Elemis Eau de Parfum

OMG! What a wonderfully fresh wood fragrance. So light it reminds me of driftwood. Guaiac note, which I so love, is here in abundance but as light as a twig yet close to the skin. Does has a bit of a pencil shaving smell to it at first but almost immediately begins to change within a few minutes of applying bringing the fresh marine note with a kiss of patchouli close on its heels. I have the EDP but would not purchase the EDT as I believe it would be too light. Fragrance is light enough. The drydown is tantalizing, the sweetness of amber appears to be evident but is not listed, oakmoss must be developing here. Love the drydown. Keeper for me.

I have recently worn this and had such a different reaction to my initial review that I had to comment. I almost want to say WTH! Why has this changed on me? Now it smells plasticky and just wrong. I can hardly stand it anymore. It's almost as if my delightful marine accord has been replaced with saki or (dare I say it) Everclear. Its been only a little over a year since my initial review but somehow it has changed. truffles! I now understand you review :C Glad I only have a mini.

Perfect for summer.It smells of cucumber and honeydew melon,cool and refreshing. Only critisism is that it has poor lasting power.If you have the opportunity to respray frequently and you don't mind using it up( it's not wildly expensive after all)then it's great as a summertime freshener.

Just tried this on some card earlier today, and it's prety good. Nothing out of the ordinary, pretty safe 7/10. I'm a man.

I couldn't get enough of it at first! It's quite unusual and difficult to describe. It's marine, it's citrus and it's light woody and at the same time it's also quite peppery too. Perhaps a love/hate kind of fragrance.

Woody notes? Where are they then?! I'm sorry but this is just HORRIBLE! Aftershave/horrid modern synthetic smell. Not my kind of thing at all. Scrubber! (Review is for EDP)
