Love Affair Homme

Never mind my preview review, I was right and indeed the bottle at that store was bad, try it in another store the SA just opened the box has it was a brand new tester. This is something unique, very very very soft, probably one of the softest perfumes I've ever smelled, but it has good longevity, somewhat good projection the first 2 hours, but in this perfume it's hard to judge, basically because this smells like an incredible luxurious clothes softener. Now I get the name, i'm having a love affair with this perfume, always smelling my arm. This is a very low profile gentleman, romantic and educated (I say gentleman, but this can be very well unisex, definitely) really addicting smell but too soft, my skin is more acidic so perfumes tend to last less than average and don't project as well (since it resists more against smells good or bad) so I need fragrances with a little more kick to it, to me the only downfall for this perfume, on the other hand it's one of the most intriguing things about this fragrance as well, I simple can't decide if I love or hate the performance of this fragrance, well, kudos for the name this is indeed an affair!

I bought this fragrance online after smelling it in a store only once. Although it was nearly a blind-buy, I have not regretted it once. It is just so beautiful, light, likeable, different. It is definitely not a typical floral fragrance for men. As meroo pointed out, it really does open up like some kind of women makeup. It could pretty much be a unisex perfume. It probably would not suite anyone too muscular. But it would not be wearable by someone who is not confident about their muscularity (it takes a real man to drive a pink Cadillac). During colder months, it lasts for 12 hours easily. But when it is really hot and I’m sweating a lot, it lasts for 2 hours max, which is a pity. Overall one of the best perfumes I have ever smelled and the drydown is just unbelievable. The best from the line. Unique and seductive. After wearing this perfume you will fall in love with yourself. Very very and again very sexy fragrance. Magic in a bottle.

Absolutely fantastic. Floral, but something dark and deep. Too classy. To dificult to find, except in Europe.

Its not for homme for sure. This musky powdery can be not girly nor sweet but its so womanly and mature.

Love Affair by Eisenberg is a superb and classy floral fragrance. I get clearly lots of flowers, mild sweet flowers, strong rose, forest fruits, jasmine, tobacco and musk. Hour after hour, it gets smother and more aromatic, a superb quality fragrance. The longevity is really long lasting and the sillage is heavy. This is one of the most sophisticated scents I’ve ever tried. A superb choice for cool summer nights, autumn, spring and I dare to say at winter times. It’ll add a summer note in the middle of the cold winter... Excited!!! Quality juice!!! I think that it’s a unisex fragrance but still a very safe quality-masculine floral choice for the modern men. It has more masculine orientation than woman’s. I always were searching for a floral men’s scent and after many-many years, here it is. It reminds me a fragrance, which my mother used to wear many years ago but I can’t figure out which one. She always had expensive fine aromas, woman’s and unisex aromas, it was one of hers passions. Wearing it, reminds me wonderful summer days in a forest full of nice smells. Flowers, aromatic plants and summer scent... I strongly recommend it as men’s fragrance if you are searching for a fine floral scent. Superb and gorgeous. I don’t know why Eisenberg fragrances are not so popular. They are superior quality fragrances, long lasting with rich sillage. The J'ose (EDP, black bottle) is my signature scent and my next target is Le Peche, which I tried, and I liked it.

Thoughts: - Fantastic scent but I can see that not everyone can pull this one off. Not a blind buy, you will have to def. try it on yourself. - Not the most masculine, you would guess it's a women perfume! I even double checked which section am I at when I sprayed it on! it opens up a lot like women makeup, or some perfumes. It feels like your GF gave you a hug then you can smell "whatever she has on" on your clothes for a while. - The scent itself is beautiful, powdery, soapy, clean, rich, elegant. Again, wouldn't fit everyone, if you're a rugged, macho man, this is probably too feminine for your looks. If you're like me, not worried about your masculinity, have a collection of perfumes already and want a wild card addition as a seducer, this is for you. - I'm guessing women would love it, because it smells a lot like something they would wear themselves a lot.

I can look past a poor performance if the scent is that good. And Love Affair is that good. An unoffensive powdery, little bit musky jasmine and sandalwood bomb with almond. Soft, bright, it just makes me happy when i smell it, perfect cuddle scent. I feel like this is very good Prada L'homme alternative but without the iris, it just givesm me the same vibe. If you got bored of L'homme or wanna try something different even tho it's more feminine leaning i 100% recommend it. As said, this could easily be worn by anyone, very unisex in my opinion. I just wish it wouldn't be this weak but it is what it is.

Nose Note #440 Nothing masculine about it + it smells like unwashed genitalia. It has A LOT of musk and it's not pretty. I guess it does smell like a love affair... And it also does smell a lot like Lacoste Pour Femme It's better in the sillage than upclose. And after some time of getting used to it it becomes quite nice. But again, nothing masculine about it 6/10, a take on Lacoste Pour Femme, not for boyz

Very lovely and quite feminine; freesia with a dash of green blackcurrant tea, delves into a musky and powdery heliotrope cloud. There's a thin thread of vanilla throughout its life, keeps it sweet and a bit grounded. Perfect for bright and sunny spring or autumn days. A bit too musky for the dead of summer. Arms length sillage, it's a decent cloud and it's only been an hour.

Love Affair is in a weird spot for me: I don't really get to smell it past the opening note, but it definitely gets me noticed way past it by others. Glorious opening note, staying power is really so-so. Still, this is a rather unique fragrance in my collection. It took me a while to buy a 30ml bottle, but this one might survive my cut.

If you like this Eisenberg, try Bvlgari Jasmin Noir edp for women. They are different scents but they have the same vibe, the same feeling if you know what I mean. The eisenberg is stronger though.

A transparent, watery blackcurrant and freesia scent, with an under layer of vanilla. I don't feel the rose or heliotrope. Mildly ozonic and sweet, but terrible performance, utterly synthetic and not in the least bit masculine. For €55 it's a complete rip off -you will find similar scents in Bath and Body works for much less.

Almost the same as Lacoste pour Femme, which is way cheaper. Glad to have it but will not be getting it again. Will probably lean too feminine for a lot of men.

Powdery almond scent with some flowers. Very inoffensive. It smells good but that's about it. Very unisex.
