Green Tea Citron Freesia

It is a really fresh, citrusy green, clean, soft and floral fantasy !! 💧🍵🍋 I was searching for an effortless fragrance for summer, an easy reach. And this one is the perfect pick. If you find that the OG Green Tea is too green or aromatic for you, this flanker is your solution. Because it is really refreshing and bright, it makes me cheerful ! It smells like a delicious iced citrusy Green Tea thanks to the Green Tea/Mate/Bergamot/Mandarin Orange notes, but made even softer with the help of the Freesia, Jasmine Sambac and of course, the White Musk. I picture myself in the forest, sitting down by a lake, pick nicking with the sun shining through the leaves, and the wind blowing softly through the warm air, sipping my tea while enjoying the beauty of nature. It leans unisex and the longevity is surprisingly more than decent for such a light fragrance, I like that it’s a subtle and pretty scent, and the atomizer just mists the fragrance onto the skin sooo smoothly ! 🤩 AND THE OVERALL AESTHETIC ?! It’s so so pretty, the box and the bottle are adorable 😍 🍋💧8/10 such a cute refreshing scent 💧🍋

I got this for 5 dollars on sale and its absolutely mouthwatering and refreshing in the heat, i almost wanna drink it 😅 I think all the EA Green and White teas are delicious and very affordable. They all smell kind of the same though😅 But very lovely, enjoyable and delightful nonetheless. Especially in the summer. Always get compliments.

With a few exceptions I have all of the GT flankers, and this might be my favorite. It's simple but effective in the fact that it's just pure lemon fresh, and for the price it's a great deal!

Loving Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Citron Freesia! Super fresh, zesty-citrus vibe with that crisp freesia pop! Perfect for spring vibes. Office-friendly AF (subtle enough for meetings), or even pre-gym spritz, light and invigorating without overpowering sweaty workouts. Spritzed yesterday afternoon around 5pm, and I can still catch a faint whiff this morning at 7:30. Insanely long-lasting! Some folks whine about a "fishy" smell? Nah, that's classic with citrus scents, it’s all skin chemistry, pH levels, diet, sweat... you name it. Works like a charm on me (smells like a fancy summer cocktail), but hey, "your TV's busted" if it flops on yours. Perfume's gold, your body's the wildcard! ❤️

On my skin, there is a slight bitterness that comes through with the green tea note, but the citruses absolutely steal the show. The longevity isn't super great, so unless I catch a whiff at the very tail end, I can't pick up the birch or mate notes. The florals are just barely there, and the black pepper is subtle. Overall, it's a nice, refreshing scent for summer, and it doesn't make me feel too weighed down in high heat or humidity. However, I do think it could read as a little to artificial to some people, as the citrus-heavy nature may lend itself to cleaning products or hand soap.

Wanted to try this as drawn by the combination of citrus and freesia. Really nice, rich floral mix when first sprayed on with an edge which to me is the citrus. However dries down to become much more moderate and I struggle to smell it on my skin after an hour, it lingers much better on clothes. Will give it a chance though, not least because of the pretty bottle but I did hope for greater longevity.

I got this on sale after reading the reviews. Especially one located in Scandinavia (like me!), who mentioned how this fragrance took on a fishy smell. I was intrigued and bought it blind... If I focus on it, it does actually smell a little fishy... Kind of like raw salmon, like in sushi. It's not overwhelming or particularly bothering to me personally, although I do really like sushi👍 Other than that... It's fine. Like, okay. It's not too sweet, which I appreciate. It's very casual, like running errands with friends-casual. I can see myself wearing this when it gets warmer, and don't have anything else to wear..

I had high hopes for this. The opening was promising, string tea notes with a light citrus. Heading the right direction. But then, suddenly, it turned into a disgusting scent. The previous reviewer mentioned fish and weeks ago I thought she was talking nonsense. But let me tell you, she’s not that far off. I don’t know if it’s a batch or what but it’s unpleasant. On the contrary, as a side note, I bought Classic Citrus by Banana Republic and that’s a banger, phenomenal clean sweet citrus.

Not my favorite Green Tea flanker by any means. I was so excited to try this one as I love citruses and freesia, but I don't smell any freesia at all and the citrus notes start out rather sharp but dissipate very quickly, leaving a slightly more citrusy version of the original Green Tea. It's OK, but in my opinion there are many Green Tea flankers that are much nicer and more interesting than this one.

It`s nice for summer as a refresher, but has no longevity. Great mosquito repellent though!

Got this from a friend, would have never bought this myself. As someone who likes more gourmand scents I'm sad to say I don't like this, infact I grow to dislike it more and more every time I try it out again. The scent is very fresh to a degree that it kinda starts resembling a mens bodywash or something similar to head&shoulders mint or lemon shampoo. It's certanly quite a basic scent that doesn't give room for exploration or something dear. On me the flower scent overpowers the other nuances of the fragrance. I don't smell the notes I was most hopeful for, the notes being mandarin, peper and lemongrass. The driedown stays quite the same as it appears to be in the opening. Reminds me of those grammas at big gatherings who have put on to much perfume and drank to much champagne and makes you a tadbit nauseous in the prosess of it all. Sorry for being a bit harsh but I had to get it out of my system...

Tried it again today, l think it can be used as eco rockett fuel on a weekend trip to Neptun, l think it's that strong. And, 1 bottle is enough. -Or, it's most defently a bug killer, dont know of any creep that will survive to be sprayed with this lemon-bomb. -Or, proably l can use it as a cloack opener - l will try this stuff next time the water rises on my bathroom floor. This perfume smells very strong and sour of freshly cut lemon, l sprayed it twice on a paper-sheet early today, now it's evening, and my house still smells, no, l means stinks, very intens, but, l haven't seen any flying bugs yet? So, it's a keeper. But, l'm still wondering what EA was thinking of?

I only sprayed it on a paper strip and have no intention to even try it on myself. It smells like my hands after an hour of plucking weeds out of the garden. The smell of grass and weed juices/latex. There are some liquid soaps that have exactly this scent and I simply don't get how people can like it. I guess their sense of smell works quite differently.

I had this for a year and in the end I couldn't use more than 40% of a 100ml bottle. It would be an awesome toilet spray or dishwasher soap but it's sooo green and citrus and bright for human use. Trying to sell lol

I just tried it out today in the store because they had it on sale. First day of winter, and off course the wrong season to try it but I did and then went home. A while later something started to stink and I could locate it to my wrist, and it smelled SO bad. Maybe it's the season and the cold, maybe it's my skin that can't handle these notes but it smelled raw fish!! Herring or salmon and lemon! I've never experienced anything like it before so I just had to write a review. :-) NOT a Scandinavian Winter scent.

Here's my Fragrantica review No. 800! I'm not a snob, and I wasn't gonna save this round number for some 'exclusive' overpriced niche shite - instead, I'm happy to squander it on this humble little beauty. Here's a bit of a backstory. In recent months, I've been on a mission to update my collection with some fresh, affordable, everyday fragrances, for two reasons. First, I moved house recently, and now I commute to work by train or coach. Obviously, it is impossible to wear strong and suffocating scents on crowded public transport (I mean, it is possible, but it would cause suffering to all involved); so I've swapped my killer fragrances for simple colognes and EDTs. Second, I have an officemate who suffers from sensory overload and is averse to strong perfumes. Being a good coworker, I respect the fact that some people are more sensitive than others, and I don't want to torture them with scents that they find unpleasant. So, I packed away my heavy hitters to save them up for some special occasions, and bought two Mugler Colognes, two The Body Shop EDTs from the Full Flower collection, one Hermes Jardin, one L'Erbolario, and three EA Green Teas - namely, Coconut Breeze, Pistacchio Crunch and Citron Freesia. I've already reviewed them all, except for the last one (note: I also want to purchase Green Tea Lavender and/or Mimosa, if I can find them, and then I'll stop). To cut a long story short, Citron Freesia is a very fresh and pleasant fragrance. It doesn't project much, but it is quite long-lasting (6+ hours, which is much longer than most scents from this collection). The opening is kind of sharp/citric, but only for the first ten minutes, and then it transforms into a regular Green Tea, amplified by gentle white flowers and green herbs. Just like other scents from the Green Tea collection, the overall vibe is very relaxing, calm and effortless. My fellow commuters are happy, my delicate officemate is happy, and I am happy.

Finally got my hands on this. Initial thoughts only so far. It opens up quite tart and citrusy, which might represent the citron (cédrat?) note, also with the well known green tea. The naming is a bit confusing as citron is not mentioned in the notes, and I get zero freesia. I can’t say about the reseda, as I have no idea what that smells like. Maybe it should be named “Citrus and Birch”, although that might not be so catchy. 😅 After a while I get a leathery note, which I believe is the birch. I also get the mate, and I find it’s heavy on the tea and citrus notes. It reminds me of the OG and one or more of the flankers, but I can’t think of which ones. Perhaps Yuzu, as it’s somewhat aromatic as well. Will need to try it some more, especially in warmer weather (Scandinavian winter here 🥶) before I can say anything more. I should perhaps mention that I like OG Green Tea and all flanker’s I’ve tried, and have no problem with longevity (use like a body spray right after a shower in the morning and they all last all day!).

This is the original Green Tea with added citrus and lemongrass and maybe some nondescript floral. Birch is also there, so is black pepper, but al in all it's a summery tea scent. Longevity is slightly better than the original. To me it leans toward feminine, but could be worn by guys too. This could be a good budget scent for this summer.

I loved this until my sister told me it smelled like vomit. I guess the citrus is a little too sour on my skin. It’s a shame, as I personally found it pleasantly tart and refreshing.

Really nice. Fresh, soft and clear. Safe and relaxing. It’s smooth and not overly citrusy or sickening sweet. Smells like iced tea. Very pleasant!

I have yet to come across an EA Green Tea that I didn't like. Excited to add this one to the collection!
