WATER (감)

A fresh, bright, distinct citrusy blast. There's much more going on with the fragrance as a whole than what the notes alone listed would convey. The initial notes have more depth than just the initial punch of citrus, something about it is anchored in the middle notes and base, probably the ylang-ylang and mandarin orange, and the hint of cedar. The Pocheon Jasmine, Water's signature Korean ingredient, does cut differently than your average jasmine note in a mainstream fragrance. It is more pungent, like a fresh cut stem blended with the vibrant bergamot and neroli at the opener. The Pocheon Jasmine comes on strong and settles into a beautifully long-lasting, weighty punch of floral freshness with gentle but bitter sourness in the middle notes. The cedar and musk never overtake their place in the background, and to me the middle notes remain prominent hours later. Even some of the top notes seem to stick around late into the day on my skin. It never settles into being just a subtle skin scent, though the sillage is not supposed to be very powerful. I can still smell the strength of the freshness in the middle notes and base well into 6-8 hours of wear on me. Personally I love spraying this on during hot days and enjoy it for hours even in humid summer weather. It is so pleasant and intensively refreshing, like a cool drink. I adore it. Absolutely my favorite entry from Elorea so far. I would recommend this if you like a strong fresh scent with a unique citrus punch. Wonderful as a genderless fragrance, I can recommend it to anyone who thoroughly enjoys the listed notes but wants something all its own.

Oooooh, this is so pretty!! I love this new perfume house! I bought their discovery box via IG and so far, I have tried Fire and Water. Water is wonderfully bright, soft and gentle. It smells feminine to me, personally. Though it can definitely be worn by either gender. I love the burst of freshness at the beginning, it is quite invigorating. But as the scent settles, it transforms into a very gentle aquatic/floral. It isn’t sweet but it has such a tender feeling to it, I absolutely love it!! Maybe it is the Pocheon Jasmin? It’s a Jasmin plant/flower native to South Korea, I believe. It is very very nicely done and I am going to get a full bottle of Water 💦😆😆 Pun intended 💦🌊💧 Personally, I do not detect anything sea-like. This is very fresh, aquatic, gentle, floral and almost-but-not-quite-sweet. Small addendum: This is long lasting! I have now been wearing for several hours and it is still there and very beautiful. At first, I couldn’t remember what this reminded me of but I figured it out!! It reminds me of Water Lily Sun by Aerin! This is no dupe by any means but both of these scents have an aquatic/dewy quality to it that makes them vibe together. I used to own Water Lily Sun a looooong time ago...it’s a beautiful fragrance...it takes me back to my youth 😆💚💚

Opening is like a refreshing yuzu drink, then turns into sweet yuzu candy, dries down very musky and a bit spicy --- kind of reminds me of the smell of wet soil, but in a good way. I like how it's a bit cologne-y, and very unisex. The smell retains an air of "coolness" that is reminiscent of aquatic notes but not quite the same. This is my everyday scent at the moment.

This is a lovely fresh scent with bursting citrus top notes. dries down smooth and soft with a bit of white floral musk. very pretty but also gender-neutral. I share it with my husband and I like it both on myself and on my husband.

This is light, lovely. I much prefer it to Alfred Sung's Shi. It is more complex and elegant. It lasts longer on me by 2 hours.

Almost done with this amazing scent love it. I like to wear to the office very clean and fresh.

I dig this one. Quality juice. I particularly enjoy this on rainy days. This is a Spring/end of summer scent. Kind of reminds me of pressed white dress shirt ironed with starch spray in the midst of a fresh rain. Think "Windows XP background in the Spring after a light drizzle". This is unisex but leans feminine because of the heart notes. The freshness and "fresh rain" feel are appealing on anyone when worn on the right occasion. Can be worn alone when you want to smell clean without drawing too much attention, but can be layered as well. Fragheads will hate me but I layered this with Dior Sauvage EDT and I enjoyed the mix. I want to try this with Sauvage Parfum, Ani by Nishane and Tuxedo by YSL. I think adding anything with vanilla would be a good way to enhance Water. I enjoy the Forgotten Words collection as well. All the scents from this house have a "Fresh" "water" "light" "clean" feel. They are unisex but lean feminine. They all feel like Spring time scents to me. Promising house. - Edit: I layered this with Vetiver EDT by Guerlain and it’s a magical Springtime combination. I smell like a beautiful floral arrangement firmly planted in wet earth. Try it out if you have both!

This opens as a citrus-floral that is heavier on the bergamot, slightly bitter and floral. The opening is sharp. As its name suggests, the scent invokes the spirit of water. It can fill a small room with one spray. It lasts 10+ hrs on my skin and even longer on clothing. After 40 m - 1 hr, the scent settled into a linear, mellow floral musk. I detect primarily jasmine and ylang-ylang, deepened by cedar. It did not become a skinscent. I find this fragrance to be unisex, bittersweet, and elegant. The season represented by Water is winter. It brought back memories of standing on a rocky beach: simultaneously cold from the ocean, warm from the sun.

It’s a smell of spring forest. Watery flowers like lilly-of-the-valley and lilac mixed with the moist soil and wooden bark scents. The name suits well. For FB I’d need a bit of more complexity. Lovely overall. Agree with another reviewer that some vanilla in the base would improve the scent.

Fresh, almost cologne like. I love clean fresh scents with florals. I did the discovery set. Fire is the most mass appealing and it is really good but I really liked the clean freshness of Water. Heaven and Earth are nice too Water is what I decided to go full bottle on.

Contrary to its name (and the general assumption), this is not an aquatic fragrance. I think they're trying to portrait the gentleness of water; it's a comforting scent but reminds me too much of SMN Citta Di Kyoto, which is more original & much cheaper.

I like it a lot but I think the dry down fell flat to me because it kina of just smelled like clean skin which is great but at that point might as well just take a shower.

Not worth the money. Very mediocre scent and easy to forget. Way overpriced for what it is.

This is the only fragrance from the sample set that I wore in entirety. I would say this leans more feminine and is a pleasant, ethereal, floral green. This is a good choice to wear if you are in a closed room for a business meeting or other venue where you want to smell 'fresh' but not offend those sitting next to you. I recommend trying this.

This fragrance is very nice! In my opinion it isn’t super interesting, but it’s very likable. If your like Rrose by Ellis Brooklyn or Acqua do Gioia from Armani, you will like this scent.

Delicate, lovely. I generally wear thick, deep, chewy, earthy, dank, dark fragrances. Water is ovely, wearable, delicate prettiness. I'll be getting a bottle.
