Lychee Milkshake

out of the three in the ellis brooklyn milkshake line (they were on sale so i decided to pick one), this one called out to me the most... and i made the right choice, it's so sweet and yummy and gorgeous to me i love this !!! i've worn this scent a few times now- at first it was too subtle so i kept it away for a few weeks before using more. the subtle milky note with the raspberry and lychee are so good together, there's a cotton-candy-like airiness that rounds the scent out and doesn't leave it feeling heavy or sharp (like some fruits can be), and it doesn't shift too much on the dry down from what i have noticed. i wish this was an edp instead of a mist, but i'll be wearing this a lot anyway. i wouldn't say this scent is boringly sugary or one dimensional, but it's definitely on the sweeter side, so if that's not your thing i would skip this. but, if you love sweet and girly and want to smell like the fairylike personification of some sort of creamy fruity candy, then this is perfect. will update this with more wear!

this is so beautiful! it’s a flirty and sweet lychee fragrance. It also has some creaminess to it. I’m literally obsessed with this. I go over to my dresser to smell it at least four times a day. The only downside is it does not last or project at all, but I can justify keeping it just because it smells so good. It’s good for a bedtime fragrance or when you want something that’s really intimate

This reminds me so much of a raspberry ring pop!! 💍❣️ The sweetness it has is very addicting like candy. The raspberry is most prominent, with a sandalwood base that is slightly powdery, creamy and some musk. Not full on milkshake creamy, more so like a whipped cream topping. Lol

This is a fresh sugary lychee that is gorgeous on the skin. It's bright, sour and punchy and dries down into an almost fizzy sweet lychee after a few minutes. The only problem is that it doesn't last on the skin long! Experimenting to see if this will last on clothes but we'll see. :/ I don't want to return this! (Oh, and babes, this is by no means a "milkshake scent."). Edit: This is really lovely with Kayali YBM. Perfect “just kissed” sugary light feel to this skin. If they made a perfume of this I’d be over the moon! I just want to have a sweet simple lychee to overspray!

This one is nice but I almost returned it. It’s definitely my least fave of the 3 but worth playing with and keeping around. It starts off tart then you have to wait for the dry down that creamy milkshake comes in to mellow it out. It’s wearable but you have to like sharper fruity scents. Obviously scent is subjective and smell it for yourself.

It reminds me of Burberry Her. Milky, soft, sweet. Was hoping for more of a fruity punch in the initial spray. It’s alright, not what I was expecting.

ellis brooklyn lychee feels like the “clean girl” (though still gourmand & fruity) take on lolita lempicka’s l’eau en blanc. ngl i got robitussin the first few seconds, but that quickly wears off to make way for a very pretty, fun and nuanced fragrance. i definitely get the “milkshake” inspo, but i’m relieved that it isn’t a literal interpretation. nothing explicitly lactonic or photorealistic, but creamy, cool, and refreshing. i was worried this would be a flat, sugary scent but it’s surprisingly complex. pink pepper is subtle, doesn’t stand out but balances out the sweet opening nicely. what really sold me, though, is the woody notes— so so creamy and yet, so light and airy. no smokiness here. i wish the woodyness lasted longer. the scent as a whole outperforms other ellis brooklyn body mists though, definitely lingering longer than marshmallows imo. that said, it’s still a body mist, and it performs like one. clings to hair really well. in the background is a powdery violet/lilac/orris-adjacent scent that reminds me a lot of lolita lempicka’s l’eau en blanc, especially combined with the raspberry note. it’s mostly the powdery sweetness that lingers on me so i’ll be returning, the parts that i enjoy most (airy woody parts) disappear very quick.

Wow it’s insanely strong at first spray to the point that it lingers in the air throughout the house and I could only do a handful of sprays. The sandalwood is intense. Then 2 ish hours later it’s completely gone. Not even a skin scent. Truly you could just buy the Kayali sparkling lychee travel and get better longevity for less $$. It’s not a dupe but it’s a less woody cousin to Lychee Milkshake.

Delicious! Lychee or Litchi has been one of my top notes for a long time, so it’s nice to see it highlighted in this fragrance. I will say when I sprayed in store I did initially smell the pink pepper a bit and it doesn’t fit well with the overall scent. But the dry down is beautiful
