Guava Granita

🩷 This is a very vibrant and sweet candied guava scent with a yummy mix of fruits that add their own lil unique touches here n there, with a creamy vanilla and sandalwood base. The guava is definitely the star of the show here and It’s very candy like, juicy sweet. This is tropical and summery but w/o any sunscreen vibe imo (thank the lawd). It smells like you spilled a sweet tropical fruity drink on you and it’s delicious! The sweetness is intoxicating. It starts off guava heavy and stays that way for a good bit until it slowly transforms and you start picking up more of the other notes. I start getting hints of coconut, aquatic melon, creamy banana and ‘mango blossom’ (which comes off more like a sweet ripe mango to me vs a blossom). Then I start picking up on a creaminess and the sandalwood starts peeking through. (On me the fruity notes (besides the guava) feel like they’re blended together really well and so they’re less noticeable/in your face and are harder to pinpoint, but I definitely get hints of them throughout. But I do wish they were more noticeable). After about an hour, the strong guava scent has mellowed out a bit as it’s mixed in more with the rest of the notes, and it feels more balanced. This is my favorite part. It continues to dry down with more of that sandalwood and vanilla coming through and I think that adds a nice base to all of the sweet candy like fruitiness. I don’t specifically pick up on any almond milk or nuttiness but this does have a nice creaminess to it in the base. Overall I really love this!! I looove guava/guava juice so I was rly excited for this release. I think it’s so fun and playful and perfect for summer WITHOUT that sunscreen vibe that is in so many summery fragrances. 🩷 Update: after owning this for atleast a couple months this has changed so much in such a good way!! It’s way stronger now & lasts longer. I smell more of the melon and banana, the sweetness is just so intoxicating & addicting. It smells like the color pink. I don’t see where so many ppl are getting more coconut, for me it’s mainly guava. I highly recommend if you love fruity girly summery scents 😍

Perfume of the summer or at least it should be. This smells like biting into a perfectly ripe guava on a hot day, juicy and fresh but never too sweet. It’s like a cool, fruity granita that wakes up your senses without feeling heavy or sticky. There’s a light tropical breeze running through it with just the right touch of sunshine and subtle florals that keep it feeling bright and effortless. The kind of scent that makes you feel pretty and confident without trying too hard. From the very first whiff, you get that mhmmm, oooh, ahhh feeling like when something just hits perfectly and you can’t help but smile. Honestly, it’s the best fruity fragrance I’ve smelled in a minute.

Listen, I'm calling it rn this is gonna be a hugely popular scent, possibly THE scent of summer! You seriously wanna drink this, it's so good and mixed to perfection. Bee hit yet another home run! Update: okay I'll totally admit I was wrong, I do not actually think this is gonna be THE scent of the summer now after owning it for a few weeks now, I now feel it leans too Vacation by Vacation-y scent for me however I'm really into the Milkshake mists that are dropping v soon 👀 (banana, lychee, and mango) and I think those are gonna be even better for hot summer days instead- although you could layer those with Guava granita too ofc

This is a very specific scent association, but this one smells exactly like the Maui Babe body cream you can buy at ABC stores on the island. Coconut heavy, synthetic banana fades after about 2hrs, and other tropicals (guava, bergamot, florals) blended all together in a happy tanning oil kind of way. Nothing like I thought it would be, not a fresh and bright scent, but fun nonetheless. Edit: I’m learning that Ellis Brooklyn fragrances change a fair bit in the first month of use. This has become much more fruity and juicy, less balmy and coconut heavy. I still like it a lot! It’s very happy.

If you like fruity tropical fragrances then this is absolutely a must! I’m falling in love with this brand the more I smell their perfumes. I’m not good at detecting what notes are what but I can say this is fruity like crazy! Perfect for summer for sure, I mean I’ll wear a perfume whenever the hell I want to lol but I can see people viewing this as a summer scent! Great blind buy! Kind of on the pricey side so hoping I can find a full size for a good price they travel sprays are over 50 dollars !

This is such a gorgeous, juicy fragrance, so fruity and delicious. It reminds me of Cheirosa 48 a little. They're both juicy guava scents, though 48 has more of a synthetic, syrupy vibe. This is more "realistic" smelling, has more fruit notes, and smells brighter and more aquatic than 48 in my opinion. I would loveeee to wear this all Summer. Definitely worth a try if you love something sweet, juicy and tropical. ETA: This has way better longevity than Miami Nectar in my experience

Summer in a bottle! It’m sure to some this is not ground breaking but if you love guilty summery scents like I do then you’ll love this. The opening is a strong fruity punch with the guava, banana, and melon I get the guava and melon the most, the dry down is creamy coconutty and tropical bliss the dry down reminds me of Ouai St. Barts but more fruity. This has better longevity and silage than the Ellis sun fruit. I Love it I’m definitely going to purchase a large bottle.

This was an immediate LOVE for me. It starts out very bright, tropical, fresh & fruity (guava, banana, melon) and the drydown is very similar to Miami Nectar, just with more vanilla/coconut and a hint of melon. It's a dreamy fruit bomb and I'm obsessed with it. I get pretty good longevity with this one, 5 to 6 hours on skin and all day on clothes. You just need to be prepared to smell like a bowl of fruit... if you're not into that, I would skip this one.

This is one of the best tropical fruity fragrances out there right now. It’s very feminine and smells like the color of the bottle (bright pink) — The guava, banana, and coconut are everything. I bought a travel spray, but I’ll be picking up a full bottle asap. Definitely the best I’ve smelled from Ellis Brooklyn 👏 I’m very impressed. *Btw this layers extremely well with Leisure in Paradise or Yum Boujee Marshmallow/ Marshmallow Blush.

This goes through quite the transformation as you wear it. The guava sharpness in the front subsidies into a sweet banana, coconut, floral scent, then it dies down and lands on a banana and Almond milk with a hint of guava and sandalwood. Very lovely. I do prefer it on my clothes more, as it seems to hold onto the fruity guava and melon notes much better. I like it a lot, but I still prefer Sunfruit and Salt as my go-to's for summer.

this is actually really fun. i prefer it to miami nectar, which ended up with a strangely cheap-cologne-like drydown. i guess i don't really get guava which would reasonably disappoint people - to my nose it's mostly a coconut-banana with some soft florals, plus the almond milk-vanilla base. it's a creamy summer gourmand without heady white florals (and it's much better than kayali sweet banana). might pick up the travel size!

Sweet, fun, fruity tropical drink. I smell the banana first. It’s a banana candy, not realistic banana. Then the other tropical fruits come in. Well blended. Not screechy at all. Easy reach. You probably smelled something similar to this before but I enjoy EB’s warm weather releases, so it’s a keeper. It’s like a sister to last year’s Miami Nectar, though I prefer this more.

Super-sweet guava cantalope. The syrupyness is broken up by a watery quality. This is addictive stuff. I think of all my favorite fruity candy body sprays but stronger when I wear this, so it is not complicated whatsoever. The cantaloupe gives it a unique twist. The most girly girl scent you can think of. A standout on a hot summer day.

Guava Granita is the equivalent to a Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works body spray. It is a sweet, sticky, mess that doesn't have an ounce uniqueness or sophistication. Save a bit of your money and catch something very similar in the Bath and Body Works Clearence bin.

This is SOOOOO delicious oh my goddd.. juicy, tropical, sweet, creamy. Starts off more with the juicy guava fruity notes, but as it dries down, the banana/coconut and addictive creaminess begins to pull through more. Very nostalgic smelling to me.. I love it!

This is my favourite summer scent - I so badly wish this would last longer. It’s a fresh, yet sweet fruity vanilla scent that makes you want to keep going back for it. Reminds me of a summer drink on a beach. Very addictive but with very poor longevity :(.

Smells actually delicious and the guava note is STRONG! This layered with sol de janiero 48 is chefs kiss! I do wish for the price it lasted longer but that’s just the way most Ellis Brooklyn fruity scents work 💔

Adore! My mom recently received this perfume as a gift and it smells so good~ It’s very inoffensive and sweet. Like a milky guava scent with a hint of Bannana. Perfect for the summer time imo.

Months later, this is heavy on the coconut, in a strong, good way. It has definitely changed since I first bought it. It's much stronger now. That's a good thing!

Finally A BETTER VERSION OF NAVITUS MELON KISS. This is more long lasting and creamy. The coconut and the melon are the stars in the dry down. Perfection! 🤭🤭

juicy, delicious.... the musky notes in the after smell are so well balanced and not in your face at all. a mature and fun, natural fruity tropical scent

If you like beyond romance but it doesn't last you'll like this. It smells very similar.

This is so good on ,my skin ! bomb diggy! Might be not too strong but it does linger quietly and it will wear nice in the heat. I can layer this with any tropical scent or beachy summer coconut scents like : bbworks coconut BALI , Vacation edp , wakki coconut mist , fiji sunshine mist , dossier aquatic vanilla , sol Janeiro 87 , Quai mist, VS JADE mist , pink coconut twist etc. Bombshell isle edp is good with this ...bombshell Escape is more tuberose beachy, but ISLE IS BETTER. Bombshell isle was discontinued and is phenomenal with this! Its fun and good to layer with for spring and summer. 9/10 I don't get nothing plastic, sour, its not miami manly nectar , and its Not sol 48 at all (Thats like ARI thank you next ) its not suppose to be super heavy or cloying for a summer scent. Also letting the bottle sit and age a bit , might be a good thing too. This is femme . Miami nectar I disliked , with a masculine woody drydown.

This one is super fruity, it honestly smells exactly like the colour of the bottle. Bright, juicy, and fun. It’s delicious and playful, though I’ll admit I’m probably testing it in the wrong season. I’ll be saving my sample to wear properly next summer when the sun’s out. I really do like it. It smells like a hot pink cocktail, think something sweet, tropical, and happy. The downside is the longevity. It only lasted about two hours on my skin, which feels a bit ridiculous given the price. It reminds me a lot of Cheirosa ’48 from Sol de Janeiro, maybe just a touch sweeter and slightly more artificial, but in a good way. Overall, it’s a really pretty, fun, summery scent, I just can’t justify the price point. My fiancé gave it a 9 out of 10, said it was summery and nice, but that I already have better summer options. He’s probably right, but it’s still a joy to wear.

This is so yummy! On my skin its guava, banana, coconut milk, and melon with a sweet vanilla/almond base~ Its a simple and fun fruity tropical scent that's easy to reach for... but maybe a little synthetic? I love that it isn't a sunscreen scent (way too many summer scents are), and the guava/banana combo makes it stand out from other scents I own! The overall impression makes me think of a fruity smoothie, which is always a plus! It feels playful and bright, and really shines on warm days~ Its a more youthful and fun option compared to Miami Nectar, and I tended to reach for this when I was craving variety ^^/ I think when my bottle is low, I'll try to restock it... buuuuut I wouldn't be as sad as if I missed out on more Miami Nectar! What I know for sure is that I need to find more guava scents!

For now it's a like, not a love... it's very sweet. I smell mostly sweet vanilla and coconut. I hope I will smell more banana the more I wear it. Miami Nectar is still my absolute favourite Ellis Brooklyn perfume! Update: Still searching for the banana. However after a full day wear on my wrist, I can say I definitely like the drydown better than the opening. It is a bit similar to Miami Nectar, which must be why I like it. I am still struggling with the opening, I wish I smelled banana, but I only smell a sort of mess of fruity notes, with coconut. Reminds me of a synthetic ultra sweet fragrance I had when I was much younger. I hope this feeling will fade since I don't really enjoy scents that remind me of what I wore when I was younger.

I’m so embarrassed that I enjoy this. It smells like tropical candy (think starburst) and sunscreen. There is nothing sophisticated or complex happening here. It’s straight up gooey sweet. But in the stifling heat of summer, when I’m in my t-shirt and cut offs, dripping with sweat, this hits the spot. THANK GOD it’s not too heavy, else it would strangle you— like getting choked to death by salt water taffy. As it is, the banana, coconut, guava, and sandalwood mix with my chemistry in just the right way. I layer this with IDKW to freshen it up — it’s nice! In all honesty, though, this perfume is a missed opportunity. Turn the fake fruit down, and kick up the wood and marine accords, and GG would be PERFECT. A bit of a shame.

I am a HUGE hater of the fruity perfumes. To me they smell cheap and juvenile. That said ...I am NOT hating on this luscious tropical vanilla coconut banana smoothie..nope! It's a delicious concoction and was receiving compliments the first time I wore it. Men like this. And so do I, what can I say? The performance is better than most EB scents and while, no, it's not groundbreaking, but when you walk into a room and men lift up their heads and ask " Who smells good enough to eat?" WELL. Sorry, haters, I'm WEARING THIS JUICE. Nothing wrong with smelling delicious.

This is objectively a good fruity-floral but it's also nothing crazy or revolutionary. It smells exactly like you think it would by just looking at the bottle, notes, and marketing. I think you can get very similar scent profiles for half the price. Especially considering the performance is pretty average. You'll get a couple hours of real wear before it vanishes completely, as is the case with most Ellis Brooklyn scents. Overall, pretty generic summery fresh fruity-floral that is generally crowd pleasing. Rating: 6/10

I really like this perfume! It’s like summer in a bottle. It’s sweet and the most prominent notes are definitely guava with a creamy banana mixed into it. It almost smells like an air freshener? But I’m kind of into it. It layers very well with sol de janeiro cheirosa 48 body mist. The longevity on this is quite poor on the skin so I wouldn’t get a full bottle of it (especially since it’s quite expensive..) but it’s a fun fragrance to have for the summer!

What a fun summer scent! The banana and guava blend together into a fruity mix that is going to wear well in the heat. I don’t smell the similar notes from Miami Nectar that others claim is in there. They are different tropical summer frags. This is more fruity forward hot sand and MN is more coconut white floral and airy. A whole bottle of this would be too much for me so I’m glad I stuck with the travel size since it’s really ONLY good in summer.

Got a sample of this in the Space NK birthday gift. Gorgeous fruity summer scent! Sometimes I find tropical perfumes can run a bit sickly but this just the right balance of refreshing and sweet. The banana peel note adds an interesting edge. However, I really don't think the price for a full bottle is justifiable for this. Its delightful but not worth enough to pay over £100 for! Could probably find a similar fragrance for a much lower price.

This is going to be my go to this summer! I'm not a huge coconut fan, especially if it leans 'sunscreen-ish', but this is lovely. The guava is almost candied in the opening, very juicy and sweet. The banana mixes with the coconut well to give it a creamy drydown. It's still fresh and sweet, but gives the perfect beach vibe.

Not too bad. As others have mentioned it’s very juvenile smelling and feels like a cheap body spray but a good one. Reminds me of Kayali's Maui in a bottle but I think I like Guava better since the Kayali hat a bit of a skanky vibe to me. I’d only buy a travel size on a really good deal since I think it’s way too overpriced

I've tested this multiple times but haven't bought this yet. I do like it though. Juicy guava note right off the bat and you also get some banana in there. Nice scent for the warm weather and for a vacation. I do already have Miami Nectar though so this might be a tad redundant as the dry down is similar to that one.

Ugh I love the gorgeous fruity shampooey guava note in this... but for being a guava fragrance the actual guava note lasts for about 10 minutes and then immediately turns into a salty solar skin scent- which is nice! I don’t mind how this settles, but for the price I wish the bright fruity opening lasted longer :-/

I like this, but I must say the initial spray is very juvenile - remember the 2012 pink Hollister spray? Fruity, almost bubble-gum sweetness. However it does mellow down once dried. Whilst still sweet and fruity, it dries to a slightly more fresh scent. Not as good as Miami Nectar, but better than Isla Sirena

Starts off with a blast of melon flavored bubble gum, sunscreen and maybe a pina colada. Dries to a creamy pineapple and melon. Personally don’t get guava at any point and I have made fresh guava juice, cut guava, strained guava, etc. A delicious tropical sunscreen but I don’t get guava :/. Still great!

On paper you get that juicy, fruity summer cocktail scent but on my skin it’s very lactonic and almost sunscreen-y. I bought mine off of a reseller for about 40% off retail. Not sure if I would pay full price. Can’t wait to layer it with Miami Nectar and Coral Coast by Saltair.

Guava Granita was sooo promising at first spray. Incredibly juicy and surprisingly complex, but it fades after just a few moments. If Ellis Brooklyn finds a way to make the formula last longer, I will be RUNNING to get myself a bottle.

The fragrance is that of a juicy beach cocktail... however, for both myself and my sister, longevity just isn't there. Why pay designer fragrance prices for body mist performance?

Its lovley fruity and exotic smell, but it is so weak. The juicy notes of banana and guava fades away quickly. The this smells like miami nectar. Which I don't love.

Out of all the Ellis Brooklyn perfumes I tried today, I enjoyed this one the most. It was refreshing and sweet. Will definitely be purchasing a bottle.

I adore Guava Granita's opening. It's fruit forward - so achingly sweet you can feel the juice dripping down your chin as you bite in, a banana cloud hovering close behind. It's exactly why I bought it. Heavenly!! The dry down though...... the dry down... a let down like no other. The party is over, tiki torches snuffed out... all that remains is the drone of flies and a lingering stench of festering leftovers from the overflowing garbage can. Sorry Guava Granita! ** Note - I already bought a 50 ml of this, so have been trying various layering combos to salvage it. Something in the dry down just doesn't work without the sweet. Mod Vanilla seems to really do the trick. It infuses the sugary sweetness back in and has great lasting power. I am cautiously optimistic that this duo will be a real winner.

I wanted to love this one but it's just okay to me. On my skin it feels more floral than fruity and doesn't necessarily match the notes listed, but that is just my opinion. It's not very long lasting and the banana does fade away pretty quick, about as fast as a tropical summery Escada edt. It's not bad by any means though, it's a classy and subtle summer tropical fragrance. I get mostly white floral/ylang Ylang, coconut, melon, and a tiny bit of sweet red fruits. Think high-end shampoo from a tropical resort spa. I blind bought this and would say go try it first before blind buying. I think it will play nice in plenty of layering combos at least
