Brilliant White Diamonds

This perfume has begun to grow on me. I got a fantastic deal on a huge bottle (ordinarily I don't care too much what the bottle looks like but I do find this one quite pretty) but at first whiff, it had a bit of a synthetic feel to me. I wasn't giving it a fair chance though, I only kept smelling it without applying it thinking it wouldn't suit the occasion (whatever it happened to be). After applying it however, it actually could be an everyday office, to running errands to even a date night evening fragrance and seems to mix well with my chemistry and works just as well on my clothes. After the initial first spray, the synthetic I was detecting fades away very quickly and it becomes a nice soft, fresh and clean, light floral citrusy scent that I personally find any age appropriate despite other reviews I have read (although I still have yet to find or feel any fragrance is only geared to ONE specific age group). For daytime use, one spritz is enough and it has lasting power, for a bit more of a seductive noticeable scent, perhaps two to three sprays would suffice as the sillage seems to remain the same and definitely is inoffensive. This is my first Elizabeth Taylor perfume (and it was a blind buy so I'm glad I have now given it a fair chance) but it also has honestly surprised me too. I have tested others in the past and they have all been far too strong and just unappealing due to their strength and overall "overdone" impression they have given me. Even though not overly complex, I find it to have the right mixture and do think citrus should be followed by white floral in the notes description as it would be more accurate imo.

Fresh and clean, without being "soapy" or powdery, which I would love if it were. But there's something so classy and beautiful about this scent. White floral all the way.. I can't pinpoint musk, but perhaps it blends so well I'm not noticing it as much. My dad's gf says I smell like lilacs, which is lovely because they're one of my favourite flower scents, however, I smell peonies and white roses on top of the other white florals. Very surprised to see there are no peonies in the notes. It's not very intense, doesn't leave much of a trail, and perfect for spring but seems to shine bright in the heat of summer. If you love white florals, this is a must have. I paid 20$ for 100ml at SDM and hope I can find white diamonds one day for the same price as from what others say, it is more up my alley. It's currently summer here and I'm enjoying wearing this every day. It's especially nice after a shower. I've been layering it over Avon's Haiku lotion as that adds the powdery notes I feel this one is missing (for me). I spray abundantly and respray often as it tends to fade quickly on me and it's so gentle I can't see this offending anyone. Would rate this as office friendly. The bottle is STUNNING and as Adriana Aroma mentions below, they don't mess around with the atomizer! It's likely the most efficient mister of all my perfumes. Wish they all sprayed like this gorgeous bottle! Think I'd like to always have this darling in my collection. I'm typically a fan of edp strong perfumes I can smell after returning to a room I've been in, but surprisingly, I love this one!

Brilliant white diamonds is definitely the most different out of the three (white diamonds, sparkling white, and brilliant) When I first spray it it's weird. But don't let that yet you because it's only for literally a second. It immediately starts to warm up and smells like flowers.I would say out of the three it has the least amount of the powdery smell. After its had a few minutes it starts to smell like citrus. Then it moves onto the honeysuckle smell, which is surprisingly nice. Its not anywhere as strong as the other two, definitely easier on the head. It's much more light and playful. Probably my favorite of the three. It maintains the citrus smell for a while and doesn't really change after that.

its the first ever perfume i remember falling in love with.. a friend of mine had received it as a gift and i had sprayed a little on..instant love! this was 15 yrs ago..i havent worn it since and havent been able to find it in stores..finally found it on Amazon! waiting for it to be delivered to India!! hope i still like it! fingers crossed! Edit: its here! and i love it! :) strong sillage and lasts long on skin, longer on clothes (14hrs for me). too much can be cloying . wish i could smell more mandarin orange though. On me its mostly tuberose.still..great to know that i still love it.

This would be absolutely delightful if it wasn't for those chemically aldehydes. The aldehydes just run over the gorgeous notes that make it fresh pretty and juicy. Im trying to find a way to love this and appreciate the aldehydes. In the heat this resembles jlo glow but glow is better. I keep sniffing my hand to enjoy the beautiful notes but each time i have to get past the headache inducing chemical aldehydes. This would be a love but its only a like cuz of the heavy chemicals (aldehydes).

this is such a great scent in the white diamonds line......its so refreshing clean & surprisingly light........its wonderful to spray after u take a shower (at night) after a long hot day hiking or whatever fun adventure - it feels clean & crisp - perfect for cozying up at night :) u can get it really cheap on the fragrance discount sites so its a perfect find :)

This is my favorite White Diamonds flanker after Rubies and Diamonds. It starts off with a crisp, orange citrusy blast paired with cool green undertones and lots of lily and lily of the valley, and a touch of velvety roses. It has a sharper, more 'pricey' feel to it than Sparkling White Diamonds, which I also love. This fragrance works great in warm weather.

To my nose this is a magnificent honeysuckle citrus musk scent. I get no tuberose (thank god) and the longevity is amazing. This is the very best honeysuckle inspired perfume I've come across in my admittedly limited experience. Comparable to Aerin Lauders Mediterranean honeysuckle Elizabeth Taylor has given us something special with this one.

Just a gentle suggestion to those whose bottle smells different from expectations: give it a few weeks to macerate. Let it sit a bit, it may improve greatly. Same for other Elizabeth Taylor perfumes. This is a lovely light floral. Inoffensive in all uses. Great mood lifter!

My 2 favorites, Brilliant White diamonds and Sparkling White diamonds. They are both soft. Sparkling is a bit more aromatic and reminds me of young girl's perfumes of the 70's, 80's. Brilliant is more lemony and rosy.

Wet, dewy, spring rain (with zero aquatic), floral! This is outstanding! If you like SPJ Lovely Sheer, this is similar, but amped-up. Absolutely phenomenal if you like this type of scent profile.

i m not a huge fan of citrus perfumes but this one is creamy crisp and beautiful! it's like sugarcoated lemonpeel with sweet white flowers! amazing, love it! lasting power and sillage enormeous!

Not the best of the E.T frags for me, but I still quite like it, at first I wasnt too sure of the citrus note in it. After a while on my skin though, it settles down to the beautiful carnation

I was out finishing up my Christmas shopping, I like to get it done before Black Friday and I am finally done. Anyway, I picked up Brilliant White Diamonds in TJMAX. I wasn't going to get this one because it was said that it was so much like Sparkling White Diamonds but I don't think it is at all. Sparkling White Diamonds starts off w/ neroli and goes into a fine lily scented soap and then dry's down into an astringent clove. It is a more neutral type of perfume. One that you wear when you don't really want to be perfumed to the hilt. Brilliant WD starts off w/ mandarin orange and goes right to honeysuckle. It smells like a very strongly scented honeysuckle body lotion. This will be nice in the late spring and summer when they are blooming in our area. This is what I thought the Legacy should've smell like, at least on top because that one says honeysuckle for a top note and all I got w/ Legacy was a ton of bergamot. The dry down for Brilliant White Diamonds is a slight sandalwood and musk combining w/ the remaining honeysuckle. This is a simple basic perfume, perfect for casual summer days. You only need a little, this is strong and will last though a hot summer day. Would be a good one after a work out. Good value for the money. Edit: 11/11/21 This is very aldehydic so if you are sensitive (and I am) apply very lightly. I would use this fragrance after a workout or in very hot weather and spray on the back of my knees and under my arms. This isn't anywhere near as good as the Original White Diamonds or the Sparkling but I still had to give it a like vote considering what I have smelled on the market as of late in ULTA/Sephora. I paid $14 for this. It is a basic fragrance yes, but at least it smells like a perfume and not candy covered in corn syrup, the inside of a coffee house, shower gel, or something weird and totally off the wall like so many newer fragrances smell like right now and are charging really big money for. I enjoy the older perfumes from this house a lot more than their newer offerings and think I will stop buying the newer flankers, especially since Legacy was such a bust.

This is a very soft fragrance when compared to all other Elizabeth Taylor scents. The silage is very light, I think its hard to over spray this one, where with her other flankers you definitely need to spray less than 3, and then hold on for the top note ride because it can be a turn off at first. It is citrusy light floral on me. I get absolutely no powder smell despite the rose. It is a pale ghost of the original, where I feel sparkling is like a light version without the spices and patchouli. The addition of the honeysuckle and vanilla notes lend a slight sweetness, just enough like the sugar in lemonade, it sort of tames the sourness of the citrus. Its slightly creamy, I think from the tuberose. Something about it makes me think of Palmers Shea Butter. I haven't smelled it in a long time, but somehow that was what it called to my mind so I could be mistaken. I like it! I think its a perfect summer fragrance. Its clean and confident and somewhat tropical to me, with out the overdone sweetness of pineapple or coconut notes. I will wear this in warm weather or when I want a scent but need to be careful of anyone around me being offended. I think I might play with it to layer upon other perfumes that may need a little citrus or sweetness. Also! I forgot to add my Husband absolutely loves this one!

I was going to get White Diamonds out of curiosity and because I'm a fan of Elizabeth as an actress, but Brilliant White was on sale and WD was unavailable at the time of purchase. Once I get over the initial headache this seems to induce for me, this is a nice and classic, fresh, floral fresh. Since I do get a bit of a headache if I sniff this too closely right out of the bottle, I have to spray just 1 or 2 small sprays as far away from the nose as possible (behind the knees, maybe even a light spray on my pants in the morning so the scent is not lingering as close to my sniffer) which so far has worked great. Sometimes I'll put it on my wrist, but I have to hold my wrist out as far from my nose as possible and be careful not to smell my wrist for the next 10 or so minutes. This way instead of the headache I'm just left with the lovely classic clean and floral smell which I love.

Opening with a sweet, harmonic blast of tuberose, this isn’t a demure perfume, just like its sisters. Tuberose hand in hand with mandarin slowly give way to honeysuckle, who steals the show before musk comes in and tames it. Green, green, green. That’s the only color that comes to mind when I first smell this. It’s a true delight and possibly my favorite of the White Diamonds family along with Sparkling. Out of all of them, this might be the most unique one. The WD DNA isn’t too prominent in this one, unlike the aforementioned Sparkling White Diamond. Overall a lovely, clean, pleasant perfume. I just wish there was some way to keep that first blast of tuberose you get when you first spray it forever P.S. Could you imagine if all perfumes came with the ET WD atomizers? They don’t mess around!

I like this! I wore this on Tuesday to work, run errands, and to a hookah lounge. Very nice fragrance that holds up to various daytime activities. Brilliant White Diamonds is an effervescent, feel good fragrance. It has the DNA of the original White Diamonds, but it is waay less dense! The House of Elizabeth Taylor is a sure winner! Perfume lovers can't go wrong with her fragrances or the 'Diamonds' line! This is a very subtle, musky, fruity-floral. This is very feminine and light, perfect for dressing up or down. Sillage and longevity are great. This would be a great blind buy for anyone not weirded out by Elizabeth Taylor--anyone unafraid of fragrances their Grandmother once wore.

My first bottle of this sickened me right away, so harsh, I gave it away to my neighbour last winter. months later, I bought another one this July on a whim to use up a store credit. Well what do you know...This warm weather really helps this I must say! Clean, lightly green, fresh, and perfectly French smelling to my nose. This summer, I tried to wear Chanel 19 and just couldn't stand it, the newer edt is harsh and gets my throat. This Brilliant White Diamonds is much softer and wearable to me. They do share green notes, rose, and white florals, similar in that way but only slightly so. I've put away my 19 and will finish the summer days with this instead. Light and lovely!
