Untold Eau Fraiche

Ahhh i love it. I just wish it lasted longer and projected further. It's so fresh! The opal box and the beautiful bottle with the green juice, it's all so fitting for the scent. Perfectly put together, it just doesn't last. If you can find this in the big bottle, get it because you will need to reapply. I scored 100ml for 10$ Canadian, brand new in box, unopened. A true unicorn of a deal! Feel like I won the perfume lottery! 🤣 Edit: this is the perfect "fresh" scent. Not overpowering at all, likely can be worn anywhere, and doesn't make any drastic changes along the way. I pick up on the lime people are mentioning but it isn't taking over, it's blended so well with all the other notes that if you weren't looking for it you may never find it. If lime is keeping you from buying this, don't let it stop you as it's not listed in the notes and so it is an imagined lime. I find it more powdery green citrus, white floral forward. But if you love subtle lime scents, definitely pick up at least a sample if you can find it. This is what I imagined "Happy" by Clinique would smell like before I smelled that. This is so much better to me. So sad this is discontinued, as bottles are hundreds of dollars now and if it weren't so hard to get, I'd reach for this all the time. Now I save it for spring and summer on mornings I want to feel extra "fresh". Mostly wear this to enjoy myself, alone at home, morning coffee on a sunny day.. I so wish they would bring this back so we could buy all the Eau Fraiche and wear it all willy nilly like I believe it was meant to be worn!

Do you like Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche? Do you wish Chance didn't have patchouli but tea instead? Then buy this! I blind bought it, and no regrets. Nothing screechy, no piercing citrus in the top. Smells like a love child between Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche and Yves Rocher Green Tea. Has that natural non-perfumey aspect of YR Green Tea plus the elevation more notes bring. Light, and ageless. The LOTV is well behaved and blended in well. Dry down is simply light & sweet mix of tea, freesia & citrus. I can't really do justice in what I'm picking up on my wrists. It's simply delightful. I think I'm going to go through this quick and that makes me sad knowing this green gem is discontinued. Update: After some more wearings, I can now pick up on that dessert note some other reviews mention. To me, it smells like key lime pie. Additionally on clothes, there is a wood note that reminds me of opening a fresh box of pencils in a good way.

This will be my summer signature fragrance. An easy decision after I had the opportunity to get to know this beautiful creation today. I bought it after a couple of hours sniffing my wrist, where I sprayed the sample. My search for a well balanced fragrance with emphasis on fresia is over, at last. God knows I have tried a few over the years. And in my opinion the lily of the valley is barely noticeable in this lovely composition, which is very good news for me. I just can't stand how this particular flower is an overpowering part of so many modern flower compositions. This is a fresh, light and very pleasant spring and summer fragrance with moderate silage and equally moderate longevity on skin.

I've just sprayed a sample from a duty free tester... It's very, very similar to EA Green Tea to my nose! And for that I'm wrapt!!! Now to see if it lasts better! A couple of hours later and I can still easily smell it as a skin scent but I don't think it'll project much. The dry down is less exciting than the opening to me but it does appear to have a drydown which means it's an improvement on EA Green tea! It's insanely frustrating that you can't seem to get - or even buy - samples in department stores... It's so hard to really get a feeling for a scent from a single spray which is often done at the same time as sampling others as well!

I love this perfume, EA should never have discontinued this Untold fragrance line as they are all lovely in their own right and this one is no exception. It does remind me a bit of Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche in that it is fresh, citrus, green and easy to wear. I have been wearing it today as it is a humid day and spraying Untold Eau Fraiche throughout the day keeps me refreshed. It also lasts a long time on clothes and after a while becomes a skin scent, even the dry down is lovely, it’s a real winner for me, I’ve ordered a back up bottle.

This is a very fresh, soft, smooth, no sharp edge scent. It's somewhat similar to Philosophy Pure Grace but a lot less harsh and sharp. I can't stand Pure Grace because it was too harsh and too much floral, but this is a lot softer, fresher, and more pleasant. It smells soooooo good! not too much floral, not too feminine, just a fresh and soft floral scent! LOVE IT!

I choose my perfume of the morning /evening based on my mood rather than the time of day or season. This is the one I reach for when I want to feel uplifted. It works every time. I agree that it is not very long lasting and the sillage isn't huge but that is a compromise I'm willing to make for this one.

May 13, 2026 Just came to write a short review, but can see here, I am the last one to review this gem 2 years ago. Le sigh. Are the bottles so hard to come by? I just wanted to say, whoever decided this should be discontinued needs to be fired. That's all.

This perfume fades within an hour and has no silage yet I love it and bought it so that tells you how wonderful it smells. I do mean LOVE

"Untold" - because sometimes things are better left - unsaid. There is so much being stirred up with the media lately. The latest is the Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan. Meghan did say something which I agree with - that often the press doesn't only report the news - but creates it. This is one of those things that I've learned while researching a number of different mainstream news media stories. ----------- The perfume "Untold Eau Fraiche' " is casually elegant - it is not overtly sexy although attractive. This is very similar to Jessica Simpson's Vintage Bloom - only Vintage Bloom is the lemon version -- and Untold Eau Fraiche' is the lime version. I have loved Vintage Bloom since trying it because it is fresh and clean - and reminds me of lemonade. Untold Eau Fraiche' is the limeade version. ------------- Untold Eau Fraiche' and Channel's Chance Fraiche' are about 92% similar. If you are desiring a perfume that wears a bit longer than Chance's Fraiche' then Untold Eau Fraiche' is the answer. Beautiful elegant bottle design that looks great back lit with light streaming through it. The box design is a gorgeous iridescent shell like pattern with gorgeous pastel colors in patterns like a square cut abalone. Cheers to the marketing and product design team. I like both the bottle and the box. They have achieved something that looks new, fresh, and feminine. Beautiful soft colors that are gorgeous for spring/summer. I'm just experimenting with a sample now - seeing how it wears. So far, I really like it - it is fresh and will make a great spring/summer fragrance. I'm sorry that they have discontinued it, but at least I was able to find this sample. I like this fragrance better than the original bottle of Untold, they are completely different. I much prefer the Fraiche' version. ---------- Some have compared this directly to Valentino Donna Rosa - and there are similarities. Comparing these side by side on different arms -- these two are definitely in the same family, but they have slight differences that make them unique. I'd say that they are about 85% similar with Donna Rosa leaning more towards a watery freshness and Untold Fraiche has a note in it which is more gourmand, like a creme brûlée note with wood notes which almost smell a little like the wood chips used in a woodsy type kitty litter (not in a bad way, but good way). Fraiche is still more lime than Donna Rosa, a bit more tart. They are both clean, fresh, and smell like spring/summer.

This has the DNA of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea but Untold EF is definitely more white floral forward. EA Green Tea seems to have a fresher minty opening and is more tea-like (duh) overall with a tad more spice and wood. Untold EF is a very pleasant and wearable warm weather option. I need to do a proper comparison between Untold EF to EA White Tea Mandarin Blossom, they seem similar on initial spray (Edit - I compared to WT Mandarin Blossom in which the Mandarin Blossom is definitely more prominent and dries down more like EA White Tea - I do like it). Chanel Chance eau Fraiche is similar but has a different base, perhaps woodier and smoother. Personally, I like the EA Untold better, it seems more wearable to me. I don't find Untold EF to be similar to Versense or Valentino Donna Rosa Verde. Versense has a more vibrant fresh citrus quality. Donna Rosa Verde also has more citrus and the rose and other florals are noticeably different to my nose from Untold EF. Untold EF is a great bargain fragrance. My experience is EA offers good quality and value. I like their White Tea line also. The Untold EF bottle is pretty, but would be classier without the metal band.

I find this very close to Fujiyama Green by Succes de Paris which has a touch of mint making it the better of the two to me. I'd say if you like mint, go with Fujiyama Green. If you don't care for mint, go with this! Both are nice. Green Tea is nice also. So are most all the Green Teas! Untold Eau Fraiche is being compared to Chanel? I can not comment as I do not know. If it's true, by all means buy any of the fore mentioned! Now the box this comes in is a lovely minty green. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bottle and the color of the liquid. That strap of metal surrounding the bottle does NOT blend in seamlessly, it's rather sharp looking, cheap, and...WHY did they DO this!? WHO, in the finalization of this said, "Oh now THAT is LOVELY!"???? I am glad to have this. It's cheap, smells great, doesn't last forever but...when is it NOT fun to spray and freshen!? Elizabeth Arden is my dear old friend. She's the one that got me into perfume! That Provocative bottle I STILL to this day enjoy! I have many of her scents and love them all...just not that metal strip! Good job on an easy scent that anyone can enjoy! Enjoy your bottle this summer!

I purchased a 3.3 oz bottle from good ole' TJ Maxx for $14. Sprayed it and immediately thought Fujiyama Green like another reviewer. Very similar, so I was going to return it. But then I as I ran errands, I kept smelling something wonderful & realized it was me :). This was a keeper after all, once all the white tea settles down, there's a hint of a fresh, woodsy, musky note. It reminds me very much of the original Modern perfume from Banana Republic. The one released in 1997 (not the recent one) that smells kinda unisex. I've been trying to find that scent for YEARS!! Well, it's not an exact dupe, but it's definitely close enough for this one to be a keeper. I wish someone could tell me the notes from that old fragrance so I could compare.

Greens citrus floraly woody is about right. I feel it had a slight warmth, thought not in a warm frag category if that makes sense. It's expensive for what it is, I used it for a little while 2016 but sold it in the end. A friendcomplimented me whilst wearing it, saying that she'd like something like that as a new frag for herself. I think it's better in warmish weather. As it cools off I think it went a bit Aqua green on me which doesn't suit, though that could just be my nose, this type if frag I'd love to love but they don't love me back often. Light, fresh, citrus but not fruity, not sweet, flowery but not warm warm.

On my skin this is a heavy citrusfresh scent. I do have a problem with citrus-notes - they often turn male'ish on my skin. On other women this is a true beauty in summertime. fresh, flirty and sensuelle. På mig blir detta en rejäl citrusfräsch doft. Jag har problem med att citrusnoter ofta slår ut manligt på min hud tyvärr. På andra tjejer så är detta en sann sommarfräsch underbar doft. Fräsch, flirtig och sensuell.

Very fresh thanx to the Tea-note. Fresh mix with Musk, Pear and Freesia. A bit shortlived on my skin, about 2 hours, but it's ok, the bottle will be empty before fall. Otroligt fräsch tack vare Te-noten. Fräsch mix med Musk, Päron och Freesia. Lite kortlivad på min hud, ungefär 2 timmar men det e ok. Flaskan kommer att vara tom innan hösten.

Eau Fraiche is light and a little citrusy but not sharp. The cashmere wood and musk soften that citrus. It's fresh with green tea. It's perfect for summer. It's soft, elegant and classy. One of my favourite fresh summer scents because it's not the usual harsh citrus or overwhelming aquatic that is presented to us for summer wear.

Untold Eau Fraiche is fruity and light tea cocktail. Pleasant enough. Similar to many other tea scents, like Green Tea and Feraud's Soleil de Jade. Fresh and nice scent, perfect for summer. The most dominant notes are tea and pear. Not bad at all, but original Untold was better. :)

It does resemble Arden's Green Tea a lot. It's only a little bit less citrusy and lasts longer, but it is basically the same scent. They took Green Tea, rainforced it, repackaged in far more attractive bottle and put higher price tag on it. And yet, I like it.

Snagged this at Marshall's for $9.99 after testing it two years ago at Macy's where they were selling it for a gazillion bucks. The opening is a little too cloying but I enjoy the fresh green tea drydown.

This is nice and fresh but so fleeting, it feels like a body mist. Good that it comes in a big bottle!

I wish I could find a way to explain how much I truly love this. I'm on my THIRD 50 mls bottle since the spring lol it's not that it's poor in longevity, it's just that I love it so much! This may sound ridiculous, but anyone else who loves perfumes as much as I do will totally understand...so my husband works literally in the other side of the country, he is gone for three weeks and home for one. Needless to say, our three daughters and I miss him terribly. Anywho, he bought me a scarf for Xmas last year that with all the other scarfs I have this is the only one I wear, it's a really soft cotton material, it's an infinity scarf and has skulls on it... So every night before bed I spray THIS perfume on it and sleep with it in my bed, almost like a child does with their blanket lol not only do I get to think of my hubby but I smell my fav fragrance all night long! :) if I could buy this in some crazy huge quantity I so would!!

I received my bottle in the mail today and was so excited! HOWEVER...the first spritz reminded me of the stuff you put on the bottom of a birdcage. It smells exactly like that! (To me anyway.) I'm sure it's my chemistry at work and not really a bad perfume. Truly bummed though. I adore the UNTOLD original, but this is not what I hoped it would be. :( Don't let my review sway you too much. I live in a very dry climate (New Mexico) and I'm sure this has something to do with it. I hope it's glorious on everyone else! :)

I got this as a sample and for the initial spray I was like "Whoa! Arden's Green Tea Version 128665456598! How Original!". I love green scents, and I actually love Arden's original green tea, but Untold Eau Fraiche is boring and uninspiring. I only smell green & white tea from the first spray to the dry down. It seems like the perfumers are running out of ideas for a new, complex & exciting fumes. I'm not impressed.

Somebody in this thread of reviews has already mentioned the resemblance to EA Green Tea. I won't say it's the exact same scent but... Like as if somebody removed everything "90s" from Green Tea, put a drop of expensive perfume in it, and gave the scent a new life/repackaged it. Not worth paying the full price but for a bargain you'll get a modernized version of the EA classic Green Tea.

Untold Eau Fraiche is modern, elegant take on the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea line. The Green Tea line fragrances are almost body sprays - simple, linear and fresh. Untold Eau Fraiche is a true perfume with more complexity and longevity. Untold Eau Fraiche evolves into a lovely, woody floral. It's light enough to wear to the office. It wears close to the body but lasts all day.

I love Untold Eau Fraiche. I had this fragrance for sell on Ebay....but I ended the listing because I just could not part with it. It's a beautiful summer fragrance. I wish perfume houses still made fragrances like this. Fresh, clean, green, no bitterness...just gorgeous.

Smelled at shoppers today, it's amazing! It smells like something else, but can't think of what!! Love it love it love it! Only reason I didn't buy it is that, well, to be honest shoppers charges at least twice what it would cost online, they wanted 72 dollars for 50 ml!!

I'm so so so excited! I finally bought myself this tonight! I've been wanting to and wanting to for so long now, and I finally did! It is absolutely stunning. What a gorgeous scent! It's light, fruity, girly and airy. I could smell this all day long!

Untold Eu Fraiche is a lovely, light fragrance. This will be perfect for Spring. The scent stays close to the skin and will not offend others around you. A perfect office fragrance.

Wow. Untold eau Faiche and Untold Legere. Maybe we still need Untold Light and Untold Sheer. Yep, I need them.

I want this!!! I love scents like green tea and the Chanel perfume that's green like this.
