Royal Gold

Very similar to the oil version, but lighter and fresher. A slightly fruity vanilla which reminds me of Cap Nature Vanille Yves Rocher. I like to layer it with the oil to get some sillage and prolong the longevity (oil on skin, spray on hair and clothes). Lovely, feminine,very wearable and affordable!

This perfume smells exactly like cheirosa 40 and vanilla woods !! If you love those fragrances, you’ll love this also. The jasmine and rose aren’t really that strong if you don’t really like florals.

Lovely vanilla scent, to my nose not similar to Cheirosa 40, Kayali or Vanilla Woods. It is very similar to Irissime Noir by Jaques Fath and both layer well together.

Just like Cheirosa 40 but lasts longer. Amazing. Obsessed.

DEAD on dupe for Vanilla Woods by The Seven Virtues. It is very vanilla heavy with a slight woody undertone. The woodiness gives it a little more of a “grown-up” vanilla vibe while still being a VERY vanilla forward gourmand. It’s nothing ground breaking, but it’s a beautiful layering perfume! When you layer with the royal gold oil, you’ll get a few more hours of wear. The price point is spot on as well. At $25, it’s a total steal. Because it’s shipping internationally, you are going to be paying $20+ for shipping, but considering that’s the initial price point is so low, it’s still a total deal. I will definitely continue to repurchase so I can always have a bottle on my shelf.

It's ok, nothing spectacular nor ground breaking just your typical light vanilla (jasmine +vanilla and musk) with some woody base. It's cute. I will leave it sit for a bit maybe I will love it later.

I'm definitely picking up on those jasmine and sweet notes. It smells really light and feminine. I've read the other reviews and I don't understand some of the hate. It doesn't seem like it would stay long though. I won't use this perfume, but I'm okay with it.

Worst perfume I've ever smelled. It smells like someone sat in a small toilet together with a horse and both shat together and the human light a cigarette. It smells like both human and horse shit combined with smoke from cigarettes! I'm a fan of smoky, like smoked WOOD or incense but not cigarette smoke and also the shit smell. What vanilla, Jasmine and rose are there? And sweetness? There's none. Dupe for cheirosa 40, really? No, this is a horrible perfume and really gross! And to add a bit, it also smell like old carbon boxes to it. Nice blend......

VERY subtle vanilla. I don’t find it to be at all similar to Kayali’s. I don’t pick up the floral notes or much of the sweetness, but I do agree with the person that said it smells kinda like burnt hair. I wouldn’t say burnt hair specifically, but theres a certain “stuffiness” i can’t place. I don’t hate it, I just definitely can’t wear it alone. I regret not buying the intense version, I’ve seen more reviews on that one:(

I’m not sure if I got a bad patch of this perfume or what but it smells like pure alcohol with burned hair scent afterwards. I will let it macerate and see if that helps, but i’m super disappointed as it was super hyped.

Smells lovely when sprayed into the cap or onto a tester strip!! Smells similar to SDJ 40! Butttttt on my skin it is burnt hair mixed with mould so definitely need to try before you buy.

I have never hated a scent so much. A fragrance has never actually enraged me until I met royal gold. I was influenced (again) from an influencer on TikTok that raved about how this was a perfect vanilla etc etc. My order comes and I don’t even know how to explain this smell I just knew I hated it. I can’t specify exactly what it is until recently I ordered scents from Dua brand. I ordered two scents and they both had this underlying stench..then I realized I’ve smelt this...it smells just like Royal Gold. I read a few reviews and multiple compared the smell to burning hair. That’s the stench in royal gold.. smells like burnt hair. It is absolutely vile. I have let it sit for months and I just gave it another go and it’s the same! It hasn’t macerated it’s still freaking burnt hair! The other two I ordered (makkah and coco Musc) have improved but royal gold is still horrible. I’m going to try to sell it.

Almost spot on for Vanilla Woods, maybe the musk is slightly sharper but it's an almost imperceptible difference. Performance is similar to vanilla woods as well. Not a loud projector but does create a good scent bubble and has excellent longevity on clothes. As others have mentioned, it is perfect for layering if you needed to add a vanilla depth to something but didn't want it to be gourmand. This is a smoky, floral, somewhat fruity vanilla. Not cakey or candy like.

I blind bought this bc of tiktok after ppl said it smells like a vanilla cake. Got a little disappointed bc it rly doesn’t! The opening is a little too woody for my liking. I saw someone say it smells a little like burnt hair, and it rly does IN THE OPENING. After some hours it settles into a rly nice and sweet vanilla scent. Reminds me of SDJ 40

Solid vanilla, last long and projects, perfect for layering. I never use it alone 8,5/10
