HAZY BLUE (이내)

Discovered this in their store in Soho NYC and it was my favorite by far! Hazy Blue starts citrusy and energetic and bright, but with a creamy, velvety base that combined feels like bright energy, sophistication, but also comforting and calm. Highly recommend going to their shop in Soho as there is a cute coffee bar in the back too!

Another phenomenal offering from Elorea! I think I might finally understand what “ozone accord” smells like (or maybe it’s just because of the name). Clean but not boring; a very safe professional scent.

This smells like if Musk K had an aquatic vibe. I’m obsessed and this lasted 10+ hrs on my skin.

Fresh and good for daily wear. Smells sweet on my skin!

beautiful!!! so inoffensive and clean feeling

A clean powdery scent that is very faintly aquatic. Once it fades to the middle note, the florals take over and become very mild and sweet. It is the safest floral scent I've personally tried, which means it is quite middle-of-the-road on its own. Once it reaches the mild sweetness of its floral notes, it is very hard to detect on the skin because it is easily overpowered by other smells in the environment. Interestingly, it begins unisex, then fades to be very feminine because the orange flower water adds the slightest sweetness. It is a very gorgeous fragrance, and I would recommend it to people who want a professional, clean scent or if they spend a lot of time indoors.

Smelled this in store, and it reminded me a lot of acqua de gio by armani except much lighter. It was almost difficult for me to pick up on any of the notes

The first impression is melancholic and introspective. It captures the blue hour well. It has a crepuscular nature. The composition itself comes across as sporty with a familiar masculine marine DNA. This is partially due to the amber and sandalwood base. The base notes can be smelled from first spray. I personally don't enjoy the type of amber used in this and many modern blue fragrances. There is a touch of green from the lily of the valley, threatening the composition into swampiness. The "orange flower water" smells more marine than aquatic. There is a slight sweetness. It is nothing like the sweetness of many feminine orange blossom perfumes. It is linear. I like Hazy Blue best in spring when it leans floral, as the marine notes come out more in summer. If you are on the lookout for a moody warm weather perfume, this might be the one for you. I believe this is the bestseller from The Forgotten Words quad, as it has been restocked a few times since 2023. Unlike the previous Elements collection, I find The Forgotten Words collection to be very abstract.

I think I love the drydown of this one a lot more than initial spray simply because of the sharp jasmine that goes a bit sour on my skin... I don't have any beef with aldehydes typically but in this scent it just runs a bit bitter and less of that fresh-air aquatic floral feeling that I was hoping for:/ The drydown is a super clean, soft laundry-like musk though which I really enjoy.

similar to water for me where it was really fresh and clean which i loved but I think the dry down was just okay. I think they are very similar to me but this would definetly be better for people that like a bit more florals and citrus

I tested this in the store and loved it. Unfortunately on my skin it dries down into the worst sort of aquatic smell. Kind of watery and gross. I keep trying it and having to scrub it off. This is a really unfortunate comparison to make, but it reminds me of secretions magnifiques from ELDO. Hopefully it performs better on other people's skin.

Getting straight guava out of this one.
