Diva Rouge

This is interesting! It is very long lasting and has good projection too. I have had the Police perfume, Guess, and Exclamation that this supposedly smells like. This smells a little like the Guess/Guerlain perfumes. However, there is no hint of lavender in sight. My husband hates most of my perfumes but declared this a winner. Weirdly, he says it smells like Christmas to him. I have no clue why. To me, this is business casual feeling, somewhat fancy but approachable and warm. Edit: After having this about a year, this is an absolute love. It smells similar, but better, than Very Sexy Oasis. This is backup bottle worthy!♥️

I blind bought this as a "fill the cart" perfume to get free shipping, and it was very affordable. The juice is a happy surprise! Its juicy, sweet, woody and well blended (I don't see a perfumer credited, but I may research that further.) As it dries down the almond blossom and tonka are key players, but don't drown out the fruits, jasmine and vetiver. Performance seems about average, and I think it's suitable for all but the hottest weather, day or night.

What a beautiful surprise! Yes, it is the little sister of Rouge Malachite, more suitable for hot days, less the pepper note. Great fruity opening with this gorgeous apricot, then beautiful jasmine as RM. No ressemblance at all with Amaridge in my opinion. Perfect blind buy.

The original Diva is one of my most coveted fragrances. Sadly I haven't been able to find it offline so far but found the flankers and this one stood out to me. When I first sampled it I went, "oh heck no", but when I came home and smelled my forearm again it turned into, "oh wow wait a minute." It's hard to judge a scent by its tester bottle because of the conditions they're kept in and the headache inducing generic perfumey fragrance I've smelled in every perfume store I've been to, so even though it wasn't a blind buy I still felt like I was in the dark. But I didn't want to pass on the opportunity to own a Diva fragrance (their reputation precedes them) and hoped I'd come to love the scent more as I wear and understand it better, and I did indeed. The opening is bold, sharp, juicy and citrus-y (juicy bergamot + sweet and sour berries) which initially repelled me but I've warmed up to it eventually; at first you might also perceive a masculine undertone, not the bland androgynous kind however but more like "my older husband embraced me and his cologne rubbed off my dress." The longer you wear it the more delightfully sweet it becomes. With sour and citrusy notes gone, there's a wonderful blend of sweet and woody left which is warm and cozy. Woody notes aren't overpowering and complement almond blossom and apricot instead of dominating them. There is also a little hint of something oriental to my nose. And as for something tropical, once in a while I feel like I vaguely can smell... Mango, I think? I genuinely thought woody notes weren't my thing before this fabulous flanker. The fragrance is luxurious and complex enough in my opinion. I find myself captivated by its transformation from sharp and bold (so much so that I'm not really bothered by the notes I don't like) to sweet and comforting with steady non-offensive woody notes in the background. Makes me think of that cute little Twin Peaks café that played dreamy 90s songs. I would consider the scent vintage inspired. Projection is so-so, longevity above average. I like/love it. Rest in paradise Emanuel Ungaro. Edit: I actually adore this fragrance now. The dry down is the perfect, most majestic blend of sweet and woody notes I've ever smelled. It doesn't lean either way, it's equal parts sweet and woody with a little hint of citrus, and the notes all come together instead of being presented each on their own. The woody notes are something else too - not dirty, very feminine and delicate. Excellent take on vetiver, it usually smells like dried wood (or perhaps hay?) to me and leans earthy or green - here it does not! The best vetiver to me so far. Inoffensive even when oversprayed. High quality fragrance that smells wealthy despite being affordable.

What a great discovery! I pouted when I saw the ultra kitsch bottle and almost didn't try it; I was expecting something old-fashioned and outdated, but not at all! It's beautiful, warm, and sensual; I say yes ! Friendly reminder that you should never judge a perfume by its bottle... It smells like jasmine, mandarin and apricot. It's nicely woody, just enough to enhance everything. It's not too sweet at all, on the contrary, perfectly balanced and - icing on the cake - it has great staying power on skin and fabric. I'm surprised to read that it was released in 2023 because I find it has the same allure as certain perfumes from the 90s and - coming from me - that's a compliment, believe me! It is the opposite of the ultra sweet and fruity perfumes that we find nowadays, what a joy!

The packaging is well crafted. No, the bottle does not look cheap in person. Or rather it if looks to you cheap in the picture, so it will look to you in person. It’s exactly like the pictures. For some people, bright colours are already kitschy. My notion of kitsch is something like Nicky Minaj and a lot of middle eastern bottles. This one I would say is flamboyant like flamenco. Almond-y is my initial impression of the scent. It reminds me of Amande Solinotes. Also, it does smell similar to Paradiso Assoluto by Roberto Cavalli! It is like a cross-over between these two (neither of which I can enjoy). So far, I like the bottle more than the scent. The perfumer is Clement Gavarry. PS: I actually enjoy the drydown, which is similar to Cool Water Parfum. I assume it’s the vetiver.

The new Diva fragrance by Ungaro is dressed in an amazing lacquer red, enclosed in the iconic bottle inspired by a famous Haute Couture dress. A thunderously feminine fragrance that completely distances itself from the historic forerunner of which the rose is the absolute protagonist. Diva Rouge is a triumph of citrus opening notes that magically evolve towards strong floral notes of almond blossom and jasmine with sweet fruity apricot accords. On dry down the fragrance becomes enveloping, creamy and reassuring thanks to the woody notes and Tonka bean.

This doesn't smell like the listed notes to me. It certainly doesn't smell like most of the "Reminds Me Of" scents. Sort of tropical smelling, to me, with Diva original hiding in the background. I'm going to try it a few more times but for now it's just ok. **Just layered it with Diva, smells really good.

It doesn't have mimosa listed but to my nose it's very similar to Entebaa by Rasasi, with an addition of apricot. The performance of Entebaa is poor though so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a cheaper alternative. It's a pass for me because smells overly synthetic and too powdery for my taste.

This is not a modern fragrance. Perhaps younger ladies will enjoy it ,because it's a novelty to them. But to those of us who lived through the 80' and 90' this is an old lady classic,-old ladies being us that is;)

I didnt particularly like the opening, but the drydown is like powdery chocholate. Very soothing

Not memorable, a generic floral+sweet synthetic scent.

Let me be unpopular. I was planning to add this to my collection, loving Diva classic since it's vintage times (I'm fortunate to have the first edition and 2000's versions), but after testing its Red interpretation twice in the shop, I have to say this is an unremarkable pink perfume. For kids could be a good fit.

Diva Rouge , me llamo la atención por su color y porque es la versión más nueva de Diva Perfume De Ungaro el primero. Primeras impresiones :A la Primera Atomización un conjunto de notas altas , lo primero que identifiqué fue un olor a confitado como que estuviera oliendo la producción de confites en una fábrica de confites , luego el olor frutal a durazno , este olor a durazno envuelto en notas frescas vibrantes me imagino que por la Bergamota y la Mandarina , a medida que fui profundizando en su uso , me pareció como el Amarige de Givenchy , Literal. Segundas Impresiones: ahora ya con más uso del perfume e identificado un cambio de entrada ya no se siente ese olor a confitado de inicio tan marcado como en las primeras atomizaciones , ahora además de ese conjunto de primeras notas vibrantes se siente un olor Amaderado , y un olor más oriental especiado misterioso que no defino bien si es a nuez o Chocolate y vainilla o una mezcla de éstas pero de forma sutil sin.perder su presencia. El perfume ha cambiado definitivamente estás notas últimas que he logrado percibir le dan un toque de misterio y seducción. Dura alrededor de seis horas en mi piel sin retoques y el perfume queda impregnado en mi ropa hasta el dia siguiente.

Aye curumba, Diva Rouge, I'm so not a fan, sorry Ungaro, but this isn't giving what I thought that it would be giving. It strongly reminds me of something else as well and I for the life of me, I know that I've smelled this before, but I can't think what it is. And there's something in this which is highly synthetic and it burns my nose. So I get slightly irritated when wearing it. Its such a mismash of notes and its quite heavy and cloying, which if heavy was on its own, I wouldn't have a problem with, but cloying and synthetic is a no from me im afraid.

I Love Diva Ungaro so much that even if I don't like the notes in Diva Rouge the flanker is Unique and unforgettable beautiful I'm going to buy it just for the DIVA IN RED! I have always associated the original Diva 1983 with the song "Lady in Red" Ironically, Diva is all Roses and Honey would've been perfect for the color of this Diva Rouge flanker red roses red flanker but this Diva has no roses. Looking forward to trying this Diva Rouge I'll let y'all know... One Love Emanuel Ungaro

Now that's a good looking bottle and presentation. Ungaro makes good fragrances in general and original Diva smells expensive. I definitely want this one for my collection.

Such a beautiful opening, honey-like IMO, but after 5 to 10 mins you are getting a cheap frag
