Sunflowers Sunrise

Sunflowers Sunrise is very pretty, smelling of sweet grasses, slightly spicy flowers, and warm benzoin, like a sunny day in the countryside. To my nose, it's like a fresher, lighter version of Boucheron Place Vendome, with its heavier florals, pink pepper, and honey note. The only drawback to this juice is its poor longevity; after spraying, the scent dies back considerably in just 15 minutes. In spite of its beauty, I'm considering ushering it out of my collection if I can't find a way to get the scent to stay longer. I've had success with other scents I love but that have poor longevity -- most recently, Jennifer Aniston Solstice Bloom -- by simply spraying TONS of it on my skin, hair, and clothes; happily, my scent bubble lasted some 8 hours. I need to try that with this one, too, because it's just beautiful.

This is sunny and uplifting and it is NOT light and fresh. It sprays on as an intense fruity yellow floral, a bit old fashioned (I smell aldehyde) and not at all dusty. I bought it for the broom note and it doesn't disappoint. I suppose it's like melon and orange juice on the al fresco breakfast table with the optimistic feeling and full charge of energy for the day. It's not as wild as Joop! Femme. It's the kind of fragrance you might leave in a bathroom tin medicine cabinet at a beach or lake cottage and a guest would spray it on without great expectations (looks like something a deceased auntie might have left behind in the 70s) and get a very pleasant surprise and be delighted. Terrific value at 10 bucks.

I'm still learning about notes and training my nose, but this little beauty is one of the few scents I've tried that transports me into my memories and feelings. For me, this is late spring and early summer mornings back in Kentucky when I was a child. Golden sunlight, blooming honeysuckle and other wild flowers, warming grass, a delicate breeze on the air, and drinking fruit juice while going on nature walks. Longetivty is abysmal just like with other EA frags, but for the price point I don't mind reapplying through the day. Absolutely lovely.

This perfume is really nice considering the price. I saw it on a shelf in a drugstore, smelt it and it immediately sparked my interest. Its warm, inviting, fresh and sweet flowery at the same time. It puts you in a chill vacay mood. I think it can easily be a everyday perfume but I bought it for summer, I m sure its going to work. I didn t think I would enjoy it as much as I do. Love it for now.

A great and natural smelling, very light yellow floral fragrance with a little citrus and a hint of a green smell. I mostly smell slightly sweet fluffy yellow florals. I do not really see how this has been rated so high for the siam benzoin, because to me, the sweetness has no balsamic qualities or undertones of vanilla, but more pollen/honey nuances coming from the yellow and white florals. :-)

For me, the opening of this smells like strong honeysuckle, white gummy bears, white grape juice, and pomelo. It’s a very sugary, balsamic, white & yellow floral. I really enjoy it a lot, but it’s very short-lived ( it doesn’t last long or strong) On my skin i found the dry down weirdly almost musky and also ambery, which must be the benzoin.

Pollenated gold; honeyed mimosa and honeysuckle dappled with sunshine with bees flitting about. The broom really drives the pollen feel home and the benzoin warms everything up. Perfect for spring & summer, it's a pretty uplifting floral with warmer elements without feeling heavy. Definitely needs to be reapplied if it's to last all day.

Oh this is lovely! I did not know what to expect from a note like benzoin but is really nice, honeyish, creamy, warm, ambery - in short this is really cozy! And delicious. The mimosa is noticeable and gives this a powdery feel as well. Reminds me of a hot summer and hey harvesting while drinking honeyed beer.

Wow! I love this! Of the three Sunflowers flankers I've tried this is most different from the original. The benzoin in this is very strong and gives it a lovely warm creamy lotion vibe to it. The melon, narcissus and mimosa are the other notes I primarily pick up on in this. So gorgeous.

It was a blind buy sometime around a year ago - just travelled to Berlin and there it was. And just released, so no reviews available yet. Unfortunately no testers, so I had to trust my instincts. As a long time fan of the original and the flankers I just bought the bottle and... the fireworks didn't go off, at least not at the first time. I believe it was because I was so much under the impression of the Morning Gardens and the Summer Air ones, the fresh, crisp and perfect for hot summer days siblings. Today I changed my perfume bottles for the heatwave and this one caught my attention. I need to revise my stance - well, even siblings can differ greatly and they still are interesting as they are. This one is quiet, sweet and calm, I get vanilla, tonka, white musk, mimosa almost hidden behind all the golden treasures. Do you too, smell coconut at the beginning? I do, and probably that's what put me off initially, like another summery body balm that you use during holidays and forget the second they end. But this is so much more. It's good to get to know this one a bit deeper. Give it som time and you'll see the lovely soul unveil. I would call it another try on creating the yellow colour into a scent - if the original Sunflowers were the Van Gogh yellow, this one is noticeably lighter, a bunch of spring / summer yellow flowers, a perfectly imperfect mix of dandelion sweet, then mimosa and broom come ot play, layered with creamy / ecru base, closer to rich vanilla ice creams drydown. As yellow is one of my fav colours I tend to reach for its interpretations as scents, and this one is something else. I can imagine wearing this scent on a cooler, but warm days - they demand clean, sweat-free skin, might feel clingy during humid or simply hot 30+ weather.

Wow! I’ve been orphaned from Roberto Cavalli Acqua for a long time, so I’d been looking for a summer perfume that felt solar, smelled like the beach, and wasn’t too expensive. What a delicious fragrance! Yes, it has that sunscreen vibe, beachy, with sea and sun. I can really sense a coconut note here. There is a certain similarity to Jimmy Choo Rose Passion, but that one is sweeter. Sunflower Sunrise doesn’t feel like a modern scent, but that’s exactly what’s cool about it: it’s not a vulgar, overly sweet bomb. I liked it a lot.

When you order a fragrance that costs 10 euros, the expectations are 6 feet underground :D However, I was surprised. Not only is this wearable but actually rather pleasant. It starts out with very perfumey yellow flower-honeysuckle explosion but then dries down into more sunscreen-like creamy skin scent. It is not the best fragrance in the world but Elizabeth Arden knows how to make cheapies that actually have some value to them.

Hello sunshine! This is everything I wished the original sunflowers perfume could be, if I were to reimagine it. There are no musk or marine notes (2 of my most challenging scents to wear) and a lot more of those lovely bright yellow flowers. I love the broom and daffodil notes. It has a restrained fruitiness with a slightly dry quality. I consider it a successful blind buy.

Soft melon, mimosa and honeysuckle. Sweet, yet not overpowering. For 12 bucks a 100ml blottle, this is a great buy, especially if you want to gift it to a teenager or a young girl who is just starting to use perfume. Silliage is weak, same as longevity, but this perfume fits perfectly in a bag and you can just reapply. just a happy, soft, sweet floral.

this has the performance of a very weak body sprey..too bad coz the smell is to die for..delicate soft vanilla powder..no flowers there, no fruits. just milky sweet powder. like a clean skin with fresh lotion on it. there is something addictive in there whoch i cant out my finger on but which elevates this from a boring powdery scents out there

Bright, uplifting, summery, honey-scented and easy to wear scent, Reminds me a lot of Armani’s ‘Light di Gioia’ and DKNY’s ‘Nectar Love’

Pretty yellow floral with a creamy resinous foundation. The notes in the pyramid are exactly what I smell throughout - it’s linear but very lovely. Perfect for a bright, optimistic person.

Love the original Sunflowers, not this unfortunately. Tested but did not purchase. Where OG Sunflowers is bursting with citrus, sunshine and warmth, this is like the opposite. This is white floral, air and wet cut grass finished off with insect spray. On first spray a feeling of deflation. This is a kill joy. This is the insect spray killing the bees around the Sunflowers. 💨🌼🦗🍃🙁

Everything about this makes me nauseous. There’s a distinct, chemical- sun note that gives me a headache. Smelled it back in the 90s and still can’t wrap my head around its mass appeal.
