La Musique de Christie

I agree with the commentator who said the notes are perfectly balanced. but the leather note is so strong, i cannot stop sniffing it! it is so sexy and powerful <3_<3

It's a pretty good scent. Smooth leathery with musky base... Longevity quite good but doesn't project well. I'm not disappointed with that blind

This is very interesting. Everything is balanced out. There is no note in this fragrance competing with the other to take the top spot. Very intriguing. Perfect for spring, summer, and fall nights. Kinda meh for winter as it doesn’t pierce through the cold.

I'm a fan of Eight & Bob fragrances. I had high hopes going into this. Unfortunately the one note that I have a rocky relationship with, Patchouli, made this one difficult to enjoy for me. Right off the top it's strong leather. Clean leather similar to Tuscan Leather or the many like it. In fact the Saffron brings a red unsweetened Raspberry like feel to this, similar to Roberto Cavalli Velours Saffron. For the first 15-20 min or so it's sickly. Not sweet but pungent. As it goes farther into the drydown things settle a bit and it becomes more tolerable. This is a cold fragrance. I get no warmth from the Musk at all, or the Nutmeg. Basically you get Leather, Saffron and earthy Patchouli. None of which are all that appealing to me here. It has a mature vibe to it, unisex leaning slightly masculine. It's not horrible in the far drydown but not something I'd wear with the numerous options I have and not something I'd pay the asking price for. Disappointed unfortunately, it's a no for me. I think this line had/has potential though, I'm hoping to see more successful ones like Agneta.

La Musique de Christie fait partie de ces créations rares et audacieuses. C’est un parfum polarisant — soit on l’adore, soit on ne s’y retrouve pas du tout. Il ne laisse personne indifférent, et c’est, à mon sens, le propre des parfums de caractère. Ce qui frappe immédiatement, c’est la complexité de sa composition. Il ne s’agit pas d’un parfum facile ou consensuel. Il exige de celui qui le porte une certaine assurance, une personnalité affirmée, car c’est un sillage qui interpelle, qui questionne même parfois. Mais c’est aussi cela qui le rend si fascinant. On sent que La Musique de Christie a été travaillée avec soin, finesse et passion. Chaque note semble avoir été choisie avec précision, comme un musicien choisit ses accords pour composer une symphonie unique. Le résultat est un parfum très abouti, presque artistique dans son approche, qui peut séduire les amateurs de parfumerie de niche comme les nez les plus exigeants. En résumé, ce n’est pas un parfum pour tout le monde, mais c’est précisément ce qui en fait sa beauté. Il faut oser le porter, s’ouvrir à son langage olfactif et accepter qu’il nous emmène ailleurs, loin des sentiers battus.

Unbelievably elegant, sexy and refined. This fragrance showcases a beautifully smooth leather accord, perfectly balanced with saffron over a musky base. Surprisingly, I don’t detect the expected notes of patchouli or nutmeg, but for leather enthusiasts, this could easily become a go-to choice for an evening out. Despite the familiar note composition, it stands apart from other leather/patchouli/saffron fragrances, offering a unique and sophisticated scent experience. It’s disappointing, however, that in 2024, Eight and Bob remains one of the few companies that does not publicly acknowledge the perfumers behind their creations. Given the premium pricing of this collection, this lack of recognition feels particularly unacceptable. That said, the Les Extraits collection is an intriguing line of fragrances, with Guethary being my personal favorite and signature scent. I have yet to try Agneta, but it’s on my list. For those who appreciate an ultra refined leather and saffron combo, La Musique de Christie would be an essential addition to your fragrance wardrobe.

Ceci est mon dexiemme commentaire pour les gens qui n’aime pas trop lire , En bref , c’est un parfum cuiré , mais pas le cuir animalique , mais un cuir ( Suéde ) un cuir poudré Comme celui quand trouve dans les sacs a main J aime cette note de cuir qui est polyvante et quand peux aussi melanger ce parfum avec d autre genre de parfum soit ambré un petit peux sucré Pour lui donner ca propre touche Ps : il me rappel bcp le bottega venetta pour femme
