Green Tea Tropical

Lovely fresh, zesty and fruity green tea flaker. The fruits are not overly sweet, but more on the zesty side. So it has more of a lemony, citrussy feel to it. I love it. Again, it's a green tea perfume, meaning that it's more of a body mist rather than powerhouse perfume with long lasting power and high sillage. But as it's just a bit more than £10 per 100ml bottle it doesn't really matter if it performs super well or not. See it more as a refresher mist. Also fantastic as room freshener as it doesn't have a musky, powdery body. Meaning it doesn't leave a typical heavy musky perfume trail in the air after an hour, but only a zesty fresh mist. So if you need your room to be smelling very clean and fresh, then this is a brilliant room spray, too.

Great EA Green Tea flanker. Lots of litchi and passionflower in the head notes. Most of the green tea is packed into the heart notes, I didn't pick up on the magnolia. The drydown is wonderful. I like the whole concept of musk with a fruity drydown. I'd like to find other fragrances with this type of basenote! The sandalwood/amber/musk thing gets old after a while. This is somewhat different. I've had this fragrance on since 10am and it's 7pm now and it is still going pretty strong for me. I like it, then again, I'm an 'Arden Girl' and most EA fragrances really work for me. This version was really hard to find though. Today was the test drive and I think it will be in heavy rotation during the summer months. I rate it 9 out of 10.

Surprisingly, I really like this way more than I should. I pretty much love any of the Green Teas - the base is just very appealing to me. And while this one doesn’t smell expensive, it’s very clean and fresh, like the cleanest of laundry, soap and other hygienic things. Once it calms down, there’s a less clean fruitiness to it but it’s not all cloying the way some tropical notes can go a bit rotten. I do find it stings my nose, which I haven’t experienced with any other fragrance!? I bought a spare bottle to keep in the car as a seat freshener so perhaps I wouldn’t recommend you make this your signature scent but I absolutely love it as an uplifting and clean smelling spritz.

Lovely summery fragrance. Light, well balanced. For me the magnolia is at the forefront , followed by a light lingering sweet, slightly herbaceous tea dry down to a citrusy musk. It's odd, but the dry down reminds me of a clean, musky, natural, sweet skin scent, sort of a clean sweat, but not offensive. I'd say its sexy in a female pheromone manner. It must be the tea, citrus and musk combination. My guess is that everyones body chemistry reacts differently, I don't get the dryer sheet or hairspray scent that some others do or much floral. It's a close to the skin sexy, sweet feminine fragrance. Its a keeper for me. I'd purchase this again.

I bought this as something different to wear in Brisbane Australia during spring summer and I think it's going to be good. Having worn it on a mild winters day it is lovely. Just enjoy juicy fruit sweetness which mellows out to a nice musk skin scent. This was a cheap blind buy from Chemist Warehouse and it hasn't disappointed. I can still smell the musk at the end of the day.

This is such a great, refreshing summer scent. Here in Australia on the hottest days this feels so fresh to wear. It’s also a great scent for the medical field also as it is not too strong, just “pleasant”. It is very affordable so if I do want to project more, I just spray a little more. This will always be a staple in my perfume collection.

Fresh, cooling and subtly fruity. I like it that the fruit scent in this perfume is not overwhelming, yet it still has that juicy, fun, beachy feel to it. Love it.

Zesty and fresh green tea scent. It has the sweetness of the tropical accords but they are not overpowering. Another stunning tea from Elizabeth Arden

i just got this perfume today,i didn ́t try it on before so i just bought it blind. I have to say this was a very refreshing scent and i feel clean when i sprayed it on. I think this scent is perfect after showers and i also think this one is a perfect perfume to layer on. it does really smell like green tea, but to me the tropical notes doesn ́t really show... i would totally recomend this for people that search after a fresh perfume, great for everyday use! from my expectasions to be a casual perfume ill give it a 5/5. super fresh! maybe 4/5 just because i didn ́t get the tropical part as much as i hoped for..

This one’s pretty and much milder than the original, I think because the citrus has been dialed down. The fruit and tea are well-blended; I almost get a sangria vibe from this. It’s not too sweet or cloying. Like most of the GT flankers I’ve tried so far, this one makes a great after-shower scent. Its projection and longevity are paltry, but it’s perfect for anytime you want to feel refreshed and clean. It might be best in the summer, but I would also reach for it if I wanted to chase away the winter blues.

Actually I don't find it tropical in any way - no fruity notes whatsoever, rather strong lemon/bergamot peel and tea notes. Perhaps some veeeeeery distant bitter melon note appears after a minute from application - that's when for a while it begins to remind me of Sunflowers. It is amazing for summer but may require multiple application during the day - as most EDT's from the Green Tea line do.

Very refreshing fragrance :) I took a cleansing herbal bath and spritz GTT and it's the best feeling ever. This version of course still smells like green tea but not as sharp. I find the OG green tea smells like kiffir lime leaf + a teeny hint of "comet" scent..and tropical smells lemony with litchi along with summery fruits + light musk and all that green tea I love ;) great summer choice!

Very refreshing in the hot summer weather. The top notes are like a sweet fruit punch that feel sort of sparkly. The tea note follows very quickly and the fruit seems to disappear for awhile. However, it pops back up on my skin in the dry down and plays hide and seek with the light musk finish. Completely inoffensive, a great office scent. I do enjoy this one on especially hot summer days.

nice fresh sweet scent, i like the lychee note and its subtle sweetness. bought this together with the green tea summer version and i like this more, its more light and not irritating to my nose. This is the best green tea version for me. nice for layering scents.

When I sprayed this to my skin, it smelled like toilet freshener. But after while I started to like it. Fresh, a bit fruity scent. Could be used in day time. Tea scent holds up quite long time.

This is lovely and perfectly suited for a hot Summer's day. On colder days I would suggest this could be on the sickly side. One of the better performers in the range. Hard not to like it.

Perfect balance of tea and tropical fruit! Nothing overrides anything and the tropical fruits don't disrupt the tea notes. Very well balanced. Love everything about this perfume!

Very similar to the original Green Tea, but Tropical is less citrusy and has a soft passion fruit touch. It ́s nice, pleasant and inoffensive, but a bit too soft for my taste.

Nice and fresh, suitable for summer. I can't imagine anybody disliking this one. One of the best EA green tea perfumes in my opinion.

I like the litchi note in this...none of the fruit overrides the soft florals that is the heart of the "green tea" line...

very refreshing scent makes one feel good

I appreciate the fresh juicy fragrance and affordable price of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and expected to like this flanker. Sadly, Green Tea Tropical has the worst characteristics of the original GT – poor longevity and minimal sillage – without its uplifting, refreshing qualities. After spraying it on my wrist all I can detect is screechy lychee – I definitely agree with the comments that it gives a "dryer sheets" vibe. It smells exactly like the tropical-flavoured juice boxes my mum used to put in my lunchbox for school excursions. Not exactly unpleasant, but cheap and distinctly "fake". Longevity is ten minutes maximum (on me, the original GT performs better: it fades to a skin scent within an hour but I can still catch whiffs of it up to three hours later) and sillage is nonexistent. I'll keep this on hand for when I need to feel clean after a shower on a stiflingly hot forty degree day, but can't think of any other time I'd bother with it.

شروع این عطر بوی پوست میوه میده.رَگه هایی از بوی پوست مُرکبات که کمی تُرش هست.بوی میوه های له شده و نه چندان گوشتالو که خیلی هم خبری از میوه های استوایی نیست به مرور این میوه ها روی حرارت قرار می گیرند.انگار که یک دیگ پر از میوه رو روی شعله قرار داده باشیم و شاید بشه گفت کمی لواشکی میشه فضای تر و تازه ای نداره.خبری از چای سبز و فرح بخش که توی سایر عطرهای این لاین هست،نیست و بیشتر تمرکز عطر روی میوه هاست بوی چای قابل دریافت هست اما شخصا انتظار بیشتری داشتم با توجه به جنس رایحه،ماندگاری خوب ای داره ولی بعد از 3-4 ساعت کاملا به پوست می چسبه و تا 12-13 ساعت با نزدیک کردن بینی به دست متوجه اش می‌شدم -تست شده از نسخه‌ی 2019- *************** scent:6.5/10 longevity:8/10 sillage:6.5/10 purchase value:8/10 ******** overall:7.2/10

Smells like Glen20 or some other kind of air freshener

Surprisingly clinical, soapy and less tropical than Green Tea Summer (but very, very similar). I can smell the litchi and passionfruit, it's just hiding behind a veil of sparkling ivory soap and I find that to cheapen the scent. Though I'm not a huge fan of Green Tea Summer either and I find it to be rather generic and too shortly lived, I think it's more successfully a tropical scent than Green Tea Tropical. The magnolia here is too prominent for my liking. It feels predominantly white floral, but it has no base notes to ground it -- so it ends up having a fruity "dryer sheet" vibe as another reviewer mentioned. Not really a fan. Try Tropical instead, or for a flanker that's actually decent, Nectarine Blossom, Mimosa, Honeysuckle -- anything but this. Lasts about 4-5 hours, on par with the original Green Tea. ★☆☆☆☆

That fragrance is like the common ground of tropical scents. It gets that "every-fruit-mixed-together" general feeling, when you can't smell anything in particular, but you KNOW that they mixed tropical fruits. And of course: green tea. Lots of it. Actually kinda sharp. It is a bad fragrance? Nope. Is actually very nice. And here (Brazil) you can find it very cheap. You just can't expect anything wow with this one. The "tropical" feeling is the same we get from every simple cologne, with a twist from the green tea. The projection and the fixation is almost non-existing in my opinion. Good for a cologne. Wouldn't buy it again.

I really thought I would love this. I drink tea nearly every day, but I like it hot & unsweetened so that may be a factor. (I even have a favorite green tea with passionfruit in it, so this sounded great.) This to me is like a super saccharine-y artificial powdered iced tea mix that has too much water added with some flowers floating on top. Not what I was hoping for. It seems that most people like it, but I find it too artificial & sweet and on the verge of being cloying.

this was kind of strange. strong, realistic green tea that smells herbal and vegetal. the citrus that is present but more like a peel or rind, and less so than the original. in fact this smells like a more realistic tea than the pillar. the tropical and tea elements aren't really blended and remain separate. slightly artificial tropical fruits don't pair with vegetal green tea.

I tried this today. I get heavy tea, just like I brewed a cup, that bitter you get with green tea. That's this. With a bit of fruit perhaps. That's what I get with this line. Juuuust like brewed green tea, with whatever flavour is added.... I haven't tried them all and I know some people like them, but not for me

All I get is fruity dryer sheets. Would mayyybe work as a quick freshen-up for the hottest of summer days, but now in spring it's nothing but annoying. It stings my nose even after the dry down. Do not blind buy!

To mine and my boyfriends noses, this smells like basic, cheap hairspray from 80's. I didn't get any "tropical" vibe. Nothing pleasant about this one that would make me want to wear it so I gave it away.

I'm a bit disappointed that the tropical element doesn't really come out well. I see this more as a subtle scent that is again based on green tea, maybe with only a tropical hint.

I found the green tea on this one really sharp and not to my liking. I honestly was hoping for more fruity tropical vibes but it mostly read as musky and green.

I got this fragrance today. It was a blind buy. I would have to say I'm quite pleased with it. It is extremely fresh and I don't find it tropical at all. I get the green tea, some floral elements and a tangy lemon-y feel to it. It smells divine, it's clean, you can wear it everyday, perfect choice if you want something office- friendly and it's not too soapy. Two thumbs up! Update:Unfortunately, Green Tea Tropical gives me a monstrous headache. I totally cannot wear it everyday (like I planned just to save my pricier perfumes). The only way I can stand it on my skin is when I put it on my wrists and on the back of my neck and then put a perfume with fruity notes or a vanilla based perfume on my pulse point. I plan to use it up, because I hate wasting it, or I'll give it to someone who'd like it better. What a let-down... I liked it for being different,but it's not working for me.

I just won't learn! I keep falling for youth, fresh, maybe a bit fruity fragrances in the shops and I keep ignoring that my bodychemistry actually turn otherwise cloying fragrances into something nice and classy on me. I bought this when it came out and intended to wear it for summer. I drink a lot of green tea so I thought I'd love it. I didn't hate it but everyone kept telling me that maybe I should cut back on how much green tea I was drinking because I was beginning to smell like it and if people tell you that you smell, it's not a compliment. I have very dry skin but use fragrance free lotions, oils and creams so they're not interfering. Cold weather, evening, "old-lady-like" fragrances work better on me and others compliment me on them even though I rarely like these heavier/sweeter fragrances in the flacons.

The original Green Tea is a great choice on its own, but I'd like to have a different variation of Green Tea, so here is my next attempt to find the right one for my collection. Green Tea Exotic is a bit too floral for me and I find Lotus is a bit too aquatic. For this Green Tea Tropical, I find it's chilled, very juicy and fruity at first. Then the "original Green Tea" peaks through, but it quickly wrapped by the slightly creamier tropical fruity vibe. This is the one I plan on keeping in my collection. The fruitiness in this is young and energetic. It's very refreshing and cheerful and perfect to spray on anything. Green tea note is subtle but it's noticeable. Very likable and very inexpensive to buy.

In Italy we have very long and hot/humid summers, so come springtime I get all my summer perfumes ready. GTT by Arden is one of them, it costs a fraction of what I usually spend for my other fumes and it's really quite pretty. It opens very fruity with litchi which I love and green tea it then dries down with musk and a mixture of tropical fruits. It's very refreshing scent really suitable for hot climates,it makes you feel nice and clean.

I wore this one night for myself. The scent stayed all night, fresh, just thrilled with it! I wore it yesterday and got a compliment. This is quite impressive and lasts far longer than I expected. I'm so very happy with this! This is a delicate, carefree scent. This is a wonderful blind purchase, and I think if it even sounds interesting to someone, it'll be worth the purchase price.

Ahhhhhhh!!! Light, fruity & refreshing!!! Makes me want to pour myself a tall cold glass of iced tea and relax!!!! Wait....my kids are screaming....so much for relaxing!!! Oh well, I can still enjoy this beautiful fragrance while chasing my kids around the house. My least favorite of the teas but still very light and refreshing!!! Cheers!!!

At first when my mom bought it I didn't like it. It appeared somewhat synthetic in colder weather. But now I tried wearing it after years in summer and now that the perfume melts in the body it's actually nice. Now the synthetic fruits smell more like soap with green tea and give an impression of freshness.

I bought this perfume one month ago because it was on sale. Love the scent. Fresh and soft. Longevity : 1-2 hours. I have to re-apply after few hours.. It was an okay purchase but wouldnt buy again because of poor longevity.

Funnily enough, I find Green Tea Summer smells more tropical than Green Tea Tropical itself 🤷♀️ Sort of doesn't live up to its name when another flanker does a better job at being tropical.

Me hace acordar muchisimo al Eau D ́Eden de Cacharel que en mi pais ya no lo puedo conseguir y es super rico, fresco, bien de verano y acuatico, muy buena fijacion y duracion.

Blind bought this off amazon for super cheap....it's actually a little more manly than I expected. It's certainly not bad but I don't think that it is exactly my type

Unfortunately, this did not smell good on my skin. Smelled like old hairspray and was so unpleasant. Going to return this along with Green Tea Summer and Bamboo.

Blah. There are better ones in the series. I get "dryer sheets" labeled "Tropical Surf" outta this one. Go for the Nectarine Green Tea !

Nothing groundbreaking, same old green tea now with a hint of fruits. Fresh, green and juicy, just the way you expect it to be.

In general I admire a litchi! Green Tea Tropical is exteremly fruity, but also refreshing - for summer or spring.

i like this one , its very tropical fruity and green so i use it as a cologne or a body mist sometimes .

A very nice summer scent! The passionflower comes out nicely. A nice refreshing summer scent.
