Initial impressions from sample: This reminds me of Acqua di Parma Colonia Ambra. It's like a mix of soapiness, ambergris (i.e. think of the smell of dried paint with toned down intensity) and rosewood...maybe some white musk thrown in for good measure in the drydown also. The initial blast is a little different in that it brings an aggressive spiciness from the cloves and slight animalism (VERY SLIGHT)...maybe that's the "oud". This doesn't last long at all though...maybe 15min at most...the rest of the scent is pretty linear and is all about the lily of the valley (responsible for the soapy/floral vibe), rosewood, ambergris and white musk. This is a dead-centre unisex scent in my eyes...doesn't really lean either way as it's not a prototypical "feminine" or "masculine" scent. I must admit...I do like it...it has a mix of notes that are not usually combined and thus it gives off a unique smell...I'm leaning towards a full bottle in my future.

A captivating and unusual fragrance, Silvanus showcases a stunning Lily-of-the-Valley accord and lets all of its glorious facets shine throughout its entire duration. It opens with aromatic sweet and warm clove swirling around a slightly medicinal oud, the lotv dominates the drydown and is at times tart and vibrantly green, at times sparkling aldehydic soapy and later creamy white and floral, its balanced by sweet smooth rosewood and sandalwood, and complimented by leathery saffron, foamy musk and an aromatic animalic ambergris. An alluring nose tingling concoction in the best way possible! Perfectly unisex perhaps leaning slightly masculine, it has excellent longevity and good projection and is very versatile but most suitable for office and formal events. Highly recommended for lovers of interesting and textured floral woody musks.

Very unique, very well done. Big fan. Alot of reviews say "not complex" or "basic, not really special" but if you have a solid blend, it doesn't need to progress or change. This is soapy, floral, musky, woody. It's definitely unisex, leaning fem (wrong! Idc, il still wear it anyday of the week! It's very sharp, very well blended. You can't pinpoint notes, and anybody smelling this on you will NOT be able to guess!!! Response to maturation, multiple uses, this stuff is blind buy worthy for a guy. It's the faintest musky, soapy, floral almost green soapy scent that just smells so damn good. This is a top 5 all time for me for summer. Lasts for DAYS on clothes, and a solid 12 hours on skin!

Got me a bottle last week. This is a dry, clean musk scent with flora and some woodiness. Probably suitable for cooler weather and does not really last out in the heat and humidity. So far I've owned 3 Electimuss and I'll say I'm kinda disappointed with their Longetivity and projectivity. They become skin scent pretty fast in our warm humid weather here. It doesn't last beyond 2-4 hours literally. Imperium is like that. This Silvanus too. I'm not sure if mancerating it helps. If u want to look at something better and in a similar ballpark but more aromatic and not so dry u can look at Mfk Oud Silk Mood

3.8... yall ARE TRIPPING. this is a masterpiece. One of the safest, strongest, best scents available. This is for a woman, that's 25 and up that kicks ass or is an office type woman. Taken seriously, but still human. Or a man that wants to run around the world and not stay too long, but make a fresh and slightly sensual approach. The note break down is wild. The top notes are VERY fleeting, and only introduce you to the scent. The main wear is white florals, woody base with a TOUCH of soap. This is so fresh, floral, softy woody. It's a masterpiece...

Masterpiece-level perfumery, to me. This invokes the prettier aspects of nature. Soft white florals, light woodiness, spice from the clove which is softened by the white musks. I was fortunate enough to be able to sample this at a boutique, and knew immediately that I HAD to have it in my collection. I must have sampled 100 fragrances that day, all niche, but this one stood out above all the rest. Perfectly unisex, perfectly suitable for all seasons and occasions.

Very good, bought a bottle. I like this house. Favorites are Gladiator Oud, Puritas, and Black Caviar. Have bottles of listed. Silvanus is more fresh and higher octave.

Soft Musk, smooth LOTV and Ambergris in the background. Smells like clean linen. Awesome for summers

This is a barbershop scent if I've ever smelled one and it's the best

This fragrance is an oriental aromatic woody fragrance featuring the notes of Oud, Saffron and cloves at the top, Sandalwood, Cedar, Rosewood and Lily of the Valley for the heart, a soft ambergris and musk for the base. The scent is quite linear, with an excellent longevity, a great projection and sillage. The Oud in it is quite medicinal with the cloves combo and to me this fragrance can be easily worn for both summer and winter seasons thanks to the ambergris note which softened the composition and gives a good equilibrium to the blending. Overall this is a beautiful unisex fragrance in a gorgeous presentation, the scent is easy to wear with an excellent performance. I can’t wait to dive in the entire collection to see the other gems this brand has to offer. Thumbs up! Nose happy

Opening smells like someone dropped too much grainy vodka into a cup of sprite. Reminds me of Bouroj Spiritus. Develops into a mild clove, sandalwood, musk, dry oud and more importantly a really precise lily of the valley note. Nice and fresh. Lively. I’d love to see a reformulation with different oud; wet wood, and a sweeter musk accord. This scent needs to be less dry! Anyway, here’s something special from the house of Electimuss.

A potent musky, lily-of-the-valley bomb with bits of sweetness and underlying woods. Fresh 'n' soapy clean but almost searingly bright, as if the alcohol never quite burns off or it's stuffed with aldehydes. Not dissimilar to that neutral, clean musky smell of "unscented" laundry products where they simply combine fragrances into a sort of null scent. Moderate projection for 3-4hr, longevity 8-10hr.

I am not sure exactly how to describe this one... it starts off clean, aquatic, and green with the smells of the sun baking the sand at a beach. After a 2.5 hour dry down it keeps that beachy sand and surf smell along with sea spray and a very fresh and clean appeal.

Pretty good. It smells like what you'd expect : lily of the valley, woods and musks. Would work in any situation in every season. Signature worthy. Performance is above average.

A very soft, sweet, musky fragrance that leans fem, but enjoyable for a man as well depending on someone’s taste. The lily-of-the-valley and musk are definitely the front-facing, heavy-hitter notes in Silvanus. The saffron here is almost a bit metallic, and I detect some amber, but not very much. I don’t get much of the oud, sandalwood, cloves or any of the other listed notes. I personally don’t think this scent suits me, it’s a bit too feminine leaning and screechy in the drydown for me to wear more. But definitely give this a try for yourself if you like musky white florals.

Zesty, dry and earthy scent with slightly minty opening. It’s fresh, but at the same time has a darker and somewhat animalic base. It’s an unusual combination of notes that smells rather vintage for me. It was definitely inspired by classical chypre scents. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

It always comes as a surprise, my first Electimuss, means "to choose the best", for on my purchase there was a special offering... like Black Caviar by Marco Genovese, no database on the perfumer page here. Your old-fashioned lily-of-the-valley in time machine attends a bacchanalia in a style of today's Maison Francis Kurkdjian, remember the last time you smelt Oud Cashmere Mood or Oud Velvet? Yes, the new printed bills smell. Or the chemistry MFK Oud produces. Since you know muguet plays the role in Aqua Universalis then it's more closer to Silvanus, the Roman god of the countryside, similar in character to Faunus, taste still goes to MFK. This is an odd one to me, the opening smells a bit synthetic. It’s musky and there’s something slightly ‘fresh’ about it. Although there are interesting woody notes here, these are totally overshadowed by a pungent ingredient I can’t identify. This is my perception of the fragrance, I would suggest you try it and decide for yourself. What is ugly to some may be beautiful to others and vice versa. This is a pass for me.

The lily of the valley takes over the whole scent for me. Maybe I'm sensitive to the note because I get literally nothing else when I smell this. I feel like I can't give an objective review considering I can only smell one part of it.

This is very nice, a fresh Lily of the Valley scent with mild spicy and woody undertones. It feels light and airy, elegant and clean but not boring. I would like to have a full bottle.

Very strong, lily of the valley in the foreground, masculine leaning and on the fresh side. To me it smells like a bad air freshener and it's a scrubber. Try before you buy.
