Auster

What a beautiful concoction, smells pretty similar to Widian London to my nose, because of the fruitiness in the opening, the leathery and woody undertones. The difference resides in the use of Anis, which lives throughout the wearing keeping it warm, and intense. Yet, the lemon reminds its freshness. The scent is very unique, it doesn't smell synthetic at all. Auster should receive much more hype from the fragrance community, it's like layering perfumes. The sillage is Amazing, long lasting. If you love oriental fragrances, then this is a must try, for any season. Crowd-pleasing fragrance, easy to wear, for the price and the quality, simply amazing. Signature scent worthy 9.5/10

al qurashi blend is very expensive. They sell it in their own store in Dubai for 900 dirhams, about $250. They claim the product is completely natural. So, we can't call it a clone. I smelled Blue Sapphire at the Boadicea stand at the fair. It must have cost around $350. I spoke with a senior woman from the company. This might sound harsh, but Electimuss Auster is superior to both. It's also cheaper. When I mentioned this at their stand, she naturally objected, but that's the situation...

More dense and dank version of blue sapphire...blue sapphire has an effervescence and an airy and shimmering vibe..this is the dark brooding and more serious version ...BS is more lemony and fruity in its opening while this straight away shows its Patchouli and geranium strength..star anise shines but just about . In the dry down both smell more or less similar...auster outlasted the BS by a few hours before both became skin scents. Price wise auster is better value for money .

A unisex masculine leaning geranium master-fragrance. Ambergris is a very special component to this composition, it tangles with every note effortlessly . This is (to my nose) a more ethereal version of Xerjoff Fars. The base has a velvety suede texture that smells of Mysore sandalwood becoming a very multi faceted spicy floral that has led to quite a few compliments.

This is powerful, it needs so settle. Once it does, not more than a few minutes, it's stunning in the air. If your going to burry your face in it, your not going to enjoy this. I've never sampled Blue Sapphire, so I cannot compare. I have nothing like this in my collection. It took me a few wearings to begin to appreciate this and it's quickly becoming my go to.

i had a sample of blue sapphire a few years back and absolutely loved it - but the price was a dislike. I found auster on sale - and yes, it fills the void that was left when my blue sapphire ran out. As someone who actively avoids fragrances with clove - like the plague... so i was skeptical. But hey, if it works, it works. Love this. 8/10

Really struggled with this one at first. Extremely potent and I can see why it’s divisive. The geranium and clove are intense. However, I’ve grown to really love it. Sort of old school powerhouse type projection and very sharp. Truly a timeless, traditional masculine scent with excellent quality and longevity. A modern classic.

Love this one but I don't think its for everyone. Its very clean and leans a little mature but in an incredible way! If you aren't into it give it a couple tries because I'm a big fan now but I wasn't initially. I've enjoyed everything I've smelled from this house so far and I'm excited to keep sampling them!

To my nose, this is a blue sapphire type fragrance with great performance. It is NOT a clone bu any means and leans fresher than blue sapphire with a stronger lemon note that bodes well for the warmer months. I love this and can’t beat it for the price. Where is the hype for this bad boy?!

You're not going to sneak up on anyone wearing this one! Wow ... projects like a lighthouse, in a really good way! Smells like a person who's used to being in charge. Confident, and maybe just a little arrogant. In no way shy. This is really good stuff!

Beautiful unisex aromatic fragrance. The blending is amazing. The dance of sweetness of geranium with contrasting salty-animalic-ambergris & patchouli provides an amazing symphony. Very pleasant and for the mature and discerning. Shukran Habibi!

I wouldn't be able to describe how that smells. It's the first time I smell something like this. To me it has a blood orange smell weirdly enough. I really like it.

I love it. Cooler weather and evenings out. I get the spicy, woody and aromatic scent profile. Well blended. Leans masculine. It seems unique at least to me.

I had to really take my time to write up a review about this perfume because I needed time to understand this perfume, the notes provided in Fragrantica seems to be incomplete IMO because its so complex and I believe there are notes that are not listed. This perfume is a hidden power house and its one of the most loudest perfume I have in my collection, this thing projects and projects. The notes that listed here are correct however I do get additional incense and slight vanillic touches in the dry-down. The opening mentions lemon but I get lemon in the heart notes for some reason and the main smell initially that I get is something liquorice which might be the combination of star anise and clove but I also get hints of tobacco, like the tobacco used in tom ford tobacco vanille, but when this perfume comes in its heart and dry-down its not as loud as it initially was but still projects nicely. In the mid - dry-down stages of the perfume you get a lot of geranium and lemon along with incense, slight sharp pachouli and very faint vanilla. This is a nice beautiful fragrance and both men and woman can wear it very under rated and not many youtubers talk about it and I am glad I have this.

Not the best from this house for myself. I find I can easily wear masculine leaning scents, but this is a little too pure masculine for my nose and reminds me of Gillette shaving foam. It's a very fresh sort of shower/sporty scent for a man and easily wearable daily on any occasion. I could see this being someone's staple signature scent quite easily. The clove and spice notes (Saffron? Not listed) are dry and pungent, then the geranium, which is on the more bitter side, shows up with the scent of the leaves being rubbed from the plants. This is all underpinned by a leather/suede note and a slightly soapy wood base. A nice fresh scent that makes me picture aquamarine blue in my minds eye when I sniff it. This just isn't one for myself.

Make sure you sample first. It's for trained noses, that have enough delightful sweets in their collections and crave for something different. I guess mature vibes associations are because it's lacking sweetness plus the geranium gives rose impressions. It's like a high-pitched voice with metallic sharpness for the first hour and after that gets softer, smoother, deeper. A bit masculine but it's bold and remarkable anyway.

The opening is potent. Also, I am not a fan of the opening. After the first 30 seconds or so, it settles and is very nice. Long lasting. Strong performance. Leather. Although that isn't listed as a key note. My wife says its just like smelling leather that has been recently conditioned. I say leather rubbed with dirt and patchouli. Besides the opening, this rocks. Promising. Looks like it is going on my want list.

Cloves, geranium and soft patchouli. Very green and unique. Nothing You ever smelled. Spring scent matching to fresh grass and trees notes. Closest to You or someone like You by Etat Libre if You by would remove mint. Interesting one.

To my nose, it has a very clear saffron/suede note (not listed). Reminds me of Room Ten Fifteen 1015, which is softer (and cheaper) to my liking. Get your nose on it

Boadicea Blue Sapphire with a very slight twist I can’t finger! Look no further if you are looking for a blue sapphire style fragrance!

Designer version of blue sapphire

Atypical scent with a typical, mild patchouli opening. More pleasant than most strong patchouli scents, at least. Doesn’t compare to Electimuss’ patchouli signatures. Particularly Patchouli Of The Underworld, which is awesome. There’s a lot going on here. This is strong. As it evolves on my skin, the patchouli profile sinks into the undertone and a nice, ripe lemon comes out. And a very particular, uncommon geranium which I assume is mixed with star anise. Perfectly spiced. This stuff is pungent. Unique. Niche. Mature. Barely wearable. An acquired taste. A very particular scent based on one or two outstanding notes. Animal piss/poop. Electimuss.

Spicy woody scent. The smell of fresh lacquer with the roughness of unfinished wood, sorta. As if I'm polishing my dining room table with Lemon Pledge and whoops, my arm bonked the nearby spice rack and spilled a bunch of star anise + cloves all over. (There's got to be a better way!) Coarsely textured, with an almost camphorous overtone. The patchouli adds a little sweetness and earthiness. Moderately strong projection for 3-4hr, longevity 10-12hr.

This is okay, definitely not for everyone. The lemon, geranium, patchouli and star anise are all very present to my nose. They come together to create a sharp, somewhat piney aromatic scent. For that reason, if you’re a teen or a young adult, I wouldn’t recommend this to you (still try it anyways). I don’t love this, but I also don’t hate it. Not the kind of scent I would wear out nonetheless.

While still leaning more feminine than unisex my notes on this one are more positive than others from this house. initially the smell comes across to me as a feminine version of Hermes' H24 with its slight metallic smell. after a 2.5 hour dry down it gets better. I pick up less metal with a light powdery feminine smell coupled with aquatic notes that come across very clean.

I get a lot of geranium from this. Smells very nichey/Indy house perfume. It reminds me of one of the Gallagher fragrances. But not sure which one. Not a blind buy to be sure. Seems to have a very powerful projection. In the far dry down, like after 2 hours, it is actually quite pleasant, but that's a long time to wait tbh.

Nice citrusy opening with a touch of dry spices. However, in a couple of minutes it becomes a heavier patchouli scent with earthy and slightly salty undertones. It has a bit of cooling effect due to geranium and ambergris. It’s nice, but not my cup of tea. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

This is an certified beast mode fragrance. The smell is pretty sharp and strong I would say ages 40 and above might like this fragrance. This is of very good quality and niche smelling, but you have to like spicy and sharp smells to like this.

If you would like to smell like a high end leather sofa, then this is a good choice. It's also very lemon-y. Interesting but not a crowd pleaser. I personally find it nauseating.

استر الکتیموس . استر به معنی خدای باد تعریف شده تو کانسپت این عطر بادهایی که از آفریقا به سمت اروپا میوزه. کانسپت مسخره ایه.چرا باید یک عطر با این کانسپت بوی غالب پچولی بده ؟ پچولی نه ربطی به آفریقا داره نه اروپا .. استر به معنای واقعی کلمه عطریست پریشون و دیوانه انفجاری غیر قابل کنترل از بوی ژرانیوم داره که تمومی نداره . بنظر من شخصا تحمل این حجم از بو و قدرت پراکنش و فرارییت این نت برای هرکسی آسون نیست ‌. حداقل نیم ساعت باید بهش زمان داد تا طغییان بوی ژرانیوم کمی فروکش کنه . اما پشت این پرده پر هیاهو از بوی ژارنیوم نمایشی از سبک ارینتال پنهانه . ارینتال به سبکی عربی کلا استر حس و حال عربی طور داره . تو قلب عطر بوی لیمو. رز . عود . اوکموس . پچولی . زعفران .احساس میشه . ولی اینجا رز نیست . شمعدونی تو پروفایل بویاییش وجه اشتراکی با رز داره در واقع سیستم بویایی کد های اشتباه رو بصورت سیگنال به مغز میده . حس ارینتال اسپایسی هم به این خطا کمک می‌کنه ولی هر آنچه که هست .استر تو کلاس بویایی ارینتال اسپایسی فرمول شده استارت عطر وحشتناک تند و تیز و آزار دهندست این شدید ترین حالت ژرانیومی بود که تا امروز شناختم . قلب عطر کاملا حس و حال عطرهای عربی به خودش میگیره که کاملا آشناست و تکراری . ولی نه حس چیپی داره نه حس و حال حرمی هرچی به سمت درای داون پیش می‌ره پچولی نمودش بیشتر میشه و چیزی که آشکارا احساس میشه بوی اوکموسه که تو ترکیبات اشاره ای بهش نشده . انقد این حس اوکموس ملموسه که من بارها بیاد بوی آرامیس افتادم . اوکموس + رز + پچولی شالوده بوی آرامیس ها هست . استر هم فضایی دور از این موضوع نداره .حداقل اینکه هرچی به سمت درای داون می‌ره این آکورد بیشتر احساس میشه . در نهایت و در ایستگاه پایانی بازی نت ها اون چیزی که باقی میمونه یک آکورد ارینتال با حسی عربی عودی هست که ژرانیوم و پچولی نقش پررنگی درش ایفا میکنند . عطر رایحه خیلی شیک و جذابی داره مشروط براینکه از تم روایح عربی لذت ببرید . کیفیت عطر خیلی عالیه همه چه با وضوح بالا بنمایش درمیاد و واقع گرا پرفرمنس عطر عالیه .چند ساعت اول واقعا کلافه کننده قدرتمنده زیبا ترین نقطه این عطر ارامشش هست که بعد چند ساعت رخ میده . بوی مردونه و شیک پچولی می‌تونه جادو کنه تا ساعتها و نماینده بوی یک جنتلمن باشه .

Auster is a fragrance that opens with an intriguing yet awkward sweetness (that might be coming from florals or raw materials). It's tough to pinpoint the opening to just one particular note, but fruits, amber, and geranium are detectable. The fragrance has many transitions as you get a sweetness from this fragrance, which at times is almost bubble gum-like. During this transition, you get fruity aspects, which start playing peekaboo with a surreal animal-like amber note. The smell is raw, resinous, and natural. As the fragrance dries down, you get Intune with a multifaceted perfume, which can smell good or bad depending on the distance at which it is sensed. In the dry down the scent also leaves a powdery trail, which is detectable. Auster performs well as it projects and has a long life on the skin for 9 hours. Auster requires you to pay close attention to its subtleties as it may develop over the wear.

I tried Auster by Electimuss, and I have to be honest, this one immediately reminded me of my Aunt Gertrude. It has that unmistakable vintage perfume character. Powdery, slightly sharp, and very reminiscent of the kind of scent you’d associate with an older generation. The image that came to mind was an older lady wearing aviator glasses, smoking Virginia Slims, and walking through a cloud of perfume. My wife smelled it as well and had the exact same reaction, it felt more like a classic “old lady” perfume than something modern. No disrespect intended at all. Fragrance is subjective, and I’m sure some people enjoy that vintage character. It’s just not something I can personally see myself wearing. But hey... now come give your Aunt Gertrude a kiss. Scent: 3/10 | Longevity: 8/10 | Projection: 7/10 | Overall: 3/10

This is absolutely not identical to blue saphire the main difference being auster having star anise and blue saphire having saffron with blue saphire having no star anise and auster having no saffron. The dry down is very different also I get why people think they are similar but they are far from being identical been testing them both for a week now. Blue saphire has more of the lemon feel during the life of the fragrance auster goes straight to the middle and base notes pretty quickly. I would rather own blue saphire but the price is nothing more than greed. Al qurashi blend would be the more sensible option if you want that type of scent. Auster is a good fragrance and priced pretty much spot on though so yes it actually is worth a purchase !

Opens with potent cloves. The lemon comes in slightly later and makes the cloves smell slightly citric. The geranium also presents itself a minute into spraying. The base notes are very distant in the opening and can only be detected up close and not in the air. The dry down is a fresh geranium. The lemon and clove are still there but distant. I don't get much patchouli or woodiness at all. The dry down is not spicy at all. I haven't smelled anything like this in fragrance, and I really like this as a floral fragrance

Not sure what the hype is about. This fragrance was disgusting at first sniff and SURELY not a safe crowd pleaser. Ordered it with a lot of positive expectations only to be very disappointed. It’s very ethnic (especially Middle Eastern/Indian), so in those countries, this scent might be way more appealing and considered beautiful. But where I’m from, this is not a delightful smell. Def do not blind buy this, and get a sample if the notes look appealing to you because you will either love or hate this scent.

Auster is a fantastic scent, but the comparisons to Blue Sapphire are unfair. The lemon blast in the top note is similar, but the fragrances immediately diverge from there. I own full bottles of both and do not view them as substitutes for each other. Auster is great for daily wear and is lighter and fresher. Blue Sapphire is heavier, denser, smoother and lasts longer. Auster has a playful vibe and BS has regal vibe.

Straight up headache in a bottle. I do not like most of the fragrances from this brand, I am yet to try the newer releases and Imperium. From what I have tested multiple times, just doesn't seem like I enjoy the underlying DNA. CP generally produces some great quality scents, I'm not sure what the brief was for these. Tried way to hard to be luxurious.

I will need to test further, but my initial impression is warm spice and licorice. It could give me a suffocated feeling if i wore it in the wrong conditions. Not office friendly, more for leisure, vacations, parties, outdoor activities. I would not put this on and get into a car with someone unless the car was a convertible, then it would be perfect!

This is nice. Very spicy and sensual scent, with anise, clove, geranium and a soft ambery drydown. It has some musk too. It feels retro in the best possible way. The patchouli here is clean and fresh. I don't know if I would be able to wear it, it is a bit too spicy in the first hour, but it is a nice scent. I love the drydown. Very good.

Beast mode old school scent. Fantastic longevity and projection. Both fresh and warm, can be worn at any time. Just be careful so you won't choke the entire room. @samoo is right, it really does smell like a dated masculine DNA from Chanel. I still think it's great, very elegant, and i like it. Just don't expect a compliment magnet.

Wet oud without the oud. Prominent geranium+patch combo, very aromatic. This is like oud wood and Alexandria II having fun together. There is a wet note that I find lingering in most Montales. I like it, a good offering from the firm. Contemporary arabesque vibe, created in the UK with a French flair that draws on the Italian style.
