Ellie Saab Le Parfum L'Edition Argent

L'Edition Argent has the same orange blossom-honey DNA of the original Elie Saab Le Parfum, but with a deeper, woodsier base. You could say the cedar has been turned up, the honey toned down in this one. I own 5 of Francis Kurkdjian's creations for the Elie Saab brand, and I've found each of them to have a warm sweetness. (Resort Edition 2017 was almost syrupy!) Argent opens with a burst of white florals from the orange blossom and jasmine, but then the cedar and patchouli kick in with a rich, woodsy undertone. They lend this one a crispness I've felt the others were missing. Eventually, it settles into the honey and rose, creating an overall well-rounded fragrance. So far, this one is the most balanced of the line. Probably my favorite, so far. A nice, cozy cuddle-under-a-blanket scent. Also a suitable everyday scent, especially in cooler weather. Glad I was finally able to hunt it down.

This is a beautiful, golden gem of a fragrance- with orange blossoms, honey, and just the right amount of patchouli- Usually, I can't abide patchouli, but this one is either of a higher quality than most, or just exquisitely blended- Not picking up the rose, but that's okay with me... Reminds me of Serge Lutens' Fleurs d'Oranger, without the cumin... P>S> Does anyone know if this is the same fragrance as the original- looks like the notes are identical...

Very beautiful fragrance that opens with perfectly balanced orange blossom and jasmine. I’m not smelling much patchouli on me, but that’s ok, even if I did I don’t complain about patchouli. Quite expensive, like most perfumes these days. Great blind buy for me and I have the big a$$ bottle to play with. Happy days.

It is just Elie Saab le parfum in a new bottle with more expensive price.I like this smell but this similar editions are very disappointing همان الیه صعب له پغفوم در شیشه ای جدید با اسمی جدید و قیمت گران تر

Elie Saab Le Parfum L'Edition Argent isn't totally different from the original Le Parfum, however it is much heavier in regards to the patchouli and rose accords on my skin. My fiance and I are looking to get married during the Autumn season. The weather is still sunny up until the end of April where we live, however there is the beginning of a slight chill in the air. My perfect wedding day fragrance would be both flowery and warm. The original Le Parfum is best suited to Spring with its dewy, garden-fresh blossoms, however this flanker with the heaviness of orange blossom, rose and patchouli is better suited to the cooler months. Sadly this flanker is only a limited edition with stock rapidly disappearing from the shelves. Basically you've got to get in quick before you miss out. I'm extremely lucky as I have two stores in my local area that stock quite a few bottles, so thankfully I can take an adequate amount of time to test this fragrance thoroughly before making my decision. I enjoy every aspect of this fragrance from the composition to the excellent longevity and bold sillage. In my opinion Le Parfum L'Edition Argent makes a very suitable bridal fragrance as it encompasses the softness of orange blossom and throws in a dash of red rose and patchouli to add a hint of feminine sensuality.

A huge fan of Saab and this particular fragrance drives me insane. Perhaps its the ever psychotic patchouli, although subtle in the second and middle notes is what does me in. Not usually a fan of orange blossom but after a few seconds it wears down and the jasmine comes alive and gels perfectly with a hint of honey and the super soft scent of rose. The longevity of this fragrance is everlasting in a good way! Wrap it up, I'll take it!

Love this scent. It’s classy, womanly and opulent. It can be worn anytime of year or day. I also love the red resort collection bottle. Glad I snagged it before it’s gone, since that one is getting discontinued.

I just found out that there’s a very similar to this beauty, it’s Jasmine and Honey from Swiss Arabian. It’s long lasting and affordable.
