Pure Vienne

Fresh aquatic floral with excellent longevity. Smooth woody drydown with musk is a great base to the bright watery florals. Reminds me to Tears from the Moon from Gucci's Alchemist Garden creation but in a much more sensible price point. I love this profile, so I have both, but this one raised something else that I love with the evolution of its wear. The branding is gorgeous; the story and heritage are quite exquisite as well. New Eight and Bob fan here!

When I sampled this I was immediately transported to the early 2000s and my signature scent at that time, Hugo Boss Woman. Clean, musky, effortless. Anyone else familiar with that fragrance get the same vibe?

Not a groundbreaking profile, but it’s so well executed in my opinion. Feels very chic. Love.

Super dewy and light white floral in a classicly femme style.

This is an alright floral airy musk. I like musk scents but I’m picky about the vibe. Mellow Musk and Cozy Musk by Mith, MSJRB, and I Do by Anthropologie are all my jam for musky scents. But this aligns more with scents like the Finery dupe for Missing Person or Nude Ballerina by Philosophy, they all have that baby sweat accord. It’s not off putting but it’s so weird to me. Like who wants to smell like a sweaty baby lmao? Add the florals and it’s giving gently used diaper. Even if it appealed to me, I’d take the Finery dupe over this.

Clean dewy floral scent with musk. Not much else to say.

I compared the Eight & Bob fragrances Annicke 1 and Pure Vienne directly, as they share some similarities. Both are lightly-powdery airy white floral scents - natural, elegant, feminine and classy. I would say Pure Vienne is more old fashioned lady-like, with an almost peachy lightly-sweet roundness. Annicke 1 has more spice and green, is perhaps a bit more unique and modern. Annicke 1 lasts slightly longer, although both are moderate in that regard.

This is a very pretty and clean Lily of the valley perfume. It is not green but still spring like, and slightly watery. However it isn’t soapy at all. Definitely floral and leaning feminine. The juice is quite oily so I guess it will last. I am pleased with it, huge bottle but it isn’t amazingly novel- just very well executed version of the style. On the drydown the woody note comes through- it’s quite dry but soft. It makes it a bit more unisex.
