Rose de Pushkar

This is an exotic rose centric fragrance with a sharp and spicy edge, to be worn when one wants to feel sensual, sexy, or simply pretty... With a little extra something. The rose itself is so stunning here, absolutely stunning! lush and deep, very much a realistic and high quality ingredient, which perfectly captures the citrus, fruity and floral green quality of an actual rose. The pepper and oud used really bring out the deepest parts of the rose scent profile, elevating it beyond what is often smelled in such types of scents. There is patchouli in this, of course. Patchouli being such a common pairing with rose in perfumery, since it plays so well together. However, this is not a rose-patchouli fragrance. Not at all. Instead, 'Rose de Pushkar' is more a rose-oud and spice type scent. Unisex, but leaning somewhat masculine even (despite the more feminine colour of the liquid and bottle design overall). I think the addition of the spices used in this one really give it a unique quality, the saffron makes it almost a little leather and rubber, bringing a little more out of the ouds rosey and leather leanings. Meanwhile, the Amber and tonka base sweeten and soften the sharper edges. This one is a real treasure and I'm glad I bought it on a blind buy, as it's become one of my favourite rose forward perfumes in my collection now.

Rose de Pushkar is a forward rose litchi scent with spicy, ambery, oudy and patchouli touches. It’s layered and complex and smells expensive. I love that Sonia added frankincense and tonka beans to the composition because it makes the whole scent feeling a bit sweet, warm and soft. It’s really pretty. Also, this is a sexy rose, the type I would wear if I was going out on a date. The bottle is small and cute, with a golden cap. The design of the packaging screams luxury to me . The bottle contains a very dark rose liquid that it will stain clothes for sure! I love the scent but for the price, 240€ per 50 ml, it’s a pass for me. I have similar fragrances to Rose de Pushkar already in my collection, so I’m good. First one that popped into my mind would be Scherzo by Miller Harris. Not the biggest lover of rose in fragrances anyway and this would not bring anything new and really exciting to me.

This fragrance instantly transports me to my grandma’s garden, surrounded by trees and blooming rose bushes. It’s a true woody paradise infused with the elegance of roses. Without a doubt, this is the best rose perfume I’ve ever owned! Something truly special and deeply personal to me.

This perfume is Kayali Sweet Diamonds and Pink Pepper older sister. Not for the faint of hearts. It’s strong but very elegant. Ideal for winter and for late dinners or weddings. Valentine’s Day scent for sure. Smells like expensive dark red roses bouquet

Lovely spicy scent for colder months. Ella K fragrances are nothing less but outstanding quality. First impressions are very positive. I like the rose and saffron with the strong peppery opening. Must-try for those who like heavier warm scents.

This and Delina are my Valentine’s Day perfume. I was complimented a lot when I wore this perfume. I melted like red roses bouquet. Really feminine. It also smells like rose Turkish delight and rose jam. Superb

Rose de Pushkar is one stunning rose. The color of the perfume speaks well of how it translates emotionally. It's bright, deep, but also effervescent. The rose is captured so well, it has all those realistic citrusy aspects true roses have. Labdanum, amber, olibanum, oud and patchouli are felt in similar amounts together with that most prominent note - rose. I find it somewhere between other two well known rose perfumes - La fille de Berlin and Radical Rose. It's just the perfect combination of these two. If you find La fille de Berlin too cold and depressive and Radical Rose is too decadent, sweet and resinous for your taste - Rose de Pushkar is an excellent in-between. Only the opening is just slightly different, a bit more peppery and just a tad animalic. But the more time passes, the more warm-jammy and amber-y it becomes. Perfect all year round as well. It has enough brightness and freshness to be wearable during spring and summer, and enough depth, warmth to behave beautiful in autumn and winter. Love!

I really like this after first being turned off by the pungent rose water opening. The dry down is so seductive, rich, and complex. The oud gives it just enough structure and plays a supporting role throughout as the fragrance continues to evolve, but never takes over. What is preventing this from moving into the love category for me is that the burst of rose in the opening is kind of jarring and disappears so quickly It’s hard to understand why it’s there. I think maybe that’s intended to emulate the theatrics of petals on water but it smells exactly like rose water and feels out of place as it dies down to a more nuanced rose. The bottle is the icing on the cake. Especially when you realize that it’s the liquid that is hot pink, giving it such a voluptuous and striking appearance. I would like a full bottle of this but it’s priced beyond my desires.

Nice modern rose with dusty spiced undertone and rich ambery base. Well-balanced jammy (in the good way) rose with a gourmand vanilla touch. It has a oud-y dry down (slightly sour one) and a medium sillage (actually was expecting a bit more from it). Follow me on IG: scent.guide

I love Ella K especially lettre de pushkhar. This one to me is much more masculine, piercing, sharp, leathery almost. Even a touch rubbery in a way probably the pepper. Still gorgeous, with a twist of citrus exoticism which I've never been able to pair with rose. Nice creation, one for those who crave something a bit more masculine, sharp, tart, and a little medicinal / rubbery beneath the roses. Lettre de pushkhar on the other hand is much more gourmand, oriental feminine ambery spicy. Great quality scents, great brand, bomb lasting power, worth the price. ** Rose dragon carner bacelona is quite similar.

This is, what I would describe, a rose centric perfume, with the rose having a certain sharpness about it. I believe it’s the black pepper that amplifies that aspect of rose. This sharpness I perceived in very similar way in another rose centric scent: Armani Privé Rose d'Arabie. Note to self: I should’ve tested a bit more before buying a full bottle. Edit: I’m baffled by this perfume. I keep coming back to it and keep sniffing my wrists. I like it but then I’m a bit apprehensive at the same time. One thing is for sure: it keeps gradually growing on me. So I decided to keep it.

incredibly juicy rose and litchi a bit like candy or Turkish delights. one of the best from the brand, crowd pleaser and safe blind buy. Dont see any similarity with Byredo Reine De Nuit. That one is a sour and smoky rose. This one is more rounded and more sweet and juicy. amazing perfume, wow

Pepper sharp herbal rose... This is mostly a herbal rose with doses of pepper, patchouli, musk, olibanum, powdery cedar, powder sandalwood, and powder amber. Beautiful indeed with this desert rose scenery.
