Chiffon Fresh

This is a beautiful fragrance and yes, it ABSOLUTELY is a dupe for D&G Light Blue. Slight variance but I honestly the only difference on the skin is Chiffon Fresh is slightly sweeter, muskier, and smoother (due to the vanilla), where Light Blue is brighter greener, and more citrus forward especially in the opening. This is a great find. I love Chiffon Fresh. I’ll Sometimes reach for it before LB if I want a more mellow vibe.

A gorgeous fragrance, that sadly only last an hour. It’s a shame because it’s slightly feminine (I consider this unisex), fresh, citrusy and airy. But it’s only detectable by the wearer. So in that sense, as a discrete, unobtrusive scent, Chiffon Fresh is a great deal.

I picked up a bottle of this, unboxed, at Marshalls, could not resist the price and it smelled familiar. After wearing it, I realize it is really similar to an old (and discontinued) favourite, the original purple Herve Legere. I am over the moon, because I've been searching for an HL dupe for years, and while this is slightly greener and brighter, it has a really similar fresh vibe. Chiffon Fresh is a lovely casual fragrance on me, very bright citrus opening that lingers. I can see why others compare to Light Blue, definitely the citrus vibe. I find it really uplifting, great for summer, cheerful. I find it well-blended, on the dry down I detect floral, but so well blended it's difficult to tease out the notes, but as I look at the profile, I definitely pick up the green-ness of fresh jasmine. The base notes are vanilla, sandalwood and white musk - no one sticks out, there's a very slight creaminess to the base, but without knowing what the composition is, I would not even guess vanilla. I love this fragrance, have to see if I can find a back up bottle!
