Le Trou 19 du Phare

Beautiful woody amber masculine fragrance, blind bought this and won.

I've owned this for 6 months and have worn it surprisingly often. It's very wearable and distinct enough to separate it from basic masculine scents. I like the combination of black leather and geranium here, they create a fascinating tension between depth and freshness. It's not my favorite perfume though, but a solid inoffensive and fresh perfume with some character as well. Wearing this quite often on sunny days with my leather jacket

What a numbingly boring scent and utter nonsense from an otherwise interesting house. Try out their other releases, they are good and carry a signature. But this is like sprinkling fake gold dust on a Big Mac and calling it exclusive. Expensive shower gel with a minimum of aromatics to make it just possible to distinguish from a 4€ spray deo.

First sniff - “oh great another expensive designer profile but after 15 minutes it evolves into something quite nice, the leather here is not as strong as the breakdown suggests, I get more geranium, patchouli and aromatic notes that come across as ever so slightly vegetal like tomato leaf. Well blended, nothing overpowers the other notes. A good fragrance to step into niche from designers.
