5th Avenue Nights

It's been almost a year since I ordered a 125mil bottle of 5th avenue night with a lot of hope.I LOVE white chocolate as a perfume note.even the amount of white chocolate in fantasy isn't enough for me.I was hoping for a lot of buttery,yummy milky white chocolate in 5th avenue night and the idea of mixing it with vanilla,musk and all those lovely flowers looked like a dream for me.I was thinking of a Iris ganache with it's iris being replaced by lily,heliotrope and other flowers present in 5th avenue night's pyramid.but well,it was a HUGE dissapointment White chocolate is there but it's buried beneath tones of cheap white musk,non-sweet powdery vanilla,a non-descript blah,soapy floral accord and a touch of creamy but soulless woody notes. It opens with a lot of alcohol and chemical white musk,develops to a bland soapy-powdery floral-vanilla-musk and finally dries down to a pleasant but still too simple and too soft creamy clean scent. I like it's drydown as it has a touch of warmth and sweetness.it smells nice,easy to wear and clean and I can't say it's bad considering it's price but it's a soft skinscent in this stage and each time I wear it I feel so sad thinking of how amazing it could be if they amped up white chocolate and sweetness,if florals were better pronounced and if there was less of this cold chemical white musk. If you're looking for a gourmand or a real night perfume here it will disappoint you,but if you're looking for a soft and safe feminine perfume,something clean and smooth with tamed sweetness it can please you.it's wearable year round,is OK as a daily pick me up,something to wear around home,even for work I couldn't write a review for it as I was hoping that someday it might grow on me but now I'm giving up.I like it's drydown but I don't think I can use 125mil of it while a lot of more intresting perfumes are waiting for me For a creamy,yummy white chocolate,vanilla I'd rather go for Britney Spears fantasy Nice remix and for white chocolate-powder-musk combo I prefer Britney Spears fantasy naughty remix.for a right out of shower,skin being washed with a creamy floral liquid soap I prefer Aubade anecdote By the way it has nothing to do with Guess marciano IMHO.on me they're exact opposite.Guess M is a sugary,spicy,citrus bomb,this is a soft,white cloud of cleanness نذارید شکلات سفید و وانیل شما رو ب اشتباه بندازه. فیفث اونیو نایت نه عطر شب هست و نه یه عطر شیرین و خوراکی طور و نه رایحه زیادی سن پایین و بچگونه ای داره رایحه بسیار ملایم و لطیف و تمیزی داره شبیه به وقتی که تازه از حموم دراومدین و پوستتون رو با شامپو بدن کرمی با رایحه ملایم گلی شستین.برای استفاده چهارفصل بعنوان عطر دم دستی و روزانه و محل کار مناسبه

I don't specially like this perfume, i find it pleasant, but most of the time i wear it only at home. It is a warm and cosy scent, i like to wear it when i'm home in the warm room while outside it is chilly or snowy. During the winter i also like to wear it when i go to sleep, with its chocolate odour it smooths my nerves. It very rarely happens that i wear it outside, only when the weather becomes suddenly cold, in a cold, wet day during the summer for example. And to my great surprise whenever i wear it outside my apartment, this is the very perfume that gets the more compliment! People come to me and ask me what i wear and where they could buy it. It is really strange as i have a lot of perfumes and most of them i find better than this one, still, it is the greatest success. It is true that it is a very pleasant, sophistacated gourmand scent, not offensive, not boring, and it really lasts long on my skin. I like to have it and i will repurchase it when i run out of this bottle, as i like to wear it when i feel cold and it need some warm feeling- but this is definitely not my favourite. Actually i think the original 5th Avenue is more a jolly joker, my only prefume that can be worn in any occasion, it will be good for a theatre or for a conference, for sports or for shopping, for summer or winter, whenever i can't decide what to wear, 5th Avenue is always a good desicion- while 5th Avenue night is not good when the weather is hot or when i want something really elegant. Anyway, for its price its a great perfume.

On me it's mostly white chocolate. Kind of like cheesecake as someone else has mentioned. Florals are noticeable and beautiful. I am a floral lover so i do not find this too floral for me though others complain of this being too floral. I am not a huge gourmand fragrance fan but consider this to be one of my favorite gourmand perfumes in my collection right now. White chocolatey cheesecake with fresh florals is a hit in my book. It's very much comfort territory for me. The florals just make it so beautiful but compared to many florals i own it is not very floral. I get moderate projection with 5 noticable hours before it fades to a skin scent. I picked up a jacket i wore this with a week ago to put on and noticed this beautiful scent was still lingering on it. I felt compelled to spray more 5th Avenue Nights on for the evening. Divine.

This was an excellent blind buy. After reading the reviews here (thank you fragrantica nation;) I just had to get one. I'm in love! I've been wearing it since I got it. When I first sprayed it I thought hmmm I've smelled this before ... and then I remembered my sisters best friend was using Gucci Premiere. So I had to check and compare notes, found lots of similarities. I am not saying it's exactly the same, just reminds me of a more expensive one. But I have to say that to me 5th Avenue Nights is a lot deeper and complex - because of the numerous notes, and also it really does work well with coconut lotion on ;) I love it when I get an expensive smelling perfume for such a good price, makes my day. And everyone loves this on me. Great job Marypierre Julien!

i agree with maraika. it is a sharp scent, but only at the beginning. later on it becomes very soft and sweet. but definitely not too sweet. its a very yummy chocolate fragrance. i think the combination of white chocolate, vanilla rtc. reminds on coconut scents but its definitely not overwhelming. i love this scent and on my skin it lasts all day long. thank good i have a 125ml bottle as i love to use this yummy frag. it makes me feel comfortable without smeelling like an escapee of a candy shop.

I got the store`s last bottle of this when I was on a holiday. And I`m so glad I just went for it. I read somewhere that this one is similar with another Arden fragrance, Provocative Interlude, which I love. And they are similar, but not the same. PI is very gourmand with berries and white chocolate, and very sweet. Nights is more about flowers mixed with chocolate. This one is softer and creamier and not as sweet. Love it!

Gosh nyoka, you really got the vibe of this 'fume!' Teasingly playful and sexy. The flowers in this are clean and bold with bergamot and mandarine giving them a warm invitation. Freesia, heliotrope and lily are fantastic in this and flirt constantly with the creamy white chocolate-vanilla love potion. If you want to feel deliciously sexy without being too serious, 5th Avenue Nights should definitely be on the menu!

I love the warm, sweet creaminess of this fragrance. The drydown keeps me coming back to it - subtle and warm vanila dessert. I feel edible when I wear this. Its gourmand notes make this my comfort food fragrance - after a long day to shower and slip into something soft and envelope myself in this scent and to drift off to sleep on a cloud of musk and vanilla and chocolate - delicious.

Well Zvoncica, I was talking to my friend Mad-Lainey and the thing is, we tend to love the extremely expensive perfumes and the 'low end' we do not think too much of. BUT: fact is that some houses considered 'low end' just have GORGEOUS fragrances. Arden has some of those as well!!! And this surely fits the bill!!! :-)

I love this sweet delicate wafty cake scent that lingers all around and when my body heat warms it up its divine! Mmmmm its soft, sweet, fluffy, light, delicate... I love this❤ the halls of heaven So sweet but not too gourmand at all. This is delightful and not childish. Its breezy and clean sweetness.

EA perfumes are always good bargains in germany and i'm sooo glad i bought this perfume.EA 5th avenue nights opens with soft flowers and nicely blooms before settling to warm vanilla and chocolates.for me it is so balanced - flowery, sweet n warm.love it!

This smelled like the original 5th avenue with heaps of coconut. That aside, I wondered if anyone can tell me if this is a limited edition or just difficult to find? I do like it but only 1 place I know of hear in Melbourne, Australia sells it.

This one is very easy to love. I would not rate it as a masterpiece, but very easy to love..

I expected a gourmand dark dessert. What I get instead is a floral bouquet, lemon tea and loads of white musk ! This doesn't mean I don't like it, to the contrary, it's just very different from what the notes suggested. :) When first sprayed, you get a blast of flowers, all mixed together it's kinda hard to differentiate them but I would say the freesia, the calla and the cyclamen are the strongest at first. The scent of calla flower, to me, is the smell of pollen you get when you touch the inside of a flower. It's a yellowish smell, kind of intrusive and a bit sour. Cyclamen to me is a fantasy note, it just represents a green essence and the beauty of this flower (on a side note, my cyclamens keep dying it's annoying ahah). As the scent develops, I get a very strong lemon note and a very acidic bergamot. The lemon felling is like drinking boiled water with a big slice of lemon in it. The bergamot only adds to the freshness and the greenness previously felt thanks to the cyclamen and freesia note. We are now at the 2 hours mark and the lily-of-the-valley (that I looove) shyly pops up with the jasmine. Unfortunately heliotrope is non-existent to me (its almond-facet would have been much appreciated) and the peony is very faint, just as the rose that remained surprisingly discreet since the beginning... After the 3 hours mark, the scent dries down to a very generic white musk that is so common. Hopefully, the vanilla kicks in layered on soft blond woods that fixes the base. I don't really understand why white chocolate is the most voted note because it's not huge on me, I couldn't tell it's white chocolate if it was not listed. I would have guessed creamy milk with a tiny touch of coconut. The scent remains noticeable for 5 hours and it is very enveloping for floral lovers like me. The base notes make the scent a bit warmer but I don't get the name "Nights"... To me, this is not related to nights out or anything like that. I would never chose this one for an evening out or as a night scent. It's too floral, too green and soft for that. I like it very much however ! Great for a walk in spring, as a "pick-me-up", great for office, coffee-break in the city-centre, for a week-end in the countryside, etc. Very versatile indeed. I would like to see how it performs in cold weather, maybe the white chocolate will be more noticeable. All in all, a nice fragrance and my first one from the house of Elizabeth Arden. Britney Spears fragrances brought me here (Elizabeth Arden manufactures them) and as they are cheap and good quality, it raised my interest in the main brand. This convinces me to explore more of EA fragrances, especially since I see they have lots of florals. :) Give it a try if you can ! Colour: GREY and LIGHT YELLOW

This is the one bottle in my swap pile that has turned out to be absolutely unswappable. It's been on my regularly posted swap lists for close to a year - no other fragrance has managed that, the perfume that has been on there the second longest has only been so for like half a year. Why? WHY?! I mean, sure, it ended up in the swap pile in the first place so this obviously means I am not keen on keeping it around myself, but I really try to keep my collection as small as possible and that's the only reason why this one isn't staying. I took it out just now to give it a spray, it's quite lovely - a little flowery, slightly powdery, musky, clear water splashy, coconutty (I guess that's the white chocolate, it sort of reads creamy rather than sweet). So why isn't this fragrance enticing to swappers? Is it that the people that would go for 5th Avenue shy away from anything gourmand? Is it because the gourmand lovers stay away from classic florals like 5th Avenue? I wouldn't even call this gourmand, it's more of a musky powdery floral with a dash of something sweetly creamy. Seriously, if I can't find anyone that would swap for this within Europe - it's a cheapie and also a partial bottle in my case, so there really wouldn't need to be much in return - I'll just do a giveaway and hope that it will finally get shown some love!

There was no doubt I'd like this, so I bought it blind. It's a good scent, that's for sure! I'm really liking it. I agree with comparisons of Provocative Interlude (only the white chocolate note for me) and Love's Baby Soft. I can plainly smell both, not for long, and not terribly strong, but they ARE there. I don't find this scent to be powerful OR really long lasting like some have mentioned. I don't doubt that it is long lasting for those who say it is. But for me, sadly, it isn't. This scent is very nostalgic for me. I don't think it's because of the Love's Baby Soft. But there is a strong association to that time frame. Maybe it IS? I would recommend this to anyone that thinks they might like it. Pretty sure you will! I'm so glad to have this one. I hope with time, it might just become stronger? Then again....I'm a bit heavy handed anyway, so it might be best as it is. This scent doesn't really seem to be a night time scent. This is a lovely clean little lady, YOUNG lady. This is not "mature", nor is it TOO young. This would have been a love for me if I didn't own Provocative Interlude. Even at that, this is worth owning! I hope all who purchase this enjoy it as much as I am! Way to go Elizabeth Arden...again!

There are some desserts that look gorgeous, sophisticated and expensive, but they actually are quite simple to prepare. This scent reminds me white chocolate lace covered fresh fruits with some mild flower petals for decoration -simple, easy, but so delicious and beautiful. And at the table there's a lady wearing expensive, long, new leather gloves. I had quite low expectations, but when I received this, I was surprised in a very good way. It has very little to do with the regular 5th avenue. The opening is sweet, fresh and flowery (I get a beautiful bunch of lilac, peony and a bit of mild jasmine). Then it turns creamy and delicious, settles down, lies on my skin like a fresh made white chocolate cream with some real vanilla added. I actually dislike the white chocolate as a food, but here it's beautifully blended with other notes. And the last wonder- the dry down is not only about vanilla and white chocolate, there's a beautiful, reserved calm , but noticeable leather note added. A mild, charming, sophisticated leather note mixed with that gourmand sweetness! Just beautiful!

Oh what a beauty ! 5th Ave Nights is fresh and floral like 5th Ave, but Nights is more lush, a little darker, with the added touch of soft wood. Bergamot and sweet mandarin keep this fragrance continuously freshened, while a hefty amount of white chocolate consistently gives 5th Ave Nights a lush, deep creamy richness. The beautiful soft florals bloom throughout wearing. Heliotrope contributes to a slightly powdery or soapy nuance, but there is much more creaminess than soapiness. The soft wood adds an interesting depth, and keeps everything from being too sweet. Is this a night time perfume ? Yes, for dry, hot summer nights, when you want your skin to still feel fresh, yet smooth, silky, expensively rich and creamy. Not heavy at all, expertly blended and balanced, 5th Ave Nights is perfect for daytime, too, any time of the year. Silage is moderate, longevity is more than 10 hours on my skin. For me, 5th Ave Nights is definitely a keeper!

I love the scent but its longevity and sillage are disturbing me. I need about 10 spritzes to start smelling it. And then the magic comes...night walk along the fields not far from a lake....it has the same night water vibe as CK Night Obsession but it is much softer and less present...warm creamy subtle scent. White flowers blended with white chocolate. The creaminess comes from the white chocolate- musk- vanilla combi...delicious...haunting but also calming in the drydown....you would want more of it but it is very subtle. I would call it " White Nights" and its colour is shimmering pale silver. For the lovers of skin scents. Update: Well, the longevity and sillage are getting better now that it is warm. It is not a January fragrance, it needs warmth to truly show its worth. It is definately much more present, the orchestra of notes coming through,I' m really enjoying its calming presence.

Yummy white choc mixed with flowers. There is something in it which seems to bother me though , I do not like freesia in other fragrances so it might be that but overall I am glad I have finally found a scent with a well detectable white chocolate note. It was my latest blind-buy and 5th Avenue Nights is nice-ish enough for it`s incredibly cheap price. It does not smell cheap at all! The lasting power is not really good so it needs reapplying every now and then and for this reason I would not wear it for evenings, it is a bit too light for me. It has earned me a couple of compliments when I totally forgot about the fragrance, I didn`t smell it on myself anymore and still had people telling me I smelled lovely and asking what I was wearing so I guess it is popular. :) I wouldn`t call it sexy though, it is a quiet and sophisticated scent. I would give it 6/10 because of the poor longevity.

You know that soft smell of non descript something that you might get on someone working in an office all day or who is trying not to offend anyone - this is soft like that. its almost skin scenty - powdery cool. The opening was fine, the rest was a bit plain in some way, can't distinguish notes. Yeah you've smelt his 100 times before. Good value for size, good if you want a safe easy, it smells better on my friend. EDIT GAVE THIS BOTTLE TO FRIEND. It seems it needed to be used by someone else and be exposed to air and light which seems to make it bloom it’s soft bloom. I do like the scent it’s nit that, but I’ve got others I would wear over this. Lovely soft powdery dusky slightly warm ish but cool scent.

This one is so nice. In the beginning I was unsure about it cause the whole look didn't appear to me. I blind bought it (cause it was on a sale) and was like 'Here we go' Immediately I liked it. I could smell white chocolate from the start then it settles into a more vanilla-white chocolate with a hint of an orange kinda scent and I love it. It's definetly not too sweet, just the right amount. On me it stays for about 3 hours and sillage is close to the skin. It's a really yummy scent. I wish I could eat a dessert that would smell and taste like this fragrance. Don't be surprised if you'll end up craving for some chocolate after you'll put this on yourself. It was a really good blind buy indeed.

Yummi, soft, deep, varm, elegant and very feminine - makes me feel sophisticated and special. this will be one of my top ten favourites. Nice sweet flowers - not to sweet and not to girly, for me its perfect. I wear this one in daytime, its not a loud scent Its not longlasting, this wonderful scent is gone in 2 hours on my skin, but nice price so I think its worth the prize. En härlig blommig, djup doft. Känns elegant och klassisk. Inte för tjej-söt. Tyvärr så håller inte doften mer än max 2 timmar på mig, ett litet minus. Inga skarpa toner utan en mjuk, sensuell och kvinnlig doft. Jag använder den dagtid för jag tycker inte att den är speciellt stark.

Yumm Yumm Yumm..... mmmmmmmmmmmm.... Makes me want to eat In-Chocolate-Covered-Strawberry-Flavoured-Marshmellows... which I just did btw ;) Okay... let's move on to the scent! It's a really lush fragrance, opening with delicious notes of sweet & fresh, juicy manderin & bergamot accompanied by the lovely sweet florals... As the scent lingers on the vanilla & white chocolate notes will come more to the surface and add more sweetness to the composition... Just as in "Provocative Interlude" the floral notes will still be there in the dry-down, exactly how I like it, because it prevents the scent from becoming too sticky-sweet.

This is sweeeet! I can't believe coconut isnt a note in this! At first its a super sweet zingy aroma of coconuts, mandarin oranges and bergamont. After a few minutes a combination of white flowers add floral touches to the sweetness. A very slight and faint powdery smell reminds me of the original 5th Avenue. The white chocolate in the bottom notes adds even more sweetness! Luckily the vanilla makes it more creamy-sweet and the musk and woods levels it off a bit. I love it after it dries down and it wears close to the skin. I would defin consider this a floral fruity gourmand. Coconuts, lilies, white chocolate and musk..

This is not nearly as sweet as you might expect, considering the white chocolate and vanilla are so high on the pyramid. I find this to be more of a citrusy floral than an overly sugary scent. This opens with fresh light florals, mostly freesia to me, and an equal amount of mandarin orange. As it develops, the sweeter notes begin to emerge, and although the chocolate and vanilla get more noticeable, they never get very strong, and this goes nowhere near gourmand territory for me. Don’t let the name fool you - this does not smell like a night time fragrance. This is daytime all the way.

I ordered it blindly after the reviews I read here on the site ... I can say I am impressed with it ... it's fresh at the beginning but then it turns into creamy white chocolate - lemon ... it's great and I love it! but I will wear it in the colder seasons, now with 34-35 degrees I cannot imagine wearing something sweet the parfume has a great price for 125 ml, the sillage is good and it remains on your skin for at least 10 hours ... I even washed my hand yesterday trying to test it's power ... yes, it's a great parfume from an old and prestigiuos house of parfumes it's worth EA

While I agree that this is a lovely powdery floral, I don't get why this 5th Avenue flanker is called Nights when it's a daytime scent IMO. Sure, it's pleasant enough and inoffensive, although it gives my nose this slight sting that some kiddie colognes have (maybe due to the bergamot and mandarin orange notes?). Since it carries the name of 5th Avenue I was expecting something as sophisticated as the original one, but I get a scent that a girl in her early teens could wear. Longevity is okay for me, it lasts up to four hours before I need to reapply.

I blind bought this based on the reviews. It's a nice, sweet floral with a musky base, but I don't smell nearly as much white chocolate as I had expected. Despite the name, it's actually more of an everyday scent than a nighttime scent in my opinion. It doesn't project much, but the longevity is good. It's not a dupe of Fantasy Naught Remix, but they have similarities. Although I'm disappointed that this doesn't have more white chocolate, it's still a good perfume especially for the price (I got mine for around $10 for 4.2oz).

I have both 5th Ave Nights and Provocative Interlude, and while they both share a prominant note of white chocolate, they are really not similar, composition wise. Where PI is sweet and fruity, basically gourmand, 5th has a creamy floral background, kind of "soapy" but not in a powdery way. I wasn't sure if I'd like this because of that "soap" smell, but really it's great for day or night, not at all smelling like that awful public bathroom soap. It's not rosy, either, but a great fall/winter frag, or even early spring.

Much like the after five version, this flanker tries to carry you through to into the night. Not so much. It's a little too tame for that. I get the white chocolate which is an interesting note. Paired up with vanilla you would think it sweet or even gourmand but it's not. The floral is more prominent so I find it kind of a missed opportunity. Musk is there but not overwhelming. All said, I do like it for daytime wear and for $20 it's good value for your money. I'm happy with it for that price.

it is not enchanting like calvin klein euphoria or sugary like britney spears perfumes. ıt is a soft and sweet fragrance, but it is not a night fragrance for sure. dont let the night name mislead you, it is a daytime smell. i think every fragrance has a color and i choose white for this:) if you like soft scents, you can buy it blindly. it is a special fragrance for me but the longevity is not too long, it lasts about 4 hours.since i love applying perfume during the day, it is ok with me :)

This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. At first, it's very flowery, but after a minute or two it calms down to a nice and sweet white floral. My husband, not a fragrance fan, even ASKS met to wear this one and a man we didn't know recently complimented my husband while we were dining on how nice I smelled while wearing it. Don't worry, the sillage is moderate, but not strong and it dries down to a lightly flowery white chocolate that sits very close to the skin after a few hours.

This was a blind buy for me (after checking Fragrantica lol). I thought it would have been stronger with "Nights" in the name but it's very soft & inoffensive. It's a light flowery/powdery smell on me that will work in the office or after a shower as it has a very mellow calming feeling about it. It reminds me of something from my childhood, but I can't figure out what. LOVES BABY SOFT!! That's what it reminds me of, from high school many many many years ago lol.

Thought I'd love it, judging by the notes... unfortunately, this came out more floral than gourmand on me, and was a bit weak for my taste and I ended up returning it. Something about the drydown seemed a bit dated to me, but I do see how others are reminded vaguely of Fantasy by this, there's that sweet, creamy white chocolate note. For people looking for a more grown up, mature version of Fantasy, they might enjoy this, and you can find it for a steal!

This... reminds me of the original formulation of Crystal Noir, actually. Something about it also makes me think Kenzo Amour, but mostly Crystal Noir. I did not expect that. I like Crystal Noir, but I don't love it, which is why I swapped away my tester of it. I don't think I am going to hang on to this one either, even though there is nothing wrong with it. It wasn't quite as gourmand-y as I had hoped.

I used this around 2016-ish. Really enjoyed it, it smells sweet, floral, powdery and clean. Very delicate and feminine and it lasted nicely as I sprayed it on my clothes too, on my skin it lasted a bit less maybe 3 hours. Wouldn't necessarily rebuy as I have found nicer sweet delicate flowery scents but at the time it was a nice one for me.

The name is "Nights" but it is more "Days" compare to 5th avenue. It's like a modern version of it. Not as gourmand as Style. Easy to use. Simple, floral, creamy. It's not soapy because of the mandarin. A gracious scent. I like it but my mom and her friends love it. It could be a nice mothers day option.

It ́s the second time I have this fragrance. I like it a lot because it ́s a warm and almost delicious perfume. Fits to every day and any occasion but anyway it ́s an elegant one. I think the value for money is more than ok. A good fragrance for a fair and nice price.

It's so nice and sweet - mostly I get the white chocolate and musk and some heliothrope. However it can't replace my beloved 5-th Avenue. Besides the sillage and longevity are worse. It's like a yonger and gourmand version of the original.

I absolutely love the original 5th Avenue and was expecting to love this too..But it does not stay on my skin. Looking at the notes, it should..But I can only smell it about the first half hour and it's gone all together after.

I bought it unsniffed on a cold season and it took me a while to make friends with this frag. It's like love at the 7th sight to me. Now I really love it on a hot summer day, just like I'm wrapped in a soft yummy cloud ;-)

This is a huge cloud of warm, edible vanilla with floral undertones. For the price point it's amazing value and long-wearing. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy gourmands.

A barely detectable fresh floral with a bit of white chocolate somewhere in the background. Pretty. Didn't last an hour and minimal silage.

Soft and delightful fragrance... I enjoy it a lot wearing in summer ́s nights, this smell like coconut is perfect =)

I find this the best out of 5th Avenue collection, love the white chocolate note

I do like the bottle and it is very modern

if only the smell would last longer !!
