White Tea Ginger Lily

Since this is a fragrance with EDT type, of course, the longevity level is moderate or even low. When I first bought it, I was quite disappointed why i bought EDT because as I remember the fragrance smell disappeared quickly, so I kept it for about 3 months in the room, and a surprising thing happened where the fragrance was bolder than when I first unboxed and tried the fragrance, it lasted longer, I love every change of the top notes middle notes and the dry down was so amazing, calming, my mood gets better after smelling this perfume, it's such a healer. this has become my favorite perfume since 2023, and I have repurchased it 3 times, I can't wait for the new one to come, I would unbox and keep it for a month or two months before I would use it for daily use.

This Ginger Lily is my favorite of the White Tea perfumes by Elizabeth Arden. So fresh and fragrant, it makes a nice change from the scents I usually wear that are much heavier with musk and vanilla. Ginger Lily reminds me of spring and summer and the warmer climes. It is lively and invigorating, without being overpowering. There are so few fragrances that have the ginger lily flower, so a most welcome addition to my perfume collection. I've already gone through a large bottle and bought another. Wish they made the cream in this variety too.

This perfume is fresh and clean Remind me of Zara White Jasmin it has the same DNA But in general is pleasant smell better than Mandarin blossom I blind bought , because i like Elizabeth Eden house and i have most of their perfume i stared by 5th Avenue and from comments i though i will not like it but it good and fresh Many of the comments and videos about the smell is not workable they mislead Ginger lily is a good smell for someone who like florey smell i like sweet smell but for me this is is more than ok

The best flanker of the White Tea series, I prefer this to the original because it doesn't have that signature Elizabeth Arden sugar note after you wear it for a couple of hours. This is the perfect everyday scent, office, gym, just going out on a hot humid summer day and feeling fresh. The only complaint I have it the weak sillage and longevity, even though it's a EDT I have to spray it like a body mist. Smells bright, effervescent, young, fresh and clean.

This is the best flanker out of the entire series; it's fresh, sexy, and sweet. I originally bought Vanilla Orchid but was disappointed by the heavy musk. Ginger Lilly is much more innocent and young. The sweetness is playful and mouthwatering. The ginger note is not very strong but leaves a touch of zest and freshness. This is an every day scent, something you can wear to work or brunch.

I have made the original White Tea my wear to work scent but I like this one much better and it's also gentle enough to wear in the office without upsetting people. Like others have said it opens with ginger and orange and it dries down to beautiful expensive spa lotion scent. Love it and shall continue to wear it as my daily casual/work fragrance.

Fresh sweet citrus floral at the opening then powdery musky came out, im not getting the ginger,in the dry down it get slight soapy,easy to wear edt in summer and spring.its light because it edt formulation,just spray heavier.my brother bought this for me,how can I not love it

I completely agree that this is a distant relative of Omnia Crystalline. First spray is very spicy gingery and a bit generic but after a while the dry down is very fresh, clean and close to the skin. Will purchase.

I think a first perfume where I can clearly smell the ginger. It's very light and fresh and makes my skin smell so clean. Quickly became one of my favorites and I'm already regretting getting only a 30 ml bottle.

Elegant subtle woody scent that lingers but not project. Reminds me of Elegantly Tokyo and Chloe cedrus. Similar vibes rather than smell. Very appropriate for perfume free zones and can be unisex.

I have a body mist with a pronounced ginger note in it. I expected Arden's Ginger Lily to have a similarly strong ginger note, but this isn't the case. I can barely make out the ginger note in this fragrance. I have the original White Tea and love it-- the notes in Ginger Lily are similar to the original, save for the ginger and violet notes. This is a clean, creamy scent that is likely perfect all year round. I love it for Winter/Spring months and will see how it performs in warmer temps. The citrusy notes are loud in the opening, but once the fragrance dries down, it's soft, clean, creamy, almost powdery, and beautiful. The dry-down sits close to the skin, so spray your top if you want better performance. The base notes prevent this fragrance from becoming too screechy. Longevity and sillage are moderate-- it lasted about 3 hours and that's after spraying my top, not my skin. On the skin, it barely lasts an hour. Once I'm done with this flanker, I won't repurchase it-- I'd rather re-purchase the original.

This version of White tea is fresh and spicy and a bit stronger and sweeter than the OG. It doesn’t smell like Green tea at all to me - green tea is more transparent, juicy, watery and bright. White tea matches the slight foggy white colour from the bottles, it’s softer, more milky, far less juicy and fruity. Light in a powdery way! Ginger Lily is much closer to the original when it’s really hot - that’s when the more creamy and powdery notes take centre stage. I get way more Ginger in springtime and it hangs around too! The white tea range have a recognisable DNA, but if you test them on your skin next to each other, they’re all noticeably different. Very much designed for people who like skin scents!

Very nice fragrance. It reminds me of Jimmy Choo Illicit as it has a similar vibe. Illicit is like a cup of hot, sweet ginger tea with lots of honey, very warming and comforting, perfect for cold weather. Meanwhile White Tea Ginger Lily is the summery version: a cup of ice cold ginger tea, no honey but lots of citrus, very refreshing. Perfect for spring and summer. Longevity is a bit tricky though - it completely disappears from my skin in 3 hours, absolutely no trail left behind, but stays a good 10 hours on clothes with considerable sillage, and its traces can be detected for days. I got it on sale, 10 euros for 30 ml which is an absolute steal imo. I will happily use it up during warmer months.

It’s already getting crazy hot in Bombay and one of my favourite “clean, fresh” fragrances to wear on hot days is White Tea Ginger Lily. It opens with burst of effervescent citruses with ginger adding a touch of zing and a hint of white tea. It then settles into a clean, creamy floral that is more like a skin scent. Perfect for work and for hot summer days. I wish sillage and longevity were better but then this is an EDT . To make it last longer, I spritz it immediately after applying body lotion as well as a couple of sprays on my clothes. It’s beautiful. And very affordable too.

I like the ginger in this but it made me and my husband sneeze initially but that goes away quickly (I may have over sprayed). The opening is also more citrus forward than the OG White Tea with the addition of neroli and other fruit. This dries down very similarly to White Tea. I like them both for summer use. Similar concept to Omnia Crystalline with spa/fresh like tea vibes but Crystalline is more of a watery floral. Edit June 2024: came back to say the dry down is almost 100% the same as the OG edt. Wish the spiciness lasted longer.

It's clean, delicate, soft, discrete but last long. It's perfect for all seasons in my opinion, but mostly summer because it's light. I actually like it, but I'm not in love. I'd love this perfume if there was more vanilla and shea blossom or even magnolia. If you know the right perfume for me, let me know ;) Otherwise I will have to try vanilla body lotion with it or spray 1 shot of 7 virtue vanilla woods with it (I just learned that in the perfume community, people are actually layering different perfumes)

fyetan put it perfectly, it is reminiscent of an expensive spa lotion. This fragrance evokes a mental image of being on vacation and entering the lobby of an expensive hotel. Extremely fresh and uplifting while also having a relaxing element to it. Would I purchase a full bottle? probably not, but it reminds me of summer vacation and hotel rooms, which is certainly admirable. The ginger is balanced nicely with the bitter orange and lily notes, though to my nose the bitter orange is not very prominent.

This smells like quiet luxury. First I smelled the light and refreshing ginger with some soft floral note in the background. As time went by it turned creamier and it resembled more an expensive body cream. Longevity is equal on skin and clothes, around 3 hours. Very lovely, sits close to the skin, will offend nobody. I would choose this over any "your skin but better" fragrances (I tried things like L'eau Papiere and JHAG Not a perfume and those did not work that well). Will most likely get a FB.

I completely agree with previous reviewers: Super nice frag that starts as a flanker and dries down like the OG (maybe a hint left but liking the OG White Tea is mandatory). The opening, to me, is similar/reminiscent of a lot of past loves. On top to Crystalline, Romance comes to mind as well as Gucci Gucci II. Early 2000s bright, a little spicy and fresh florals. This will end up in my collection, for sure. Maybe even in the body cream form, love those from Arden.

This is very nice! Certainly the best White Tea flanker so far. In fact, I think I prefer it to the OG which on me can be a tad overpowering, especially in summer. I'm not going to run out to buy this since I already have the OG ( even though, unlike the other flankers, it probably is different enough to justify owning both), but if and when I ever finish that one I will consider replacing it with this flanker.
