The Original GREEN-TEA. Signed by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, this beauty opens with a trio of citruses (lemon, bergamot, orange-peel) accented by mint and rhubarb, with citrus, tart & fresh tones. That continues & deepens into the floral heart led by a citrus-y grape-leaning jasmine & carnation, suspended by oakmoss and underpinned by white-amber. This all rests on a green-tea base with fresh-spicy hints aplenty, including fennel, caraway & celery seed. This was groundbreaking at the time of release in 1999, and today has become a classic. Contrast to Fraicheur Vegetale Thé Vert Yves Rocher: These are similar but not the same. Both have a prominent green-tea vibe, but FVTV has a more forward green accord, while Green Tea EA has a more forward citrus accord. Roughly equivalent performance or slightly better for FVTV. Contrast to Wulóng Chá Nishane: These are similar but not the same. Both have a prominent green-tea vibe, and while Green Tea EA has a fruity accord, it's more forward in Wulóng Chá. Wulóng Chá outperforms. Contrast to Aqua Media Cologne Forte Maison Francis Kurkdjian: These are different, but there are striking similarities. Both are composed by Francis Kurkdjian and have a prominent green-tea vibe with fennel, but AMCF has a more forward anise note and outperforms. Contrast to Valentino Donna Rosa Verde: These are different, but there are remarkable similarities. Both are green-tea dominant scents, but Green-Tea Elizabeth Arden has a faint perfume-y vibe (when compared side-by-side) and slightly more forward fruity quality, while Valentino Donna Rosa Verde has a more forward lemon-y-rose-geranium and outperforms. Contrast to Un Jardin Sur Le Nil Hermes: These are different, but both have a prominent green-tea vibe. UJSLN is more of a complex green-tea (tea notes being evoked by bulrushes), with a more forward tropical accord and an opening tomato leaf note, UJSLN outperforms. Overall: gorgeous, classic refreshing green-tea scent that was the inspiration for many other scents, with light performance that improves to average when layered over its matching body lotion. I'm a longtime fan of this scent. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy!

This perfume is life changing. It couldn’t be overpowering, you widerwally could never put on too much. It’s subtle, faint, but it’s still there. It’s like a breath of fresh air. It smells a little citrusy, with a little spice that I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s warm, but refreshing at the same time. It’s light, it’s airy, it’s comforting. It feels like June. Sitting in the summer sun, where your skin starts to tingle and you know you should put more sunscreen on but you don’t because you secretly like the way burning skin feels. You reach for a can of watermelon La Croix and it drips down your chin. La Croix is maybe a better example. It’s still water and still very refreshing but the bubbles make it spicy water in your throat. It’s like the oreo and the milk all in one. Ugh. It goes with anything, enhances whatever scent you’ve already got on - be it another perfume, your shampoo, lotion, anything. And don’t get me wrong, I know I said it smells like June, but I daresay this fragrance is appropriate for all year round. Controversial maybe, I don’t know. But I’d definitely wear this to Thanksgiving dinner and also to Mother’s Day brunch. It’s serotonin in a bottle and serotonin never goes out of style. I don’t have much else to say about the scent itself, I can’t pick out any of the notes really, but my nose sure likes it. Overall rating: 9.47/10 I would give it a full 10, but because it is really light, I be spraying it on all day. Longevity could be improved, but at the same time I do really like the subtleness of it.

This is so good. Like a tall glass of ice-tea. I'd bathe in this if I could, and, at least in my experience, it's physically impossible to overspray this. It's light and the longevity is not awesome, but I don't care because you can get a huge bottle for a song and spray away 'til the cows come home. I love this because it is lemony but mellow, it's gently sweet but not too sweet, it's got a delightful clean musk underneath, some whispery white flowers, and it has rhubarb! Why don't more things have rhubarb without being sour and pissy? It also has actual green tea in it, it says so right on the box: 'contains green tea', and it's in the ingredients as well (camellia sinensis leaf extract). I thought this was a really cool little detail. I am most definitely never going to be without a bottle of this nectar. It's absolutely *made* for the summer heat, but I think it's great for all year long, whenever you want to be in your happy place. I have the Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream as well, a gigantic jar, and use it every day. This is absolutely unisex lemony goodness. Well played, to both Arden and Monsieur Kurkdjian!

I have been wearing this on and off since it came out. So has my Mum: it is one of her staple fragrances, and it very much reminds me of her. I love it, the tea note is prominent throughout, as is the mint, which I really like. As another reviewer said, it smells a bit like Moroccan mint tea without the sweetness. BTW if you want to see a Moroccan pull an 'interesting' face, try and convince them that mint tea doesn't need sugar - the result will be very like the expression of someone sucking a lemon. This fragrance is definitely quite complex for a summer freshie. Longevity is not great but you would struggle to spend much over £10 for a 100ml bottle, so re-spraying is not a problem. I also just obtained a nice big bottle of the matching shower gel - just the job in the current heatwave. I have not yet gone down the flankers rabbit-hole, though the Sakura Blossom one is seriously tempting me...just as well I have put myself on a new bottles diet for a while.

I will forever have this in my collection and I do wear this all year round. There is nothing groundbreaking about this perfume but I love how I could wear this on it's own whenever I feel like I just want something that will make me feel light and fresh during the extremely hot, humid, sunny days. I also wear this when I do not want my perfume to project or annoy anyone. I am speaking for myself but this scent also makes me feel grounded, maybe knowing that it contains green tea takes me to that mental state, who knows? Yes, I also wear this perfume when it's cold! I layer my heavy scents with this when I want to "brighten" it up a lil bit. I only spray this on my clothes NOT on my skin so I do not have any complaints with longevity. Also, for being $17 from a discount store? I definitely do not have any issues with this at all. I love this!

This is a very refreshing calming fragrance that is marketed to women but as a man I love this fragrance. I believe this will work very well in a Church setting or the office and it's extremely inoffensive and light. MFK is just a master perfumer and I get this fragrances intention and it's purpose and it wasn't created to be loud, long lasting or intrusive. I appreciate how this was constructed and I will be using this fragrance in the warmer months because this will pair very well with my bath and body works eucalyptus & spearmint lotion. As a Connoisseur of fragrance I don't see any benefit in restricting myself to only experienceing men's fragrances! I love the world of perfumery and I enjoy trying different scents on my skin because for me, that's one way you will discover something beautiful and great.

I loved MFK Aqua media. And when I heard people speak about this being close, I had to take my chances. $15 bucks for a 100ml? Any day of the week. I am usually heavily against dupes, but this was made by the same one and only, Maison Francis. This is identical. I am sorry to whoever spent full price money on media, but this is the same thing, 95% identical (I am not exaggerating!! Comparing the two side by side, it is so close!!) Sure it does not last the best (neither does the original) but it is cheap enough where you can respray 10 times!! The scent is fresh and herbal, really calming and enjoyable. Reminds me of that soap back in the 2010s that had the fish on it, I love this stuff!! Please, if you are even partially considering this fragrance, buy it now!! You will not be disappointed. 7.8/10

Nose Note #427 Moschino Funny is absolutely a dupe of this, 99%. I guess D&G Light Blue has either been inspired by this or just happened to be made along the same lines too. Except the two perform much better than this. Green Tea is like an aftershave, doesn't do better than that, unfortunately. At least now I know where it all kind of started. It may not smell like green tea, but it surely is a refreshing scent. Really soft yet zesty citrus, very effervescent. I just can't get Moschino Funny and Cheap & Chic I Love Love out of my head. All those are so similar. I thought it was going to smell like green tea, but it rather has some green tea aspect. The main player is the lemon/bergamot combo. 8/10, forever in my heart

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea scent spray smells fresh, clean, crisp and soft. To me, it is well worth the price. I usually buy more expensive perfumes, some of which have been huge disappointments. Green Tea is exquisite. I love the citrus; I love the clean and fresh tendrils that intoxicate my senses. I also like that it isn't an "in your face" perfume. It's soft and subtle. I don't mind re-spritzing myself a few times a day – part of the joy of a good perfume is misting it on and luxuriating in the experience. To put it simply – I love everything about this perfume, and I never would have thought I would. So, sometimes we get surprises from unexpected sources.

This Spring, I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect citrus tea fragrance before Summer hits, and I absolutely ADORE this one. I spritz it on in the morning and feel so much more awake & alert - the citrus and bergamot opening is absolutely sparkling! Within the next 30mins, the tea note settles in with your skin scent to become a gorgeous soothing fragrance. The only problem is that the longevity is sooo limited, but because it’s cheap I don’t mind reapplying often. My quest continues to find something with this exact scent profile but longer longevity, next Im going to try Nishane’s Wulong Cha.

Adore! The benchmark for tea scents for me. The citrus really accentuates the tea note, giving it a fresh light feel. It's a very distinct smell, and despite its age, it doesn't seem dated - this is a timeless scent. The longevity isn't great, and I use this as a "pick me up" scent after lunch on a hot day. Since its such a fresh scent and the longevity isn't great, its easy/possible to douse yourself in it without offending people's noses. Due to its age, its usually decently priced, and never out of stock. I've tried a few flankers, but they don't really measure up to the original.

I saw this in TJ Maxx and read the positive reviews - and decided to try it. What a lovely perfume ! My favorite brand of perfume is Bond #9 and this slightly reminds me of a lighter version of Eau de New York and Nouveau Bowery combined. It is light, airy, uplifting, citrusy, slightly minty and the green tea and musk come through especially in the dry down. A very beautiful light perfume. Not as strong as perfume since it is referred to as a "green tea scent spray" but lasts about 4 hours on my skin. A nice refreshing scent you can spritz through out the day.

Right, I don't care what anybody says, this is one of the most perfect understated perfumes in existence. Does it last long? No. Is it expensive? Also no. It's not complex, it's not elevated or sophisticated. However it does a fantastic job at smelling generally fresh, citrus-y and extremely pleasant. It's so inoffensive, you can wear it to the office even on hot days. Keep a bottle in your handbag and spray as much as your heart desires. I will forever be a Green Tea stan and you can bury me with a bottle of this.

I layer this fragrance with most of my perfumes. I tend to lean to musky, creamy and airy notes, and Green Tea adds an extra hint of green and freshness to those. It also boosts and balances clean and soapy notes. Does not last that long on my skin by itself, usually my skin needs to be very moisturized underneath, and I also spray on clothes to make it last longer. Since the value is incredible, you can and should overspray. It opens much more on my skin in hot summer days. Absolutely refreshing!

Very refreshing scent. It's a fresh and citrusy green tea with some jasmine in the background. Don't expect a lot of projection or longevity as it is a "eau parfumée" so not even an eau de cologne or eau de toilette. But it's just perfect for aromatherapy, just out of the shower to wear something clean, before bed or just to uplift your mood. Really nice ! Ho and BTW you can layer it with the dupes out there of LV Imagination to bring out more the tea note, but shhhhh I didn't say anything :)

Same here @silversheep, only saw it because I am wearing green tea today layered with TF grey vetiver which gives it a dry grass/woody base, also keeps the freshness of opening longer for some reason. IV worn this since it's launch always loved it, it's simplicity and pure summer lemon drench, always layers well with Mary greenwoods lemon EDP yummy. So FK from simple beginnings 😀 I bet it has a big resurgence and all the people who said it was boring will now find it fascinating.

this is my favorite scent of all time. it smells fresh and clean, and you can wear it in every season even if it leans more toward summer and spring. it is a bright citrusy scent, something that reminds me of when you come out of the shower. my aunt always wore this perfume and it reminds me of her. the biggest issue is that it doesn't last long. i try to make the scent last by pairing it with the body cream, but it still does not have too much staying power.

I took a mid-January break this week from the spice laden heavies of my autumn fragrances with this gorgeous, oft over-looked beauty. As desired, it lifted the ennui brought on by days of foggy grey west coast skies. A bracing spritz of lemon, mint and carnation opens and settles quickly into a floral jasmine green tea nest that presides for the next few hours. It stays close to the skin so readily re-apply throughout the day. Today is blue-bird sky.

This one positively surprised me! It smells exactly like a refreshing ice tea and while I'd definitely say it's a scent for warmer days, I've worn it the past few days in the cold and loved it nonetheless. It's an easy scent, but you can definitely smell it immediately. I know people aren't impressed with the longevity, but on me it stayed the whole day, so no complaints from me, especially for that price. This might become my new comfort fragrance.

I loveeee Green Tea. It’s very fresh with a good balance of soft florals, watery notes and of course the bright greenery. I personally smell a warm slightly spiced undertone (maybe the fennel note but reminds me of cardamom) and the citrus is very refreshing. Although the wear time for me is very short, I go nose blind nearly immediately and definitely need to re-apply during the day. But other than that, it’s definitely a favourite for me.

Today I found Green Tea 💚 at Marshall's and I bought it because I wanted a tea fragrance. I had never smelt it before. I sprayed it and I couldn't smell anything 😅👌 but I kept on sniffing and it smells really fresh and light, and green. It is just what I was looking for, for the gym and work. I don't want a scandalous scent. I want a safe scent for those two places. I will spray it on my yoga mat, my gym bag, my clothes, my skin... fresh🍵

This was my first perfume. I bought it as someone that loves green tea scents. I feel very cozy and calm when I spray this. Its really comforting to me. As someone with a sensitive nose, I don't feel any discomfort or nausea. It smells like an ice lemon green tea due to its citrus notes. As a "connoisseur" in green tea, the green tea scents lean more towards generic green tea not matcha or jasmine green tea.

GREEN TEA!!!! I was wasting money getting fancier expensive samples and little did I know..... My answer was this cheap and this scent. It's 100 degrees and I wanted an easy light, tea, green freshy. Worth carrying around and reapplying. It is soooo inexpensive and the sacrifice is longevity. Lasts longer on hair and fabric. It is mostly top notes and EASILY could be layered with a longer robust base scent.

A very refreshing and clean scent! Perfect for warmer weather when you want to wear something light and airy that won't feel suffocating in the heat. The lemon and green tea smell sooo good together. It's lovely on it's own but sometimes I layer it with a milk fragrance to give it a bit of creaminess to tone down the lemon. It does not last very long but that's expected for something in this price range.

Fresh and lovely. Literally smells like the color of the bottle. Initial spray is very citrus forward, dries down to a green tea smell. Very much what you'd call a "spa smell." I'd say it lasts about 5 hours. Found it from a recommendation online. Very fond memories associated with this scent. Reminds me of Quebec and a doctor's office waiting room with random questionable "general asian" decorations.

Есть сходство с Moschino Funny, но только к началу, и то Moschino слаще чем Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, и тут нет яблока. Буду покупать ещё 😃

Refreshingly beautiful. Opens up bright with the citrus and minty smell, then citrus slowly disappears and that mintiness melts into a mix of soft jasmine and greenery. Longevity is really weak, but at the price point I don’t mind spraying often. Notes are more distinguishable on paper than skin. Cant help but love it, it reminds me of walking in the park with late spring.

Really lovely, fresh, green scent with a hint of citrus. Has a beautiful herbal quality. Absolutely brilliant value for money. Doesn't last that long on skin but is worth topping up for a refreshing burst throughout the day. Layers incredibly well - fab for bringing a bit of freshness to some of the heavier perfumes. The body lotion is great as well. Absolutely love this!

I’ve worn this fragrance for 25 years. It’s citrusy, a bit aquatic, crisp from the celery seed, rhubarb and fennel and lightly floral. It warms up on the dry down. It lasts about 2 hours on me. It’s uplifting, gentle and smells like Spring. Not all scents need to be a powerhouse...this is an easy grab when I when I want a comforting, fresh mist.

Although it initially smells peppery, it settles quickly into a peaceful, green, herbal, and fresh scent that blends well with my natural skin scent. It reminds me of drinking tea or lemonade in a garden on a spring day, and also feels fairy-like to me (which I love). One of my favorites of all time! Slightly feminine and very clean-smelling.

Fresh, herbal, tea-heavy and super refreshing. Price is great too. If you like tea scents like me you'll love it. Just wish it lasted longer, performance is kinda bad, and it dries down more feminine than I’d like. Works really well layered with other fresh scents though, makes a great combo with aqua dubai or other soapy scents 8/10

This is a no brainer freshie! I can spritz this liberally and feel refreshed by the citrus and the green tea that this stays true to. It’s also great value and can be worn by everyone. The longevity is an issue but given the price point you can’t really complain. I’d buy this as an easy reach for hot summer days as a refresher.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This is an affordable masterpiece by Francis Kurkdjian. Light, airy, balanced, expertly blended green tea with a hint of cooling mint. Yes, the opening is screechy for about 30 seconds, and yes, it’s mostly gone in 2–3 hrs, but before then it is carefree and blissful.

I got this in a 2 pack with a matching lotion and UGHHHHH SO GOOD. Started using it as my “after a bath” scent and I feel fresh for hours after, the epitome of the clean girl aesthetic. A safe buy for pretty much anyone. It’s so cheap too, seriously, just get it if you’re on the fence and want a freshie.

This is a lovely light, crisp, fresh citrus green tea scent akin to Bamboo Harmony by Kilian or Ethereal Wave by Liis. It has therapeutic, spa-like meditative qualities but is short-lived. It's hard to make this scent profile last and it's reasonably priced, so I consider this the best of its kind.

This is probably the only fragrance that smells exactly like I thought it would. I love it. It's sweet but fresh, and very nostalgic, despite my first time smelling it being very recently (as far as I remember). It's such a shame that scents like this don't have an ounce of lasting power.

I wore this all the in the 2000s. This was my go-to everyday spritz. No, it does not last very long. Think of it more as a body mist than a perfume. Guilty, I still spray this on my throw pillows and blankets because I just love the scent. Very nostalgic. It smells like sweet green tea.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo da Vinci (and the great Francis Kurkdjian, apparently!) The dry down eventually reminds me of Dior Homme Cologne. A little floral, crisp and clean. But short-lived. Overall, rather conventional and unsurprising, but enjoyable. 7/10

I don't understand all the comments about this being screechy and like a bathroom cleaner. Have they changed the formula in the last 5 years? This is absolutely perfect, the only thing to wear in a heatwave, it has the most gorgeous skin scent dry down that just smells like summer.

It’s calming, refreshing, a tad sweet. I think it’s safe and I haven’t read the reviews but I find it would be hard to dislike it. You’ll smell clean and fresh. I wish it lasted longer, in fact, if I found this exact scent but long lasting, my perfume journey would be over.

Fresh, citrusy, and uplifting. Initially I get a huge dose of citrus which quickly fades into a watery green tea; perfect for a humid summer day. I personally really love this fragrance! The only downside is that it doesn't last very long, but you get what you pay for.

i love this one so much! mostly because my mom and my grammie wore this when i was kid! my mom got me a bottle for my birthday and i’m so happy with it! it’s so light and fresh! i’ve been layering it with MIIM MIIC’s No. 152 Aquatic Lemon and i love the combo so much !

I love how fresh and smooth this is - not screechy at all. It lasts 10 hours plus on clothes for me and I get happy scented whiffs all day. It is interesting to note that Francis Kurkdjian designed this and his line goes for $400+ so it is designer on the cheap.

Realistic green tea with fennel and fennel seeds on top. Refreshing, elegant, dewy, but not as complex as the notes would make you think. It's nostalgic but in a way that makes it extremely timeless. Perfect if you're looking for a fresh, after shower scent.

This is like a memory of summer: Plastic florals in a space so clean and sterile it will give you brain damage. Frutiger Aero in a bottle, if you will. Or a turquoise waterslide filtering the sun. Definitely a nostalgic scent for me. Wish it lasted longer.

Another Kurkdjian creation that I LOVE—is anyone surprised? It's my favorite for summer and warm days. I buy it every summer. Super fresh, energizing, clean, perfect for wearing after a shower, going to the gym—super, super versatile. I love it so much.

Super cheap but amazing scent for minimalists, i love it so much i want to drink it. The only downside is longevity which is very poor, but still, very lovely scent to realply often. Also, that green tea not could be stronger, i'd love it too.

I love it. Imagine pulling on a freshly washed blanket, drinking a hot tea with lemon. Sometimes I like smelling like a dryer sheet. Clean, fresh and green. Don't sleep on this cheapie. This one has stood the test of time for a reason.

I've found this scent is better described as a body mist, I spray before I go to work and by the time I get there it's gone. It won't stop me from wearing it since it is refreshing and citrusy I love this one despite it's faults.
