Apparition Parfum Revelation

This won't be a full review, because I still don't know what to say about it. It's a luxurious oil parfum that screams 90s in every way. Even the bottle has that 90s nostalgia, but the scent does too.. except it isn't super loud like all those 90s scents. Anyhoozie, I'm sitting here after applying a generous amount on my wrist and up my arms, behind the ears and down my neck, and trying to see what comes up for me and all I can think is.. 90s. I thought I'd try pairing it with something to see what it does. Well, unexpectedly, I paired it with Davidoff's Cool Waters edt and BOOM.. THIS IS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! They have a couple notes in common and are so different so it was a gamble, but I'm not going anywhere till later when I'll only be seeing my best friend. I'll see if she tells me I smell nice, but right now I think the pair smell AMAZING together. They compliment each other so well and create their own scent. The Cool Waters keeps it clean while turning this 90s Apparition louder-than-a-whisper-but-not-quite-a-scream into a total 90s bomb. Omg I love it! Wouldn't wear these together every day as I have too many others and basically wear by mood/day/event/activity, but this is just something else. If anyone else pairs these and picks up what it is they're giving off, let me know! It reminds me of something I just can't put my finger on, except... It's the 90s.. and in such a great way. Speaking of the 90s, Perry Ellis 360 for women, the white box reminds me so much of Malibu Musk, for those grieving that loss. Okay, that's all for now. I'll edit another time after wearing this on its own a few times and really sitting with it to get to know it. Omg as this dries down, it is unflippingbelievable. That is the Apparition, but the Cool Waters is making it pop. TRY IT.

Revelatory VINTAGE HELIOTROPE & Beyond... Opens with a vintage-y floral burst with raspberry & pepper nuances, that sheds its vintage vibe and deepens into a rosy heart of passionflower, that has nuances of baby powder, vanilla, plum, almond & violet, all resting on a patchouli-heliotrope base. Overall what I get is a blossoming heliotrope scent (reminders of heliotrope essential oil), that becomes intoxicatingly rich & deep (deeper than heliotropin/heliotrope essential oil). When I first smelt this, I didn't really appreciate it, and thought it was kinda meh, but now, a year later, it makes my eyes roll back in my head it's so good! Takes several months (up to a year) in dark storage to develop the true scent (but worth the wait) - before that I was only getting the vintage floral opening. Well above average performance in this small oil perfume. Layers well with Cabotine Rosalie Gres, which is an abstract heliotrope scent imo. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

I have this version also. I didnt know that it was different till I just discovered the above review. This has a gel like texture. Ive never smelled or tried the regular versions of this, but the scent is nice. I do get the pepper & raspberry notes.

It s a revelation indeed. It hase the same texture as Magie Noire Magic Oil but sure, different smell. It s a dry oil, very interesting and beautiful on the skin. The composition is exactely the same as the edt, also the smell but more refinated and beautiful - and the noses are, again, the same: so Fragrantica please give the credit to Mr. Francis Kurkdjian and Mrs. Francoise Caron, the mother of my beloved Gió 1992. As an old pure perfume, the sillage is not terrific,but indeed very good. The longevity is hours... It gives you a nice subtle glow on the skin, looks interesting at the night. Very beautiful fruity chypre smell, the spicy raspberry here is to die for, unique. Discontinued for unknown stupid reasons and hard to find. I love it. I have the version presented here in the photo, as I see there is another version with different coloured pack but probably the same smell ❤️

i love the aroma of this fragrance but i don t know what this revelation thing wants to be.. i ordered it by believing it's a more intense version of the original but it was not a spray perfume, it was some kind of jelly velvety bodyelixir with the exactly same same aroma as the original. kind of original and cute for the purse but i still prefere the spray bottle than this one.
