Rhodanthe

I have the 100 ml bottle of this perfume. It is a perfume of very high intensity and a duration that exceeds 14 hours on the skin. Specifying a little more about that perfume, it is an extract of perfume with putting three times is enough so that the intensity and projection are very high, on skin lasts up to 14 hours and if you want to remove the perfume background completely you have to take a shower If the perfume falls on clothes it will last much longer. I think it is for cool nights or fall winter. It is clear that this perfume plays with the aromas of rose and wood, but it is not only in those notes. The rose is initially accompanied by fruity tones of raspberry, citrus and saffron, which give it juiciness. When the time passes and the ciricos evaporate, our nose reaches a rose with floral and spicy nuances, and a background of woods. It is undoubtedly that type of perfume that is loaded with aromas and that itself can cause different sensations depending on the people. The background is clearly woody, being a set of different woods and light floral tones. Is it Unisex? When he got home the tried-out ones between my husband and me, we can feel that he has a certain inclination towards the masculine due to its high amount of wood. But it is true that in this world of perfumes a woman can feel very elegant with these shades of woody rose. Eccentric? I do not think it can be said exactly eccentric because it has aromas that we all know well, only if you have to point out that you have to like the set of pink aroma more woods and saffron, in a high tonality. Apart from that I think that knowing the type of aromas that make it up is easy to identify.

First Sniff and i did not like it att all, reminded me off cheaper perfume Ive smellt like Mahiir from lataffa, so i ignored it a few days, then in boredom i sprayd on skin, and voila! It smells like a more rich expensive deeper take on the old rose oud combo...you guys know what im talking about. And what makes this a bit more special imo is the tee note, candy jammy rose and a bitter black tea note against the oud works very well. I would say this is a tad more masculine then say portrait off a lady and new York by fgdb, violet in the mid keeps it interesting and Woody base still hand in hand w that jammy rose, i dont get that much fruit.. mostly a damp note that reminds me off the raspberry cloroine (not in a bad way) that is in tuscan leather etc Opening can scare away some ppl, but the oud here is backed upp and enforced by oud boosting ingridients so you get a very subtle true oud note, safe for beginers. Higher end Quality for the price, so im impressed by this one, even iff it is a old boring concept off oud/rose it dabbels a bit w more modern combos.

Very very very nice. The first whiff is to die for. Then it shifts into ever so slightly medicinal (heard its the oud), then its like you just opened the spice cabinet, then next to it the tea cabinet, smelling dark tea leaves, it is sweet, flowery, warm, spicy, fruity, powdery, slightly smokey, this is so good. Oud is noticeable but its balanced. Complex and interesting, your mind wants to figure it out. I imagine a high end hotel bar, dark, candle lit, elegant setting, drinks, crystal glasses, a look, a smile.. It is a strong fragrance but still is delicate. For my nose I would prefer it on a woman, as its sweet. As it changes, it gets warmer, less strong and more smokey. It calms down.. I believe I can smell oud, patchouli?, amber, musk and vanilla. Beautiful fragrance, I really enjoyed trying it out. Honestly, I want to bathe in this... (would be a very expensive affair).

Easily my fav from the house and my second favourite rose oud after Oud Ispahan... A bright red and fragrant rose, misted with rose water... the fruity notes give the rose dimension and depth. The sweetness not overplayed. The black tea note is very distinct and adds an element of aridity almost like the feel of a good dry wine in the mouth. A definite pucker to the nose-buds. Spices are gentle and the patchouli is sheer but not that annoyingly clean and characterless type that’s in Gris Dior - there are earthy and chocolatey nuances. As she dries down the woodiness becomes more apparent but the rose never leaves. The oud appears woody to my nose and it’s so clean it’s almost polished. Such a lovely scent.

As a lover of tea notes I really enjoy Rhodanthe, its has this amazing entry of citrus and flowers, I also get reminded of bleach at the same time most likely the medicinal quality of the oud . It's potent and dense and will definitely last. the rose is beautifully done. For me it is worth a full bottle at some point but there are others that come before it. 8/10 - easy wear perfectly unisex fresh rose oud with a touch of smoke. - C44

I'm a rose lover and this is just perfect. Beautiful natural rose with slight oud and raspberry. It's perfectly balanced between a warm & a fresh scent that could be worn all year round except hot summer days (then you'll have to go light on the trigger). It's a very comforting scent that won't break your bank. £200 for 100ml is easily worth it for this underrated beautiful scent. 10/10 one of my all time favourites. Perfectly unisex.

On my skin this is an intoxicatingly sweet, fruity, rose fragrance. It's so loud that one spray in the air upstairs was picked up by somebody downstairs in my house. The longevity for me isn't amazing but the sillage is. A great frag overall for colder weather. I will be spraying sparingly though as its beastly.

The notes are very representing of the fragrance. It's a fruity version of a classic rose + oud + saffron fragrance. It's very well crafted, it's probably one of the best rose + oud fragrance I've tried where the oud is the main player. It's very potent, but not obnoxiously loud. For the price it's very good.

This is a very wearable masculine rose everybody says it smells like portrait of a lady but it doesn't is missing the raspberry if you smell them side by side you can tell a difference dry down is different also this is not a clone or inspired by so don't buy it if you think you're getting a clone

Very nice, beautiful fragrance. The rose is the main player but the Oud, musks, patchouli, and saffron give it leathery animalic undertones pushing it towards masculine yet still unisex. Potent and long lasting. Reminds me of Ombré Nomad/Tuscan Leather with a heavy dose of rose.

Playful jammy rose, with hints of spice, black tea, vanilla and plenty of oud. Interesting fragrance, I would say it is feminine. Not your typical /oriental rose fragrance. Reminds me the smell of a candle called: Sunny Daydream (Yankee Candle).

Another amazing scent by the house. This reminds me of Dasman with the sticky sweetness holding the oud and rose together. I will be enjoying this in regular rotation during the rest of Winter.

This one felt like dejavu for me. I've smelt it, or close to it, before but I'm unsure where. I can certainly place some of the notes and stages as being the same/similar to a few of the other oud-rose perfumes coming from this house. This is a perfectly performing Oud-Rose genre, where the oud is exaggerated by the woods and spices, and the rose is exhalted by the fruits and florals. In time it becomes a strong, bordering on purposefully overbrewed, black tea, which is a deep, dark amber in colour, and perfumed with romantic bulgarian rose. This fragrance is a gracefully observed dance between oud, rose and tea aspects without it ever taking a single step out of time in their performance. The dance goes on and on... this one lasts a long time.

A loud medley of fruit & spice in the opening. Candied raspberry and tart citruses are reined in by a sweet watery pear, pocked by earthy cloves and pepper. Infused with a soft rose throughout, it gets more woody as it dries down. Mostly cedar, with faint hints of smoky amber and patchouli. Moderately soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr. **4/5** Another rose-oud-saffron scent on paper, but they're minor players here covered by a veneer of bright, fresh fruits.

A lovely floral fragrance with delicate citrusy notes (lemon and bergamot), cloves are not prominent. Amber wood and vanilla give the finishing touch...only just. A tad too sweet for me. Well fomulated but not my favourite.

It’s a fresh type of Oriental fragrance with lots of saffron and sweet airy rose notes. It also has a dry woody aspect, but it’s nicely covered with fresh spices. Soft rosy baby powder sort of scent. Smells nice and inoffensive but not my type of scent. Scent itself is soft but it has good sillage. The oud was pretty strong at first but really faded to the background. I get no fruity or spicy. Just rosy baby powder.

No question for me that this is a feminine scent. Initially it smells sweet, clean, and floral. After 2.5 hour dry down it gets a little more interesting maintaining the floral and clean smells but adding a booziness to it and staying solidly feminine.

This one was a scrubber for me, hard pass. Bittersweet, fruity, rosy. I had high hopes from when I first sprayed this on my wrist, but the drydown has me disappointed. The rose is so old lady-esque to my nose, I can’t stand it personally.
