5th Avenue NYC Vibe

Dewy, Fluffy Pear, Rose & Musk with a Faint Jamminess... This beauty opens with a burst of dewy & fruity pear, that deepens into a rosy heart with near-marshmallow & jasmine nuances, resting on a musk base that has a fluffy, whipped quality. Over time the drydown takes on faint chypre tones and a faint jammy quality catalyzed by the red-currant, and on the skin I pick up a soft grass note. The rose is more forward here than the notes would suggest, contributing to the velvety whipped quality. This has been compared to Idôle Lancôme & Parisienne Yves Saint Laurent, and although it's not identical like a clone, it has a similar vibe and may be inspired by these. Overall: Average or slightly above average performance and a beautiful & versatile scent profile, this is the perfect scent to wear for a relaxed 'vibe' in spring-summer. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 03/16/25: This just keeps getting better over time, similar to most rose fragrances. It's become even more similar to scents like Idôle Lancôme, with a very forward rose-pear accord. I also get reminders of English Pear & Freesia Jo Malone, Royal Mystery Swiss Arabian and Rosé Rush Paris Hilton. Reviewers have currently got it right, and I would rate the top five notes in order of strength as pear, rose, musk, jasmine, red currant. Still a love.

Great for spring and summer Really good stuff Another blind buy 🙈 😊 It's soft, fruity but not too much - to me the prominent fruity note is pear 🍐 I just sprayed - it's fresh, fruity but floral, it's so so good - seems to be a floral-fruity and not the other way around. That freesia gives you a green mango vibe 😍 😍 😍 Let's see if I get a hint of coconut as it dries down I'm getting a slight channel Eau Tendre vibe Let's see... Edit: what kind of sorcery is this? On the drydown it smells like Lancôme Idôle?! I'm so confused 😕 still a love though

This is gorgeous! Lancome Idole all the way and it's such a bang for your buck because the performance is crazy! I had idole a few years ago but had to declutter it because every time I sprayed it i would get a massive headache. It was such a beautiful scent too so I was super sad to see it go. But now I can have it at a fraction of the cost and without the stupid bottle that didn't stand up. 5th avenue Vibe has such a beautiful bottle. 10/10 everywhere. I got a tester bottle for $13 I am beyond happy!

I have Lancome Idole and 5th Ave NYC Vibe and they are almost identical! Price point for NYC Vibe is way more affordable. I bought my NYC Vibe 4.2oz for under $15. The sillage and longevity are just the same and honestly these 2 smell close enough that i'll be repurchasing NYC Vibe again and not ldole because they're that close of a scent match. If you like Idole I would recommend trying 5th Ave NYC Vibe

This is a good all year round scent for under $20. I get nectarine, pear and red currant from opening to end. This is very similar to Idole but even better with a hint of coconut. Rose, musk and violet add some kind of powdery accord. Projects pretty good and it lasts for about 5 hrs. A love for me! edit: I also get the toned down Parisienne similarity but without the vinyl note.

Juicy fruits give the fragrance an energetic, joyful character—tender and blissful in its sweetness. Then come the florals: enveloping, feminine, and beautiful. The base, as a skin scent, becomes slightly woody and a touch less smooth. Longevity lasts throughout the day, with a delicate sillage. A very pleasant composition to wear, full of positive energy.

Love love this one The drydown on me resembles Idôle a little too much 👀 I'm going to gift it to my sister as I already own Idôle, Idôle Intense and Memoire Intense (close dupe), plus I'm not getting any coconut 🥥 Still a great fragance

I blind bought this from Notino and it smells juicy, rosy and sweet. It's great for a casual spring/summer going out or even a pick-me-up. I agree that it smells very similar to Lancome Idole but Idole is a bit smoother and lasts longer. Overall, for the price I got it I can't complain.

A wonderful scent! Juicy nectarine, rose, coconut that blends in, a tiny bit woodsy for elevation! And it lasts quite well! Perfect for warmer spring time and summer! To me it has some réminiscence to YSL Parisienne (a toned down version)...

This smells so much like Lancôme Idôle, but it's a tiny bit more fresh and fruity. It's like Idôle's younger sister. If you like Idôle and want more affordable version, go for it.

it's an okay perfume. definitely good enough for its price. has this sweet flowery scent that lasts 3~4 hours (at most) and opens into like an almost laundry scent. i don't really know how to describe it - not necessarily soapy but chemically sweet in a laundry way. it's not the most refined perfume and if your budget allows i would recommend going for something higher quality, but this is perfectly decent quality and the smell is not unpleasant - it just wasn't anything too special. i think this will be great for someone who's not picky about perfumes!

Wonderful opening and disastrous ending on my skin. After this fruitful floral opening all that remains on my skin is this strong patchouli (more than animalic - gasoline like) sweetened with coco sugar, wood (like cedar wood) and strong musk. I would have like the opening would have stayed more and I'd wanted a lighter, less sweet and imponent wood base. Ended up as a lattafa patchouli based scent.. I know I have a problem with patchouli - my nose perceives it more and my skin amplyfies it.. So this is part of the trouble. It really gives me an headache. This scent lasts forever but to me it smells like a cedar covered old foyer where someone has sprayed a fruity hair freshener trying to get away the smell of a closed ambience. It almost smells masculine to me If you love patchouli based scents give it a try. I wouldn't use it when working in an office or at close contact with people Lasts a lot. Sillage 3 m.

Oh this is beautiful! It smells like a sweeter, creamier J'Adore! I absolutely love it, very similar to Calvin Klein Eternity Moment to my nose [a sweet, honeyed floral]. The sillage is crazy, this perfume is a beast on me, not that the original 5th avenue was not potent but this guy and NYC Red are real powerhouses. Such a beautiful surprise, especially since I blind bought it [ran out of 5th Avenue the original and said hey, why not, let's try some fruity versions]. Absolutely love this.

I had this before fragrantica released a page for it. Well.... NYC Vibes smells juicy, sweet ish, bubble gum like. It is nothing like the notes listed here. Its more like: bubble gum, coconut, pears. I bought it on a whim somehow thinking its quite nice and unique.

I quite like it - not a top hit, but a nice fragrance, smells of coconut to me, slightly soapy yet neat, very creamy (reminds me of sun lotions of all kinds) + a raspberry bubble gum. That's my second popular clubbing scent =D

This is awesome if you want to smell like an old lady. What a disappointing blind buy after reading all of the rave reviews.

This smells nice. It’s a soft powdery coconutty-fruity scent. Really inoffensive. Nothing groundbreaking but it’s pleasant.
