Banabread

Was so excited when I first smelled this because there was actual banana!!! I was severely disappointed by BTSO's Nanatopia, which just kind of smells like a vaguely tropical-ish rum cocktail to me. The first sniff I got spot-on chocolate chip banana muffin, with a hint of that rum smell still (not sure why). That sharp edge was wayyy less overpowering than Nanatopia, so it didn't give me a headache. The banana does kind of fade quickly, but it doesn't disappear. It just fades out into this tropical-sweet kind of scent, like you're baking oatmeal cookies on the beach. It does also last a surprisingly long time!! 10/10 for me

Starts off very banana-baked good-esque. Banana slowly fades into a sugar cinnamon bakery scent. Reminds me a lot of a sugar cinnamon pretzel! Very nice, will probably buy a full bottle in the future. Lasting power isn’t crazy but more than a few hours

Best banana fragrance I’ve tried bought a full bottle and love it , great performance and sillage too! Shouldn’t have this low rating as it’s a new fragrance ! Definitely a banana fragrance that deserves to go viral

Fragrantica is full of people who rate scents without ever smelling them, so don’t trust the rating alone! Try it for yourself. Banabread smells as though you’ve prepared a bowl of gooey banana dough and your swirling chocolate chips and cinnamon into it. As it dries down, you get the scent of the banana bread, or baked goods, fresh out of the oven. There’s a slight boozy quality to it. As though you’ve lightly glazed the banana bread with some Caribbean rum. It’s delicious, sweet, comforting and cosy. It also has a refreshing quality about it. Very unique. For me this was a love at first sniff. I have come back to this scent many times in the last year, trying to decide if it’s full bottle worthy. I still love this but find the performance poor, especially for an extrait, which is what stops me from buying it. I’d love to see this reformulated and made stronger. If Banana or baked goods are notes you enjoy, I’d definitely say give it a try.

This is funny and a bit synthetic, but I kind of like it! It does really have this banana note that mostly smells like banana gummies or banana milkshake, but it’s still pretty nice and likable!

Super sweet banana bread with a hint of chocolate swirl. Weak projection and just over 3 hours of longevity on my skin. Not for me.

Banana hair conditioner. Ok..ok...I see... this is somewhat unique in the world of niche gourmands I guess? Banana bread is not a gourmand in the literal sense but smells like banana-scented drugstore hair products. Especially 2-3 minutes after the opening....At first spray I get a blast of what I assume is banana candy, then 'Banabread' quickly becomes more shampoo/hair product-like (sugar/vanilla) and in 15 mins I can smell synthetic milk chocolate coming through. That's pretty much it. It honestly smells like a $15 hair conditioner I used to import from Japan, now I need to go find it again. Hard pass. Also what is that packaging for the asking price, bruh.

**** me, had to do a follow up. Less than 40 minutes in and this has turned into pure ammonia with a dash of acetone. 100% straight up urinal abomination. Can be used as a bio-weapon.
