Emanuel Ungaro Apparition Exotic Green

This scent starts out with a bright burst of citrus goodness, followed quickly by the green notes of bamboo and violet leaves. On the drydown there is the touch of sweet cinnamon mingled with the woody notes of fresh cedar. This is a very nice green fragrance, that would be great for someone who likes the lighter perfumes.

I like this, I stumbled on it a few years ago online at a great price and picked up a bottle and liked it so much I bought a few more when I had the chance. To me this is very green (unlike the impressions of others), it is heavy on the bamboo, violet leaf and base notes with a hint of the citrus to begin with. I don't get the black currant or cinnamon at all. I was in the middle of a Green Tea (and flankers) phase and to me this was a more sophisticated and elegant version of the same idea as Green Tea and its flankers. And although sillage and longevity on this are not great, it is better than any Green Tea version I have used. I felt like I graduated from the most youthful Green Tea to a slightly older Apparition Exotic Green, they are not similar but both have that green freshness. This is an office safe choice to me.

Agree with Lakambini,I was expecting something greener.However it's a really lovely,fresh & clean floral frag.Fairly long lasting,especially good for summer or a hot climate. As a guy,I have no problems wearing a scent aimed at women & this to me is a very unisex fragrance.Green,minty & refreshing. It can be purchased for very good price online,so if you want a good quality,light ,fresh scent to pop in your handbag then this would be perfect. Don't agree with the comparison to Lancome "O",reminds me more of Cool by Loewe.

Like Lakambini,I was also expecting a much greener scent. This is nice but not what I was hoping for. Something about it just doesn't work for me. I like the freshness of it, but it doesn't last on me at all. The bottle is pretty, but the spray cap on mine broke the 1st time I used it - just am not having much luck with this one!

I tested it some time ago. A pretty fresh scent, non offensive at all. But the staying power is none. It was gone completely after an hour.

I was expecting something herbal and green, thanks to the bamboo imagery. This is not green so much as fruity, with apple, and perhaps pear, the notes I detect. It seems to me a cousin to Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue, one of the many fruity-woody scents inspired by it. I don't smell anything particularly floral about it. It is a pleasant, light everyday fragrance, and although I don't believe in age restrictions when it comes to wearing scents, I think this has a youthful, summery vibe and really comes into its own in hot weather. A good gift idea for someone whose tastes you are not sure of, or someone who wants a discreet perfume.

Yes, here is someone who just got this precious fragrance. Exotic green, when you spray it on it is more then lovely, actually it ́s an explosion of citruses but as soon it dries down, I think there is not very much citrus left and it will not be very long lasting. The base notes and warm notes are long lasting but the citrus and juicy, fruity smells are quickly gone. What remains is a warm and agreable and friendly woodsy smell. No problem, just keep the bottle in your bag and spray it on when necessary. I love it and will use it very much or too much.

21. march 2015 An ordinary, fresh and little bit on the green side fragrance with moderate lasting power and low sillage. You have to literally bath in it to make it last and smell it, or spray liberally onto your clothes. Starts out as happy citrus mix and then stays as fresh mix of bamboo and citrus. No cinnamon, no sandal, no nothing else! Actually it smells like another Apparition "Pink", but without yuzu and pink pepper and less synthetic

Lovely fresh scent, perfect for breezy summer days! It does live up to its name, definitely a lot of green in this scent. I bought this as a blind buy based on the price and reviews here. I'm probably taking this to the office, so I can spray it on whenever, since the longevity is extremely poor. The price was really good, so I don't feel like I wasted my money, but buyer be aware, this lasts less than an hour!

This fragrance reminds me of a lighter, subtler version of Gres Cabotine. You get a lot of green, but in a more delicate composition. It's not bad at all, and it's highly recommended for women who are not into fragrances at all and need a light and easily wearable introduction.
