Al-Ghaliyah Bulgare Fleuri Et Animalique by Elixir Attar. I would rank this as the best floral composition experienced. It is named Ghaliyah and for good reasons. There is no shortage of quality materials used here. But it's not about the ingredients. It's about the result. I'll keep this review short because someone else, a Renaissance painter known as Sandro Botticelli, illustrated it for me through his most renowned piece, "Birth of Venus". This painting is the imagery I get before my eyes when I smell this perfume. If you can make an effort and immerse yourself in the painting, you'll know what it smells like. Warm, oceanic, fresh, musky, and floral. The breeze of the ocean, the water splashing the rocks, the sweaty, warm skin, and the lush floral bouquet. The garden of Eden, the nakedness of the body, the ocean's smell. The florals used here are not your typical ones. I smell Lilacs, Fressia, Gardenia, and Lilly of the Valley. Most of these are usually found in perfumes as built-up accords since they can't be extracted, but in this composition, you get the actual smell of these flowers, extracted through the traditional method of Enfleurage. Therefore, they not only smell natural but also feel softer, and gentler than if absolutes were used. There is a lot of ambergris in this providing that mineral, oceanic, and salty smell, and heaps of natural deer musk to ground everything. Ahmed decided to use a very different Oud in the base, a Walla Patta oud, which only helps to perpetuate the aquamarine and the dense, creamy facets of the perfume. The ingredients marry seamlessly to create an inseparable whole that would befit Venus, the fairest of them all. IG:@memory.of.scents

Trying to describe this one in terms of other fragrances I have or have tested seems like a fool's errand. the notes are lovely, dark, and deep (to steal Frost's words). It makes most fragrances pale by comparison with just a drop or two of this attar. This has a 4.9 rating for a reason. It is among the most amazing fragrance in my collection. It always overwhelms me when I come into the presence of great works of art. This fragrance took time, effort, and the gathering of the top ingredients from around the globe. If you think this hyperbole, then order a sample. Anyone who is not moved to near tears of joy by this one is not smelling what I smell. Wow. and Wow again. I received this less than 24 hours ago so maybe this exuberance will lesson over the next days and weeks, but I don't think this will happen. Love at first sniff.

This is the best musk/ambergris attar i ever used !!! A floral bomb- with animalic undertones that come and go- i absolutely live th longevity and the compelxtity and depth ☺️

Exquisite and narcotic. I really like the balance of the florals, ambergris, and musk notes. Very wearable and versatile imo. Got a sample as part of the micro pack.

Breathtakingly gorgeous Floriental scent that showcases a bouquet of exquisite flowers (rose, lotus, lilac, tuberose, gardenia, freesia) in a bed of natural musk, ambergris and sandalwood. The scent is an immediate transport to an exotic Persian garden with animals running around. The unisex natural scent in perfume oil style has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. A bit overdone (difficult to parse floral notes because there are so many) but still very very beautiful and evocative. Enjoy!
