Astrum Nova

This stuff is actually incredible. Bought it on a whim, I enjoy mango as a note, when done well and Im a fan of the house. Some other mango scents I have and enjoy are: TK No. 4 Neon, Torino 24, and a few others. I immediately smelled this one and thought it was the best mango frag I've smelled. I need some more wears to be sure, but this is really good. Starts with a sweet realistic mango note with juicy citruses, then aromatics come in with woods and projecting clean musky synthetics. The whole package is very pleasant, very complex for a mango centric frag, and more aromatic than you would imagine. It's hard to put an exact finger on what makes it so great, but that's the kicker with some great frags. You can explain them, but theyre just awesome. This is one. Electimuss tends to blend naturals with high end synthetics, and they do it well. But, if you are completely against synthetic aromachemicals, this wont be for you. It does smell high end and rich, though. Totally unisex, leans very slightly masculine due to the aromatic musky vibe. But still straight uni. 8.5/10.

Absolutely gorgeous! A sweet mango candy opening. The citrus feels juicy and the ambrette pushes it toward a musky overripe mango instead of green. Orris in the mid gives a thick texture to the juicy black currant. I can clearly pick out the Osmanthus- its leathery nuance is like fuzzy peach or apricot skin. In the dry down the oud is super smooth and the musk isn’t too intense; on my skin it’s more vanilla, tonka and powdery moss. The tonka feels sparkly and refreshes the candy sweetness. It becomes more of an elegant vanilla skin scent on me at about 6-8 hours, but my clothes still smell strongly of the mid the next day. Astrum Nova projects lots of fruity sweetness in the air. My husband complimented me several times from across the room. I find this to be truly unisex. Definitely full bottle worthy for me! This is one of my favorite mangos, along with Gritti Rialto.

I like this scent and I cannot lie....(to the tune of Sir Mix a Lot's 90's hit. You know the one) The mango is juicy photorealistic goodness on a bed of a musky, vanillic, spicy base that smells a lot like Ramon Monegal's Siesta. Its punchy with great longevity and sillage. The mango differentiator is enough for me. A few others in my camp stated that they smelled wants of Azure Royal in here as well and that it truly smelled like a Mashup of it and Siesta. So. Still love it. Great for really any season. Got a few of those elusive compliments with it too. If you want me to weigh in on price vs performance, Uniqueness, I will say that even though new you can still get it at 30% off of you wait for a sale. Do with that as you will. Electimuss makes lasting stuff. Overall:4.3

I love this stuff. As a mango lover I may be somewhat biased but this hits so nice. Very nice fruity uplifting mango citrus and currant combo. The musk gives it some clean airy lift while osmanthus gives it a fruit-floral touch. I’m the mid Iris helps give the floral aspect some creaminess and the amber warms it up some. As it dries more the oud and oak moss give it a nice backbone to stand on. They just blend together to give a woody base to cling on while the vanilla and tonka add some sweetness. It’s my fav mango scent along with trouble in paradise. Nova stays brighter longer and better in higher heat where trouble in paradise is more for evenings cause that one goes more sweet, boozy and leathery oud in the drydown.

The fragrance opens with a burst of juicy, vibrant mango paired with blackcurrant, adding a mouthwatering tartness to the composition. The fruity accord feels natural and lively, instantly setting a bright, joyful mood. As it develops, a soft powdery iris emerges, bringing an elegant touch, while the base of smooth tonka beans adds warmth and comfort. The fruity character lingers throughout the entire wear, beautifully intertwined with the other notes. It’s a well-balanced, wearable scent that brings genuine pleasure from the very first spray to the final drydown. I’m pleasantly surprised by this new release! 🤩 To me, the fragrance is a true unisex.

This is an incredible release by Electimuss. It's fruity, and it's powerful. The opening is even stronger than Erba Gold, which in my opinion shares quite a bit of similarities with this blue and gold bottle. Erba Gold dries down faster, but it can also be less cloying than this one. This works great for hot summer days or nights, couldn't really see a use for this during the colder months. My wallet will cry for months, but with this kind of performance - these 100 ml will probably last a lifetime. Oh and on a completely different topic.. THE NAME??? ASTRUM NOVA? kinda misleading but still badass.

Astrum Nova is a study in contradictions - beautifully effervescent and refreshing, yet sensual and opulent. With an incredible sillage and amazing longevity, this is a compliment getter, and is totally “signature scent” worthy. Love the mango in the opening - it's the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It then becomes a bit powdery and kinda fuzzy and finally, once the soft vanilla comes through, becomes a delicious yet refreshing mango duet icecream (mango sorbet + vanilla ice cream).

Everything is good on this one I pre order this and I don't regret it. nice opening sparkly mango I get a hint of almost 90s bubble gum but it dissappears quickly this is nothing like the trending mango scents drys so nice with with a fruity woody sparkly scent. The first day of wearing this I had plenty of compliments and this doesn't happen frequently so the scent in the air is very good and it's in my top 5 of new perfumes I've tryed this year

This is by far the best tropical scent on the market, incredible release by electimuss, the mango and mix with apricot from the osmanthus is just chefs kiss, smells super high quality as well, if compliments is your thing, astrum nova has you more than covered, compliment monster!! this is a 10/10

I'm not a massive fan of musk in perfumery, but this one hits all the right places. It's an incredible performer and very addictive. So different to anything else I own. I can't wait for the heat now, as this will be a mainstay in my collection.

Blind bought and it’s a BANGER!!! Wow the mango is so realistic and delicious. Finally being sold by many discounters and I snagged it for $200. Sorry ya’ll but I’m afraid every collector needs this one!

Mango perfume done to perfection. Its got a deep complex scent with mango being the strongest factor. Forget everything you think a mango perfume is until you have smellt this. It's so good. 10/10

A unique fragrance for this summer, an amazing blend of mango and the oud. A must have for this summer.

So this one is interesting to me. It started off as pure mango. Really sweet, a bit green. Kind of felt like I just took the first bite of a mango and got some juice on my nose. It sat like that for a while before drying down to a very sweet vanilla Tonka bean musk mix with a bit of a lingering green note that lasted for the rest of the day. And I don't mean that smelling the area you sprayed would give you a small whiff of it. Nooo. I was smelling it while walking around over 9 hours later. When I woke up and changed I was still smelling it. I can still faintly smell it on my neck 25 hours later. This is something else. I am glad I decided to get a travel size, though. I can't see myself wearing this too often even if I do love it. The drydown can get cloying. But it also reminds me of something I just can't pinpoint.

This opens really sweet, dries down to a greener mango with ambroxan/synthetic soft musky woods, then deepens quite a bit as the oud and oakmoss become more prominent. It's a lovely fragrance, but the price must be noted - $390 is really unaffordable for just a lovely fragrance. It also smells like two fragrances and probably others I'm not thinking of at the moment that are less $$ and possibly better - A by Pantheon Roma, and God of Fire. Maybe mango skin and mango oud as well for good measure. Considering the popularity of God of Fire several years ago, this kind of seems like a copycat. If I was wealthy I'd possibly have all five in my collection as strong likes. I’m not blown away by any of them and will stick with decant.

Rich, fresh, comforting, fruity, a bit creamy at the base from vanilla. Opens with very realistic not overly ripe or candy-like mango. I get why many people love it for warmer weather, but for me it seems perfectly suitable for any season at all. It was a love at first sniff, fell in love at the single spray on my wrist and could smell it on my sleeve for days, perhaps even weeks. It went to my wishlist and now I have a bottle, but at this point I started to realise that although it is unisex, in the opening for me it appears to be leaning a touch masculine, and I much prefer feminine leaning unisex scents (and also more gourmand :D). Strange, as at first I perceived it as more feminine. Will be letting my bottle go...

This is an incredibly strong, long lasting fragrance with powerful sillage. It's very masculine and has a similar character to Moroccan Medjool, but it's fruitier and fresher in the opening, while still having a depth and gravitas over the wear of the fragrance. Though it's fruity with mango and blackcurrant notes, there's nothing feminine about this. I imagine the ideal person wearing this is a good-looking gym guy, mid-30's, but with excellent taste and a somewhat quirky side to his nature. I sprayed a small squirt to the back of my hand this morning to test and 8 hours later, I can still smell it. Very high quality.

I got a sample of this and sprayed without reading up on the notes. A blast of juicy mango which is then backed up with oudy woods, and I also get the currant and citrus. It is strong and it sustains for a decent few hours. It says it’s for men but I’d say it’s pretty unisex, depending on your mood. What a nice scent! But for £300+ I want it to blow my tits off and this...doesn’t quite.

I like this. Really like this. Bright juicy mango that stays nearly throughout. But I really enjoy the drydown. I can't wait to wear this on a hot day. The only thing I don't like is the price. If I see this at a discounter, maybe. But not as-is. I need to try GOF first to know which one I prefer. But this does rock.

= god of fire Fruity exotic sweet fragrance. Female leaning, subtle oud, subtle musk. Well crafted, but can be too sweet/fruity for some. Unfortunately, it disappeared on my skin after 3 hours 😥

I don't want to gross anyone out, but the opening smells like regurgitated mango. It's very sharp. This is a hard and fast no. A kinder description might be a reference to mango-scented nail polish remover. I will continue to test as I did purchase a whole 5 ml of this. Update: the sharpness fades after about an hour and it becomes much more lovely.

Yuck! This is a blind buy fail. It makes my stomach turn. Synthetic smelling, overripe mango and stanky oud. There’s nothing fun or elegant about this fragrance. Gross and loud. Can’t imagine anyone wearing this in the heat.

Big fan of this one, its like God of Fire but with more depth. The oud in the drydown feels very clean and not harsh. The mango stays all the way through, and the vanilla adds a touch of creamy sweetness. Would be amazing for a spring or summer night out. I am fighting the urge not to buy a full bottle but we will see. The price is crazy but the juice inside and the bottles that Electimuss make are of the highest quality.

More realistic mango than the others in this category. I think I like this one the most from the group (eg porthole, gof, etc). Mangos might be my favorite fruit, but I noticed I never end up reaching for my mango forward fragrances. For some reason I get tired of smelling them after the first few attempts. Maybe this one will break that pattern.

This smells nothing like Arabians Tonka, lol what the hell? Anyway - this is beautiful and I need it 😩😩😩. 2/2026 update - I got a full bottle and it’s just as beautiful as I remember. People’s noses crack me up, I see they removed the Arabians Tonka and now y’all think this smells like God of Fire? No it does not 😒😒.

I don’t know why @parispeach said this is likely a clone for something as if Electimuss is a clone house.. Yes they have done some twists but every perfume house has, and they have plenty of unique special fragrances not similar to anything...

This is not a ripe mango, this one smells like those sour indian green mangoes done in a good way and balanced out by woods and vanilla undertones

Beautiful mango smell but the oud also comes through, making it really interesting and definitely not one note. Onto my want to have list!

Mos def will get a decant of this one asap.
