Limoncello Season

This is a lovely spring/summer daytime perfume for when you want something fresh that doesn’t overwhelm the senses. Despite its long list of notes, it doesn’t really have a scent journey: from beginning to end it’s the same powdery citrus musk. Think of it as an elevated eau de cologne. It has decent longevity and sillage — and honestly, for a fragrance like this, you don’t actually want more. It’s very reasonably priced, so it’s definitely bang for your buck. For running errands, going shopping, meeting friends for coffee, going to school, or even the gym, this is an easy, breezy go‐to. I recommend it — and at this price point, it’s even blind‐buy safe.

I love the way the lemon was made here, it gives you that "lemon/lime tang with booze" vibe to it, the only heavy downside and the only complaint I've got is that it's incredibly fleeting...it doesn't last more than an hour and a half on my skin and I hate that, be cause I really really love this zingy zest citrus with the powdery vanilla-y background, it lifts up your mood, makes you put on a smile after a bad day...c'mon El Ganso, make this last longer ;.; 8/10.

Lovely, creamy lemon dessert. Absolute banger for the buck. It is a citrus dominant frag so don't expect much longevity. What it does, it does great so give it a try if you're looking for a sweet and fresh summer alternative. 7.5/10

Ok, this was my second fragrance i ever got, first was Sunday Mood, and at the time i thought it smelt fantastic. I thought it smelt like a refreshing glass of lemonade on a hot day and i loved it. However, my nose has since matured and i’ve smelt some far higher quality fragrances. Going back to this today shocked me on how much it had changed, it now smells like a synthetic lemon toilet cleaner in the opening, with baby powder in the mid and after about 10 minutes you basically get a soft vanilla in the drydown before it vanishes off your skin, and i don’t recommend it. The performance is dreadful but you get what you pay for. I would like to offer an alternative for those of you that are thinking about buying this, Eau de Citron Noir by Hermes. It smells ten times better and you can smell the change in quality. If you can save up the extra cash, please do. It performs better, it smells more natural and more pleasant and it’s my favourite scent at the moment!

A mi naríz buenos ingredientes que usa Limoncello Season ya que en la apertura la bergamota y el jengibre me recuerda muchísimo a Acqua di Parma Bergamoto di Calabria. Cómo muchos cítricos sé que es difícil permanecer en el exquisito inicio, y cada quien intenta su secado duradero a su modo, éste es un camino con vainilla. Nada que ver con el Chanel Allure Homme edición Blanche, cuyo camino lo toma con el sándalo, que a mi parecer es más formal, elegante y sofisticado que el Limoncello. Recomendado para eventos diurnos, de no muy prolongada duración, tal vez también para uso de oficina. Llevadero para jóvenes o maduros con vestimentas frescas. Gracias.

This is a really good fragrance for its price. Only downside is the projection and longetivity but other than that its nice. Opening is fresh citrusy not synthetic at all. After dry down you can smell the vanilla and ozonocic notes which is nice and smooth. Overall its a great summer fragrance and has that chanel scent profile. I would rate it 7/10 just because the longetivity and projection is weak so you cant smell all the notes just citrus.

Bought this one for almost nothing (19€ for 75ml). I actually find this very nice... I see no similarity with Allure Homme Edition Blanche. The first blast reminds me almost of a Cedrat Boise fresh and bright initial lemon, which is quite quick. The drydown is delicious... Reminds me of a Halloween Man X summer version of vanilla creaminess. On hotter days this can be extraordinary... Gonna have to wait and see.

Its a nice fragrance overall. Very long listing +12 hours. It smells like the dessert tiramissu limoncello. It starts like a fresh colone in the opening. At the begging (first 5 mins around) is more masculine dominant, then definitely goes into the female side. I would describe it more as a unisex scent than masculine one. In the dry down is very similar to tresor nude by lancome. Very vanillishie sweet.

Sniffed this yesterday and it caught my attention. It is really bright lemony and has a slight Aventus undertone so I can agree to the Cedrat Boise connection. Longevity is always going to be the problem with citrusy fragrances and this one is affected. But for the price when it is on sale, it is worth it as a summer main squeeze.

Similar type of vanilla like in Bohemian Lime, nice but little weak on performance.

It smells just like the liquor, very refreshing and uplifting. Unfortunately, performance is really poor, like it is completely gone after an hour or so :(

Lemon pie / lemon bars with an alcoholic overtone, so yeah - limoncello. For the first half hour the alcohol note is pretty strong. So-so longevity.

I get no limoncello, only disappointment.

Perfect citrus car frag or dumb reach! This can be found on the cheap, and is my (male 40's) version of my gal's glovebox body spray. Perfectly unisex, if not slightly leaning masculine. Like if you took Mercedes-Benz Cologne or old school Dior Homme Cologne, made the lemon less piercing and softer, added just a touch of musk for longevity and a bit of a creamy vibe, and sweetened out the sour lemon. Now, I love lemonheads and generally anything sour lemon, so I love MBC and DHC, but as much as El Ganso Limoncello smells heavenly and like a lot of those easy going EDCs, it actually performs pretty well! I'm in swamp ass florida and it sticks around, even in high heat. For the price, easy 10/10. If you're paying $40 or more, its still good as hell. Less tart than it's more expensive cousins, but better performance and even smoother!

This has a quite similar Top Note of lemon & ginger to Sahara Blue of Moresque. A little bit sour from lemon and spicy from ginger, after that, it has the note of vanilla but is not too sweet. Kinda easy to wear in spring and summer as a daily scent. If you guys side by side this scent with Sahara blue, it's kinda hard to identify these two

Nope.... not for me. Opening is a pretty good, mellow, citrusy, lemon candy scent. Which (on my skin) quickly (like within 5 minutes) transforms into a creamy musk... thats it. And I don't like musk.. Extremely weak performance also, I will return it... Bottle looks nice though...

What a find! I have been reaching for this all summer long when we were on a vacation in the Canary islands. Perfect for hot, humid weather and vaguely reminds me of yes, a limoncello drink with a hint of sugar on the rim. Longevity was 4 hours tops.

Longevity is a joke. Nice scent.
