Sun Fruit

I am surprised by how much I have loved this — I have actually purchased two bottles, which is so rare for me but this is so fresh and absolutely uplifting. I am also a massive fan of fig fragrances and when I first bought it, I didn’t realize that that was supposed to be one of the notes but I don’t like *every* supposed fig fragrance (ahem, Father Figure), I just like the freshness and fruitiness of this. My only disappointment is how short its life is on my skin (which is a common complaint I see) but I do tend to have that issue with many other fragrances. I don’t mind reapplying and sometimes I’ll even reapply before bed so that I can enjoy it myself. In more recent years I have tended to gravitate towards more green and woody things but it’s nice to throw in something happy and fruity for summer. I don’t find this generic at all.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this so much! The combination of pear, fig, and coconut works really well together. It’s light, refreshing, and perfect for summer, but this can honestly be worn during any season. The longevity isn’t excellent but it lasts for a few hours at least. Sillage is moderate. Sun Fruit does seem overpriced, but if you’re looking for a unique, fruity summer fragrance, it’s at least worth sampling. When this first came out, I ignored it after looking at the scent profile. It seemed like this was just another fresh, beachy fragrance reminiscent of a summer themed body spray. While there’s some similarities, Sun Fruit is more sophisticated. The fig note really sets it apart. I never would have even tried this if it wasn’t for a sample that came with my order of Bee. 9.5/10

I got this as a sample. I've struggled to wear perfumes in the last couple of years my sense of smell is haywire!! I smell everything and it's not fun. Synthetic fragances are the absolute worst! I've opted to wearing natural oils to avoid headaches. I was nervous to try this. But away I went! Was bright and fierce at first and I was nervous. but as it settled quickly, I found myself taking deep enhales of it and could not stop!! I love it. It's unusual enough to be gourmand but light enough for everyday summer wear. Definitely a pleasant surprise, by the look of the bottle I might not have been tempted but I'm pleased I did. I will be purchasing a full size next summer.

It’s delicious, sharp as a paper cut when first sprayed - electric and tangy. Then it becomes a glorious fruit punch. Once it dries, there’s a subtle, balanced creaminess that comes through - like the popsicles with vanilla ice cream inside. Then, heartbreakingly, it’s gone. I wish this lasted, and I wish it projected after the first 90 seconds... I bought the body oil too, as I read it lasted longer (it doesn’t - at least for me), and while it’s lovely, I don’t get the same juicy hit the perfume provides. Most irritatingly, neither the box nor the glass of the body oil bottle matches the wonderful chartreuse of the perfume.

This perfume is the first time I purchased a fragrance without having any plans to purchase one... one sniff of it at Sephora and I bought it immediately without a wear-test. The second this fragrance is sprayed it's a blast of juicy, sweet pear. Like some sort of pear nectar. Immediately after, the coconut and some sort of juicy citrus begin to develop, and that's that. The scent doesn't change too much throughout the day once it dries down, and stays on forever! Just so up-beat, fresh, and bright. I would compare this scent to a juicy coconut scented shampoo almost? Without it being soapy or juvenile.
