Beachy, sweet, coconut, vanilla, powdery, musky, lactonic, woody, tropical, bright, citrusy, softly spicy, exotic, lush, radiant, feminine, sensual, seductive, sultry, flirty, luxe, transporting, nostalgic On me this opens with a burst of citrusy, bright, and tangy bergamot and spicy pink pepper swirled with sweet, creamy, and tropical coconut milk. The heart blooms with warm spicy lily, a touch of lush jasmine, fresh spicy ginger, and cozy resinous benzoin. The dry down envelopes you in sensual and powdery vanilla absolute, soft musk, and creamy sandalwood. There’s a luxe sun tan lotion vibe here as well, which I really enjoy. The most prominent notes on me are the vanilla and coconut followed by the sandalwood, ginger, pink pepper, bergamot, and benzoin. Yes, this is a scent profile that’s been done by most brands, although to be honest, I’m still not tired of them. I just adore these beachy/coconut scents, particularly ones that have that sun tan lotion/monoi oil scent, which this has. This has its own unique twist though. The bergamot is more prominent than in other similar scents, which brings a tart, tangy scent throughout this. It also has the prominent spicy pink pepper and ginger, as well as benzoin which really brings a resinous quality to the scent that we typically don’t get. As for the “reminds me” section, I do get at least some similarities to many of them. I see some similarities to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, SDJ Rio Radiance/87, Flor Mística, BBW Coco Paradise, Oahu Coconut Sunset, Bali Black Coconut Sands, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, Alien Goddess, Phlur Beach Skin, and Coconut Skin. I’ve really been enjoying Ellis Brooklyn as a brand lately, especially with their newer releases. They really feel more on the mark for me. I own the mists in Marshmallows, Sand, and Vanilla Sin. I also own the perfumes in Vanilla Salt, Queen’s Caramel, Miami Nectar, Bee, Salt, Vanilla Milk, and Myth. Beautiful, beachy, sweet, creamy, warm, fresh, bright, and intoxicating. This is a day spent on a tropical beach with the sun warming your skin, the sand between your toes, a gentle ocean breeze ruffling your hair, and a tropical drink in your hand - preferably one in a coconut! The notes that are the most prominent to me are the creamy coconut milk, the Sicilian bergamot with its freshness, sweet vanilla absolute, and the sandalwood with its slightly creamy and sweetly woody scent. I do pick up on (although, more subtle) the cozy benzoin, a touch of warm ginger, floral and feminine Lily, and a whisper of musk until after the dry down when it becomes slightly more prominent. Overall this is just such a wonderful scent! Sand is my favorite Ellis Brooklyn fragrance to date! For reference, I also have Salt (my 2nd favorite), Myth, Vanilla Milk, and Bee. However, I just ordered the new Miami Nectar about an hour ago and I’m really curious about how I’ll feel it may compare to Sand! For further reference, some of my favorite beachy fragrances include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Kilian Sunkissed Goddess, Replica Beach Walk, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, and JHAG Vanilla Vibes! I feel like Sand fits in perfectly with them! It kind of makes me think somewhat of a mixture of Soleil Blanc and Beach Walk. I get good performance with Sand. I get decent longevity with this... it lasts most of the day, but I do typically need a touch up. The projection is nice too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. Sand is such a great name for this and the beautiful ombré bottle is a great representation of the fragrance.

Best sandy beach body spray that I have tried. I thought I was bored with this scent profile and then I discovered this. Smells like you are sitting on a powdery beach with the finest soft sand and you are eating vanilla soft serve ice cream. It is easy to layer. I tried this with Mugler Alien Goddess, Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco, and Victoria Secret's Sunset Gelato body spray. The combo with Mugler Alien Goddess was very sexy. Impressive longevity and silage for a body spray. I resprayed this before I went to bed and I woke up with this scent still on my skin. Evokes the feeling of a sandy beach but the vanilla keeps it from being too literal. The sand scent is pretty realistic but the ginger, vanilla, and sandalwood makes this very perfumey . This is a crowd pleasing summer scent that I will wear even if I am not on vacation.I would repurchase this and I see it becoming a summertime staple for me. 9/10

This is a beautiful body mist. I love me some fruity goodness and this one delivers with the coconut. I don't know how they did it but I also get that warm sun-kissed skin/sand vibe from this as well in the most pleasant way possible. I know florals are a thing I need to be mindful of in perfumes as I dislike more than I like. I feel like with sand the initial burst of smell is a creamy coconut backed up by a light floral scent which I find works well and is enjoyable to my nose. I have both Peaches and Sand body mist and Sand is my favorite of the two. My mom also purchased a bottle of sand she likes the scent and it doesn't irritate her skin. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that causes her skin to get irritated easily and a lot of her old perfumes caused discomfort applied to the skin. She can happily wear this without irritation.

This is now my favorite, sophisticated beach fragrance that you can wear year round. I layer it with all my summery, beachy scents! This is what all beach scents wish they were. I can't believe I am writing this, as it can be found at discounter's for a really good price. It is Soleil Blanc's richer, dreamier, muskier, benzoin-ier (it has a beautiful benzoin in it!), better smelling sister! I said what I said. I just fricken looooove it! And, Ellis Brooklyn, is a clean, sustainably sourced brand, so, uh, wowie this makes me so happy! Scoooore!
