easily overlooked, beautiful conjunction of neroli and petitgrain bolstered by background florals. slight peach skin facet in the dry down coming from the osmanthus and/or jasmine blending w/ the sweetness of the palette. I love it & have since I first smelled it way back in like 2019. this is unisex; if anything, a slight masculine lean that I feel mostly has to do with the historical masculine connotations associated w/ the scent profile. now lets get the elephant out the way: this is a 4711/TF NP/yougetthepoint scent profile done up with a liberal dose of hedione and a fairly conservative dose an amber molecule or two, maybe a lil bit of maltol/ethyl maltol, along w/ the aforementioned floral/peach facet. whatever the case is, its well constructed imo. if you already have a fragrance in this style that you're pleased with this is instantly redundant. if you don't, I think esp at discounter pricing this is a good option - but at optimal value this would be a warm weather signature or in heavy rotation. this smells like somebody who has a collection of linen shirts. this smells like somebody who orders an Arnold Palmer on a golf course. this smells like somebody who has almost everything registered in Delaware despite being a Virginia Beach resident of 15 years. this smells like John Mayer in a Sandals Resorts commercial.

Memoires de Mustique is a very pleasant & light summer scent, very fresh and uplifting, extremely versatile. Suitable for summer and spring, daytime. Totally unisex. The performance is moderate overall. At the opening there is a blast of fresh green bergamot, petitgrain and swithish orange blossom with some woodiness at the background. After that comes to the surface a beautiful neroli note. The osmanthus stays forever at the background supporting the whole blend giving its characteristic marvelous smell on the contrary with the citrusy/lemonish vibe of the scent. Jasmine is here but subtle. Never comes as a leading note. And also there's a wonderful mild white musk which blends perfectly with the rest citrusy-floral notes. Memoires de Mustique is a very pleasant scent for hot weather but quite overpriced for its performance. If money is not a problem, this is very good scent. This is not a new smell. One similar scent that came to my mind is Giuseppe by Naso Di Raza house.

Ce parfum est très intéressant. Je l’ai senti une première fois et je n’ai pas vraiment adhéré. Une deuxième tentative m’a convaincu à lui donner une chance et j’ai bien fait. C'est un parfum assez unique qui ne ressemble à rien d’autre dans ma collection. Il se développe après un certain temps sur la peau ce qui peut fausser une première impression moins convaincante. Ce parfum incarné la chaleur des caraïbes, les odeurs d’une ballade dans une végétation luxuriante fleurie. Je le classe unisexe tendance légèrement masculine, mais c’est un vrai unisexe. This one is fantastic!!!!! It gives me something semi nostalgic and makes me remember a scent from a comfortable place in the 90’s. Not that it smells like a fragrance from back then, it just gives me that kind of vibe, and transports my mind to something very enjoyable and smooth. It feels like one of those scents that instantly just fits in its own groove and has nothing to prove. It just works. Very nice one from the house, keeps me sniffing myself constantly.

I sampled this through their sample set and I love this! The opening is quite similar to neroli portofino to me, which I also love. But this is smoother, the citrus isn't as sharp. I just don't have neroli portofino because of the fact that it doesn't perform well for how much it costs. This, though is cheaper (100ml is around 100 euros) so might be worth it to buy a full bottle for me. For me this is quite a good attempt at the 'perfect summer day scent: 9.3/10

Amazing fragrance. Smells expensive, clean, totally unisex, citrusy, slightly creamy, refreshing. I can see a guy or a girl wearing this one on the beach. White freshly washed clothes on a nice warm day.

Memoires de Mustique is a neroli-dominant summer scent that is elegant and understated - very easy-to-wear and made with good-quality ingredients. Perfectly unisex, it is a vibrant citrus-floral that is natural-smelling and well-rounded despite its simplicity. Clean and creamy, it is reminiscent of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino or Matière Première Néroli Oranger, but with a muskier base. Beautifully balanced, well-rounded and softened at the edges by the clean white musk, MdM is one of the best neroli scents I've tried. Neroli is one of my favourite notes to wear in hot weather - a green-tinged, citrus-y white floral that is feminine and sweetly tropical while airy and lightweight, and here it is set off beautifully by the other notes. MdM is neroli-dominant from initial spray, smooth and orange-y, becoming increasingly green. Bright yet smooth, it is citrus-y without being sweet. This scent seems to showcase the green side of the neroli, enhanced to perfection by woody petitgrain. As it develops, it becomes more floral, but errs on the side of freshness rather than sweetness. Creamy and increasingly powdery, it is beautiful - natural-smelling, clean, powdery jasmine adds body and orange blossom enhances the sweet orange side of the neroli. The osmanthus is an inspired addition here - its powdery peachness adds a soft tropical nuance to the neroli without overpowering the scent. The muskiness creeps in at the heart stage, lingering until final fade. It becomes increasingly musky as it dries down, with the powdery florals led by neroli remaining until final fade. Some woodiness complements the florals, and it fades to a musky-neroli skin scent eventually. Sillage and longevity are moderate, and it is made for hot weather. Perfectly unisex, MdM has mass appeal in the best way. I enjoy musky florals in general, but this is an excellent example of the genre. While it is expensive and not terribly unusual, it is really good stuff - well-rounded and high-quality throughout. Another great scent from Eight & Bob. 4/5.

To me, this is a very very old school traditional barbershop freshie. All I can smell is fresh citrus, very fresh, like 4711 out of the shower fresh, very old school. I don't get the price tag if I'm honest, and I rarely say that. I mean, this is nice, but there are 1001 fragrances *exactly* the same, for an absolute fraction of the price. The contrasting difference between the uniqueness of Cap d'Anibes Vs this is phenomenal. Cap d'Atibes I love, and it's very unique with a hint of Le Labo DNA, this? nope, smelled 100 times before :/ UPDATE: OK, after pushing this aside then coming back to it again and trying it out longer, I debated whether to write an update or a new review. Update it is; my previous review was hastened and I think I should eat my words above, but leaving it here. This fragrance is extremely addictive, and at first it might feel like a very shallow, linear monolithic fragrance, I'm totally wrong. This has a lot more depth to it than meets the eye (or nose in this case!). Yes, it's a freshie, yes it's citrus/Nerolo dominant, but there many other facets to this fragrance, some Jasmine, musk and woodsy notes poke their head out, in the subtlest of ways, but it makes this fragrance all the more mysterious, which to me, is unique in a freshie. This is my 2nd E&B frag, and although completely different from my first one, has intrigued me to try and try another one or 2 from this house, as both have been his for me now.

Memoires de Mustique is the freshest, most agreeable offering from Eight & Bob that I've yet tried, but it's also the least provocative, deep, and interesting. It's mainly a mix of the orange plant notes at the top (neroli, orange blossom, petitgrain)--and it's true that I more or less get a bit of each, probably a little less orange blossom than the other two--which dries down to a musky woody resting place within the first couple of hours. Jasmine, woods, amber, and musk provide an agreeable, balanced base. Performance is a notch below the others from Eight & Bob that I've tried so far, which, at $175 for 100ml, when compounded with its lack of flair, makes Memoires de Mustique an especially difficult sell. Still, it's pleasant, and I'd certainly wear it a lot if I owned a bottle; I just regard a cheaper alternative like John Varvatos Artisan Pure or Dior Homme Cologne as more viable. Very nice, but probably a bit pricey for what it is. 7 out of 10

Mustique brings Princess Margaret to mind, I see her looking just a little overblown - fabulous aqua marine eyes in a deeply tanned face, a flowy bohemian kaftan - caning it slightly but still having lots of fun without too many consequences. Her style always remined me a bit of Elizabeth Taylor. Charismatic, romantic yes, but hedonistic and quite needy. Princess Margaret reportedly wore Oscar de la Renta. Now that is a statement perfume! I do actually detect a little of that style in Eight and Bob's Mustique. Oscar de la Renta is a woody tuberose, this doesn't include tuberosebut it has that lush in-your-face richness. There are classic eau de cologne notes of citrus, herbs and all aspects of orange blossom - fresh and uplifting, but I do find there's a bit too much of the synthetic 'woodsy notes' for me I think this will suit the glamorous divas among in summertime!

Memoires de Mustique opens airy, zesty and woody. A white flower accord grows, flowers of orange and jasmine leading. The flowers are not powdery or sweet, sprouting on top of fairly masculine woody notes. Mustique dries down clean, slightly floral, dry and woody. Performance is average, with moderate projection and durability. A well executed, masculine white flower scent. Easy to wear, suitable for hotter weather, and inoffensive to boot. However, not the most artistic or original scent, given the price tier and niche category. White flower fans will find this pleasing.

Smells much better on paper than on skin. On paper it's more fresh/citrusy/white floral; but on my skin the osmanthus is very strong, and it dominates the scent. All in all, not a bad scent, just a tad too floral/floral-sweet for my taste. Longevity and projection are OK for this type of perfumes; there's definitely worse out there(TF lol) The search for the perfect AdC/EdC continues...

This is a top-tier neroli fragrance where the citrusy notes intermingle with white florals. Despite not being a fan of white florals, I find this one remarkably appealing for a man. However, it hasn't quite won me over, as I'm still on the search for a neroli fragrance that truly captivates me and prompts me to invest in a bottle

This is a really beautiful, I'm on the Amalfi coast, type of fragrance. It hits you with greens in the beginning then changes up to a floral but consistently dominated by neroli. While I wear this on a casual day, it's much better fit for walking the coast line, sunglasses on, button down shirt... you get the idea.

Memoires de Mustique is a very pleasant fragrance. Wasn't sure what to expect as I am new to the brand. As mentioned by another reviewer, if you have TF Neroli or others that resemble TF Neroli, I agree there is no reason to buy Mustique. You get some Neroli and citrus, faint Lijiang or Jasmine, even some white flora and Petitgrain and a small hint of musk to follow. Nothing to write or call home about. Marketed as unisex, I agree any gender could rock this. Performance: 6/10 Projection: 6/10 Silage: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Overall: 6.5/10

A basket of underripe peeled oranges decorated with a scant few sprigs of flowers. Fresh and orangey but not very juicy, plus a light floral touch embedded in a cloud of clean woody musk. There's no soap from the neroli nor leather from the osmanthus, though the latter does contribute a faint peach accord. Moderate projection for 2-3hr, longevity 6-8hr. There's something about the musk here that's a little offputting to me, but I can't quite put better words to it...

Such a glorious opening and mid-notes - a heavy dose of petitgrain, which I absolutely adore, which adds a point of difference to an otherwise safe but pleasant neroli/citrus fragrance. A few hours later I kept getting a strange whiff of a dirty unpleasant and cheap musky smell, the kind I associate with cheap and nasty men's perfume. Then I realised it was coming from me. Such a promising fragrance but a let down in the dry down.

There gotta be something wrong with their sample sets. I get two samples from two reliable sources, and both smell, consistently, rusty, fishy(literally), and with an unmistakably Chinese sauerkraut (酸菜) tone. Perhaps the base is different, but I don't have the stomach to wait for the dry-down.

Personally, I find this to be kinda ho-hum but i can't deny that it's a lil something something to get your summer started. This is a fragrance worth checking out only if L'eau des Hesperides didn't exist. The hardest fragrances to review are the ones where the notes are evenly laced. Depending on your sensory cells, one could deduce this as being a floral scent or perhaps a not so green, green. The bergamot note shows up but never shows out leaving more to be desired in that citrus department. The most frustrating thing about Mustique is not the smell but to some degree the longevity...and this is why they've created fragrance primers. I waited around for the woody components but as the fragrance was fleeting, I realized that the aforementioned note was a theory instead of something that i would actualize. If you're a Bob guy, then ignore what i'm saying and check it out. You might find comfort in wearing this if sprayed on clothing.
