Green Tea Honeysuckle

I have and love this honeysuckle fragrance. For years I've looked for a fresh honeysuckle, and very few are available. Avon's Honeysuckle was the best I've ever tested, and long discontinued. So the release of Green Tea Honeysuckle delights my honeysuckle - lovin' heart! There are several pros and cons about Arden's Honeysuckle to consider, which I'm more than happy to share. As follows: For all of you who love honeysuckle but hate green tea, I'd recommend you avoid this little beauty. There's a good amount of the original Green Tea vibe going on here. I can clearly smell it, and my nose isn't all that sophisticated! The longevity and sillage are admittedly poor. More like bodyspray material, in my opinion. I spray this on underarms, fabric, and hair for the best performance, just like you might with deoderant spray. Works for me. ;) But anyone wanting better longevity should consider buying the body cream instead. It's more expensive than the perfume, but probably worth it! I'm smelling a good deal of fresh orange blossom ( neroli ) here as well, which might come as a surprise for someone expecting merely honeysuckle. They balance each other beautifully, however, and I'm very pleased with this addition. The other notes listed - aside from green tea - are barely if at all noticable to me. I positively CRAVED Green Tea Honeysuckle in the early spring, when the air was still crisp and the leaves not yet budded. It fulfills that need for flowers and sunshine we feel during a slow thaw. As such, it's absolutely theraputic! All in all, a great purchase and worth the 10 dollars spent. 3 Stars... 5 if the sillage and longevity were better!

For an inexpensive perfume, this smells very soft, fresh and sweet. I'm a sucker for honeysuckle. So it doesn't last as long as an expensive perfume – hey, what do you expect? While it lasts – it's delightful! I need to update this review. This is the first day that I've worn Green Tea Honeysuckle. First, I forgot to mention the lovely scent of citrus that accompanies the honeysuckle all day. I love it. Secondly, I put this fragrance on at about 9:15 a.m., this morning. It's still lovely (not quite as strong) at 8:15 p.m. of the same day. I am very impressed with this very inexpensive fragrance with such a lovely scent. If you don't like citrus and honeysuckle, then you won't like this. But if you do like them -- this is a great buy and worth every penny. 9:48 p.m. of the same day -- Green Tea Honeysuckle is still delighting my nose as I sit here and work at the computer.

I guess you could call this a "safe blind buy" since the green tea range sticks to its guns (in a good way that is) so to speak. Must say that the honeysuckle flanker is my all-time fave besides the sophisticated lavender version; airy, fresh, flowery and downright lovely! A real go to fragrance for me, definitely. Luckily there are no sharp citrusy notes but a refreshing and elegant scent for carefree everyday use. For me the wow factor is so strong that I already stocked up another bottle even though just started emptying my first one :D

I love this fragrance so much! It is one of my top three flankers along with jasmine and nectarine blossom. I was quite surprised that I love this since I am not familiar with honeysuckle scent. All the floral scents in this fragrance compliment each other and green tea scent is also prominent and blended well with the floral scents. Hubby and I both agree that this is a very pleasant, beautiful and inoffensive fragrance. Good for Spring, Summer and probably even the Fall months.

I won this at Ebay auction with little expectations. So i was really surprised how much i like it upon first sniff that it made me smile. For me it is way better than the OG green tea which i also have and barely use. The honeysuckle makes it sweeter and definitely adds oomph to the blend. I really enjoy that note. I am very pleased with this despite its poor longevity. It is perfect for after shower and before going to sleep.

Happiness in a bottle, and like all happiness all too fleeting! I can only smell the honeysuckle from all the notes. It might seem too linear for most, but give it a try nonetheless! It smells divine.

My favorite of green tea line so far. It's a bit sweeter and more flowerly than the rest.

I read a review below that likened this to a lemon body spray,and I readily agree.It starts off quite zingy,with a lovely lemon/soft floral mix.The flowers never disappear,and I honestly can't say for sure it's honeysuckle,more of a "floral note" type feel.Non-descript,just "floral' I have now given this an hour to give it a more through review.On dry down,I do get the honeysuckle,soft,and sweet,like one picked and slowly drying in the sun,not the sweetly pungent,bright orange ones I grew up with in my backyard in Texas.The lemon scent,which is the green tea itself is still there,but it too,has softened,become more like a lemon cream,I'm feeling it's become sweeter with the honeysuckle. Altogehter,a rather pleasant,and refreshing scent for a hot summer day.It was only in the low 70's today,but I feel it would be just amazing on those humid,sticky,suffocatingly hot days of upper 80's-lower 90's,those days when just blinking makes you sweat.I also feel it rather energizing,and for me ,that can definitely be a plus. So,all in all,a great summer scent,perfect for daily wear,inoffensive,and very pretty.I highly recommend for those looking for something energizing yet not overwhelmingly citrus,with the added floral notes,this is perfect. Sillage is just edging into moderate,mostly in the first 30 or so minutes,then it sticks close to skin,but leaves a bit of a trail behind you.Longevity is lacking a bit,I put it at just barely moderate,3 hours max,with 2 at skin scent. Lovely scent,great price point,excellent for summer,or even just your daily pick-me-up scent 10/10!

Honeysuckle is VERY soft. I honestly don't see this being offensive to anyone. Light, airy and fresh. Would make a good freshening up spray. When I first sprayed it honestly reminded me of Fruit Loops cereal and I believe all Fruit Loops are lemon flavored. So at the top the citrus in this does come in strong but it's a nice smell because it's citrus and who really hates fruit? Doesn't last very long so you will have to respray periodically. I think this would be pretty universally received as a pleasant scent. I don't see anything to hate about it. It's honestly a nice breath of fresh, soft air after smelling most of the options they have lately that seem to come on too strong. I don't think this has an age on it, all ages could wear it but I feel with how light and soft it is that it could be a young girls first perfume with no issues. I'd say it's worth the small amount you can pick it up for.

I agree with sissu! White tea and peach sounds like a great perfume! I do like this a lot though. It might be a love if it was longer lasting. This will be good for church tomorrow, and then I can wear something a bit longer lasting. It kinda smells like clean rich people on the water for the day. I do smell the tea more than the honeysuckle and I wish it were the other way around. The Green Tea Exotic has a weaker tea smell in it. This is a handy dandy little bottle to shove in my purse and use just minutes before entering ANYwhere since it's so mild. There's no need to let this wear down a bit. I like it and I'm just happy as can be with another blind buy again! I'm sure it depends on your chemistry, but the Green Tea Exotic lasted a long time on me. I was hoping this would, but for the price, it doesn't even matter. I'll enjoy this scent right along with the weather!

This perfume screams BRIGHT, HAPPY, and CAREFREE! Very fresh and sweet! At first spray, you can really smell the tangerine and lemon, but that quickly fades and I feel that the bergamot stays throughout. After initial spray, the florals come in. I get all the florals, but more-so the Ylang-Yang, honeysuckle, and green tea. As the perfume settles, the peach comes through tying the sweetness to the florals! Amazing tea flanker and I think I will definitely re-purchase after I run out! It’s hard to find bright fragrances that don’t come off as screechy or even too floral. 7/10 Great as an everyday, inoffensive fragrance. Perfect to start the day, go on errands, and be productive! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ It does become a skin scent after an hour or two, but if you spray on your clothes it will leave a nice tiny scent bubble.

Very, very similar to Green Tea Nectarine Blossom and Green Tea Mimosa. If you have one in the trio you don't need the other two, just pick the one that sounds nicest to you from the notes. They all have that zesty, citrusy tang, the rough edges rounded out with jasmine and that classic, creamy musk drydown that makes the original so good. There are plenty of duds in the Green Tea line but I'd say this (and the other two I mentioned) are almost, almost as lovely as the original. Lasts about two hours, which is unfortunately less than the original. ★★★☆☆

I expected to smell more of the honeysuckle and overall more sweetness. Instead, the green tea is a bit overpowering here. I can still smell the bergamot and a tinge of lemon, but a lot of the other notes aren't noticeable or are perhaps getting overpowered by stronger ones. I feel like this is a more mature fragrance. It doesn't last that long either. It barely had any sillage, but I like it that way. I don't like it when my perfume completely takes over the entire room and it's all you can smell.

This is definitely a fragrance that you shouldn't buy blind, even if it is cheap -- it seems to be extremely reactive to individual chemistry. I'm lucky that it doesn't smell like bug spray on me. Rather, it goes on with a pleasant green fruity smell, which fades nicely into the tea and then a soft powdery musk (leaving the commentary on individual notes to others). It even lasts for several hours. I agree that it's a light summery scent to spray on when you're off to run errands.

2020 made me stop wearing scent - why smell good just for myself? Now I'm on a mission to scent up every day. So, I put a bottle of something like this EA Green Tea Honeysuckle next to the toilet and give myself an occasional spritz during the day. And it's growing on me! I agree that the top notes don't last very long. But the lingering sweetness is quite pleasant. It's a fresh daytime fragrance - quite light and airy.

The name says it all - green tea and honeysuckle notes are all I get from this, with maybe the tiniest hint of orange blossom and jasmine holding it all together. This is not a bad thing! It is soft and fresh, settles down very quickly to a skin scent and doesn't make a huge fuss. Very safe office scent or gift for someone who likes clean, ladylike fragrances.

I only have the body cream version. It's an excellent product. If you are having trouble with the spray scent not lasting try the cream. No one note jumps out at me. It's a soft citrus/floral. If you're craving pure honeysuckle this isn't it, but it's lovely and delicate in its own way. You can easily layer other Green Teas or other florals over this.

Compared to Green Tea Lavender which I also have and like, this year's version with honeysuckle is a feminine side of the duo. Nicely floral, not too much tea, surprisingly. Stays on my skin a couple of hours, but with summer scents it's just fine. Pleasant, easy to wear: I might buy this one for summer flirty mood.

It's mostly green tea on first spray, with a punch of floral immediately following. dry down is more floral, though not distinctly honeysuckle. it's fresh and bright, with a prominent tea note through out it's longevity. it is a really nice scent, especially for the price. but nothing super special

My review of this product is below, but add me to the list of people who want Avon Honeysuckle back. I had a solid stick of that in my purse in high school and it was a day brightener. Not a sophisticated scent by any means but just happy and wonderful.

Light green tea scent with an underlying scent of honey. It’s fresh and floral without being too cloying or overpowering. Something for a hot summer’s day. Makes me think of iced tea and lounging on a breezy verandah.

It smells neither green tea, nor honeysuckle (at the moment I have a blooming honeysuckle in my garden and they're nothing like one another), still it's very nice and sweet, great choice for summer.

Much nicer than any other green tea versions. And fresher.It feels like a summer long dress lady walking pass the crowd

This is soft and sweet. I am unable to detect individual notes. But I think this is a typical fruity floral. I was hoping to get prominent honeysuckle but don’t smell it at all. While I prefer the OG, this flanker is still pretty.

"Compare at $20.00". When I picked this up at my local TJMaxx based on the positive reviews here, I thought I'd made out like a bandit spending only $9.99. I excitedly gave myself several liberal spritzes before work the following day, only to find myself severely disappointed. The initial burst of floral/citrus sweetness was, admittedly, quite nice - but that lasted a couple of minutes. The fragrance then morphed into its next "phase" (and remained there for nearly the duration, unfortunately), which was something harsh and sharp that wrought havoc on my sinuses. Perhaps this was the "tea" note or notes? The eventual drydown was, thankfully, softer, but didn't linger on my skin. The fragrance overall seemed cheap and thin, neither luxurious nor remarkable. I noted the next morning that a pleasant, faint lemony/citrus scent had clung to my work jacket; I can enjoy the same experience with my favorite flavor of Febreze, though, for about $4.99. :(

With "honeysuckle" in the title, I really expected it to be prominent - and I can't even smell it at all. Honeysuckle has such a lovely light syrupy sweetness. I don't get that here. At the beginning it is almost identical to the original GT, then very quickly it morphs into what is almost an exact likeness to the drydown of Ange ou Demon Le Secret. Which would be great for those who like that fragrance, as they can get this one for a steal! You can definitely smell the tea - it just isn't very "green" in this version. The tea is sort of dry and scratchy here, and the floral note a bit ambiguous. There are hints of lemon and sour berry as well.

I love honeysuckle perfumes. But this is nothing honeysuckle.Just green tea. I like the green tea range but this is the worst out of it all. Doesn't last long at all, what a waste. This was a dissapoinment. I feel this is more like ice lemon tea with a hint of floral. There is nothing honeysuckle about this so if you want honeysuckle look elsewhere this is more citrus,ice lemon tea.

For all women that want to smell exactly like honey dissolved in a pot of sweet green tea, go ahead and purchase this perfume. For the rest (like me) for whom perfume means more complex seductive abstract smell, don't even think about it!

Contains the same harsh "bugspray" musk as the Green Tea Revitalize I wasted $9 on. Why department stores still carry Elizabeth Arden fragrances, as if they are an even marginally quality product, is a mystery to me.

For me it is a non-existent perfume. It is gone within a minute after spraying. The scent is light like fresh laundry - absolutrly nothing to grasp on or remember. And it really is gone in 60 seconds.

Neroli/oranges + tobacco all over. This is a "warm" type of freshness, I prefer my fresh scents cold. This gets a bit stuck in your throath. Especially in the heat...

Like with Green Tea Jasmine, the longevity on this can be enhanced by moisturising or layering. However, please don't go into this line expecting amazing lasting ability - you will be disappointed. The idea for these scents, I expect, was to create something refreshing and invigorating that is easy on the wallet and accessible to all. Props to Elizabeth Arden for delivering the goods, affordably without compromising quality TOO much. Now as I am native to a country where honeysuckle is probably one of the easiest plants to come by, this scent delivered something a little strange to my nose. It's not exactly honeysuckle, but it's damned close. As it's more than likely synthetic, this makes all in the sense in the world. Is it beautiful? You bet your sweet butt it is! It's so easy to wear and so easy to like. I detect more of the citruses, honeysuckle and peach than the green tea which helps separate this scent from some of the others in the line. It's very versatile. I can imagine this being great for layering, perhaps underneath one of the fruity Charlie scents or maybe even one of the Chances by Chanel (as they seem to be more or less the same type of fragrance, conceptually, to these... only you pay a lot more). This one can also be layered with Summer, Revitalise or Tropical. Moisturise, and you'll probably get up to 3 or 4 hours. Sillage is pretty weak, but you can spray this with reckless abandon and not break the bank. Go forth and test, you'll love it!

FIRST OFF: I love honeysuckle ! Truly one of the most underused flowers in perfumery ! (Always wondered why?) I treat these E.A. Green Tea sprays as , sort of, Jean Nate splashes . Certainly NOT an EDT- this should be labeled "body spray" or something like that. They are light and wafer thin. Gone with the wind in like 4 minutes or less. Office friendly? This will not make it through the 20 minutes commute. Anyway- if you're looking for a Honeysuckle "fix"....it ain't here. (SEE: Demeter's Honeysuckle--that experts have said is an EXACT replica of a Honeysuckle bush! It's very strong too. Can be layered 100 different ways--I highly recommend !) This was $12.99 at T.J. Mish Mosh. No big deal. I keep it on ice sometimes as a summer pick-me-up.

Compared to the original Green Tea (which to me is very fresh and citrusy) the Green Tea Honeysuckle is a much calmer and more floral scent. Citruses in this version are noticeable, but are hiding in the background, whereas the green tea and floral notes add lightness and make the scent feel very gentle and lovely. It is a safe and nice aroma, but somehow I am more drawn to the original Green Tea, which feels more fresh. Another reason might also be the longevity - Green Tea Honeysuckle is an EDT and fades quickly, whereas the original Green Tea is EDP and lasts a while longer on my skin (although even that is quite moderate).

I recently blind bought this and might I say that I think it's like in the top 3 of my favorites from all of the green tea line!!! I will say this.... (but before i do i will disclaimer that i love love love the green tea perfumes....)most of the green tea arden line do lack longevity and projection but the inexpensive price tag makes it okay for me, I'm sure not others, but for me I'm a-okay with reapplying over and over lol so yeah, if you like the fresh, beautiful, green/aquatic/light floral scents then grab this bad boy it's incredible

My body won't tolerate this one, triggering the "intruder alert" reaction that amps up certain notes. The first few minutes are really nice. I get a crisp citrus with a floral accord. Unfortunately when it dries down, my skin reconstructs this into a heavy cloying sillage and longevity monster. (It does the same with Red Door, so it may be something in Elizabeth Arden perfumes.) The honeysuckle and green tea notes I love, are so muted that it is hard to pick them out. However, the chemical florals screech.

I saw this at Marshall's and was very excited to try it. I couldn't wait to put it on while I was in the car and waited. At first it smalled a bit fruity and sweet bit after a short while it dried down into a very flowery lemon scent that I loved. Iam very happy with it and will have to bring it me when I leave the house to reaply as it evaporated very quickly in the humidity. A wonderful scent. Perfect for summer

I loved the green tea nectarine blossom so much(my daughter also loves it she is 12). I had to order the green tea honey suckle one as well because I love most honey suckle fragrances. This is just like the namesake.....citrus and honeysuckle. It dries down to just honey suckle in my opinion. I love it and I am interested in seeing what the others are like. I would def purchase again. So clean and light.

Tried this yesterday at the perfume counter at Macys. I did not like it, but I should have because it has most of the ingredients I usually like the scent of. But all I could smell was very strong sourish honeysuckle; kind of like perfume that has gone bad. It also does not have lasting power, fortunately for me. I could not smell it at all after about 2 hours.

The green tea note is not that prominent here as in other flankers from the EA Green Tea line. It's also very well blended with the honeysuckle accord. There is also a tiny bit of a sweet peach scent somewhere in the back. I tried it in the summer and found it kinda "meh", but today, on much colder day, GT Honeysuckle is very beautiful soft and crisp scent.

There must be something about this line where the lotions are better than the sprays. I liked the scent of this but it only lasts about 2 hours and has poor sillage. I know a refined older woman who wears this to work and the original but both don't last on her either. I will maybe look into green tea scents in other brands.

Very fresh and a bit sweet because of the honeysuckle. Only lasts one to two hours, but I tried worse eau de toilettes which were expensive and did not last longer. You can not go wrong for the price. It is a light and summery fragrance. I use it to freshen up or when I do not wear deodorant and still need a bit fragrance.

I tried this today. As it says on the bottle, you get a burst of honeysuckle combined with that familiar citrus green tea smell. Interestingly, after a couple of hours, it develops an ozonic note, almost like chlorine in a swimming pool! It's not stunning, but something I'd perhaps wear while running in the sunshine :-)

it is a blind buy on the internet.. lasting power is 2 hours..first sniff on the left hand is headache the right one smells love..it has a different dry down on my hands..i like the lotus ones and the exotic.. i will give it another try a second try a third try or i will give it away...

I normally love both honeysuckle and green tea, so when I saw this for ten bucks at tj maxx I figured I'd give it shot. I was extremely disappointed. It smelled cheap, just like every other EA fragrance I've experienced. I returned it.

Oh Rodrigo, where did you go wrong. I love honeysuckle the flower - this smells nothing like it. Just a generic bathroom cleaner type smell. Very cheap, gone in an hour but that's probably a good thing.

I WISH that they would come out with a white tea scent! Enough with the green tea already. White tea and peach would be a dream come true :)
