Green Tea Pear Blossom

I'm pleased with Arden's Green Tea Pear Blossom. This was an affordable blind buy. It's a clean, fruity floral that I prefer to use in cooler months (others might appreciate it all year round). I steer clear of Arden scents that have notes of lemon and bergamot during hot weather because they turn screechy on my skin. Though unremarkable/groundbreaking, it's a well-blended fragrance. I love the pear note-- it's dominant in the opening and mid, but can barely be detected in the dry-down. I don't quite pick up on the green tea note that I noticed in other Arden scents, but that's fine since I have the original Green Tea. The base notes are responsible for the well-balanced dry-down that leave a clean, soft scent that sits close to the skin. I didn't re-spray this fragrance and got about 3 hours out of it. It lasted longer on tissue that I sprayed and carried in my bag. Longevity is weak and sillage moderate-- you can extend the performance of the fragrance by spraying your top or respraying during the day. Just give it time to settle if you work in an office space before returning to your desk if you work in person. I can see myself re-purchasing this fragrance once it's done.

This is an under rated cheapie. I would recommend this scent to anyone living in a tropical and or hot climate. Over spray it for longevity. 1 ML = 10 sprays & 100 ML = 1000 sprays approx. Citrus notes disappear fast, I spray the back of my neck, knees, pulse points, ankles, inner thighs, clothing & ready for the heat. Sweat brings this tea and pear notes with a soft musk cocoon dancing with the faint smell of jasmine. The bitterness sour citrus notes make this a unisex fragrance. I believe this pairs great with Victoria Secrets Pear Glace lotion & body spray fresh out the shower with some bag balm applied to pulse points. Wearing this scent in the winter when one's pores close up from the cold, the scent will disappear quickly. Safe blind buy, in offensive, helpful to have a travel size bottle if this is your scent of the day. Perhaps, a small decant purse spray, they're around $10 on amazon. In the dry down you get sweet pear, green jasmine. Great price. 💖

My scent of the day. It's very nice. I definitely smell the green tea and Matte now upon my second refresh of this scent. It's longevity is fleeting but I think on a warmer day this might change. At first spray this morning my senses were literally awakened by the crisp pear and citrus notes. Then a bit later I was enveloped in a soft veil of sunshine and pears. I know that sounds funny but it reminded me of dappled sunlight. Now a few hours later it has become a beautiful skin scent with a slight soft musk note that is just beautiful! I could probably wear this to work without offending anyone. I love it! If you are looking for a casual, cheery, scent give this a try. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite flankers. I adore this one, next to green tea cucumber (which is my absolute favorite). I love the sweetness of the pear in this one. Love the dry down on this one. Really enjoy the sweet tea musk on me. I wear this quite often, I sometimes layer it with green tea summer. You can't over spray this one, it's so yummy to me. It lasts about 3 to 4 hours on my skin. I don't mind refreshing this one. It's great after a hot shower too, I like waking up to the smell of this on my pajamas. Definitely a skin scent, but for $12 it is a keeper.

When I was very young I had a liquid spray version of impulse O2. I think it was a moisturising spray. It was the first perfume-like thing I owned. This smells just like it in the initial spritz and immediately brought me back to my first ever theatre trip with my mum where I had sprayed the O2 and felt very grown up. The dry down is much more like the original EA green tea.

I'm a big fan of Green Tea Pomegranate as a cheap and cute everyday kind of smell. Decided to try Pear Blossom for some variety and I love it as well! Smells fresh af which I love. Longevity and sillage are nothing special, but I'm really enjoying this nonetheless.

I generally prefer more vanilla/woodsy leaning amber and oriental fragrances, so I already knew that in my search to sniff out all of the Green Tea flankers, not all of them would win over my heart. But curiosity getting the best of me, the cheap price point and my fondness of the original made me figure that there has to be at least a few hidden gems there. But this isn't one of them. Unless you really like the smell of Lemon Pledge or furniture polish. This is a weird one. Putting my nose to the bottle, it smells sweet and rather celebrity scent-ish floral-fruity, as has been the trend the last few years with the Green Tea flankers. But as soon as you spray it on, you immediately get something that's rather androgynous on the skin -- the citrus isn't juicy, it leaves a taste of window cleaner in the mouth. It's sour and effervescent and almost smells like aldehydes, but eventually that signature Green Tea musky creamyness sets in, rounding out the edges of this sour fresh monotony but not offering enough for me to want to suffer through those top notes. It doesn't smell /bad/ per se, it's fresh and green, but definitely in a cheap way, and definitely in a way that smells more like synthetic citrus with flourescent dyes in a plastic PET bottle than any blossom you'd walk past or any lemon you'd bite into. As someone said earlier, some of these flankers really are cheap body sprays in pretty glass bottles. At $39.50 for a 100mL bottle and with the scents becoming increasingly linear and floral-fruity, it really feels like Elizabeth Arden is offering less and less to justify the price.

Take two on reviewing this one as I really wasn't a fan last time, and I have a feeling it turned rather sour on me because I was in a pretty damp and humid room with no air conditioning when I was sampling it out. Now when I sample it, I can smell the pear a lot better, and it is a lot more juicy, ripe and prominent, however a bit synthetic smelling. Since I like the smell of synthetic pear too, I don't really mind. It's not harsh or cloying, just your classic inexpensive floral-fruity pear note. I'm happy I can finally smell that juicy pear, but it doesn't bring much more to the table than that. Feels more like a teenage girl's fresh body mist moreso than most of the other Green Tea flankers which at least try to lean a little more aromatic or unisex. It's a nice and cheap pick-me-up if you love a '00s juicy pear fragrance/body mist type thing, but it doesn't really do much with the pear and just smells inexpensive and doesn't try to punch above its $10-$15 weight. I guess that's what these flankers are, but to me the beauty of Green Tea and many of its flankers, is that it's still a full and complete and balanced fragrance, just one that you can lavishly spray on in cloyingly hot weather. This is nice but feels like it belongs in a Victoria's Secret or Bath and Body Works. Lasts about 4-5 hours which is on par with the original. ★★☆☆☆

Bought this on a whim in TK Maxx earlier this week. It was packaged in a security case, so I couldn’t test it first. Upon trying it, I was instantly transported back to Christmas ‘96 when I got my first eye shadow, the Spice Girls first album on cassette tape and a bottle of Impulse O2. This perfume, to me, is very similar to the Impulse I loved in my teens. Maybe not to everyone’s taste (a reviewer below mentioned that it reminds them of Lemon Pledge and I can see where they’re coming from), but for the sheer nostalgia of it, I have to say I do rather love it. Price wise, it was an absolute bargain (£7.99), it doesn’t last that long, but for a day perfume it’s light, fresh and fairly subtle.

Budget friendly and compliments galoreeee💖You guys, I didn't expect so many to compliment how good I smell, and it's such a fresh fruity light pear fragrance🍐that is PERF for the summer weather☀️ I also LOVEEEE how the sweetness is expansive and doesn't cloy when sweeter fragrances usually do. I carry it as my emergency perfume in my purse because you can never go wrong with a few refreshing spritzes. Also, the longevity is crazy for something so ozonic! I was ready to give this one a rating of “meh,” because even with the pear and pear blossom notes, this flanker opened identically to the original Green Tea: Citrus, tea, and more citrus. However, after wearing this all day, the scent has mellowed into something quite beautiful and delicate, unlike OG Green Tea. I think it’s the musk and pear blossom that I’m left with. Even though the scent is so faint right now, I don’t want to refresh it for fear of losing the pillowy soft freshness that has developed in the dry down. Highly recommended to put this one on a couple hours before going to bed. Does it project well? No. But it’s such a soothing, intimate scent!

Love the notes and therefore I was so prepared to be amazed by this flanker. Which was a blind buy for me. And yes, the initial seems to be very nice as soft pear blossom blends perfectly with zesty citrusy notes and green tea. Together they create a pleasant, summery and fresh fragrance but then...unfortunately it vanishes almost instantly (well, at least in twenty minutes or so). I've never before had a Green Tea flanker that just kind of comes and goes - and that's it. What a bummer.

It's very nice for the summer. Although it's a bit bitter at the beginning that bitterness goes quickly within a few minutes. It's fresh exactly what you expect from the green tea line. I have a lot of them, but this one is my first bought and finished bottle. I actually don't get a huge difference between the original and this one. It's hard to find now, but if you can't you haven't missed anything, just buy the original. 6/10 in my opinion.

I like this fragrance. Starts off with the pear note but it quickly disappears and I am left with a grassy, citrusy and fresh scent which I like. The pear scent is not that sweet rather a refreshing pear smell. One of the flankers that I really like. Best worn in spring and summer days. Update: The ripe pear scent stayed longer on my skin when I sprayed all over the inside of my forerarms.

Muy refrescante para los dias de calor. En verano me gustan las EDT frescas ya que me parece muy ofensivo utilizar olores dulces o fuertes... En verano simplemente NO! Este perfume es muy liviano pero dulce y refrescante, nada empalagoso ni pasoso. Uno de mis favoritos de Elizabeth Arden.

This is my favorite Elizabeth Arden Green Tea flanker. Very refreshing and slightly synthetic, no sugar added kind of sweetness. The smell of the ripe, fresh pear and pear blossom is intoxicating here and sweeps me off my feet. Love it!

on my skin, this smells like green apple jolly ranchers. this is excellent for me, because I love green apple jolly ranchers <3

Classic EA Green Tea topped with an unsweetened, underripe pear. I don't think that any of the Green Tea flankers smells like a realistic cup of green tea. To my nose they're very citrusy florals with only a hint of tea. This is no exception. But the pear is quite realistic and interesting here. It's a crisp and green pear that is different from the usual sweet pear note found in so many women's perfumes at the moment. This fragrance is very clean, almost ozonic, with no noticeable base notes. It really needs warmth to unfold right and feel refreshing, otherwise it comes across as sharp and unnatural. All in all I find this okay. It's not the best Green Tea flanker I've tried, but not the worst either. Like most of the line, this is best for scorching hot summer days, which are rare where I live. The longevity is not so great, but I don't expect that from a Green Tea flanker anyways. These are made for a quick refreshment and not for a great drydown.

I was expecting this to be a sweet delicate pear mixed with citrus...what I actually got was the smell of cleaning products/air freshener kind of vibe. I do get pear but in an almost antiseptic or cheap shower gel way. To the person below, I wish this smelled like L’Oreal kids detangler, I love that smell and it reminds me of sweet childhood. Actually does anyone know of a perfume that smells like that? But this is kind of astringent, and although the smell isn’t bad, I just prefer not to smell like a cleaned bathroom, and rather just smell fresh. I wish I could’ve tested this out somewhere but there was no where so I just ordered from fragrance.net. No worries however, I’ll just use it as a room/bathroom spray because it’s pleasant enough.

It took this fragrance about 2 1/2 years to make it over to my little corner of the world but arrive it did and I finally got to sample it. So it's just OK for me. I think if it were a tad sweeter I would like it more. It does remind me of the cucumber flanker which I used to own but that one had watermelon that sweetened it up and made it a bit juicier. Surprisingly, this is quite strong on me and has good projection. I don't know how long it will last but two hours in and it's going strong with no sign of fading.

It was a blind buy as we were unable to try out the scent at the store.. Box and bottle were pretty. Nothing special to me. Lasted an hour or 2 on me.. Scent isn’t particularly captivating .. It was like a slightly sweet pear, pear blossom and tea altogether.. If compared to Elizabeth Arden pear blossom to Elizabeth Arden nectarine blossom I prefer Elizabeth Arden nectarine blossom.

I love Vera Wang's Green Tea and Pear Blossom so I'm very eager to see how the combo plays out in this one. This one has jasmine as a prominent floral note so it might be sweeter, and pear in addition to pear blossom so it might be juicier too. I hope it makes it over to my corner of the world soon.

Quite safe, aquatic fruity floral. I don’t get much tea note unfortunately. Pear is prominent. I think of shampoo, not perfume with this. Still, it’s pleasant to wear during day time. It is very affordable price-wise.

Oh this one's weird 😕. All the EA Green Tea scents are on the weaker side, but I like several of them for casual daily wear, freshening up after a workout, etc. I usually love pear scents and thought this would be a sure thing, but on me this one smells 100% like the dyed-pink pickled ginger that comes with sushi. Exactly like it. I don't get any pear at all, and was surprised that ginger is not listed in the notes. I guess it's all the citrus that gives that pickled note? No musk, no amber here either. Straight up pickled ginger. 😂 Love it on sushi, not feeling it on my wrists. Bizarre blind buy fail for me. 🍣

For me, it was just a citrus fruity scent that was not sweet enough. but I think this is really nice for summer season.

TERRIBLE!! It smells horribly synthetic, like burning tires. I'm sure it's a failed attempt to get a sweet pear blossom, but it smells terribly bad, even worse than the cheapest, plastic, synthetic spray you can imagine, a thousand times worse than that.

I love EA Green Tea, but Pear Blossom is horrible. On the opening I can smell something like not very nice synthetic pear, but later smell of plastic pops up. And only plastic remains.

Very aggressively sweet. It has a strange fabric starch scent which ruins the fragrance. The dry-down is the most pleasant part of scent—a much softer sweet pear.

Again I will state for the record the E Arden perfumes are some of my favs, I love the brands makeup fragrances skincare etc etc. What I love the MOST is the Green Tea line, and waiting to see what combinations they will come out with next. I have or have had at least 15 or more different ones, GT Cucumber is my all time fav, GT Yuzu is amazing, Lotus, Bamboo, Nectarine, the original etc etc they are just so good. HOWEVER....ugh.....the way it’s sold in a glass bottle as perfume I find sliiiiightly misleading, I still love them and buy them over and over...but I would say it’s more like body splash body mist or whatever you want to call it. It doesn’t last much longer than those but god they sme good! This one is juicy, I don’t know if I can detect the Pear or GT, but it has that green fresh light vibe I could just bathe in (If it wasn’t alcohol lol) this is a great purchase, office friendly,’ but still great for summer or springs nights. Love love love

The opening minute is amazing. Fresh, juicy, sweet pear. Not unlike L'Oreal Kids Detangler for hair. But then it's gone. There is a middle of random flower (I guess that's pear blossom) and the original green tea scent, and then that's gone too. All within 20 minutes. Amazing while it lasts, but it really doesn't last. Edit: okay it lasted all day in my hair based on 5 sprays. Maybe I went noseblind to this before.

I haven't tried this but its very funny that they went with this name when pear blossoms smell bad. Thats one of the things you can use to help you tell a pear tree apart from an apple.

The pear is lovely but it disappears really quick leaving behind just the green tea scent. Overall a nice fragrance if you dont mind the intimate/moderate sillage.
