Jardin des Sens Secret II

Dense, oriental, heavy, but not bad. Warm scent for fall and wintertime, like a rich elixir of sophisticated spices. Even if not in my style, it is nice.

Nice, I think. It is not old-fashioned... It is universal perfume, you can use it all year round. It is amber fruity scent.

Awful in my opinion. The top notes reminded me of toilet spray, but after a few minutes, it smelled like somebody had actually used the toilet. A few hours later it's just strong and heavy, very strong woody, amber, earthy notes. I think it smelled off right from the beginning. The only thing I liked about is the key hanging from the bottle, that was really pretty.

When I was a pre-school kid, our family used to have so called family shampoo - a huge bottle of bright green intensely scented apple shampoo from Turkey. It had rather "tutti frutti" scent than something that would remind me apples, but one thing for sure - the scent was mouthwatering. For sure, once I was "alone with the shampoo" I couldn't resist myself of having couple of gulps of it... to realize, that it does not taste as good as it smells :D This perfume did resemble this "apple shampoo" so much, that I bought two 50 ml vials of it... but quickly realized that with one vial will make enough fun I crave for! Overall from Les Orienteux Latin this is least intense and least oriental due to the plums and grapefruits in the opening and makes it fresh. Yet still there are some shampoo-like properties to it. The silage is medium and the fragrance, while oriental, is a bit transparent. Although I cannot call it a true crowd pleaser, this does not have homicidal properties either.

Plummy sweet, like a very fruitti sweet blend with some chunks of jasmines, and oranges for the bitter factor. Not bad tho with that sweet happy yet strong sweetness.
