Girl of Now

Candied Almonds with Crispy Edges in Almond Milk... Very much an almond scent, this took a bit of time to win me over, but now I do enjoy it. I get a candied almond/honey-roasted almond with crispy edges that eventually smooths out being blended into an almond milk although the candied almond remains. All the notes are there if you look for them. It's quite powerful with the patchouli-cashmeran driving things from the base. My first impression, was that it was all base, but now all the other notes are coming forward in a beautiful way.. It's a different almond from scents like Hypnotic Poison Dior (which to me leans more to almond paste/marzipan). Also great for layering, and so far I've mostly layered it with: Girl of Now + Dolce Garden Dolce & Gabbana (love this combo). Enjoy! Contrast to Cheirosa '62 Sol de Janeiro: These are different, although there's a similar sweet nuttiness. Girl of Now is a lot more powerful and has the patchouli-cashmeran in the base, although these would likely layer well (although I haven't tried them together). Contrast to Shock-in-Scent Police: These are different, although there's a similar vibe with candied almonds and patcouli. Girl of Now dries down with more creaminess. Both are strong performers, although Girl of Now is a bit stronger. Contrast to La Vie Est Belle Lancôme: These are different, although there's a very similar vibe in the base. They dry down quite differently with Girl of Now being all about the almond and turning more creamy. They're both quite powerful, but La Vie Est Belle is a bit stronger.

Wow. 7 months later I came to give it another try and It was SOOOO WORTH IT. Beautiful beautiful beaaaautttiiiifffuuuuuulllllll almond marzipan 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I freaking adore unique scents like this it keeps pulling me in to smell it over and over again like a magnet, I simply can't get enough??!!! I've seen the reviews, a bunch of people don't like it and I think it's because the fragrance is simply as what the notes show it's a very synthetic almond marzipan that's it. I think for the people didn't like it It was either not their taste or were expecting more but nope there's nothing more to it other than what the notes show but it's very very admiringly beautiful and I recommend to give it a try! I always find myself drawn to unique fragrances that leave a vivid image in my memory, if i didn't think about it again that day means it's not remarkable therefore it's just like any other fragrance BUT THIS ONE IS THE OPPOSITE AND I LIKED THAT A LOT. LIKE A LOTTTTTT. Even my mum who despises anything sweet loved this so much!! She said it smells like cake and kept praising it 🥹💞 BUT!! Be careful in storing this since my first impression of this perfume was so so bad it smelt like play doh and I didn't understand the comments who did enjoy it but now I definitely do hehe 😎 Unfortunately it was just not stored properly I think I'd prefer to be careful and make sure you never leave this out on a hot day and that is all!

I bought this perfume as a blind buy—completely without testing it first... and I’m so glad I did! The first impression I got when I smelled it was: warm, soft, yet full of character. In my opinion, the scent is balanced—about 50% gourmand, 25% floral, and 25% citrusy. But the citrus here isn’t the refreshing, zesty kind; it’s more of a sweet, fruity vibe coming from the orange blossom and pear. The pistachio and almond notes are beautifully blended. I was a bit hesitant at first, wondering, “Will it be too roasted or bitter?”—but no, not at all. The almond is creamy, smooth, and soft; it spreads over my skin like an almond cream. The pistachio isn’t like that intense pistachio ice cream kind—it’s more delicate, more refined, and gives the perfume a unique character. Thanks to its floral aspects, it also carries a feminine feel, but it’s not overwhelming. The citrusy and fruity opening gives the scent a touch of energy. On my skin, it becomes softer and creamier over time. On clothes, the orange blossom and pear stand out a bit more. Overall, I really liked this perfume. It’s neither too heavy nor too light. It’s a scent you can comfortably wear in all seasons—sweet, feminine, and sophisticated all at once.

It smells so sweet, nutty and creamy !!! It reminds me of a really luxurious hotel’s Almond Milk soap (In a very good way) ! Thanks to the Almond and Almond milk, but then, it becomes more nutty and yummy with that perfect Pistachio, and a more discreet, but pleasant Tonka Bean !!! The Mandarin and Pear are bright and sweet. The Mandarin’s more delicate and adds a citrusy side in the opening, but the Pear is really noticeable, even if more subtle than the nutty notes. The Pear is sweet, feels juicy and fresh, fruity and a bit brighter than the previously quoted notes. Then White Florals (Orange Blossom, Magnolia) are enhancing the creamy part of the fragrance, complimenting the Nutty and Sweet notes. However, I do not find the Patchouli and Cashmeran to be particularly present in the scent, they feel like they enhance the intensity and depth of the fragrance, but I can’t put my nose on them... It lasts a loooong time on skin and clothes and projects really well in terms of sillage. It’s an elegant masterpiece, I feel like a piece of art when wearing Girl Of Now. 10/10

Love don’t be shy made me hate Orange Blossom. But Girl of Now turned me into an Orange Blossom lover. She is warm, sweet, nutty, rich, and a little loud. She is ideal for fall and winter because she can cut through cold weather and she lasts forever on clothes. I know that this was very hyped when it was first released, not only is the hype deserved but she has also stood the test of time. This is a true love of mine. 10/10. For a dense and sweet combo layer the following: For body care use Jergens Almond Body Oil for a base. Then layer Girl of Now with a honey forward scent like KKW Pure Honey, Mix Bar Honey Milk, or Bath and Body Works Honeycomb. Girl of Now pairs beautifully with so many honey scents, that I am shocked there has not been a honey flanker. For a layering combo that will make you smell like a pistachio dream start with the ESO Pistachio body cream. Then drown yourself in Girl of Now and top off with Yum Pistachio Gelato 33. The result is airy and grounding at the same time.

I must say, i disagree with the review bellow mine. I do not find Girl of Now to be main stream nor generic. I have a number of ES fumes and i honestly can not say which one is better than the next. I never got to buying GoN until last week, all due to negative reviews, but now that i have it, i am smitten with it. Definitely miles away from what is being offered on Macy's counter currently. My husband agrees. Plus, not every perfume has to be "niche" in order for it to count as a valuable member of your collection. As someone with sizeable perfume collection and someone who often dips into niche category, i have to admit that niche perfumes rarely blow my socks off (with exception of BR 540 and Black Afgano). Girl of Now is a worthy addition to any collection, in my opinion.

Wow, the reviews are so rough on this one. For me, the perfume has a quality that is unbeatable for the price. But it's not only about a great price; the perfjme itself is sweet, very dense and long lasting. Exactly like Poison Girl but with a nutty touch that makes it more interesting than PG. Quality of the smell is exactly the same. Generic? Maybe but weigh much better than 99% of designer perfumes (LVEB, Black Opium, even Poison Girl). I haven't worn it much because I preffered others last winter but I am for sure going to keep it and wear this for this winter. My plan is to decrease the number of bottles but since for winter I want a rich, dense, sweet perfume, this is the winner for me in this category and i'm getting a bigger bottle. It's a love for me

Girl of Now was a firm favourite of mine. It was one of the few sweet gourmands I enjoyed. It was heavy with nuttiness and sweetness with a great longevity. I am now on my second bottle and I now understand the comments about it being synthetic. For me it’s turned more into a floral, lighter perfume. It’s lost its depth. It’s also become more work appropriate since previous bottle was a bit too sweet and heavy. I now also realise that perfume batches differ. It could matter which year they were made and the quality and accessibility of ingredients. I also notice my first bottle was made in France. The second in Italy. It’s still a lovely perfume but I am returning to Girl of Now Shine for that nutty sweet and dense perfume I enjoy more.

Girl of Now opens up sweet and creamy. Almond mixed with pistachio and tonka bean smells straight up like marzipan on my skin. It’s delicious, warm, comforting, kind of reminds me of Christmas. After some time orange blossom and citrus accords come into play, adding a little sparkling fruitiness to “marzipan”. Overall it smells super cozy and addictive. GoN a wonderful gourmand scent. Longevity is far from the best (but that’s just how my skin is, nothing ever lasts). However projection is pretty good. Someone who walked beside me could detect “the smell of freshly baked cookies”. I’d say GoN is a safe blind buy for vanilla-gourmand-sweet frag lovers. Can’t wait to get a full bottle myself💛

I bought this as a blind buy cause a friend of mine recommended it and it's now of my favourite cold weather perfumes. It smells differently everytime I put it on: first time it smelled very floral, almost vintagey. Second time I got more of a sweet almond, the third time I got a lot of tangerine and something sweet. Something about this mix and my skin gives me different results every time I wear it and all results are amazing. It's cozy, it's better suited for cold weather. This is more of a grown up sweet perfume. In a world of girlish sweet perfumes (that I also love), this is a more mature reading of sweet. Winter and Fall must have! Id reckon it might be too invasive for warm weather.

Ever found a combo that was just too goood ?? I was so close to decluttering this when I realized I couldn’t get with something in the base I suspect patchouli but then I layered it with JPG’s Scandal Le Parfum Pour Femme (the red bottle) Very happy to report this combo is so beautiful I’m so glad I held on to it.. !! The Scandal Le Parfum cuts the overwhelming patchouli note down and softens it in such a way that I love wearing girl of now, like right now. lol Their notes complement each other so well. I used to avoid making eye contact with my bottle .. I’m happy to say I’m pretty excited to wear this again.

So I own the bottle with the marking on the cap and sprayer, the original formulation. I sprayed some on my wrist at 11am cause I hadn't smelled it in some time and was thinking about wearing it for the day. I forgot and took a shower shortly after and went about my day, did the dishes, went to the gym, showered again and it's now 9:41 at night and it's still projecting off of my hand. I kid you not I just got a whif of it in the air and I decided to smell my wrist and sure enough it is still there. Like wow. If you're having longevity issues you either have the new formulation or a fake.

Started off hearing about this one from Jeremy Fragrance, got one for myself. My cousin had a whiff and fell in love. She wore it as her wedding fragrance! Talk about a butterfly effect! It's giving paco rabanne vibes for some reason but I'm sure I can't be the only one who noticed that? In a good way of course! It's a compliment getter, it's amazing for spring and summer in my opinion as it's a fairly sweet and strong fragrance. The almond is performing fab in this bottle. I've purchased this perfume more than once so far. This one is for gourmand fans out there!

Sometimes a fragrance really makes you scratch your head, I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I knew this smell, it was a regular thing in my life but could I place it? Then wham, it came to me... Disaronno! I am no alkie but being a true Scot I do enjoy a wee nip on occasion. The tonka and fruits push the almonds to the brink of the liqueur but the pistachio pulls it back in and rounds it off making it creamy, nutty and almost salty. A scent that triggers feelings of being curled up on the sofa with a disaronno and a good book cannot be a bad thing.

I discovered this fragrance after I realised pistachio and almond are notes I really enjoy and I already finished a 50 ml bottle. In my honest opinion I don’t think it’s a groundbreaking scent, or that original, but it’s sweet, gourmand yet still very wearable and crowd pleasing. I repurchased it because this is one of the few that I can still smell on me after I spray it (I get anosmic really easily) and I know if I can smell it, so can others. I only wore it on its own for fear of not suffocating others because it can be very strong if over sprayed.

Beautiful delicate scent. Suitable for spring or autumn. Maybe too heavy for summer. I smell a nutty scent and some raspberry note even if it's not listed. I smell a fruity touch that to my nose is not pear or Mandarin.... But it blends perfectly with the rest of the notes. It's a classy, young but not girly, very nice perfume. I got it for 35€ on Amazon. Great deal. I'm fan of gourmands and to me, it's a little bit gourmand but the floral notes are too strong to call it an edible perfume. Very well balanced. I really love this one!

This is the one scent I come back to time and time again. I have been repurchasing this since 2019 - I just LOVE it. It smells like vanilla and almond if they were a pair of girl best friends who smoked a lot of cigarettes. By that I mean it’s sweet and girly but the patchouli and the orange notes stop it from being too immature. It lasts forever, I’ve had jackets out that I haven’t worn for months that still smell beautiful because of this. It is appropriate for literally any occasion or season. If you haven’t got it get it NOW.

Pulled this out of my collection tonight after many months (perhaps even years) to wear tomorrow. I blind bought my bottle back in 2019, the pistachio note had me sooo curious! I had to give it a break though because it gets overwhelming pretty quick, plus the silage and longevity is crazy strong. This still smells fresh after 6 years. I realized it reminds me a little of baklava! The kind that has a hint of orange blossom water in it. Super sweet, almost cloying but perfect for a cold day.

This was a successful blind buy at a really good price. The notes appealed to me but I've often blind bought and the notes have let me down. Not this one. She is a sweet, decadent, Gourmand lovers dream. The almond and pistachio are the star of the show. But to me it's as thought there's a marshmallow accord too. I get french patisserie vibes on a sunny spring day. Feel like I've bathed in the most luxurious body oil as it clings to the skin and the longevity is great for the price.

The whole line is different but individually special. Here the almond & pistachio are the stars. If I had to picture it, the perfume notes make me feel like I'm inside a sticky Pignoli cookie covered in powdered white sugar. There is nothing girly about this except that it's sweet. This has a warm amber color. It's honey nutty amaretto vibe that's very well blended & the bottle looks amazing. This one of my everyday fragrances. It draws people in and I love that.

Blind buy success. I absolutely love this perfume. At first I get the orange blossom, magnolia and patchouli making me think it was just the run of the mill floral. Then as it dries down, the creaminess of the almond and pistachio comes through. I really enjoy this fragrance and find myself reaching for it quite a bit. It’s a nice clean girl scent without overbearing florals or citrus, and I think it would be without the nutty notes.

This is so beautifully done. It’s a strong and sweet pistachio/almond nutty scent that’s balanced so well by the orange blossom, which gives it a soft fluffiness and stops it from being overly heavy. The tonka bean is very prominent and amplifies the nuttiness and smoothness of the scent. It’s lovely and has great longevity. It does smell a little synthetic, but not in a cheap or grating way.

I have this and poison girl by dior (edp). I do not consider them to be similar at all! Poison girl is lighter. This is dense and nutty. I’ve grown to hate it honestly. I enjoyed it at first but as I’ve developed my perfume preferences, it’s the least reached for perfume I have. When I do try and give her some playing time, I end up changing my clothes to get it off of me after about 2 hrs

A delicious, sweet, complex pistachio almond. So many pistachios read as linear and one-note to me. This one actually has depth and movement thanks to the skillful addition of fruit, white flowers, and the fruity component of the almond. It’s the only pistachio perfume I reach for and the only one I need (unless you count Sol de Janeiro hair oil lol).

I really love the sweet almond smell I get from this. It's very comforting to me! Sprayed it on my clothes and it's been there for 3 days already. Mine has definitely matured over time and the colour of the juice is darker so I think that is what makes it stronger. Smells very almondy, sweet, and is definitely powdery. Really love it.

This is glorious to me. It smells like marzipan, candied almonds, maybe a little playdoh, and a much more deep, sweet, sexy, powdery Burberry Brit. Less fruit, no lime, way more almond, and some warm snuggly cashmeran to mellow it out and make it enticing, where Brit stays vibrant and sparkly. Incredible, wish I'd found it sooner.

Smells divineeee ! If I didn't had an already great amount of almond scented fragrances, I would've bought this one for sure. It's a sweet, warm nutty-almond scent and it's very much a comforting one! It's a more almond - heavy forward fragrance than pistachio, the orange blossom adds that softness alike a little cloud.

It starts slightly zesty but after a few minutes it becomes warm, cozy and nutty, you can definitely tell it’s almond... and something smoother...ah the pistachio comes through! The orange blossom and the tonka bean make it so gorgeously bright and fresh. It’s a warm but modern scent, gourmand but wearable... beautiful!

One of the very few fragrances in my collection that evokes emotions and an image I envision Lebanese aunties making loads of pistachio baklava during a festive celebration (maybe eid) dressed in their best garbs and jewelry wearing their most luxurious perfumes and all of those scents captured in this beautiful bottle

This is my go to signature scent. The compliments I receive whenever I spray it... wow... weirdly enough, the one I bought at the Greece airport seems to last longer and seems more intense than the two others I bought elsewhere including Sephora. I don’t know if something changed but anyway I love it

Oh my god, I am in love! This is what I wanted from Posion Girl. The almond overwhelms the pistachio at first, but 30 minutes in I am smelling pistachio ice cream with sugar icing on top. This is soft and loud, fluffy and heavy at the same time. I just got a bottle, but I already need a back up.

Oh my goodness is this pretty. That pistachio and almond opening makes my eyes water it’s so good. Then the pear and the orange start to shine through and it settles into a truly warm and sweet scent that is the pure definition of comfort. If you could bottle happiness it would smell like this.

For the first 30 mins, it smells like amaretto drink mixed with apple juice. Disaronno and apple juice? Well, its the feel of it - thick, syrupy, and sooo yummy. Then once it fully dries down, it smells like flakey baklava - it gets a little lighter and a bit less syrupy. Im in love.

This is a gem. It has this heavenly blend of almondy sort of marzipan-like sweetness. The combination of the citric notes with the nutty ones and the Tonka are a bomb. I have it as a 10ml since it came as a gift with Girl of Now Lovely. I will get the full bottle once this is done

The frist time I came over this perfume was at a restaurant. The waiter wore the perfume- I had to ask. Bought it immediately and have worn it for years. The way the perfume blossoms again when your body is warm is amazing. I always get compliments when I wear this. 💕

This smells really nutty and good to me, it does put me in the mind of sol 62 . I smell the almond and the pistachio. I’m late getting this but I’m so glad I did. This perfume is amazing. And it mix so good with so many different vanilla fragrances

This was love at first sniff. It made me emotional, I cried because I’ve been looking for a fragrance that felt ‘right’ for me in the one this one does. This is going to be my signature scent for sure. It’s too soon to say, but I’m in love w it.

Instant love! Sweet, nutty floral with Almond, pistachio, orange blossom & tonka! Any other notes here fade into the background. Very interesting as far as mainstream designer fragrances scents go. Good longevity, average performance. Go nuts!

Creamy fluffy almonds and pistachio , reminds me of Christmas. Longevity is decent , around 5/6 hours on skin , much longer on clothes. Yes , this scent profile is mainstream but I love this fragrance. It’s comforting, like a warm hug.

My all time fave! This scent made me fall in love with perfumes and was my signature scent for years thanks to Emmy Ever After on YouTube. She has the best taste in scents. This and poison girl will always have my heart.

This is so sweet and good and the longer it sits the better it gets. If you like sol dej 62 you will definitely like this. It’s not exact but it is in the family , I love it, it mixes so well with other fragrances.

Has an alien Goddess intense type of vibe but more syrupy with a bit more depth. I really like it. My bottles juice has turned a dark orange color. I enjoy it and am pretty happy to experiment with it

This smells very similar to Poison Girl, but without the vanilla base, and a slightly soapy freshness added. Good projection. I really like this, a very good and uplifting spring/autumn daytime scent.

Creamy, sweet and nutty fragrance. I get a lot of almond and vanilla. Not sure I would own a full bottle though since it might be too sweet at times but I think it's a wonderful perfume for winter!

The notes look so delish but it smelled just like Play doh :c idk if maybe the bottle is old or it's been sitting in a hot area but when I went to tried it it was a strong play doh scent

Such a pretty almond sweet scent. Not blind buy worthy but worthy enough to get your nose on. Don’t rush it. Just take your time with this fragrance and you’ll fall in love with it.

I've fallen in love with this perfume the moment I had it in my hands - light, distinct, the scent is quite soft but also harsh enough to stay with you all day long, and so lovely.

Girl of Now has all my favourite notes beautifully blended. Woody, nutty, orange blossom and almond, sweetness and a soft patchouli dry down. She’s pretty 😍

A great night perfume, it makes me feel classy , luxurious and sexy, just remember not to overspray , 3 pumps is enough and u smell like heaven
