Annicke 6

Where to begin.. The first time I came in contact with this scent was during summer. I remember how it made me feel and how it smelled; warm and beautiful. Intoxicating? Sensual but eventhough the amber, rose, rum are very present on my skin the pepper makes it bolder. Could see this working well on men and women. I identify with this fragrance. Edit: To me the carnation but especially the rose remain noticeably present throughout the day and balance out all the gourmand notes, so I don't get the extreme pastry-vibe some users mentioned from this. Out of the entire line this will always be my absolute favorite. #6 showcases Albert must have been INTOXICATED & head over heels with Annicke; a relic of/for a showstopper!

Something about this fragrance is soothing. I think it’s the warmth of the cinnamon combined with rose. Usually honey notes don’t work for me, but this fragrance has me under its spell. I need to stop wearing it to bed and save it for daytime, even though it relaxes me. Once I run out, I plan to buy this again. I wish it came in a stronger formulation, as it lasts only about two hours on me.

This has single handily become my new signature scent! Totally a love at first scent! I mean so addictive warm and comforting, the labdanum and amber and cinnamon are just magically blended together!! I can’t express enough how much this fragrance makes me feel just an absolute gem!!

Gingerbread cookies with a drop of rum is spot on. Not too sweet and really natural smelling gingerbread cookies. You know how honey sometimes tends to be too much and artificial in perfumes-not the case here. Very pleasant gourmand fragrance, warm and comforting.

Carnation Dr. Pepper! Spicy and ambery with a powdery effervescence, like the soda bubbles tickling your nose once poured. The rose is definitely in the backdrop on my skin. Projects loudly, definitely leaves a trail. Cool/cold weather only.

Annicke 6 is the most unusual scent from this surprisingly mundane line. A spicy floriental, it is bold and peppery with some sweetness throughout. Led by a clove-like carnation note, it becomes a spicy rose scent in its second act, tied together nicely by its balsamic amber base. A6 is fleetingly boozy at its opening, with spicy notes evident from initial spray. Here, it is briefly reminiscent of a Dr. Pepper fizzy drink, evoking Proustian memories. The balsamic amber base permeates this scent throughout, providing the perfect backdrop for the other notes. The carnation dominates the opening with its sweet-spicy warmth, with peppery spice and perhaps cardamom adding interest. As it develops, powdery rose emerges, complemented beautifully by the spicy notes. Soft woody notes follow, and the amber base becomes slightly sweeter and more dry as it develops. Some cinnamon follows, enhancing the rose and acting as a nice development from the carnation opening. The amber accord becomes slightly leathery as it develops, enhanced nicely by the smooth woody notes and spice that persists. It fades to a dry, sweet woody-amber skin scent. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. Best worn in autumn/winter. A slightly unusual take on a spicy rose scent, A6 is a pleasant composition that could be potentially challenging for some. Feminine-leaning, but unisex based on taste, A6 is the most interesting scent from an uneven collection. 4/5.

I get mostly cinnamon and amber - pepper, carnation and rose are very subtle and perfectly blended into the composition as a whole. Normally I'm not a cinnamon note lover but must admit this is a beautiful and elegant creation, not instantly making you smell like a Christmas candle. Obviously it is a perfect Christmas scent, but it keeps things both cozy and elegant at the same time. It's bold, nauseating if oversprayed, with great longevity and projection. Somehow I see it as a fall/winter, more classy sister of Hugo Boss Alive, which is generally a happy and fresh scent. Someone on Fragrantica described Alive as a 'well done generic'. That being said, Annicke 6 is this generic taken on a more mature, higher level; still not niche smelling but superior to a standard designer creation. When I first tested Annicke 6, it reminded me of Annicke 5 and somehow these two fragrances are similar. They are both cozy, fall/winter scents, boozy in the beginning and settling as amber scents. If you're a dedicated gourmand lover, I'd suggest choosing 5 - as this is a mature gourmand to me, definitely more in this direction. 6 is more about warm spices and less on edible stuff. Both are well balanced and beautiful, not redundant to each other.

I got a free sample of this and kind of forgot about it, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the notes when I looked it up again. I’ve been on a bit of a carnation kick lately, so it was a perfect rediscovery. And this really is a beautiful, warm, cozy fragrance. The touch of spiciness from the carnation blends beautifully with the other notes, particularly the cinnamon and amber, but still retains its floral qualities as well so keeps it from feeling TOO spicy. I don’t think this is particularly unique though, and I have other carnation fragrances already that make this feel redundant to have a full bottle in my collection, so for that reason I wouldn’t purchase; but I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t already have something like this! :) Art I think would smell like Annicke 6: Miss Auras, The Red Book by John Lavery

Annicke 6 Eight & Bob I started appreciating carnations more after smelling this. A perfume that truly compliments the flower. This is the best out of the whole range of Annicke. They must of kept the best for last. It's also very similar to Marshmallow by Mor. The carnation, rose and musk accord explains it. Longevity is enormous, on clothes. Warm, spicy, calming, and intriguing. Suitable for autumn and winter. (But hey, wear any perfume whenever you feel like it ). Will definitely buy the bottle after this sample runs out.

Black pepper and carnation in the opening pretty soon give way to Cinnamon and then it reigns over them all. Pretty, round, cozy, sweet, but nonetherless cinnamon, so I ended up smelling like a cinnamon bun. Annicke 6 is a gorgeous syrupy boozy cold weather scent. No cardamom is mentioned in the notes but I pick it up. The brand lists completely different notes: Top: bergamot, lily of the valley and rum Heart: honey, plum and amber Base: vanilla, caramel and patchouli I love a plum note so no surprises that I love this!

It’s nice! I’m getting a lot of pine needles (probably sichuan pepper) and some somewhat synthetic (but not bad) sweetness. It’s an interesting fragrance. Reminds me of piny BR540 a bit, this one is also very intense. It’s quite intriguing, so I would definitely give it a try.

A stylish carnation perfume! It's cool & unique. Well blended and long lasting. It doesn't remind me of any other perfume really.

strong cinnamon accord but transitioned into a headache

Not for me, the carnations are combined with the pepper, for me that combo doesn't work at all. This is a real no no for me to the point that I really can't stand the smell, sorry 😐

I was looking for a rose amber for autumn and this is what I bought. The carnation opening was a bit strong for me (I’m not a big fan of carnation) but it dissipates after about 8 minutes. Then the honey becomes very prominent and remains so for the whole profile. It is bordering on too sweet for me, but what clinched the purchase was the lovely rose amber cinnamon combo. They are blended so well and are just what I was looking for. The rum adds dimension and warms up the whole experience, whilst not being too boozy (although there is no such thing IMO). Sillage pretty big, longevity decent, leans feminine. Great autumn scent.

It starts with plum and amber notes (plum is not in the notes but I can somehow smell it), very similar to Ambre Narguile or even Kenzo Jungle. I'm not a big fan of plum, so I didn't take care much yet I sprayed it on my skin. And then wow! The best of orient in one scent - I can smell rich rose, burning incense from Indian ashrams, some precious wood, dark carnation. This stuff is incredibly complex, it's like a story with a thousand pages and a twisting plot. Try it if you have a chance, only on skin.

This reminds me a lot of oud satin mood which I own but with a more masculine twist. The oud is replaced with a dark but spicy incensey smell from the pepper and cinnamon. Otherwise they smell very similar. Iv tried clones of OSM that don’t even smell as close as this does. It’s Quite strong and I really like it but think it’s redundant to have both. I may prefer this over it.
