This is one that truly shines & smells best in the air wafting around you once it’s heated up on your skin Vs smelling it directly from your arm/paper. I was shocked I liked this so much after testing in store. This release didn’t even peak my interest (& I LOVE EB) bc the idea of lime + coconut didn’t feel like my thing. But this is SO much more than just lime n coconut! It opens up like a realistic lime & coconut cocktail w a salted rim. It’s citrusy, tart, bright, lots of lime, but that fades fairly quickly and settles into the most GORGEOUS dry down ever 😍 The sharpness of the lime fades and you start to get a ton of warm brown sugar sweetness and a ton of CREAMINESS from the vanilla and banana. The banana really shines in this, it’s so creamy and tropical in such a comforting, addictive and sensual way 🍌 The coconut water is perfectly done imo, not sunscreen-y at all, just adds to the tropical exotic refreshing vibe. The combo of the brown sugar, vanilla, banana, coconut water and hints of lime is truly intoxicating. My mom HATES perfumes and the minute I sprayed this on she immediately said omgg what is that!? that smells sooo good I rly love that one 😍 n she wouldn’t stop talking about it. That’s so rare lol. I highly recommend getting your nose on this weather or not the notes look interesting to you cause this shocked me & has made it to my top 5 fav fragrances out of my whole collection. I swear Ellis Brooklyn just knows how to do a banger summer scent. Performance is also great this lasts literally all day on me and it lingers soo beautifully the way it plays in the air 🥹 🍋🍬🥥💦🍌🍸🧂🥮🧜

The opening of Isla Sirena is a salty lime margarita with sugar on the rim. The coconut water comes in to add some freshness, and then the dry down is sweet and woody. I do pick up on the banana but it’s a very fleeting note. Projection is moderate. I think Ellis Brooklynn has really improved the longevity of their formula. I still over sprayed and I got eight hours of wear. Towards the end of those eight hours I did forget that I was wearing this, but I would flip my hair and I catch a whiff of the woody sweet base. Isla Sirena was not a love at first sniff, but it did grow into a love. I rated it a 8/10 because a lime and coconut water perfume is not that original but I really love this interpretation of that profile. I love how they took the base in a different direction. The brown sugar is really prominent, and it warms up on my skin beautifully. I think it also helps with longevity. I also really love he teakwood, which is my one of my favorite notes and can make this lean unisex. For layering combo suggestions that feel like summer; try Isla Sirena with BBW Coconut Lime Verbena and Mugar Alien Goddess.

After testing my travel for a few days I’ve come to the conclusion that I really enjoy this scent. I for one have always loved lime and coconut smells ever since BBW introduced me to that profile. But I’ve never found that scent profile in a perfume that I enjoyed until this one. Outside of Creed’s Virgin Island Water, but that’s more masculine than I’d prefer. This is very beachy, breezy and carefree. It really smells like a limeade made with coconut water thats sweetened with cane sugar. I do get a bit of a creaminess, probably from the vanilla and papaya. But something in this, maybe the ginger flower and salt? Keeps the scent effervescent. It’s a light wear that performs well in the heat as I can smell it as I move for 3-4 hours. I’m sensitive to many perfume notes so I tend to go for airy, fresh perfumes. Happy to be able to add this to my day time summer rotation. This fragrance is not ground breaking but if you’ve been wanting a lime and coconut mixed perfume that leans feminine and sweet, in comparison to like Jo Malone’s Beach Blossom, this is the way to go.

@killibin needs a psychiatrist asap. I’m shocked of the low ratings. However, after reading one of the reviews, the people reviewing aren’t right in their head. This is a beautiful sensual, seductive secretive scent. The main star is the lime and coconut but it’s done in such a beautiful way with her other counterparts....which give it that that tropical alluring enticing addition. When you spray it you want more.. you’re curious. The perfect fabric is a beautiful silk lingerie or dress in the cool breeze. The perfect idea would be dancing under the stars with a cool breeze....perfect summer night, under the moon /lit stars. I feel sexy , I feel mysterious when wearing this ....because you don’t know what you’re smelling. It makes you wonder , but in a good way. You notice it brings people closer to you. They wonder what you’re wearing because it smells so good and inviting. This scent produces a burst of dopamine. Try it ! You will love it...if you have good taste and not a psycho !

I’m a citrus girly but I was apprehensive about the top notes of this being lime and salt. I thought it would be way too salty and tart, and I didn’t really want to smell like a margarita. While at first spray the lime and salt IS prominent, this is a wonderful scent. Tropical, clean, citrusy with just a tiny bit of spice. If you’re like me and think Guava Granita is a little too sweet for your tastes, Isla Sirena is that girl. Once it dries down, the ginger and teakwood notes become SO prominent. The lime mellows out and what’s left is a spicy, woody scent with just a hint of lime. I honestly cannot say enough good things about it, definitely not a safe blind buy, but if you want a clean girl, tropical scent for the summer that isn’t 100% sugar and fruit, I would give this a try. This layered with a coconut body oil?? I’m so excited to wear this all summer long.

Signature summer scent. First spray (which often happens to me) was a no. I let it sit for a day or two and came back to it. It is beautiful. And it lasts hours. I can actually smell it on myself throughout the day. These are the notes I experience on my skin - bright lime (that does not smell like a cleaning product), a greenness (natural, like a palm leaf), coconut water (soft and delicate), a touch of sugar (just the right amount of sweetness), and slightly salted seaside air. I don't smell banana/papaya per se, but I think it makes the scent tropical and smooth. Everything I could ask for in a perfume on a hot day. The dry down is addictive. This is going to be a great pick me on up on cold days as well. No complaints. Not a single one. Loved seeing a favorite perfumer was behind the making of it. Pleasant surprise.

bought the tester to try and immediately fell inlove.. I definitely gear more toward salty fragrances especially with coconut so this is right up my alley. on me, it starts with coconut and lime and then the dry down is straight brown sugar with the citrusy salty lime dancing on top. I got the banana for a brief moment in the middle of it settling which was very interesting smelling the notes play out the way they did. I definitely give it a 10/10 but my nose doesn't like super fruity scents like their guava granita which was headache inducing for me, this Isla Sirena was fresh and exciting. the longevity was moderate giving 6-7 hours on my skin without lotion/oil. I'm def excited to see this scent play out in the heat.

Beautiful warm sweet tropical, incredibly wearable, unisex. Opening is bright and limey, with a smooth coconut water note. Dries down over about an hour to a very creamy blue banana, coconut milk, and brown sugar. Lasts a few hours, leaves your skin smelling sugary and clean. Something about this scent is hard to catch onto on first sniff, it’s maybe a little staticky, but let it settle in and it becomes complex and addictive. I found this one on a hunt for a more elevated B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena dupe. It’s not the same, maybe on first spray the lime is similar, and it does have that 2000s sugary dry down, but it’s not a 1:1 dupe at all. Still in the same family, but more grown up.

I love this for when I want to feel absolutely slutty. It’s funny reading other comments disliking how it smells sour or like BO. That’s exactly what I like about it — it’s kinda salty like sweat, and there’s something pungent and animalic about the scent of papaya that makes me think of sex. Not everything has to be sickly sweet, and the salty elements keep me coming back to this perfume. Plus, the creaminess ties it all together with the fruit. It is luminous and clean... there’s something glowing about this tropical scent.

Like drinking a brown sugar boba tea after a long day at the beach. The beachy notes are only slightly perceptible to me but I'm not mad about it. I sprayed this expecting something more tropical but fell in love with the dry down (which is all I really smell). The brown sugar, teakwood, and vanilla-ish dry down is heavenly. Excited to try this for a summer night out because I think it's just sweet enough to peak interest but the brown sugar gives a sexy depth as well. I want to live on Isla Sirena.

I quite like Isla Sirena, even with the slightly unusual brown sugar note. It’s sweet, tropical, comforting, and more importantly it has decent lasting power compared to other new releases. The fruity aspects are juicy, slightly green and fresh, and thanks to them it doesn’t become cloying at any point. The salt and brown sugar provide an elegant contrast to the fruitiness, and I think it’s probably the most sophisticated tropical fragrance that I’ve ever tried.

This very much a sun screen salty coconut lime scent. Smells like a more feminine Jo Malone Beach Blossom in the opening and then it settles into a similar dry down as Guava Granita without the guava. Both share the coconut, banana and vanilla notes. In the deep dry down I pick up lime, sea salt and vanilla. It’s fresh, juicy and sweet.

Just purchased the travel size. On my first day of wearing, my boss literally stopped a meeting because something smelled so good and he had to know what it was, and proceeded to TAKE A PHOTO of the fragrance. 10/10 summer scent, like enjoying a salted rim marg on a sunny tropical beach.

I’m in love with Isla Sirena, one of the best summer fragrances for gourmand lovers 💛 The composition is rounded coconut 🥥 with citrus at the top 🍋 and brown sugar base 🍮. If you like Capri in a Bottle by Kayali, there’s a good chance you’ll also enjoy Isla Sirena 😉

BBW Coconut Lime Verbena...suuuper nostalgic for me. I bought a travel size but I will probably buy a full bottle. Perfect for summer

ON my skin and directly sniffing nose-to-skin it's no compatible at all on my chemistry, I get the hot tire rubber that someone else mentioned. Despite this, as I moved through life the scent bubble and sillage in the air was magical. Tried it again on clothing only and the experience was fantastic. Fresh coconut water, lime, and sweetness! If Miami Nectar had a baby with Guava Granita and that baby then had a baby with the Jo Malone Beach Blossom is a decent approximation, but after comparison its VERY similar to my nose to Coconut Lagoon from Paris Corner like maybe 85% close with Isla being much sweeter but Coconut Lagoon doesn't react poorly to my skin so I think for me I'm going to have to pass on Isla despite really enjoying it in the air!

Smells exactly like a lime margarita with a sugar and salted rim. Really summery and delicious. I also smell like a corn tortilla with salt and lime with a hint of cilantro but in a sexy way, but hey maybe that’s just bc I’m Mexican. Also smells like if coco shimmy by snif had a hot older sister. I think this would be perfect for a summer night out. I will say though for what you pay for this perfume, this should last way longer. The dry down on this is soooo good, just the most delicious vanilla.

i like it but don’t love it. from the notes + marketing i thought it was going to lean more aquatic & tropical citrus, but it pulls very woody on me. the lime is very prominent (and the wood), along with the salt but there’s also a powdery note in there that reminds me of the batiste dry shampoo (the tropical one). dont love the brown sugar note.... wish it leaned more into the coconut water + fruits with the salt & lime to elevate it.

I really, really like this- a ton more than I thought I would. I didn't think I would like it at all, I thought the coconut would be too heavy for me. But it's really nice, it's like biting into a pina colada popsicle - the good quality kind where it's softened just the perfect amount that you can bite into it, and it tastes great too.

Part of me loves this and part of me thinks it's way too sweet. At first it's fruity and tropical and fun but as it settles it starts to smell like I spilled a marg on myself. It turns sticky sweet, like a milky coconut lime syrup, and it's just a little too much... But I'm going to keep trying it this Summer

Perfect little summer fragrance. Reminds me very much of another summer favorite: DKNY Be Delicious Coconuts About Summer. Coconutty, a bit of lime, but never too far into cocktail territory or suntan lotion territory--it stays feminine and pretty and light.

The notes listed are spot on- lovely sweet and salty lime w/ other tropical fruits that feels soft and creamy, not cloying. I opted to buy this as soon as I smelled it in store, which I never do. It's fun and perfect for summer.

I got a sample of this and wasn't a fan at first. It grew on me. It's a very beach coconut lime perfume. Really nice for summer or vacation at the beach!

I only fell 'soft' for this hyped new fragrance... I picked up the travel spray as opposed to blind buying the full bottle. And I'm glad my gut told me so. Don't get me wrong, the opening is nice. A coconut and lime, fruity-salty vibe. I see where they want you to go with this. Summer is coming and we all want to smell like a pina colada on the beach. But the dry down here? Not loving it. It has a sharp sour note - I assume the lime? So maybe more like a margarita. But THEN... it has a burnt wood smell. Not smoky. Someone said rubber tires. Yeah. I almost get that, too. I don't hate this by any means, but I have several "here-comes-summer" fragrances that I enjoy much more than this one. "Soft" pass.

VERY disappointed by this one. I really dont get anything from this apart from lime rind and burnt sugar/treacle. No coconut, no banana. I dont get any sweetness or freshness, just a sharp bitterness that doesnt really develop on dry down. This is a real shame because I love Miami Nectar. I was hoping for more of that cologne-like, tropical paradise-scent, but sadly all i got was a dry lime that’s been sat on the counter for 6 days. It doesn’t last long either

I love the first 10 minutes of this on my skin but then something happens and becomes quite spicy and a little too masculine for me. It’s ok but not the summer banger I was hoping for and not as good as Miami nectar or guava granita

I wanted to like this SO badly. I've become a big fan of Ellis Brooklyn over the past 1-2 years and in my opinion their standouts are their summer fragrances. With the lime, salt, and banana this sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately though, this is a no for me. Upon VERY first spray, like the first five seconds, I get a coconut lime margarita which is delicious. If it stayed that way or even turned more creamy coconut woody banana as it dries down it would be great. However, as soon as it starts to dry there's a note that comes out that's awful. I'm not even sure what it is, but it seems unnatural and very out of place in a summer tropical, and ruins the entire experience for me. My only thought is that maybe it's the brown sugar and it's coming off really artificial to me? I can also see where others are getting rubber tire, though that's not how I would have classified it myself. I was hoping this would become the summer scent I'd need a full bottle of from Ellis Brooklyn, but I'll prob just be replacing my travel Miami Nectar with a full bottle of that in the future instead.

I sprayed this on paper in Sephora and really loved it so bought a 10ml to try. I don't know why it is so different but all I am getting is a sweaty man on a hot day (which is tragic honestly) so I am going to pop this in drawer in a cool room for a few weeks and see if if comes out nicer. The tester at the store smelled 100% better- the lime just popped off so well and then the coconut was this dry and totally beachy without sunscreen scent. I have high hopes that this will be better after some rest (just like I generally am lol) and will update accordingly if so!

I wanted to love this so bad! Miami Nectar and guava granita smell good to me, but this one. Nope. Something is OFF and FUNKY. Idk if it's the banana mixed with the brown sugar and lime and orchid but it's not giving what it's advertised. I don't get mermaid vibes at all. I don't get summer banger, I don't get vacation in a bottle. None of it. I'll definitely be returning it. $110 for 1.7oz of some juice I will never EVER use, I just can't justify. Vanilla Salt is 100x better than this for a summer scent.

I liked the lime in the beginning but after a few wears, the salt just does something weird on my skin and I don't enjoy this perfume at all sadly. Or maybe it's the ginger, ginger always comes off funky on me I think. I scrubbed it off to wear something else. I liked the idea of this perfume but it just doesn't work for me. It's true that the deep drydown is beautiful though. But I just can't get to that point anymore, it's a shame.

Update 3/23 Nevermind I can not get over the burnt brown sugar note unfortunately. 3/16 Omg! Lime! Okay! I was worried the dry down would be similar to the dry downs in the banana body spray and guava granita. I love guava granita but I don’t want its twin. This is different. Kinda exactly what I expected looking at the light light green. Can’t wait till my travel size arrives.

I really wanted to like this, but it just smelled like straight up chemical sunscreen and fake coconut on me. Not in a good beachy way either, more like old tanning lotion sitting in a hot car. It smells super artificial and cheap, and it gave me a headache after a while. Definitely not the sexy summer scent I was expecting.

I’m sorry - this is repulsive. I could deal with the first two, but something is mildly nauseating about this one . The dry down smells like u left ur lime and papaya dessert in the basketball gym, underneath ur sweaty jersey . The banana is MIA. This is a no .

This straight up smells like Curry. On paper it's ok but the dry down is definitely too earthy and reminiscent of a Thai coconut curry. On the skin it can lean a little musty too. I'll pass. I don't think Miami Nectar can be topped tbh.

Nope. This is a miss and also a mess! Love Guava Granita and Miami Nectar, but this is near to being utterly disgusting. I just dont know why anybody would want to smell like this! I am struggling to find anything positive to say.

I love lime & coconut so this disappointed me. Too much going on. I definitely prefer Coconut & Lime Verbena from B&BW (used to love the hand lotion) but I understand the comparison.

The worst thing I have ever smelled in my life. If you wear this, especially in the summer heat you stink. I’m not sure who signed off on this fragrance but I think I want to press charges on them. Do everyone a favor and skip this, I’m actually begging. It smells like mostly cat urine with a hint of vomit and a base note of synthetic lime. I was actually traumatized after putting this on and couldn’t wear any other perfumes for a week (which has never happened before). If you like this I’m actually scared of you.

I did not expect this at all. I sprayed the tester on my wrist, and there was something very synthetic about this perfume that reminded me of a candle. The worst part is, it also smelled like unwashed, dirty hair??? I wish I could smell what the people who love this are smelling.

The brown sugar in this is cloying, pushing toward an off-putting burnt molasses scent that overpowers whatever else is going on. There is no freshness. It is overripe fruits pushed into rotten territory with the heavy burned sugar. Miami Nectar is a favorite. This one is awful.

EWWW. The dry down on my skin smells like wet socks mixed with someone’s body odour. I sprayed this on my wrist!!! This is disgusting. Not for my skin chemistry. Initial spray is also disgusting! Overall 🤢

Just get a mixture of green banana and a musty coconut, bordering on plastic. I will stick to Miami nectar for a good coconut scent

Isla Sirena – Creamy Tropical Skin with a Bright Twist Okay... another one that immediately earned a 10/10 from me. 💜🌴✨ I just picked this up and I’m already in love. First thing — I would not call this a straight “banana fragrance.” If that scares you, don’t let it. The banana is there, but it’s blended so beautifully into the tropical composition that it reads more as creamy sweetness than literal fruit. What really stands out to me is how creamy and beachy this is. I definitely get the coconut — but not sunscreen coconut. It’s softer, more natural, like coconut water and warm skin. Then there’s this smooth, slightly woody teak note that gives the whole fragrance structure and keeps it from going too sweet. And the sea salt? That’s what makes this special. It gives it that airy, breezy, skin-like quality — like you’ve been near the ocean all day and your skin is still holding onto that soft, salty warmth. Then the lime comes in and brightens everything up. It cuts through the creaminess just enough to keep it fresh and uplifting. That little pop of citrus makes the whole fragrance feel alive and wearable in heat. On my skin this reads: 🌴 creamy coconut + soft tropical fruits 🌊 salty skin + ocean air 🍋 a hint of lime brightness ✨ smooth, slightly woody warmth It’s tropical, but elevated. Creamy, but not heavy. Sweet, but balanced. I can already tell this is going to shine in warm weather. This is the kind of scent that comes alive in the heat. And I am so excited to start layering this — especially with other Ellis Brooklyn scents like Miami Nectar and Guava Granita. I already know that combination is going to be next level. 👀✨ If you love tropical fragrances but want something more refined and skin-like rather than sugary or juvenile... this is beautiful. I really was anticipating this Ellis release. Ran to Sephora to get my nose on this almost sure I was taking home at least a 10 ml travel, unfortunately that just didn’t happen. Im a huge Banana fragrance lover and have been enjoying the recent influx of the note in perfumery. The Banana here is not at the forefront and is a background character, barely facilitating the other notes. While not incredibly compelling, I get a very fresh and juicy sorbet type experience. Not a bold perfumey or sunscreeny Coconut, very true to light airy Coconut Water note found in the composition. I don’t see resemblance to ‘coco shimmy’ as that is far more Pineapple forward to me. While this doesnt exactly smell like them, spiritually it falls somewhere between ‘Miami Nectar’ and ‘Maldives in a Bottle.’ Maybe after a few more Sephora runs/sniffs, Ill become more fond. I think I’d grab one if I found it for a really good price. 🤠

I’ve tried this fragrance twice now and both times I’ve been unable to stop myself from excessively enjoying the rich ebony wood base with the creamy fruit and salty lime. This fragrance definitely develops over time with the salty fresh lime stealing the pre-show, the heart is slightly floral and sweet, but that gorgeous ebony wood is what takes this from a flirty fruit bomb into fresh island seduction. Ellis Brooklyn could have made some basic margarita scent, but they made it a tropical journey grounded in a deep key lime/crème brûlée finish that’s not just a beachy coconut gourmand. The longevity is excellent, lasting over 8 hours on my skin with good projection. It’s 100% unisex. If you like Miami Nectar, give this a try. Can’t wait to wear this in the heat and care how it behaves.

okay sooo im obsessed 😍. this is definitely my fav out of all ellis brooklyn’s summer scents. It opens with this really pretty juicy lime not and quickly settles into this creamy banana & brown sugar base with a really nice refreshing coconut water nuance to it! i recently layered this with vanilla 28 by kayali & omg!!😍 it really pulls that brown note out while still keeping that tropical vibe & i loveeee it! Sigh....unfortunately it is not as tropical and fun as the notes would lead you to believe. I was so disappointed, it's just really OK. I really wanted a nice lime or banana to jump out at me but sadly it all kind of blends together in a mish mash and there is something in the dry down that doesn't quite go to my nose. Perhaps it's the brown sugar? I actually think the bath and body works scent it's being compared to smells better than this.
