Green Tea Sakura Blossom

True to its name, sakura plays a leading role in this fragrance. The opening is a curtain of bergamot and mandarin orange which is pulled back to reveal the lovely cherry blossom. There’s almost a lactonic quality to this EDT, soft tendrils of milk or cream despite no traces of it in the scent profile whatsoever - perhaps due to the sweet almond. The other notes are well-blended together and indistinguishable. A scent for all seasons. This scent lacks the powdery - and, at times, sharp - pungency of other cherry blossom scents such as Bath and Body Works’ famous Japanese Cherry Blossom - Sakura Blossom is a more demure and subtle scent, and all the better for it. The blossom shines almost on its own. This is a lovely fragrance, soft, delicate, and tender. The spring sun is shining. A tree blooms in the distance and the wind brings its scent home to you.

I purchased this as a blind buy as I do with a lot of my cheaper perfumes, and I’m so glad I did. It smells exactly like a spa - both my mum and husband gave me compliments on it when I wore it for the first time today! It smells fresh, clean, citrus, and you can smell the hint of green tea. I genuinely love how this fragrance smells, and it’s so calming. I’ve already purchased more in the green tea collection as this is so good! It doesn’t last a super amount of time - around 3 hours. However, I don’t mind this as it was about £11 for 100ml. Update: after using this for a few weeks, I actually love it. I’ve had so many compliments from people when I’ve been wearing it. I’ve also purchased one for my sister for her birthday because she fell in love with it when she smelt it on me. My favourite from the green tea line so far!

This beautiful colored bottle won me over today, so, it came home with me. I tested it some days ago, and, I thought it was good, and, when I came home, even better! The green tea is there as a background painting, so fresh and it smells sooo goood on my skin :)) And yes, there are these flowers here, smelling lovely and very fresh cut, the flowers are so well blended, and also I can smell them apart from each other, the Cherry-flowers, the sjasmin and peony. In the drydown, I also can smell the musk, and something sweet, as I think is the almond. This perfume will be perfect for springtime, and it for sure will be replaced with a new bottle when the summer is over :)) This perfume is fit for everybody in this Universe, young and old, and both men and womans ;))

I have several of the Green Tea flankers, and this one is my favorite. It's fresh and shampoo-like. I love the standard fantasy cherry blossom note, and tea is my favorite note, so I figured I would like this! It's of course a highly synthetic scent, but it's not at all cloying. I find it comforting and extremely relaxing, really unfussy and very wearable. I also find it's performance to be adequate (obviously not a heavy hitter, but it certainly doesn't disappear right away!) It smells youthful, but not juvenile.

Soft Florals, Sweet Cirrus, Light and Airy This is an incredibly lovely scent to throw on if you want to smell light and fresh! I love wearing this around the house especially in the colder spring months, when the weather gets too warm the perfume becomes too cloying. It doesn't last very long, but it sticks to clothes really well. Silage: Light Longevity: 1-2 Hours

It's a generic sweet floral, one with poor longevity and fairly limited projection. It's nice, fresh and clean, but not one to go crazy about. If you want to feel fresh and clean after a shower, this is perfect. Not one of the best from the GT line.

I honestly prefer this scent over the original green tea. This has easily become a favourite fragrance. It’s more feminine and sweet than the original. Not candy sweet, but it has a sweetness in comparison.

I LOVE this fragance, I only wish it lasted longer.

The cherry blossom note is fleeting, but it adds a soft, slightly powdery floral quality that makes it feel a touch more feminine and delicate than the original Green Tea. It's less citrusy than classic Green Tea, which I actually appreciate. It feels a little warmer and more rounded as a result. That said, if you're going in expecting a dramatic transformation, you'll be disappointed. This is Green Tea at its core, just wearing a light pink dress. The differences are subtle enough that side-by-side you'd clock them, but worn on their own you might forget which one you're wearing. Performance is the real weak point. Longevity and sillage are both poor, even by this line's already modest standards. It becomes a skin scent pretty quickly and doesn't project much to begin with. Reapplication is basically mandatory. Wear Green Tea Sakura in the spring, and the original Green Tea in the summer.

I saw it today first time in the shop and I tried it.. I'm not the biggest fan of the original Green Tea but I always try the flankers hoping to find one that suits my taste. I somewhat like 'Summer' and 'Cherry Blossom' but I wouldn't bother with the other ones really. This one is the version I could most associate with young girls or women who want to feel young without spraying on something sickly sweet or fruity. The famous green tea note slaps you in the face as you freshly spray it on, but it dissipates within 15 minutes or so and you are left with flowers, musk and something kind of marine.. It reminds me a bit of Cabotine Floralie by Gres, with a bit of green tea of course. It's also surprisingly long lasting compared to the other flankers, although it's mainly the green tea note that stays with you unfortunately.. Not bad, nice try!

Nice, refreshing green tea and sakura blossoms floral scent. This isn't harsh and has delicate nuances. If you want it to last, this one needs to go with you. Lasts about 3 hours on skin in high humidity and 89 degree temperatures. Good summer pick me up scent. As for cherry blossoms, this may be interesting information for some: "Although the scent of cherry blossoms is so faint, you almost can't smell it. When pickling the leaves and petals, the coumarin, a chemical found in cherries as well as many other plants, is brought to the surface, giving it a vanilla, floral, earthy, and slightly bitter scent."

Uuuuuh! This is such a good flanker! Green Tea is one of my all time favorite summer fragrances, so after seeing the notes of this one, I decided to buy blind this fragrance and I’m very surprised! While, Green Tea is more citrusy, fresh and sparkling, this one is lighter, a little bit more floral due to cherry blossom and sweeter due to the almond! 🌸 in my opinion is not very similar to the original one, but it's such a beautiful, clean girl scent, perfect for summertime and very cheap! Tell me one reason why you don't wanna to try this scent? 🥰🫠

Definitely a daytime scent, but I've been wearing this straight out of the shower at night and have been loving it lately. It's very clean without any sharpness. On my skin it smells a bit aquatic, almost like rosewater but without the rose smell if that even makes sense lol... like cherry blossom water. I also find this lasts quite a while as I can still smell this on my clothes when I wake up in the morning. This is a lovely, fresh scent that I will 100% be repurchasing given how affordable it is.

Ughhhh it smells so good and fresh and green and floral and then... poof, it's gone. Really doesn't last very long at all. For the price, and it being an EDT, I guess I'm not surprised. It isn't in any way a groundbreaking or challenging scent, not a real thinker. Smells fresh and floral. But hell it's like $10, and it sure doesn't smell bad. I sometimes use it when I feel like I may want to change up my scent later in the day.

I like this perfuuumee! It is very subtle tho, and it doesn`t last very long. It`s very suitable for daytime - school or office wear. Cool for summer and spring. I smell floral and fresh after I spray my skin, and i don`t know if I`m clear with this one, but the packiging doesn`t decieve. I feel like the perfume actually smells blue and pink. If you just want a nice and not overwhelming floral scent, this might be for you.

It smells sooo good, like freshly cut grass after rain + trees in bloom during spring! Clean, uplifting, calming. I love it! The projection is not great. The longevity, though... I could still feel it in the crook of my arm after cardio, and even now that I've showered, there's still hints of it (the musk base) there. Great freshie for the gym and hot summers. I'm happy I got it. ♡

Blind buy, when I tried it I found the flowers very fresh cut smelling when initially sprayed on, almost sharp though. It mellowed down a little and then I could discern the green tea, the peony, which I love, and the jasmine, which was nice. The dry down is very nice, light musk, very comfortable to me. I do however prefer the original Green tea perfume more.

smells a bit like a nice shampoo. very fresh, floral maybe a bit synthetic and soapy but inoffensive and good for work/school as a nice fresh floral scent. personally I think the original green tea scent is best but I still like this and will probably buy it again as it was only £11 and such pretty packaging

Yes! 🌸💚🌸💚🍃🍃🍃 I prefer this to any green tea flankers. It's intense, fresh, lively, cold, with a cherry blossom twist and prominent green tea, without being the typical "drugstore" fragrance. Good for hot sunny summer days ☀️☀️☀️ (or late spring and early autumn). Daytime only.

This perfume is pleasant. Living in Fl and being an EDT - I recommend it for hot days. This reminds me of Burberry Her Blossom. I got this from Marshall's for $10 & it is a nice substitute since Her Blossom ONLY comes in EDT not EDP as of yet. I would buy again.

for my mom who prefers either rose or tea scents it ́s a very nice flanker more floral and sweeter than the og and less citric green tea clears the white tea by a lot

Fresh fruity floral. Nothing here to dislike. Lasts 3 hours on skin.

If you're looking for a Green Tea flanker with cherry and/or sweet almond, I recommend skipping over this and picking up Green Tea Cherry Blossom instead, which has an almost identical name and actually makes an effort to live up to what the notes promise.. The sakura blossom here is barely perceptible and the almond nonexistent -- Sakura Blossom has a lot less individuality than both Cherry Blossom and the original and it comprises a polite, but generic shampoo scent that's predominantly bergamot and jasmine, before settling into a familiar dry down that's 90% similar to the original Green Tea. Compared to the original Green Tea, the opening of Sakura Blossom is slightly sweeter, (though not as much as Cherry Blossom), more powdery (moreso than Cherry Blossom) and it lacks the herbal greens and white florals of the original. A rather middle-of-the-road and boring, but perfectly agreeable freshie bergamot jasmine. Not as good as the original Green Tea and also not as true to its name as Cherry Blossom. Ultimately a rather forgettable and pointless flanker, but they virtually all share in common smelling fresh and effortless and easy-going. ★☆☆☆☆

Takes ne back to my study abroad in Japan and The sakura festival i went to. My allergies quickly took over but the scent reminds me of what I could smell before my nose clogged. It however is more reflective of the delicious sakura flavored milk, waffle and frappuccinos I enjoyed. The tea note, as always smells like delicious green tea, which I am drinking as I write this I think ill be some sakura flavoring to add to my green tea lol. Anyway if you like the original you'll probably like this. The original is a staple in my family, my mommom and my mom both used it and I'd spray it on myself in secret as a child there are tons of longer lasting better scents out there but the memories made me want a green tea flanker of my own, my mom is currently enjoying the coconut one herself lol. It's a timeless cheap classic if you like tea and want a fresh scent. And it makes a decent enough bedtime scent so find yourself one.

exactly like scented (unused) women's sanitary pads; i wore this out once and my friends all agreed on that, it's uncanny how closely it resembles them....!!!! it's nice but a bit boring, powdery yet a bit bitter/astringent, and if i sniff it right away it does make my sinuses itch. the green-ness isn't all that well blended with the florals and powdery notes; it does feel a bit like i have my nose stuck in a sanitary pad doused in alcohol while someone's mowing the lawn. the drydown is much more agreeable, though nothing worth talking about - very wet wipe-like. compared to the original, there's little to no citrus tartness and no masculine undertone; this is very soft feminine, the og is unisex in my vision. this would work much better in a lotion, with the astringent grassy notes tamed down, like a soft clean skin scent.

I can't really pick up the fragrance. Compared to the OG it is much lighter even though the OG is already light. It is leass citrusy and more floral, airier and sweeter. I will need hotter weather for a better take but at the moment seems like a unsuccessfull blind buy.

This is a big yawn for me; a generic, vague flowery smell with all the power and sophistication of a supermarket bodyspray. I now use it as a room fragrance. Sometimes.

Generic, inoffensive, geriatric, laundry-like. I spray this on my clothes to freshen up when they haven't been washed for a few days but I can't recommend it...

Bought on a whim and won’t repeat. Inoffensive, but not for me. Too sweet and bland.

I blind bought this since it was so new and I didnt want to have any influences. Its oook its fresh and floral opening, a little sharp but tolerable. I don't smell any of the almond which is disappointing almond and blossom is why I blind bought it. It doesn't smell as sweet on my skin as it did on someone else but its still just meh. I find the dry down giving my this scent of dirtiness. I did wear this in the sun in the middle of Florida summer the blossom barely last. Though getting home after scrubbing down I still had this smell of dirtiness. I felt I had to add this edit. I tried the Burberry Her Blossom. The floral is very similar to me, minus the green tea, which I don't think it agrees with me in this fragrance. The Burberry has a bit of an artificial sweetness but it doesn't hit as sharp or fake as this one does. I know I said I was done with the BB brand but if I had to chose between the two I'd go with BB.

it rained heavily last night. the blooming sakura flowers got washed away far from the tree. They landed on a damp rattan mat. On the next day, the sun is up, everrr so brightly, and it shines on the almost wilted sakura flowers on the damp mat. So..thats how this perfume smells like ~ dying sakura on damp rattan mat under the hot sun. It's ...horrendous.

Fine for when you want to smell "clean" or "fresh", but it is synthetic smelling. Slight plastic-y undertone. I would not repurchase.

This smells to me like a generic fresh body spray.

This is really bad, literally makes my nose turn. It's so strong that even taking small whiffs from a distance hurts. Synthetic floral sweetness and some ozonic quality are turned up to the max. So far the worst Green Tea flanker I've tried, it's like a cheap shower gel that's expired. And of course it lasts all day long, which happens often for scents I don't like.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cherry Blossom is one of the few fragrances that truly captures the realistic scent of sakura—light, airy, and refreshingly natural, without excessive sweetness or artificiality. I searched for something similar in Shiseido’s Ginza line and Escada’s Cherry in Japan, but neither delivered the soft, fresh simplicity that Elizabeth Arden has achieved here. It may not have the complexity of luxury fragrances, but as an affordable, well-balanced floral, it’s a fantastic choice. Plus, the pastel-hued bottle beautifully reflects its delicate and breezy charakter.

I fell down the EA Green Tea rabbit hole a while ago and while I find the OG to be fairly screechy and uninteresting, I love freshies to such an extent that I'm not mad at about the money I spent to own it, and I wear it often and bought a few flankers. Sakura Blossom is one I ended up giving away owing to its abysmal longevity (even for an EAGT flanker), non-descript floral (I got no peony or jasmine, favorites of mine), and some musk in the drydown that bothered me. To add insult to injury, I bought the cream to go with and it doubled the trouble. This line of frags is so affordable, it's a no brainer to give any one of them a try, if simply for the education. Unfortunately, this wasn't one I enjoyed.

Initially, this is almost identical to Tommy Girl, it has the same fresh, almost screechy citrus/floral opening. The dry down is softer, turning into a semi-realistic cherry blossom. I also pick up on a lily of the valley note, even though it’s not listed, but that might just be me! Longevity is weak, but that is to be expected. Overall, it’s a nice everyday scent, not very similar to the original green tea, but a fresh citrusy floral that’s perfect for spring!

This is nice. A pleasant fruity fragrance for hot days. The opening is very shampooish, later it turns into a strong cherry scent. May be too sweet for some. It reminds me of the cherry blossom fragrances from L’Occitane en Provence. If you like those, you will like this one too.

I had to give it away, because all I could think when spraying this was that I smell like my mother in law. I was suprised to see almond on the list - couldn’t pick that up at all. Very blah.

Starts bit cheap smelling and slightly vintage fruity floral, but the drydown is pretty nice, musky and woody, reminds me of the pharmacy distributed perfumes from Spain and Latam

It smells like fresh cut grass but I agree with the previous comment it is very pungent ,screechy and it turns sour on me like an expired shower gel :(

I think this will be a blind buy for me. I think I am a bit won by the pretty bottle and the colour matching with the scent notes on this page!

i guess its gonna be in the same vain as all the others EA Green Teas...anyway i'm excited about the almonds and birch
