Green Tea Camellia

11/13/19 - I absolutely 💕 LOVE 💕 this scent. I work a lot of long hours in the healthcare field. That means that, if I’m patient/client-focused, I don’t wear fragrances that would make their stomachs turn in their already compromised health state. Smelling like one has just gotten out of the shower is definitely a plus in this field but it’s easy to go overboard with frags. EA Green Tea Camellia is so perfect for what I was looking for to wear to work - it’s fresh, clean, feminine, floral... yet polite and unobtrusive. It makes me feel happy and confident. Sometimes when I read reviews on here, soapy/out-of-the-shower notes are panned and make the frag being reviewed sound like an automatic scrapper. I work all. the. damn. time. I need these types of scents because it’s where I am the majority of my days. So, if you’re looking for a scent to spritz on after a long pool or beach day in the sun, or something that is pretty and crowd friendly, I cannot recommend this more. These types of scents also are dismissed as not being very sensual or sexy. I couldn’t disagree more. If you’re happy and relaxed and feel great with what you’re wearing, and you have a partner who likes to sniff your erogenous zones and fancies smelling clean floral creamy notes, heck yeah this is sexy and sensual! A+++ and I hope I can always find this. It’s my fave of EA’s entire Green Tea line 🥰

Oh wow! Green tea and camellia-what a fabulous idea. The perfume begins on the classic EA Green Tea opening, within a few minutes the yuzu emerges and makes it a bit sweeter and sparkling. Within about 15 minutes the camellia appears bringing in a clean and creamy floral arrangement. The musk and woody notes are whisper light, but present. The fragrance does have good projection and lasted around 6 hours without having to reapply. One of my favorites of the Green Tea line. Rating 8 out of 10. Suitable for office, casual, spring and summer wear.

Oh finally you got this one in the database! I've had the chance (and luck) to try it at the airport just the other day!I love all the green tea line, and this one is just amazing! Starts fresh and then becomes such a soft, slightly sweet, floral! And it seemed to last longer than any other EA green teas! My second favourite after the green tea tropical. I'm gonna get it next time i fly back, the price is very affordable as well!

Squeaky clean and aromatic citrusy white floral, in the vein of the original but with some more masculine dry spices and a touch more bitterness to it. It actually doesn't smell like screechy or cheap men's cologne at all, so that's good. I now see why the bottle is blue. It's definitely not trying to stand out or break out from that aromatic men's cologne category, though, just doing it in a really soft and agreeable way (and it's gentle and musky enough that a woman could still wear it). There's also less emphasis on the green tea note in this one and it feels like more of a supporting character amongst the aromatic/aquatic notes. Same goes for the more herbal notes like celery seed and fennel which are also not that fresh or bitter and mainly function as subtler supporting notes. I really like it and find it to be super effortless, but if you have both this and the original I don't think you'd need both. Doubtful that all these Green Tea flankers that I enjoy as a light pick-me-up are all keep-worthy, since a lot of them smell so similar or have a similar feel, but it is definitely worth a blind buy at a cheap price from a discount shop etc. especially if you're a man or a more tomboyish woman. I'll hold on to this one until I have the strength to whittle my rather redundant Green Tea flanker collection down. They're just so agreeable and such easy pick-me-ups, especially if you throw them in the fridge. I don't think you need to sample them all, but at such a cheap price, it's hard not to pick one up when you stumble upon them! Lasts about 5-6 hours, which is on par with the original, perhaps a bit longer. ★★★☆☆

I purchased EA's Green Tea many years back and just didn't feel it was my type of fragrance. I much preferred her 5th Avenue which was less harsh in the opening. I'm glad I gave her other Green Tea scents a chance. Saying that this fragrance "opens petal by petal" is quite accurate. I'm so glad someone mentioned this-- I used Camellia one day and used Exotic the next. I could not tell much of a difference between the two, so I will be passing the Camellia along to my sister, as I much prefer the notes in the Exotic. Camellia opens with a harsh citrus smell (probably the lemon and green tea). It dissipates fairly fast. The jasmin, mandarine, white peony, and magnolia come through next. By the time it's settled after at least an hour or two, the warm musk and spices linger but not for long. The longevity and sillage are not that great in my opinion. The fragrance starts out with a blast but will definitely not sustain for a whole day. You'd have to refresh it at some point during the day, but preferably NOT in your neck area. I spray this on my top so the fragrance can last a little longer. Bottom line: while I like this fragrance, I wouldn't repurchase it, since I like the Exotic better, which smells quite similar to this one.

There are many camellia species and varieties that are fragrant - Camellia kissi - lemon, C. grijsii - anise, C, lutchuensis - sultry jasmine, Camellia "Cinnamon Cindy" - cinnamon, C. "Fragrant Pink" - osmanthus. Once I had cammellia essential oil - it possessed scent of musk, cinnamon and cloves. Camellia kissi is used in many hair care produts (oils, shampoos) and they always smell of lemon/grapefruit. Green Tea Camellia is citrusy fragrance, unisex (more masculine then the rest of green teas I've sniffed). It's a little bit similar to Green Tea Bamboo which is more "grassy", airy and less citrusy. I can scent: green tea + grapefruit + lime + strong oak moss note (salty, aseptic, lisol-like) + "oceanic" washing powder + anise (adds some sweetness). I guess the grapefruit/ lime note is the listed camellia (Camellia kissi). The combination of bitter grapefruit, salty oak moss and "oceanic" washing powder is typical of many colognes for men or unisex perfumes (the same note in Dalimix). It reminds me momentarily something from the past - an far echo of...Eau Torride? (but more masculine and fresh).

Extraordinarily clean and smooth citrus aromatic! Absolutely perfect for sweltering heat and humidity. A sparkling opening of fresh citric purity embraced by an elegantly light and smooth green tea accord folds out like an elegant origami crane into an exquisitely blended heart of camellia, white peony, magnolia, clean jasmine, and mandarin blossom. A tantalizingly fine base of delicate spices, woods, moss, and white musk sustains this balanced composition which leaves wispy tendrils of zen-like tea ceremony freshness in its trail. No acridity, bitterness, or overdone sourness here to spoil the perfect serenity. Tranquil, uncluttered summer refinement.

Got this as part of a 4pc Green Tea mini set for Christmas (great for traveling) and brought it with me to Hawaii on vacation (can't wear such light scents at home when it's -40 out). I'd say this definitely smells less lemony than the original Green Tea, and most of the citrus and tea have been replaced with a light breezy floral. I'm not a big floral person, most give me a headache, but this just smells like a really fresh shampoo or bodywash, and is great for warm weather. Makes you smell fresh and clean.

Well, this is nice. Nothing special, inoffencive. Quite bad longevity but if i spray it in the morning it can sometimes remind of its existense in the afternoon in a sudden move. Safe buy but nothing experimental at any point. I think that this would be great for those who cant stand powerfull perfumes and prefer lighter scents.

Despite the lengthy list of notes for this fragrance, all I smell is white flowers with the barest hint of citrusy tea in the background. As others have mentioned, it's reminiscent of a fresh, creamy soap or shampoo...that's not a bad thing, just what it reminds me of. For me, definitely a like, not a love.

Very inoffensive scent with a refreshing composition of green tea, camellia and citrus. Not long lasting and more of a skin scent for me. Love using this at home when I want to wear a light perfume but not feel like I am wearing any. Very cheap to buy.

Very fresh and very aquatic and citrusy. I would best describe this perfume as iced lemon tea. Very innocent and best suited to the relaxed laid-back girl in spring and summer. Go for this if you are looking for something refreshing!

This is a very fresh, bright, just showered type of frag. An easy reach for basic errands, scenting drawers or sheets. Pleasant and easy. To me, it’s a bright sunny day frag. All seasonal, skewed towards warmer weather. These are often at TJMaxx for very little money. Decent cheap thrill.

This was a little disappointment for me, I had a big hope for this perfume but it's a more masculine cheap cologne for my nose. I prefer original GT...

oh god, the yuzu. smells like an old woman holding a rotten fruit.

Soft and clean scent. Although tea note is present, it feels more like a floral perfume. Floral part is light, soft and a bit generic. It kind of smells like a peony, just a little bit more creamy and less fresh. Then there is also some bittersweet and aromatic yuzu in the mix. Lemon and magnolia are noticeable. Easy reach for spring and summer daytime, but there is not much sophistication or excitement in the scent. Staying power is up to nine hours, silage is moderate; leans feminine. Sweeter, less aromatic (i. e., less citrusy or somewhat spicy), more floral and rounded than original Green Tea.

At first very harsh citrus and green tea opening, which softens dramatically after 10 minutes. Camelia, peony and jasmine blend in with the green tea note harmoniously and create a soft, "creamy" floral perfume. There's some subtle fruityness to be discovered, but it doesn't turn the whole composition into a fruity perfume at all. The green tea note disappears at this stage, leaving behind a fresh creamy floral impression. In the summer I can see this being used in the evening. Longevity quite good for a perfume of the EA Green Tea line.

When faced with a line-up of 5 of the EA Green Tea line what would you do? Well I was intrigued by the idea of the scent of camellia (our garden has always had a camellia or three but they have all been unscented). I was so stunned by what I actually got. The sparkling citrus opening is fresh but not harsh. Then after a few minutes the soft floral notes come through. It's sheer and subtle and perfect for a pick-me-up on a hot humid day. Edit: it may be less tea-y than the others I have sniffed but I actually prefer it that way.

This scent is my go to on the especially hot days. It makes you feel fresh. I remember I was trying couple of Elizabeth Arden scents and this one won, and it's actually great silliage and you don't need to spray a lot even though it's edt.

my sis got this perfume free from contest.so i try use it.seriously its not my type of perfume.after a few hours,the smell is stink.its doesn't smell like green tea at all.sorry elizabeth arden.
