Green Tea Pistachio Crunch

Again a blind buy :) This is very pretty fragrance for summer. For those who are looking for a small creamy vanilla touch along citrus freshness for hot summer weather when warm gourmands can be too overwhelming. Opening is super fresh delicious bergamot with a slight salty warm nutty touch of pistachio. Afterdrydown tea becomes more detectable where the citrusy notes are still very dominant however becoming creamier on skin every minute. I can not detect the floral notes individually. They blend in very well and making the scent very feminine. Sillage is more then i expected, it builds a nice feminine, delicate and fresh bubble which is unlikely to disturb anyone thats why its very crowd friendly during hot summer days. The scent is very detectable with a small breeze. Vanilla note is also not loud, it is a slient note to make the scent creamier from within. The pistachio note i can smell only on the opening, i may expect it to be slightly bit more detectable as it gave the name to the edt. Overall im very happy to have a 100ml bottle which i can use generously even like a body splash. This is not a generic boring scent, its also not linear and develops very beautifully on skin with drydown. Very well made. Im sure it will gets many compliments.

Wearing now, bought for _£12.99 on eBay BNIB. Love it !! Softer and creamier than the OG it reminds me of my much missed (discontinued) LPRN Au Fraiche by Guerlian. Beautiful and a no brainer for £12.99. Compliments coming in left right and center , not that I'm bothered about getting them as I wear frags for me , but thought I'd mention it. Next blind buy - the coconut breeze one. Love this line !! Never had a bad flanker of EA GT. Ps - spray it on clothes , it lasts loads longer !! Lasted really well on my white fake fur that I'm wearing In my profile pic . (My God how long have I had this coat for as that's an old pic now from when I first joined Fragrantica nearly 10yrs ago ha ha!! The coat still looks brand new !!!)

Questo di Elizabeth Arden vira verso un fresco té verde estivo a cui rimangono sentore di - come gelato alla vaniglia o granita di pistacchio - e rosa. Per ravvivare la prima bellissima ondata di pistacchio basta spruzzare di nuovo - altrimenti vi rimane il fresco té verde e un sentore di vaniglia e acqua di rosa. Peccato la durata limitata e il sillage - un po' come tutti i té verde di Elizabeth Molto estivo e prezzo che permette il rischio.

I love tea scents. I enjoy a number of the flankers. This is lovely beyond either, has been a desert island scent (“If you could only wear one...”). Beautiful, subtle, elegant, comfortable. I got a backup bottle two weeks in. Light pistachio sweetness - as much a base as a heart note. Green, refreshing, dry tea. Rose - rose water rose, not red or tea-rose. A very soft clean skin musk that I think may be magnolia. This isn’t vanillin but it’s vanillin-touched. Bergamot amplifies the citric high aromatics of tea, and a light middle of powder holds everything together.

The Green Tea line always ends up being one of the safest blind buys for me and this scent is no different. The Green Tea dna is there and starts of potent and fresh and then this blooms into the floral and nutty notes with just a whisper of warmth and sweetness in the background. The pistachio is a clean and almost soapy pistachio and not gourmand at all—thank goodness. I love it! The goal is to collect every flanker until I have them all.

I do like this one. It's a bit odd though, at first I get a quick citrus blast, which I was disappointed in, but then I do smell some pistachio, which smelled great. Then, on the drydown, I get a soft powdery rose, skin scent. This is just my initial experience with it, but I think as it goes on it does get softer and prettier and far from the original Green Tea.

Love it! I have to overspray to get the scent cloud going, and that's when I really get the gorgeous pistachio+vanilla. Perfect with the magnolia and tea notes. LPRN eau Fraiche is somewhat similar in style, but Pistachio Crunch is not a dupe (although you might like this a lot if you like(d) the LPRN.) Fresh with a beautiful gourmand twist.

This starts as a very fresh, cooling green tea scent perfect for when you’ve just got out the shower. Then it slowly turns more sweet, creamy, and nutty. The pistachio note lasts the longest on me despite all the reviews saying it’s fleeting.

I love it, it's more of a raw pistachio smell rather than a toasted pistachio, so it's green and nutty with green tea notes, very fresh and lovely!

I get a lot of the classic Green Tea scent here but less citrusy and fresh and quite a bit of powdery vanilla/heliotrope, which I quite like. I’m not sure that I’m getting any of the pistachio husk here, but I’m also not sure what that would smell like. The rose and magnolia are supporting characters, not standout notes. To me this is a successful flanker that holds true to the DNA while still being different enough from the original to merit having both. It’s a touch more floral and less freshie. Calling it a gourmand is a stretch but I get that gourmands are having a moment and they wanted to lean into that. I quite like this and I’d consider it a successful blind buy. It’s not the most interesting or long-lasting perfume in my collection, but for the price it’s a good buy that’s an easy wear.

I bought the original Green Tea in the late 90’s when I saw it for sale at a duty free shop. The thought of green tea as a perfume note was so interesting and I loved how noticeable and identifiable it was. Nowadays, with the gourmand craze, you can find all sorts of ‘edible’ notes, so it was no surprise to see a green tea pistachio perfume crop up. Since the price was so low, I decided to blind buy it and I’m glad I did. The pistachio note is a surprisingly nice balance to the green tea and I appreciate the lingering vanilla. It’s a nice perfume on its own, but I enjoy layering it with a Dubai Chocolate scent or a vanilla (to offset the florals a bit) . I also admire the simple and sleek bottle shape of the Green Tea line. Many bottles out there are so garish and ‘look at me.’

The nutty pistachio is fleeting with this perfume. What I do get (which I like actually) is honey with green tea. It has lasted longer than I expected as well. I am testing this during early spring and look forward to using it in summer when I think it really will open up. I'm not sure I'll rush out to purchase it again as the OG and the Lavender flanker are my favourites in this range, but it is a bit of fun and I look forward to using it this summer.

I’ll have to revisit this as the perfume ages a bit, as right now - to me - it’s very citrus-forward. Still has a creamier note than the original Green Tea, and the dry down allows the vanilla and pistachio to eventually emerge. I’ve gone a bit nose blind to it, however. I still prefer the original Green Tea over this, but I’d say it’s a safe blind buy for anyone who likes these particular notes. Easy reach for spring/summer.

Fresh, nutty and citrusy 🍋🟩 ! If you're expecting a gourmand fragrance, this might not be what you're looking for. It's similar to the original Green tea from Elizabeth Arden, but the dry down is creamier and nuttier. Perfect for the upcoming hot summer 😌 !

Tried it in a store, inital burst of green tea, quickly followed bY a yummy nutty pistachio note that later dries down to a subtle vanilla nutty skin scent

Wow, fresh and clean, slightly sweet and powdery on my skin. You can smell pistachios too!

UK in January. Maybe not the best time to trial this type of perfume. Quite underwhelming. Haven’t tried the OG green tea so maybe I’m just not a fan of the actual line but this didn’t live up to my expectations. I’ve seen so many people say the Green Teas are inexpensive perfumes but I’d go as far as to say they are actually overpriced body sprays. Very poor performance. Within 10 minutes it’s completely a skin scent that I have to press my nose to my wrist to smell. The pistachio husk is only detectable for a small window of time on my skin and then it was gone. This is mostly a cooling bergamot spritz. Perfectly unisex. Gives off hair or bath product scent vibes. I’ll have to come back to this after I’ve actually got my nose of the OG Green Tea to fully understand this one.

I think this is the sweetest Green Tea I’ve ever smelt. I’m not sure how I feel about this one because it starts off like green tea - fresh, watery and herbal. But very quickly the pistachio, heliotrope and pistachio comes through and its quite sugary sweet. It actually does smell like pistachio, unlike many other perfumes that claim pistachio but then smell more like almond, and the heliotrope is rather powdery. I’m trying to work out of the mixture of the Green Tea dna, mixed with what is essentially a couple of gourmand notes, works or is just a bit sickly. I’ll have to come back to this when spring rolls around to see if warmer weather will suit it better. At the moment the slight sweet creaminess is throwing me!

I'm not too sure about this one, I like the original green tea & last years flanker but I'm not certain I get on with the pistachio crunch flanker. There is something in the beginning that smells off to my nose (its not quite put together) however the dry down is much nicer. It also lasts quite well, I could smell it on myself while I wore it. I'll finish this bottle but I won't repurchase this or get a backup of it. UPDATE After a couple of months this has settled now, the opening is a lot nicer now & blends well with the rest of the fragrance. The times I've worn it I've really been able to smell it on myself which I quite like.

To be fair, I haven't enjoyed the green tea line much, and I think I've decided that I just don't really like tea scents. Original Green Tea was a miss and Coconut Breeze was a bitter disappointment. Both are too sharp and harsh for my taste. Now, I just tried this one on and, although I don't love it either, it's gone in a whole different direction and the sharp edges are off. This, to me, is sweeter, softer, and more powdery. That said, I can't decide if it smells very "young" or very much the opposite. Not quite gourmand, but sort of (?), and I don't smell pistachio. NOT a Yum Pistachio dupe at all. It's OK.

Starts off smelling like the original green tea. As it dries down the green tea disappears and is replaced by slightly sweet and powdery body lotion type smell. If you want projection you need to overspray and spray on clothes. Not recognisable as pistachio. It's meh and I don't understand why it was more expensive than the rest of the flankers. Lychee and Lime and Nectarine Blossom are both much nicer. Edit: swedishmilk15 is right. Once you overspray you do get the pistachio. So 10+ sprays and it should be good.

It's OK, as long as one manages the expectations. On my skin, a slightly powdered vanilla-nut concoction is most dominant, green tea, only if I force the idea. Otherwise frag is a bit generic, but for the price it smells better than most drugstore (less synthetic perhaps). I suspect for gourmand lovers, this will be not gourmand enough, for freshie enthusiasts, perhaps too sweet.

When I smell it without any comparison, I liked it, but when I compared it to the "cherry blossom 🌸" flanker, it gave me a nauseating note. I was about to buy it and I preferred the much lively, cold, fresh cherry blossom 🌸 one. This pistachio is kinda too toned down for a green tea fragrance in summer hot days. Edit: It dries down a bit soapy, too.

It’s basically the same as the original Green Tea. There’s a faint pistachio note at the start, but it disappears pretty quickly. The nutty and tea combo doesn’t really work that well anyway, and the drydown is almost identical to the original. I’d just get the original, this one feels unnecessary. 5/10

I tested it and the pistachio note fades soooo quickly :( then you're left with just green tea

There’s something in the dry down that I don’t think I like. But I like the opening so much I’m going to giver her a second chance. It’s fresh and creamy and nutty, and shockingly unique. Maybe I need to wait for slightly cooler weather Edit: I tried this again, and I really disliked it. It’s like bathroom cleaner and cheap soap and scented hand sanitiser from Claire’s. I’ll pass.

nice opening but is overrun by generic sharp floral perfume smell

Has a lush, dewy green quality similar to the OG; fresh and feminine. Fruity and effervescent, bergamot and orange leaf, powdered musk, citrus, red berries, something creamy, nutty, (smells like coconut but could be pistachio?) Green tea is there alongside lemon and something akin to makeup/moisturizer. Vetiver lends the scent a sour, grassy edge. Perfect for running errands or going to the office. Daytime scent, suitable all year and good for any age group. Leans feminine but certain guys can pull it off. Bought a bottle in Spain end of last year and the performance is excellent, projects loud and lasts on skin 10hrs+. The price is insane, just like the OG it's unbeatable value for money.

This is a very enjoyable version of Green Tea; it is sweeter than other scents from this collection, but not overwhelmingly so. As other reviewers have correctly noted, it opens very fresh, similar to the original GT, but wait for a few minutes and you will be rewarded with a delicious, soft pistacchio note. That one lasts for about an hour, and then the final phase consists of vanilla, rose and amber. The scent is very feminine, not too strong, and by no means a gourmand, because this nutty component is there just to spice things up a bit, whereas the essence of the scent is floral. I will certainly buy it in a month or so, to have it ready for the summer.

The opening is fresh & citrusy, the dry down is a bit weird, i can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s like a powdery citrus? Luckily, that fades quickly and it turns into a slightly nutty, warm vanilla skin scent. It’s lovely! Lasts quite a while on the skin, i’d say about 6 hours, even longer on clothes. UPDATE 10 months later: The powdery citrus i was describing is gone. I dont know what happened, but this is now such a lovely milky tea scent. Its clean and comforting, kind of lotion-like in a good way! Not screechy at all. I love it even more now!!

Have had and worn it for a couple of days now. A perfect blend of green tea and warmth/sweetness/creaminess (rather than fruity/floral). Silage and longevity are good or at least as expected with an EdT. I mostly smell the green tea and pistachio, perhaps a hint of bergamot to enhance the tea note and a hint of heliotrope/vanilla to enhance the pistachio note. Great if you love/like the Green Tea series but want something warmer, more than just a freshie. An all year round scent I would say.

Whoa! For a $20 AUD flanker, this is an absolute standout. The pistachio note is shockingly photorealistic—it’s nutty and authentic without veering into that 'fake' gourmand territory. While the longevity is typical for an Elizabeth Arden fragrance (it’s a light wear, so no surprises there), it’s a total underrated gem. This is a crowd-pleaser that belongs in everyone's collection.

I'm a middle aged, Heterosexual, Musculine, Married, East African man obsessed with the DNA of Elizabeth Arden Green tea. I've been an avid follower for the last 20 years. I basically have all the flankers, almost 8 or 9 of them... And I'm constantly searching for new flanker. Plus few bottles of the OG. I don't care if it's made for women. I'll wear it until I die. I love it.

I love the fragrance - second everything ElleZ has already said. Bought the body cream - Green Tea Pistachio Honey Drops - and this is very long lasting. Five hours since I applied and still going strong. I've found all of these Honey Drop creams to be the same in strength and I usually buy them instead of the perfume. Plus you get a huge pot, 500 ml, for about £26.

This is my first Green Tea flanker that I have bought. I don't smell the pistachio, but that makes it even better for me. Its a beautiful fresh, clean, tea, very powdery scent. Perfect for any occasion and perfect with the Green Tea body cream. I want to collect all the flankers.

I was surprised at how pleasant this scent is. It's a mix of pistachio, vanilla and tea on my skin. Well blended and mildly refreshing. It's not strong but I smell the scent around me. Definitely worth a try considering the price. The bottle is beautiful.

This is really nice. It’s soft, creamy and smooth and not overly sweet. I couldn’t detect much pistachio, but it’s ok, the scent is still gourmand enough. It’s a crowd pleaser for spring and summer.

Somewhere between fresh and gourmand, really interesting. I didn't love the initial spray but it dried down really pleasant on my skin and lasted a while.

Pistachio where?? I get a musky ricey quality but I wouldn’t call it pistachio. Like the og EA Green Tea but with a little genmaicha flair
