Green Tea Lotus

Had this for a few months now, gave it a few casual wearing (few sprays to the mall or to the supermarket), but I wanted to give it a full wear, so I did. 30*C, somewhat sunny and cloudy day, went to a concert indoors. Sprayed it 25 time because it does not project too much and I was good to go. If you spray heavy it will give you a nice scent bubble around you for around 3 hours and remains a very intimate scent for up to 8h. I can still pick it up as a skin scent after that, but I would consider it gone because of how airy it is. THE SMELL - YES!! This is fantastic! A watery-green floral with a clean musk. Smells very well made! Refreshing, elegant, soft and I would say even mouth watering in the beginning. If you like fragrances like Torino21 or Herbes Troublantes, for the 15$ or even less you spend on this - IT IS A BANGER! And for that price you can't complain about the performance because of how good the smell is! This is tailor-made for summer heat, but it would also be a great office scent! Super versatile and likeable without falling into the sweet trends of nowadays perfumery, nor into that old-school, harsh scent profiles. Hope this helps! Cheers!

I want to drown in this fragrance! It’s surprisingly beautiful. That said, I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy (even for the low price) and can understand why it doesn’t have mass appeal. Also, as much as I love it, I can’t see myself wearing it as an everyday scent (more on that in a minute). The lotus really comes through, and I can’t detect the green tea at all. Despite being listed as “floral fruity,” this comes across as predominantly floral aquatic, which isn’t to everyone’s tastes.The best time for using it, in my opinion, is right out of the shower at the end of the day. It gives me luxurious spa vibes, soothing and inviting, perfect for winding down before bed. A surprising bonus: after spritzing this after a night shower, I can still smell it on me, however faintly, in the morning. This makes it the longest lasting Green Tea flanker I’ve tried so far. In short, it’s perfect for an evening at home but maybe a bit heavy aquatic for daytime wear.

I think this is the nicest of the clean, fresh, Green Tea line that I have smelled and I have had about four of them. This just smells prettier and more feminine than Green Tea, Green Tea Tropical and Green Tea Lavender. Green Tea Lavender smells identical to CKbe and is my least fav of the ones I like, it sort of seems like a fragrance to cure anxiety (the Green Tea Lavender not this one) but Green Tea Lotus is more elegant and feminine and lovely than those others and smells a little more expensive and lasts longer. The ones I don't like from this line are strangely the nectarine and cherry blossum. Those are two of my very fav fruits but I don't like them as perfume. My list would go Green Tea Lotus and Green Tea Tropical Green Tea Bamboo and all the others I've tried were less nice that these top three.

I don't get much fruit from this, oddly enough. I like yuzu a lot, and there's a hit of it at the opening, but after that, the tea, lotus, and musk dominate. This scent is sporty and fresh while still being feminine. It doesn't veer into soapy territory on my skin, which was a concern because sometimes lily and cherry blossom end up as soap on me. The longevity is about on par with the rest of the line, which is to say this one won't be with you when you wake up in the morning but it won't tap out after 10 minutes either. After the drydown, it sits fairly close to the skin. It is clean but interesting, and I will continue to reach for it on warm days when I am working around the house or running errands.

I'm a fan of clean and refreshing fragrances, and lotus and tea are two of my favorite notes; hence this fragrance is right up my alley. I'll agree with those who said it's not ground-breaking, but then the stated notes or the price do not indicate gourmand so I do not get it when people expect something revolutionary here. That said, I love the simple, fresh blend of green tea, lotus, yuzu and osmanthus with a faint trail of birch in it. Stays about 2 hours on me but I don't mind spritzing again. Sits pretty close to the skin but those who pass by me or stand nearby can sense a delicious fragrance..Would definitely recommend for those looking for soothing, refreshing and inoffensive fragrances!

Woweee!!! I found this jewel at tj maxx for $ 13! This has taken my breath away with its beauty. The original green tea wasn't my favorite, there's always a bit of harshness with a realistic green tea scent. But the lotus version is fluid, floral, aquatic almost, and fantastic! It has a bit of elegance that makes me feel beautiful in a simplistic way. I do get some fruit in the very beginning but I would say this is mostly floral. I wish this lasted a bit longer though. You do u have to carry the bottle with u to reapply. Now I need to find a bottle of the revitalize version, hoping that its just as amazing.

I have the original Green Tea and I love it so when I found out about Green Tea Lotus, I just couldn't wait to try it. I just got this perfume today and I'm so glad I did. It was love at first smell! It's refreshing but it doesn't smell like any ordinary citrusy fragrance that I've smelt before. You can smell the citrus notes but at the same time the floral notes are also obvious. Perfect mix! The smell is just beautiful! It has much stronger notes than the original Green Tea, I'd say more noticeable. I'm going to wear this scent all-year round.

This is perfect in warm weather or when you just want something light and unobtrusive. Maybe I just have a thing for tea fragrances but this was so refreshing and pleasant smelling to me, although the sillage and longevity can be a lot better (literally went crazy with the number of sprays but it’s still barely detectable). Dries down to smelling more ‘green’ a lot faster on my skin, but even then it’s still enjoyable.

it was a blind buy. And Im happy that I purchased it. It is absolutely fresh, inoffensive scent very weareable for work and every day time. it is not "not for fainted heart" scent, because this one is not disturbing anyones sinuses. I really like it and will be wearing it a lot. Edit: I can smell it on my clothes the day after application. It is very lovely fragrance, make everyone feel very fresh.

This is another light, citrus floral - very enjoyable EA fragrance that can be worn anytime of the day and is very affordable and well made. I think it is comparable a little bit to Chanel's Chance eau Fraiche....it is along the same line of these green, floral fragrances. It is lovely to wear on a hot humid day as it makes you feel refreshed.

I absolutely love this one! It's my everyday perfume which instantly makes me feel clean, fresh and relaxed. I always get compliments when wearing this one, no one would guess that its actually a cheapy. I can't find it anywhere here anymore (Aus) but I'll defiantly be buying it online because I CANNOT live without this one.

Absolutely amazing!I have the original green tea scent which I love but this is even better I think. It's still very green and fresh but less sharp with nice floral undertone and evokes the scent of spring walks through blossoming summer orchards. Very good feel scent.

got it as a present from my sister and i'm so impressed! i find it pleasant to wear on hot days.. lasting power on my skin is like 6 to 7 hrs. kinda strong at first yet the drydown is amazing.. fresh, clean and very feminine! i love it!

very light, airy scent. i use it to spray my room. much less citrusy than the original and much more floral, maybe even sweeter. reminds me of a spa. love it. otherwise the longevity is not great

Blind Buy this stuff only with 10$ (100ml) and you know what? i love the smell... fresh, clean, and lovely smell... it's cheap..and smell's good... i love it. :)

This is a light, citrusy-fresh, everyday scent. That's its purpose and it delivers well. Anyone who expects anything grander than that should buy something priced over $50. This was my first green scent. It was (and still is) a difficult transition for a gourmand/oriental gal like me, but since I blend perfume myself I respect every note in this one. Somethimes you just need that lighter, carefree fragrance, right? Green Tea Lotus smells divine out of the bottle, but on my skin I just get confused. I haven't owned it for that long so I am still skeptic about it. I wear it on my "cant-be-bothered-with-perfume" days and I find it energizing and uplifiting, once I get passed the citrus that is.. I'm not a big fan of citruses so I am usually on the verge of geting a headache until the drydown (it's not the most obvious note, but to my untamed nose it is). Using this as a body spray and avoiding neck and pulse points works best in my case. Note-wise I get mostly the loud citrus, lotus and lily. They are all swirled in ice cold green tea. Cherry blossom is faint and watery, more like something from The Body Shop that accidently got mixed in with Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. However, there is that ozonic feature that is just so refreshing and thus encourages me to focus on the "clean" elements in the perfume rather than the frustrating florals and painful citrus. Lasting power is so "90s" in spite of it being launched in the 2000s, it has that linear sillage and doesn't really evolve until much later (an hour). The belated drydown is pure floral to me, but until that - on my skin - it cries out "Hi there, I'm lemon and I'll be here for a while!". Top notes can really drive me crazy. The first day I tried it on I needed a painkiller to get over it. My curiosity urged me to give it another chance though. I think lemon and lotus are constantly in combat for the first half hour or so and that's what frustrates me. When I finally wish most of the lemon away, I get only the faintness of lotus and some questionable florals.. Oh well, like I said, these kind of scents have no spectacular purpose. They are just fresh and "nice". Do I like it? Not sure (yet). Do I recommend it? Yes, if that's your thing. Will I give it another chance? Yes, I will see how it works for me this summer. Don't dwell too much over buying it. Make the purchase if you are into greens or just need something fresh - period. Not recommended for girls strictly into sticky gourmands or sweet fruity-florals. This is a green scent, you'll most likely detest it.

Known for its iconic fragrance called Red Door (1989), the Elizabeth Arden brand launched its first fragrance inspired by the green tea (Green Tea) in 1999. The success was so huge that the company has released more than 10 different versions on the same theme. And here's one of them: Green Tea Lotus. Released in 2008 as a limited edition (although it is in production until today), this creation was inspired by the Lotus Flower, which symbolizes spiritual purity and is considered sacred in various countries of the East. It has notes of plum, Japanese cherry blossom, yuzu, and Mandarin orange, in the output; Lotus Flower, green tea, Aglaia (known as murta-do-campo, fake-lime or Chinese lemon tree), osmanthus and Jasmine tea, in the heart; Musk and white birch, in the base. I love this fragrance! It has the same type of aroma of existing perfumes from more expensive brands like Kenzo or Givenchy when those bring Lotus or cherry blossom notes. And still keeps the tea as a central theme. Once applied, the fragrance is floral-fruity, slightly tart, and citric. Ten minutes later, it calms down and becomes more floral. Unfortunately, the nuance of apricots, which is common in the Osmanthus flower, I couldn't feel. The base is muskier than aromatic, unlike Green Tea Lavender’s base, for example, although they share the same notes. It's a great fragrance for everyday use. If applied generously, it will have good projection and good lasting.

Starts off a bit sharp—all floral and fruit and no green tea. I was actually surprised at how potent and veering on screechy it was to the point of me being ready to dismiss this within the first half hour. In all fairness, I was expecting the soft earthiness of the original Green Tea and blasted myself right in the torso and wrists with about 4 or 5 good sprays. Granted, it’s over spraying, but I love Green Tea and White Tea scents after my evening shower before bed because they aren’t too potent and last me through the night. So, just wanted to give full transparency on my habit of overspraying scents from this line before bed. Thankfully, it softened within an hour and I was left with a beautiful citrus floral. The tea notes are very faint in this one and I’m guessing by the time I wake up tomorrow morning I’ll smell mostly the tea as a close skin scent. It’s quite lovely if you like citrus florals but don’t expect the green tea to be the main focus. All in all I like it enough where I’ll wear this but probably won’t buy a new bottle once finished.

My oh my...no word can describe how much I'm so happy to found this perfume! I have been looking for a lotus or water lily perfume that smells fresh, soft and sweet without nothing else in it. At first, I was hesitate to purchase this affordable perfume, I was afraid that the projecting will be so poor and it might be as equally as a fragrant mist. I also afraid that the tea and the yuzu will take over the lotus. Well, I was wrong. It start off with a noticeable tea and yuzu but not for long, it turns into a pure lotus with a subtle lightly sweet flowery notes which is probably a lily. The silage is moderate. I have dry skin and this lovely lotus scent is on me, soft but lingering. It is a kind of perfume that give you a pleasure and doesn't hurt your neighbor. Especially if your neighbor is someone who dislike perfume. On my skin the lotus is the dominant here with lily and cherry blossom floating in the background. The tea and yuzu were there for 5 mins. Other than that, I really couldn't detect anything else.

My fragrance wardrobe is mostly "sweeties" and heady floral fragrances, so I've been looking for something clean and a bit sophisticated without fruit and spice. Several times I thought about Bvlgari Crystal, but it's a bit pricey and sometimes it's a hit on me, sometimes a miss. I found this and also the summer scent at Marshall's today for 13 bucks per big ol' bottle. Not a huge investment, so I bought them both (blind buy, because, of course, they are all trapped in locked plastic boxes now-a-days). I do believe I have found a winner in this fragrance! It's DEFINITELY green tea from the opening, very much like the original. Once it dries down, the lotus with a touch of woodiness (birch? okay!) comes in and balances out the tea. LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY and exactly what I wanted... clean, peaceful and sophisticated without being "over-the-top". I find it is stronger & longer lasting than the GT Summer version. I'll use this year-round when I need to smell like a grown-up. :) Happy Sniffing, everyone!!!

I'm not able to make up my mind about this one. There are times I like it and times I don't. It opens with a burst of citrus sharpness. Give it some time and the tea and flower notes come through. On me, these are the notes I detect, and it stays this way. And I'm not able to make up my mind about it because sometimes it feels a bit sharp and chemical-ly. However - there is a however, happily- applied with a light hand, it's lovely, simple, clean and light... Its long lasting, which is super important to me, because I'm not someone who necessarily wants to bother with having to re apply through the day. So definitely good, when applied with a little less enthusiasm than mine on some occasions ;-)

This is a fresh and pretty floral scent that is just a little aquatic. The twist of lemon is lovely, and thankfully it doesn't turn into a dish detergent smell like a lot of citrus tends to do on my skin. Like the entire collection this is great for hot weather or if you need to put a little zip in your day. Mood is a cute tennis skirt and matching tank top on a warm spring day to go strolling in the botanic gardens. Projection and sillage are moderate. By itself longevity is poor (an hour or less) but can be stretched out to 4 hours by mixing into some unscented body lotion.

This reminds me of Crabtree and Evelyn's Somerset Meadow. Many years ago, the old Crabtree & Evelyn had a massive sale before they rebranded. I was gifted a bottle of Somerset Meadow body wash (in a light green bottle). It smelt amazing. When I sprayed Green Tea Lotus, Somerset Meadow was the first thing that came to mind. This is a fragrance best worn for yourself. I like to wear it at home. Sits close to the skin and just refreshes you without perfuming the air around you. It is good if you're going to be in an environment that favours light, barely-there fragrances.

Received this today! This was actually a blind buy, but I had sampled Bamboo, Yuzu, Honeysuckle et al. beforehand, so I was prepared and more or less knew what to expect. It was a choice between this or Bamboo; Bamboo was absolutely great, but I already have the original Green tea, and wanted something a bit more floral. And this is perfect! And a steal as well, I paid just over 10€ for 100ml. This does not really have much of tea in it, but it is a nice fresh inoffensive floral, I think very suitable for every day and office. I am very happy with it :)

I work in an environment that has me close quarters with people. so wearing strong EDP at work is generally out of the question for me. Green Tea and its flankers are my usual go-to fragrances for wearing to work, and Lotus is probably my favourite. It's refreshing, a lovely blend of green floral and sweetness, and subtle enough to not be offensive to people I have to get up close with. It can pass off as a sweet, floral shampoo sort of scent. If you want something loud and complex, this isn't it, but it suits my purposes quite well.

Light, fresh, green citrus floral. A bit more aquatic and floral than the usual Green Tea flankers, but otherwise nothing special. Once you've sampled all of these you realize how interchangeable they are and how few of them there are that are actually worthy of a bottle aside of the original. This isn't one of them, unless you've never tried the ten other citrus flankers that smell almost identical. Easy to like, easy to forget. Lasts about 5 hours on my skin, on par with the original Green Tea. ★★★☆☆

A great everyday perfume. It smells like lotus, lemon, and tea to me but that's about it. I don't get the lily nor the cherry blossom. Very inoffensive scent for the office or when you're just going out for a stroll. I like it since it smells feminine but I don't particularly love it. I finished mine quickly as it has zero lasting power. If you're looking for a safe scent, then this is a good choice. But if you're looking for something that would turn heads, I suggest you look for something else.

Starts off as a harsh floral for the first 15 minutes. Then the soft, inoffensive green tea suddenly sets in and it is almost ALL fresh green tea on me. After an hour, it becomes much softer... a clean, skin scent, with soft green tea. Unfortunately, the sillage is quite weak. Total, lasts about 3 hours on me, sillage-wise. Anything longer than that, I can only smell it if I stick my nose on my skin and sniff it directly.

the first spray is quite harsh and rather chemically, but after about ten minutes, you can definitely smell some of those deep fruits coming through. personally, i don’t smell too much citrus, and it definitely takes a while to smell the florals. it’s pretty good for a cheap drugstore perfume, and lasts a lot longer than i thought it would, but i would still bring the bottle with me if i were going out for a full day.

This fragrance is very fresh! at first spritz, you may smell a lot of citrus. but, when it's starting blended with your body, I can smell the lotus and a bit of lily. and its stays longer, yeay! unfortunately, even though this is variant of green tea, I hardly smell that green tea scent. 2nd variant of Elizabeth Arden, and I loves it! perfect for tropical vibe here in Indonesia :) <3 <3

Lovely scent. I think I smell mainly the Lotus, Lilies and Green tea which I really like. The scent stayed quite long on my skin and more so on my clothes. Hubby really likes the scent too. So far, I like it more than Green Tea Nectarine Blossom. Great for the warmer months but I do wear it at home right now where the temperature is regulated. This is a safe and great blind buy for me.

This is the one I tend to grab when I'm in a hurry and don't want to use too much of my decision-making power at the start of the day. It's light & refreshing much like the Green Tea one but has a more sweetness to it. I have neither received compliments nor negative opinions (like headache inducing) about it so it's a safe choice.

This fragrance is so refreshing. I like to use it when I'm in home after work to refresh myself. I love green tea and lotus. I just wish it stays longer, in my body the scent gone less than 2 hours. But hey, I could spray it all over again because the price is affordable. I got less than $14 for the big bottle here in Indonesia

Is new, innovative and groundbreaking? NOPE. Is it bad? NOPE. Simple as that. Green Tea and Lotus. From the "Green Tea's" i tested, this is the less sharp. The green tea note is well balanced with the floral notes, so is very soothing, calming. And everyday cologne (cause is too weak to be called EDT in my opinion).

This smells good, but on my skin this is so similar to the original Green Tea. Based on the notes, I thought it would be much more different, but to me they smell about 98% exactly the same! At least it is currently being sold for a great price, so I don't consider it a waste of $ to own both.

My third green tea after original and lavender. It is the most fruity and floraly one among those 3.. the plum and cherry blossom really comes through and it departs significantly from that original linger of green tea scent. it is beautiful, feels more suitable for spring then summer for me.

Very fruity opening, a bit too sweet for me. Projection is weak (a skin scent for me) and longevity is moderate at best. I use it as a freshener for myself every time I clean a patient. Typical safe but boring scent, the weakest among my Green Tea flankers. Too weak to use as a night scent.

I liked the original so much that I purchased many of the different variations of the green teas. The honeysuckle is probably my favorite, but this is a pleasant floral as well. Maybe it is just me, but this smells a bit like TM Aura to me without the sour note that Aura has.

Initial spray is quite sharp and on my skin it doesn't perform too well but on clothes it turns into a lovely green tea scent. It smells quite like the original. However it is still very intimate. Would probably still get a full bottle for the hot summer days. Not sure yet.

Clean and crisp. This fragrance is pleasant smelling and unique but not spectacular in any sense. Very soft sillage but if I spritz it 4 times (twice on each side of my neck) it is still not overpowering but it does last very long. But only if it's heftily sprayed.

I bought this based on great reviews here and found it quite a nice floral fragrance. @guess_geogie is right, its a combination of the original Green Tea with a touch of True Love, with a little "kick"..LOL! it lingers nicely on me and I absolutely love this one!

As a fan of green tea, I totally like this one. Exotic but not powdery so it makes me fresh. The longevity is not that bad. I got compliments by wearing this yesterday. If only there was a shampoo which smelled as good as this fragrance.

i've just bought this yesterday by blind and based on the reviews. today is the the first time i wear this and wow it's like a fence of flowers surround me! fresh smelling! i really love all green tea variants of elizabeth arden :)

green tea + mint + watermelon /apple/ pear / raspberry buble gum (=lotus) + fresh ozonic vinyl note (the same as in True Star). My favorite Green Tea of Elizabeth Arden Color: apricot, bittersweet, salmon.

This was love at first sniff! Even better than I expected. This is what I wanted Davidoff Cool eater to smell like. I love it. Perfect for summer. So refreshing!

Lightly floral, watery musk; giving pale blue bubble bath vibes. A fresh towel next to a lotus pond. I don’t get tea, fruit, or sweetness at all.

fresh tea citrussy scent; very light; short lasting thou:( kind of similar to JLo's Still which I prefer better

Nice, but nothing special about it. I like it more than Green Tea, but it's as week and short-lasting like just like the other one.
