Noir Amour

When I first wore NoirAmour by ÉlixirPrivé on my skin, I was utterly blown away. I had no idea what to expect—but within seconds this fragrance surprised me. It’s unique, yet somehow comfortable, familiar in a way that felt like an old memory made fresh again. The initial burst was soft and juicy—fruity yet slightly dusty—and I knew right away the pear note was at play. What caught me off guard was the coffee that followed—a note I usually dislike, but here... it worked beautifully alongside that fruitiness. At one point I swear I picked up something saffron‐like, something giving the same aura as BR540,most likely the orchid and pear combo. This is then fused with coffee: warm, sweet, and slightly leathery, The fragrance settles into the most beautiful fruity floral coffee scent for pretty much the whole wearing . I think the caramel is more of a supportive note making sure the coffee is sweet and the florals and fruits don't try outshine each other It feels clean and feminine—but in the most effortlessly chic way—so much so that I'd happily wear it as a man. Picture this: a Sunday morning, sunlight filtering in, you’re heading out to brunch with a paper in hand, sunglasses on—looking cool, turning heads... all bottled in a scent. I randomly bought this in an independent perfume shop in France. This is not a scent I would generally be draw to but it suited my skin and nothing similar to what I have in my collection so I can’t really identify what it reminds me of. It starts of initially very woody and quite masculine with hints of black tea and pear but as it settles a sweetness develops. Longevity and silage is good.
