Eau Papaguena

Easily and quickly became one of my favorites. It's everything I imagine Sicily by Mancera wanted to be, but failed to be. Pure elegance and refinement, softness, citrusy and for me also a note of nostalgia although I don't know which one it is. In the late 80s we lived next door to a Spanish family and every time I visited, there was this hard to describe but delicious smell in their house. I don't know if it was a perfume or the soap they used, but I smell it in the middle notes of this juice and also a little in the opening. It's a very round and quite heavy note, so so good. If anyone knows what I mean, enlighten me please! But yes, I got a 10ml of this but will definitely be buying a full size.

Just lovely. Soft and sentimental, fresh—and yet powdery—this scent will better charm you in warm weather. (Perhaps the incense or vetiver adds that powdery touch, though it’s very subtle.) I swear, I use the tiniest bit and people are constantly asking me what I’m wearing. It would make you think it wouldn’t last very long, but it actually hangs in there for a long while. Excellent in summer, highest quality ingredients, blended to perfection—a verdant masterpiece.

I love this! I bought Un jardin sur le Nil in the winter, and when it got warmer and sunnier, I noticed that this got too 'warm and edible' for me. Eau Papaguena is a brighter, more citrusy rendition of the same song. It is light, gentle, happy and sunny, but still subtle and stylish. The grapefruit and orange blossoms intertwine in a lovely way, being lifted by the juicy brightness of the bergamot and the fresh green notes. Beautiful. Definitely a French perfume.

So bright and refreshing. A drop of sunshine in a bottle! A perfectly balanced orange blossom, leaning neither too soapy nor too heady. Citrusy zest, a touch of sweetness -but never cloying!, and herbs, a discrete incense and grassy vetiver as an anchor. Amazing longevity (still noticeable on skin 8-10 hours in), moderate projection. Elegant, and at the same time inoffensive enough to be office appropiate. A winner!

This is a very intriguing scent, opens up quite sharply but soon the bergamot makes room for other scents to come forward, it's very very strong, I can still smell it on my arm 24 hours later which is quite impressive. This is not a flowery scent at all. Wish it didn't have the insane price tag. I've got a 8ml from a perfume subscription, it's nice enough that I might order it again.

bright green herby bouquet of citruses. so... fresh and mouthwatering on a hot sunny day. i enjoy the woody- vetivery drydown. so happy, uplifting and bright. i imagine drinking fresh lime-ade with a bit of herbs after a walk in a tropical botanical garden. unfortunately, just like most citruses, this doesnt last that long on me... but pretty impressive (compared to other citruses).

If you have ever had the wonderful privilege of smelling kumquat blossom: this is it. It smells very, very similar.

It smells like dryer sheets to me. Every time I move my hand and I catch a whiff, I think of—laundry. 👎🏻

A wonderful, refreshing green citrusy scent. Unisex. Would shine in summertime. It's really pleasant. I wanted to love it, but for me it leans more to a house fragrance type of scent rather than something I would wear.

Eau Papaguena, my loveee. The perfect scent on a rainy yet bright afternoon. It is citrusy, herbal and green. It feels to me like all the things I love in a fragrance is here. It's not your usual citrus cologne type scent because you can feel the earthiness and the aromatic accord hugging you warmly here. The citrus is bright and sparkling, there's a hint of mint and topped with an earthy vetiver and a fresh pine-like cypress. Seriously, what's not to love?! My sister isn't a huge fragrance fan whatsoever but she loveeeesss this one. I know everyone's different, but I bet its so difficult not to love this. It's my first introduction to the house and needless to say, I only want more of Elisire. Looking from the notes alone, I knew I'd love this but I didn't expect I would fall this hard 😍❤️

I love this fragrance. The grapefruit flower is stunningly beautiful and unique - imagine a soapy orange blossom, but instead of a cloying sweetness, it has the dryness of the grapefruit rind. It's gorgeous. Normally, I dislike Ambroxan, but it's very light and crisp in Eau Papaguena. Instead of smelling like a bucket of chemicals, the Ambroxan is delicate and enhances the other citrus and floral notes. The accords list says spicy, but it's more of a fresh herbal. Eau Papaguena is not a huge scent but lasts forever. It's very clean, fresh and the lovely. I sprayed a single spray hours ago and it's still pleasantly present. Eau Papaguena is very special. This is going to be my go-to scent this summer.

Eau Papaguena is a bright, catchy, citrusy floral. I only catch a tiny whiff here and there of the herb-y notes. It's a clean scent that warms up as it dries down. If you like green scents, this is definitely one to try. Moderate sillage, and sticks around for 7-8 hours. Great for the office, won't offend anyone, and is just straight up PRETTY.

This reminds me of a long weekend spent in Tulum Mexico. Take me to the jungle where copal incense burns into the night. Perfectly refreshing for summer. The cypress grapefruit flower combo makes this a stand out. Lasts forever and draws compliments. Just a touch bittersweet with a nice citrus tang. I bought a FB and wear it often.

stunning citrus fragrance with remarkable longevity. great overall performance and very unisex scent. must have for those who live in cloying humidity
