Royal Gold

I found this gem strolling along a Middle Eastern bazaar. The smell is deliciously decadent, of sweet vanilla with a faint jasmine top note, and balanced out with strong and everlasting amber and musk at the heart of it. Even more shockingly, it was less than five dollars. I truly would recommend this to everyone. From the reviews I've read, the roll-on is longer-lasting and stronger than the perfume version. Personally, I wouldn't use this as a signature scent, but definitely paired with other perfumes, and as a "touch up" scent to have on the go (given its convenient size). I do think Ariana Grande's "Cloud" for a sweet and light scent, or Mugler's "Angel" for a blend of sweet and spicy, would pair nicely with this! If you are looking to order this scent, your best bet is to buy it off their website; it's terribly difficult to find locally if you live in North America. Keep in mind that the shipping might take up to a month or more if you live in North America, and will be pricey, due to shipping costs from Europe, so you're best off buying the roll-ons in bulk.

This is what I wanted Golden Sand from Al Rehab to be. This one IS Golden Sand minus the harsh & masculine notes. Royal Gold is a soft and sugary vanilla that is noticeable but kind of reserved and laid back. I'm surprised at how lovely this is for the price point. It's so affordable, I could buy it on a monthly subscription and I would need to because the longevity is not bad but it's not eternal by a long shot. I tried layering this with Eilish and thought that was a mistake. However, once the 2 dried down, they compliment well and give a lush scent of "Cloud"-like vanilla.

I'm so glad Fragrantica included this line in the database. This is the most delicious sweet vanilla in the world believe me, every time I wear this oil I get a compliment, I gave a bottle to my sister in law and she told me she gets so many compliments that she was going to order some more because she finished her bottle(5ml alcohol free oil). The price of this beautiful oil is so good that I recommend every body to at least try. Big love for me.

As soon as I rolled it on I developed a headache. I suspect the jasmin. Otherwise, perfection in a bottle. I want to bathe in in. The scent strongly reminds me of Casmir by Chopard, which was my signature scent in the nineties. Hope the headache was a coincidence.

Sweet vanilla amber musk. The smell almost reminds me of honey. I love it! Sometimes it does become a bit synthetic to my nose though.

Epic performance, great scent, 2 euros! Puts some of the designers to shame (most in fact).

At first it smelled exactly like my beloved Cap Nature Vanille from Yves Rocher and other vanillas from mid-'90s, but then a dusty plastic note showed up and ruined it for me...I'll try it again when it's warmer and I hope that the scent of plastic will be gone. Such a shame, because it's really lovely otherwise. Update: it's all good, the plasticky note is gone and I can finally enjoy this very nostalgic, very calming and warm vanilla. My fave!

Great scent. I bit montale-ish. Very longlasting! It smells almost identical to roses vanille, but less sugary. The flowery notes replaced the sugar. But the vibe is the same as roses vanille. If you find roses vanille too sweet but you like the combination vanille and flowers, try this one. It’s a steal for the money it costs!

i own the roller version of it and it builds such a nice base to stronger parfumes with similar touches. one sniff of it and shik shak shok starts playing in the background, really sweet perfume

This is soooo worth it! I have owned many El Nabils and this is their best, period. Sweet amber tonka-ish vanilla that projects quite a bit for an attar. More French style than Arabian style blend. No hidden oud or saffron. Love love this one for layering, goes under many perfumes. Will get you compliments. Long-lasting, too. One word of warning though with El Nabils, they turn in about 3 years (they become very faint). The only cost of few euros though, but don’t stock up! Get it! You won’t regret it I promise.

Great scent, very sweet and spicy, almost resembling Arabians tonka by montale. I wish it was slightly more woody, but it's absolutely amazing if you like super sweet honey like scents. The performance is also amazing (12+ hours), I have the roll on version. It doesnt project too far, but it creates a nice bubble around you. A couple of passes behind the ear, hair/beard, on the neck, and the rest of the pulse points (wrists, inner elbows, etc.) would be more than enough to enjoy this amazing scent.

It's very sweet and vanilla but it has a note of something that smells funky to me. It doesn't really smell like cheriosa 40 to me like I've seen other people post. But it is a vanilla fruity so I can see why maybe they'd say that. It reminds me more of vanilla woods in terms of sweetness but with that weird note of something that smells funky.

I love amber, vanilla and musk and i really enjoy El Nabil oils (amber of yamen is the best!) But this one has some weird note inside. I can't explain what is it exactly, maybe it's jasmine... I don't know. And also it's a bit cloying for me (maybe because of this weird note)

Smells like Al Rehab Golden Sand, but smoother and more blended.
