5th Avenue NYC Love

Fresh, sweet, and juicy fruits in the opening, complemented by various floral notes, make this fragrance joyfully feminine. The first moments evoked memories of a deodorant—probably the very first fragrance I received from my parents as a young teenager in the ’90s. The same carefree, youthful, and fleeting freshness of a sunny spring day, with soft warm rays of light and blossoming paradise apple and mirabelle trees all around. The creamy, lightly powdery, and woody base is elegant and long-lasting, lingering on fabric throughout the day. A distant echo of the original, but more girlish and romantic. Simply lovely.

I just received this as a gift and I really like it. It feels like a mix of sophisticated/clean with a bit of a "fun" and "girly" and it would feel great on a date, or on a day out with friends. It doesn ́t feel very season-specific so far. It reminds me a little bit the smell of some beauty shops where I would always wonder "what is that nice smell". Well for me, I think I found it and it ́s kind of a plus, but it could be a negative to some. Would buy again.

A lovely, feminine, fresh fruity floral perfume in the vein of Tous Touch, Coach EDT and EDP, My Burberry Blush, and Elizabeth Arden My Fifth Avenue. I smell the pear, peony, and freesia. Not particularly original -- but then the 5th Avenue flankers tend to be dupe-like, so not surprising -- but very pretty for what it is. And, at $14, it's a total bargain. I'm very happy to have it in my collection. :)

Another lovely fragrance from Elizabeth Arden, a beautiful, long lasting white floral. I don't quite get any of the fruity notes in the opening, instead it's pretty much straight to the floral notes, best of all, the peony and gardenia notes. Longevity is very good. It's one of the nicest 5th Avenue flankers, get it while you can.

Unobtrusive and very much akin to Elizabeth Arden's Pretty and vaguely of Red Door Revealed. It's in that family with the peony in this fragrance NYC Love , being the subtle star. Doesn't last, works well in the sub tropics. Cheap and cheerful at 19$ Aus dollars so not exactly breaking the bank. Worth it for lovers of peony.

A beautiful new friend bought me a bottle of this as a surprise birthday gift, and unless you know a person well it can always be hit-and-miss buying someone perfume. However, this was the perfect gift because NYC LOVE is a very fresh, clean, sparkly scent that I would imagine most people would enjoy wearing. It's not a special event scent or a date night scent, but it's a scent you can wear every day and feel suitably fragranced. I was scared it was going to be a flowery elderly lady scent, but it's absolutely not. It's young and energetic. I was gifted it in Autumn and wished I had it all summer long as it's such a bright and happy scent - it would have solved a lot of my summer scent dilemmas. I don't think I will buy it again for myself but I know without any doubt whatsoever that I will absolutely use every single ounce of this! On second thoughts, maybe I will buy it again - it lasted quite well throughout the day too. I'm now intrigued to try the other NYC perfumes too. Lovely gift from a lovely friend.

5th Ave was in my regular rotation back before I stopped wearing perfume. I have yet to repurchase, but snatched this after a quick fragrantica search. I love the bright fresh opening, it is very fleeting though. The florals and patchouli take over, leaving anything else in the background. Still get hints of fresh fruits peeping through enough to keep the patchouli from going too deep. It’s nice, a lil freshly floral, but not loud. Longevity is not long, so it will be an around the house, quick errands type thing. If I get improvement on longevity, I will edit. I usually get 4 at most until it goes to skin. 8/10

A pleasant & affordable feminine fragrance that can be worn in any environment. It would be best worn in spring & summer but could be worn anytime. I dont find this to be a "fruity floral" as it is listed. I think the fruit just lends to the freshness of this soft, mild, floral fragrance. The base notes are not strong or heavily prominent at all. This is nice, although I prefer the original (which is much stronger & much more showy & sexy). I bought this not knowing it’s a brand new perfume. It has the Elizabeth Arden DNA, but it behaves like a more versatile version of it. It’s a bit more fresh and clean than the original. Quite feminine, but also a bit playful in a way. I think it smells a lot like Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia edt - they both feel like you’re in a forest just after some rain.

i tossed this when my ex and i broke up bc i think he spent like 2 minutes picking out a perfume for me and probably closed his eyes and selected at random while at the airport. also it's just an ok floral and i knew i wouldn't miss it (and i don't). remember this smelling a little too sharp. hope this helps

Unpleasant! All I smell in it is cherry blossom, which is a note that shouldn't even be there. It reminds me of The Body Shop's Glowing Cherry Blossom. The same annoying undertone. It has pretty good longevity. After trying it on my wrist I had to scrub it off with soap. And even after the shower later on, I could still faintly detect it. I have to say it smelled the least off-putting after trying to wash it off twice.

Good that this was only 10 $. I blind bought it because it seems as something I'd like. It's too rosey for me. There's no rose listed but to me it smells like cheap rose body spray

I accidentally sprayed it on @ store and immediately regret it. It smells very common and lasts very long.

I just sampled 5th Avenue NYC Love and it reminded me with L by Gwen Stefani. Soft floral with a clean musky dry down. Not sure about the longevity though. I sprayed it less than an hour ago and I can hardly smell anything now. It's more like a fragrance mist not a perfume.

Oh...this is so pretty! Wearing it in 90 degree, thick humid ick. Michigan summers can be brutal. She is holding up just fine, this reminds me of Chance, just a bit less longevity. It’s worth the 12 bucks i bought it for.

A gentle, white flowers perfume with a musk dry down. Elegant and fun, for everyday use. If you know the OG, this has the same DNA.

Nice fragrance. Softly sweet, feminine, fresh and floral. Feels romantic and youthful.
