Green Tea Lavender

One of the very few Green Tea flankers that I find to be as timeless as the original, while still adding enough of something different. This is much less citrus and white floral than the original, and is primarily a gentle lavender, with chamomile, green tea and mint being the main discernible notes, with the base being your typical white musk woody Green Tea base. The chamomile here is not hot or spicy, it's just a calm and soothing chamomile, and same with the lavender, which doesn't feel masculine or cologne-like, but perfectly genderless and refreshing. I do feel this shines best in warmer weather, as a way to refresh your skin after a hot day or a workout (especially by throwing it in the fridge!) One advantage it has over the original Green Tea for warmer weather is that on some people those bitter green and citrus notes in the original can turn sour in sweaty hot weather, and this leans (especially in its first 15 minutes) much more herbal and calming, making it much less likely to sharpen on your skin. I'd recommend trying this one out for those who find the original Green Tea too bitter or green, but like the idea of a cheap and refreshing herbal/aromatic fragrance! I wish the chamomile and mint lasted longer, as in its basenotes, it goes back in the direction of that bitter aromatic green in its base notes, mostly carried by the lavender and green tea, which is not as calming and light as the opening 15 minutes. However, it doesn't smell bad, just more masculine, and for $13 with free shipping for a 100mL bottle, I'm okay with this fragrance not being perfect. Also makes a great room spray and pillow spray. Lasts about 2 hours on my skin, which sadly is a bit shorter than the original Green Tea. ★★★★☆

The lavender isn't very dominant, but it's certainly there. I don't find the green tea, mint, or any other notes to be overpowering, but each is uniquely present. It is a refreshing and calming fragrance. I got 100ml for $12.99 after reading reviews here, because I've been searching for a new lavender fragrance. I find lavender to be not only calming, it helps me to feel focused when I am feeling anxious. I have a lavender soliflor from Turkey called Rebul that is running low, so I wanted a replacement, and perhaps something with a bit more complexity. I think Green Tea Lavender is very much what I was looking for, although I might seek out some other options. I got this during a very hot July week while doing some intensive training and taking a state licensing exam for work, and it really fit the bill. Not at all overwhelming, but calming, aquatic, ozonic, a bit salty, and refreshing. I can douse myself in it and it does seem to help me to sleep better too. I also like that it can be layered without conflict with other soft fragrances. I don't know if it's the season or just my recent tastes, but these light refreshing fragrances are all I reach for lately. I don't think it has much more staying power on my skin than any fragrance in this category, but for me spritzing myself is such a joyful and uplifting experience that it's almost a benefit. Plus I feel that I can switch fragrances throughout the day without fear of clashing. At this price point, I find this to be a very satisfying purchase, but if it cost more I'd most likely be disappointed.

I was gifted a bottle of EA Green Tea Lavender in early 2019, before I realized what a fun sniffing hobby could be made for my snoz. Even then I had known of the OG Green Tea and was quite disappointed to see a purple flanker winking out of the wrapping instead. I sprayed it on and was still unimpressed, but it was acceptable enough (daily wear freshie) to not be pushed to the back of my cupboard. Now two years later, and with a deeper interest in fragrance, I still reach for it when I go out. Green Tea Lavender has grown on me and taught me an invaluable lesson -- that I am a basic bitch. I am drawn to the boring and the inoffensive. My snoz, as keen as it is, finds more comfort in air dried, fresh scented linens than any heady wowza fragrance. Describing the scent, it comes on quite sharp when sprayed, like being smacked in the face with a bouquet of lavender dipped in lemon juice. This mercifully lasts for only a minute before it takes on a warm and spicy scent of lavender and mint, which to me, feels like a luxurious, stress relieving bath. I can't stop sniffing my wrist when it reaches this stage. The lemon, though not a star, can be picked out in the background, and it dries down to a comforting, quiet, lavendery musk. Safe buy for anyone who enjoys 'fresh' as fresh as toothpaste, spicy green notes and... if ya basic!

Green Tea Lavender is another stellar addition to EA's line for me. The beginning of the fragrance smells a lot like a warm minty chamomille tea with a bit of a floral chaser. The lavender is pronounced in the beginning, but begins to get softer as the scent wears. I experienced a lot of the green tea in the mid notes but it mingles well with the chamomile fragrance. I did not detect any magnolia at all. The tea smell gives way to a dry, slightly woody, and beachy type of lavender fragrance during the drydown. I have really never enjoyed lavender as a raw material as it can be powdery, but in this offering there is an almost boozy quality in the basenotes that I really did enjoy. But be warned, it is a little masculine when the fragrance reaches this point. It is quite longlasting and the projection is decent. I love how calming this fragrance is, like the epitome of aromatherapy for the body. I really will enjoy wearing this one often. Rating 8 out of 10. Suitable for casual, office, weekend, and daytime use.

I just bought this because of the comment that said it smells just like Puzzle by Coty!!! Which I had been looking for something that smells like it because I used to have that perfume long ago, in middle school, because my dad, who just passed away less that two years ago, had bought for me. IT DOES SMELL LIKE PUZZLE! I can’t stop sniffing my arm. It’s a smell that brings back so many memories and feelings. Nothing special, just a fresh smell if you don’t have feelings attached to that smell. I do smell the tea, chamomile, lemon and mint. Now that I am brought back to this smell... maybe that’s what I was looking in Aqua Di Giogia and Light Blue and I just knew they weren’t it. Thank you, you have no idea what it meant for me to find this smell from such happy days as a teen.

I think this might be my favorite fragrance ever. It's the only perfume I can tolerate when I don't feel well so I feel like that alone makes it number one. I have the Green Tea & Pomegranate as well and tbh, I don't really smell a big difference between the two. I actually don't get any lavender whatsoever. To me, this a tart, refreshing citrus scent. Very uplifting! It makes me so happy when I get wafts of this during the day (I do have to overspray this on my skin, hair and clothes for it to last most of the day, otherwise it's more like a body spray) It's the perfect scent for a hot and humid Summer.

It was on sale and I loveee the package!! That's how I bought this. Actually I didn't expect much from EA Green Tea Lavender, because Green Tea original doesn't last long on my skin, only 1-2 hours then disappeared. But this one was different. I wear it today to the office, makes me feel so fresh, relax en clean. After 10 hours, I still can smell it on my skin. Definitely recommended for daily / office wear. Green Tea Lavender has a bit of masculine edge, both genders could use it. If you like relaxing, warm scents you’ll absolutely love this one. Quite long lasting, but sillage is not good.

I don't wear feminine fragrances, but this one is great. I bought it cheaply for my wife, but she didn't want it, so I decided to use it as a room spray where I work. It smelled so great I decided to wear it. In my opinion, this is at the very least a unisex fragrance and quite possibly a masculine. There is a very pleasant freshness to the combination of green tea and lavender and it lasts really well. It has been compared with cKBe, but in my opinion it is a thousand times better than that soulless antifragrance. Green Tea Lavender is an excellent summer scent and can be worn by anyone.

This is good for relaxing. A day off, no worries, no hustle, no fuss. Maybe do some laundry, do a facial mask, maybe a little bit of gardening. Then lean back with some coffee, perhaps by the screen with fragrantica...... And splash more on before going to the gym... A good day off! ;-) This is a nice fragrance. Well composed, yet simple feeling. Lavendar is allowed to stay lavendar, the other notes only compliment it. I never regretted buying this. There is always a need for having one or a few fragrances that give a fresh, relaxing feeling like this does.

Contrary to some reviews reviews below me, I feel like I get a ton of lavender with this one. This smells very different from the OG Green Tea to me, which I felt pretty "meh" about. This is so simple, clean, and calming, it's been one of my all time favorites for over 10 years now. Really can't go wrong with this. I wear it to bed often as the lavender note has a sleepy quality to it for sure. Great all year round, especially refreshing in the spring and summer. It only lasts about an hour but it's so cheap I don't respraying.

I will always have this in my collection. When I am running errands, going out to walk the dog, when I am needing a little pick-me-up, and whenever I am not sure what to wear, this is the one I reach for and it always does the trick. It is fresh and pleasant, nice on a spring or summer day, but also nice when it's a cold winter day and I need something to brighten my mood. Perfect for work or just sitting around the house. I love this one and the OG Green Tea almost equally. It's just my type of scent.

So happy to say that I finally own this beauty! I got it today at Marshall's for 15 buckaroos for a 100 mL (I mean, you can't beat that)! The scent: smells like green tea original with a hint of a powdery lavender. I love lavender and want more of that note (hence the name on the bottle) but it's a touch of lavender. It does, however, smell more fresher than the og, somehow. I love it and will be dousing myself in it this spring and summer! Doesn't last but for the price I'm not complaining.

I love this. I bought it after I tried and liked original green tea and fallen for this harder. smells like a burst of minty flowery lavender bouquet. Might those notes feel masculine leaning for some but to me this is so clean, refreshing, and relaxingly female. The dry down is so tea-like, cant stop smelling my arm. it's a calming effect generator. amazingly blended.

Favorite flanker so far. Green tea goes so well with the lavender. It's a calming, soothing scent that's also fresh, lavender in this smells like the lavender in Johnsons bedtime baby oil lol, so it's like an adult version of a bedtime sleepy scent, only zestier. This turns into a skin scent soon, wish it lasted longer so I'd get more use out of it during the day.

This is that masculine, green leaning lavender, not the French, almost vanillic sweet lavender. This is more an aftershave vibe and to my nose leans more masculine. That being said, I'm not mad at it and really enjoy it as a woman. I wear it to bed mostly because it's So calming. I don't get much of the OG DNA. It's really nice. $10 for a 100ml at TJ Max.

I got Green Tea Cherry Blossom and when I saw that there's a lavander one I just had to own it. I got it at last at a verry good price and it didn't dissapoint me at all. I love it it's refreshing the lemon, the lavander, the mint and the green tea are a good combination on my skin. It doesn't last long so I have to reapply.

This is the 5th Green Tea fragrance I own by EA and it is just gorgeous. Hands down my favorite from first spritz to dry down. This reminds me of Morning Glory (discontinued calgon) but with lavender instead of violets. The dry down is a whispering lavender cloud. I'm going to get a back up bottle.

Lemony lavender with musk. Fresh! I agree with the Ck1 comparison. This smells like the OG Green Tea, but more floral. Not an herbal sage-like lavender, definitely a little sweeter, the variety you would find in baby wash. I really like this scent, especially the pretty purple bottle.

I second NicoleT88's Gap Dream comparison, and the many Ck Be comparisons too. This fragrance is the original green tea with big noticeable streaks of my favorite 90's mood lifters. I adore this perfume. It’s not particularly special but so evocative.

Love it, and def more than the og. This is more aromatic and it's more long lasting. My husband loves it and wears it for work and his coworker asked him what he was wearing because she loved it. def a crowd pleaser

Very calming, aromatic, soothing, citrusy.. I agree with other reviewers this will be good as pillow scent/ room spray to unwind ourselves at the end of the day.

Why don’t they make an EDP of this one? I love the scent but it’s soooo faint and lasts one hour 😩

This smells like ambergris to me! Very aquatic with lavender, mint, green tea, lemon and musk.

Known for its iconic fragrance called Red Door (1989), the Elizabeth Arden brand launched its first fragrance inspired by the green tea (Green Tea) in 1999. The success was so huge that the company has released more than 10 different versions on the same theme. And here's one of them. Released in 2010, this creation has notes of Chamomile, Spearmint, Mandarin orange and lemon, on the top; Caribbean Magnolia, Oolong tea (traditional Chinese tea, located between the green tea and the black tea in terms of oxidation) and lavender, in the heart; Ambrette seeds, musk and birch, in the base. It's not a blockbuster perfume, to conquer or to seduce. In fact, the Green Tea line conveys the concept of relaxation, diffused by the company and its Spas. This is a fragrance for relaxing, to elevate the mood and convey the feeling of well-being. When it comes to the skin, the lavender is more noticeable. But then, the nuances of tea predominate and the Birch note becomes very present, bringing an aromatic scent that is very common in men's fragrances. So, basically, we have a mix of freshness and relaxation, in a perfume that doesn't have great projection, but lasts reasonably. And the prices are always attractive (even in Brazil). It worths doing fractions to carry in your purse and reapply it during the day. It resists the heat and the daily hassles.

I overall like this one but was also a little disappointed with it initially. I do find it calming and inoffensive, good for an environment where one needs to be mindful of fragrance. It also can smell a little bit like a cleaning product or air freshener at first 😅 which is the part I found disappointing at first. It becomes less sharp, as the previous reviewer described it, as time goes on and settles quite nicely. As someone said previously, it will most likely just smell like clean laundry detergent to someone else as opposed to perfume, which could be a pro or a con depending on what you’re looking for! I still reach for this if I want a perfume to soothe me (contains real chamomile extract!), especially when I’m feeling unwell or anxious or for before bed, or if I just want something subtle and “clean” smelling. I think I wish the lavender note were a tad stronger and less overpowered by the lemon and mint, but I still enjoy this. I haven’t smelled the original Green Tea from Elizabeth Arden and this is my first try of the line. I view this fragrance as pretty unisex, and I’ve heard most say it’s one of the more unisex fragrances from the line. All of this said, this is a solid and good cheapie for a clean, light, and inexpensive fragrance!

I was nervous to try this one, because I have never found a lavender fragrance that works for me. I like the scent of lavender, just not *on me*. Maybe it’s because I live in the low desert and use lavender cleaners and room sprays to keep scorpions out of my house, so I associate lavender with cleaners, but also, lavender has a sort of... funky smell on me. Maybe I just need a high quality fragrance. Hahaha, probably not going to go well here, right? Um, actually, GT Lavender is quite nice! For once, the citrus notes really pair nicely with the green tea and lavender. I’ve tried many GT flankers, and many of them are just drowning in sour citrus. I gave Lavender the best chance of success by spraying it over two different lavender body lotions (one on each arm): Pacifica Lavender Moon and Jergens Calming Lavender. I prefer the way it smells paired with Pacifica, but the Jergens feels better and lasts longer. Anyway, pairing GT Lavender and lotion fresh out the shower worked great and smelled beautiful. I didn’t smell funky or like an air freshener. I plan on making this a semi-weekly routine, at least until I get tired of it.

Well this is a surprise after I gave the "Green Tea" series a meh after smelling one of them that boasted of over ten notes but was as linear as pencil shavings. "Green Tea Lavender" is just that - a well done composition of tea, birch (which I thought was bamboo. It is as the accord pyramid outlines, green fresh and a tad spicy with a twist of floral citrus. But the herbaceous quality radiates, not pugnaciously though and I appreciate that. For a person who doesn't quite appreciate lavender, its non offensive and compatible with the heat. Sillage is moderate and Longevity is about four hours, after which there is only a whisper of a clean drydown. Just how many "Green Teas" is Lizzy Arden going to do anyway? And this isn't cheap in my country at $129TT for an ounce. Ouch! Chose "True Love" over this, its more reasonably priced and suitable for its Ponds cream and powder goodness!

Calming, cooling, and crisp. Perfect on a hot summer day for use after a shower, for scenting handkerchiefs, for an olfactory pick-me-up when you're wilting in the heat. Also a relaxing scent to spray on your sheets at bedtime. Completely inoffensive, masculine-leaning unisex scent that is almost impossible to overapply because it fades so quickly. Citrus opening, a vaguely lavender-scented herbaceous middle, and a little musk like warm clean skin washed with aromatherapeutic herbal soap in the drydown. Cheap and cheerful, easy to find at discount stores. I've been wearing sultry jasmines and heavy orientals for the past couple weeks and wanted something light and refreshing for a change. I have 3 of EA's green tea scents, and I'm glad I chose this one today. It's the least sweet, with a bit of that "bracingly aromatic" quality that I rarely see in fragrances marketed to women.

This is a preliminary review as I just received this today unsniffed in a swap.I smell mostly the citrus notes:I get the lavender a bit but it is so light I might not know it was in there if not for the name.It almost comes across more as bergamot.I don't get the magnolia at all.There's a tiny hint of the chamomile but no mint which is ok as I don't like mint scented anything.It reminds me a little of B&BW White Citrus but I'll have to update after a few wearings.It smells just like another perfume but I can't put my finger on it right now.This is definitely a tee shirt and jeans kind of scent..more for warm weather as well.I can easily see how it could be a unisex fragrance since it isn't girly by any means.The jury is still out but will update after I've had it a while. Edit 4/16/12 The more I wear this the more I like it-that didn't take long:)

This is a really nice casual hot weather fragrance. It's refreshing somehow. I actually ironically don't get much tea or lavender from it lol. I get mostly chamomile, lemon, mint and magnolia. Something in it reads as ever so slightly powdery also. I agree that it has whispers of some 90's "freshies" like CK Be, CK One, Gap Dream etc. It isn't exactly like any one of them, but it does remind me of all three in certain ways. It's nice. A 1.7 oz is like 7 or 8 bucks. Something like that. It's a decent summertime cheapie. Something I might wear on days where heavy hitters aren't appropriate or comfortable. On a hike, family trip to the river or pool. This you could almost wear places where no fragrance is allowed. Silage sucks, but the bottle is travel friendly. It's not a serious fragrance. But it has its place I suppose.

The lemon fades away rather quickly and shortly after, you are left with a minty, deep, musky lavender and a hint of tea. This perfume sits a lil close to the skin, but if sprayed on clothes can leave a tiny scent bubble. I’m searching for the perfect lavender scent. A lot of lavender perfumes lean masculine and this one is perfectly unisex, so I don’t hate it! The lavender in this is actually rather strong and sharp in the beginning. So sharp that I thought I'm not going to like it. But the sharpness and strength softens out after a while and blends in perfectly with the Green Tea DNA. It's a stronger flanker from the Green Tea perfumes. I don't love it, but I like it. It's fresh, uplifting and great for a quick after shower spray. People around you will not think that you are wearing perfume, no matter how much you will spray. But you will rather smell like very freshly washed clothes and expensive lavender soap...not in a bad way though. It's great if you are not allowed to smell "perfume-y", in an office or gym for example. It's great if you want to smell good and fresh, but not perfume-y.

My first perfume purchase without testing it on a blotter beforehand — and I’m satisfied. It’s very similar to the original green Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, but with a somewhat greener note. Simple, fresh, pleasant — just the scent of a well-groomed person; there’s nothing to add or take away. It somewhat reminds me of the smell of wet wipes, but that doesn’t bother me. The price is great for such a good volume, but the downside is that it’s not long-lasting — you can spray quite a lot at once and still not get a strong sillage. It’s interesting for layering with other fragrances. I wouldn’t say it stands out from the crowd, but it’s worth the money — a good product.

I found this to be quite sweet for what it is. I wanted to wear a perfume for bed and looking online I read anything with lavender would make me feel relaxed. Looking into my perfume collection I saw I have Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender and I haven’t worn it yet. I gave myself a few good sprays and went to bed. Omg it ended up being the opposite! The perfume is just sweet citrus on me. It would have been perfect to wear for summer out at the beach or picnics but not for bed! Longevity is not great and sillage is a little strong in the beginning but fades after a couple of hours. So on the hunt for a more cozier lavender scent.

Blind bought this since the price is so good. It's exactly how I thought it would be. A refreshing and invigorating simple summer frag that smells 'clean'. The opening is a lemony blast which gives way to your familiar green tea smell. The lavender is super faint, I honestly wouldn't tell if it wasn't listed. If lavender is the reason you're thinking of buying this, you might be disappointed. But for me this is probably the only thing I can bear to wear (and smell) during this 40° C degree heat. It's also a great one to wear at home before bed and post shower. Makes you feel like "that girl".

I'm not a big fan of the original green tea, but I actually like this one a lot. The lavender brings out a brilliance, makes it more airy and vibrant while adding a layer. Funny seeing it being compared to coty puzzle, since that was my first perfume. From memory, it does resemble it, although this one is more light and herbal. A mature scent, although it does have that vibe of innocence. Nice freshie for a great price. Calming, uplifting, clean scent. I actually like how it has a blast of lavender upon spraying, which then settles down to become smooth and well blended with the other notes.

This is very high class casual scent. It is definitely related to the original Green Tea, and somewhat to lavender, as well. I don't get a lavender note, per se, but more the essence of lavender is just present enough to let me know it's part of the composition. It's a more classy and less sporty version of the original Green Tea, still very fresh and beautiful. Tea is still a very present note in this composition. I like it but probably will not repurchase. My mother said it reminded her of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but I don't really get the connection. 4/10

This reminds me of Village Naturals Aromatherapy Calm Lavender & Chamomile. It is a spa-like scent that is aromatic and herbal. This is a sparkling clean and refreshing scent that invigorates and rejuvenates, yet at the same time is soothing and relaxing, making you feel optimistic and carefree. Smells predominantly of spicy lavender, tea, and chamomile; however, citrus and mint are also detectable. I layer this with the EA Green Tea Lavender Honey Drops body cream, and it lasts really well with good sillage.

It has a very good price and smells good. I thought lavender note would be stronger than others (because I love lavender scent and I am the one who is constantly in search of the perfect lavender), but green tea note prevails in my opinion. Green Tea Lavender is not a linear perfume, but the transformation is very subtle. According to my Brazilian nose, it is not suitable for men: it is really made for women. It refreshes us, but it is not enough in very hot days of summer...

EdT: The tea note is the most prominent one. I dislike the subtle mint note and lavender is relatively noticeable. Similar to the other ones but with with different inputs. It's ok and a bit calming but nothing I'd like to keep or use. Edit, june 2024: It's slightly masculine, or it reminds me of masculine perfumes because of the deeper lavender scent, so I would say it's a bit unisex. Fresh and a bit warm lavender scent. Also a bit aquatic and balsamic, not powdery

An herbal addition to the original green tea. I agree with the reviews that this is a rather masculine-leaning lavender, rather than the soft type. I wear it on comfy business casual days but bring it with me for when it inevitably fades away. It’s very linear and smells the same all-throughout. Could be worth it if you have a more male leaning fragrance taste, I can see a well-dressed but basic guy of any age range wearing this scent. Inoffensive

I have this parfume for quite a while, but I still do not understand if I like it or not. I would not say it literally smells like an air freshener, but for me it does smell soapy, maybe in a good way. It smells like a soap with a good quality lavender scent. Anyway it does not have a strong chemical-y smell, but if you want something real floral and fresh this is definetely not that.

For me this is like a Paracetamol in my closet. Not outstanding like OMG but fresh enough to wake you up from sleepy, cool enough for a hot summer day, clean enough for working day or just a weekend while you stay at home. Simply beautiful on women and charming on men. Love it but one thing is quickly gone with the wind but that's ok. At least I can twice or more a day.

Unsurprisingly, this is similar to the original Green Tea but with lavender. It kind of reminds me of lavender earl grey. It’s a bit like Brandt’s London Fog without the creamy vanilla drydown. It’s very refreshing and aromatic and a bit masculine. A little stronger and longer lasting than the OG. I like this one more.

A clean, fresh, revitalizing scent.. Good to use after going to the gym. I find it to be masculine, unisex scent. not even half way through when i gave it my husband and i think it suits him better, even better than i wearing this. If you like the CK one , Acca Kappa types then this one is for you. Last 2 to 3 hours.

This is not so different from the original Green Tea, or from Green Tea Summer. The drydown will be very familiar to those who know the line. Lavender makes it more unisex and I can get mint even two hours after applying, so it's quite refreshing. Almost no sillage and medium staying power.

At first reminds of CK Be but just for a few seconds. In me I scent camomile, a weak but cozy lavender, a citrus touch and later green tea, a subtle magnolia and hint of mint and musk. It's perfect for a summer day,so fresh and light. The staying power is good.

Green Tea Lavender turns out more than I expected. But that the lavender is this feminine and rich! I also get faint minty note, sweet luscious citrus, gentle waxy magnolia and tea. Well blended! A relaxing scent and a safe blind buy if you like lavender.
